Maybe someone got mad at the lag and DOS attacked them?

It's back up.

I started a new, but similar, rp, in case anyone is interested. I think this one died because it had a strict dice roll system that required me to participate in every post. The new RP has a stat system and exp system, but only to measure relative strength and progress.

Do you guys want to still do this? I think it has a fatal flaw in that we have to roll for everything in battle. I hate ending an RP like this, but I don't see how we can make it work.

For example, the need for Soul Thief to be held by someone cursed; while it's a good thing to preserve special roles in the plot for specific PCs, one should also have contingencies for when said PCs' players are absent for some reason. So the solution I would have suggested for that is to create a set of magical gloves that are themselves cursed, but can be used to handle the sword. However, these gloves are less economical than letting Jotunn's PC handle them, because they grant a temporary - 1 to a given stat.

That way, we can function without Jotunn's PC, but at the same time, it would still be preferable if we had him on our party.

Good idea. The idea behind the sword is that it will attack anyone it believes is unworthy. No one in your group is evil, or uses demonic magic, so you would need someone who's part demon or undead. I could give you a sack with Shumacher's blood on it to fool the sword. No one could use the sword until you got it back to him, but you could carry it, similar to how Perseus carried Medusa's head in a sack.

now that I have thought about it a bit, you guys understand the roll system now, so you can roll on your own if you want. The next step is that in front of the carriage house two orcs are waiting to beat you because you are going after their master. Their stats are STR 6, END 5, AGL 4, INT 1, WLL 2, LCK 2. One carries a great sword, one carries an axe and shield. You can do the battles yourself if you want.

I'd like to keep this thing going. I think the problem is that we never established a regular time. Can we work out a day of the week, that we can all commit to?
