Quick note to anyone who might be looking at the new Familiars trait and already has the Animate Dead/The Spirits hear my Call/Spectral Army/Imaginary Swords Cut Too; while it is possible to have multiple "conjuring" traits, each unit of War-Magi and Magi may only conjure 1 Unit (10 in case of Spectral Army) each.

Should've made a magic nation that could just summon things for days. Spectural cuts, both necro summons, element summons. Daaaag. Good call on not making those stack

You choose the Air Force type and instantly research all the necessary units, but you have to build them


This means I can build stuff other than fast dirigibles right?

@Eklispe Your Air-Force only allows Fast, so Fast is all you can have at the movement. May change in the future though

Okay this is just a question but i was under the impression that you could research different unit types. Like I could research Heavy Cavalry at some point. Am I mistaken in this?

Army Units you are able to research and then train yes, but at the moment your Air Force and Navy is set with the units available in your Air Force or Navy type.

@Bright_Ops Well, Blaris is gone of course so there is unity to some extent among the island powers, my next IC post will be focused on redistribution of garrisons to hold off the darkness.

As far as researching unit types, could i research legionnaires? recruitable Heavy infantry units, which come in the numbers of light infantry units? (1 unit = 100, instead of 25) but need to have researched superior forging for weapons, armor & i dunno? advanced tactics or something traits to do it?.

The War-Magi and Magi always have to be in the same province as the undead they have raised, and magic users aren't known for swimming abilities...
