Alright. I should have a character up within the next two to three days.
EDIT: I guess I lied. Here is a character sheet.
@Apollosarcher. I do hope this works. Been wanting to use this character concept for a while now. I can provide details.
Name: Ta Shalin
Age: 18
Species: Human
Appearance: Heart Type: Heart of the Wise
Keyblades: Yin & YangKeyblade Powers:>list][*]
Yin; Dark Calling; inherent of a “Dark Heart” existing within Shalin’s being, Yin possesses key function of the Darkness therein. With it, she can tap into and unleash Dark energies..

Yang; Breaking Light; emblematic of the “Light Heart” within Shalin, Yang is imbued with the magics thereof. As with Yin’s propensity for Darkness, Yang acts as a catalyst through which Shalin is able to channel the powers of Light.
Spells: Bio: The Keyblade Wars resonated powerfully across many worlds, lending to a slew of inter-related residual conflicts. In few places was the wrath of such conflicts as widespread, long-lasting and cut-throat as in China. The “Land of Dragons,” impacted harshly by the great wars of the Keybearers, broke into complete chaos, which lasted even after the breaking of the X-Blade. The wars would rage on with the fall of imperial order, with dozens of factions vying for control of the land; no one authority could hold its rule for very long before another made to usurp its power.
It was among the ferocity of changing authorities that Shalin was born. It was amid the violence and bloodshed that she was raised. The daughter of a lowly conscript in a village at the crossroads of the land, and thus at the epicenter of conflict. Between battles and constant military occupation, it was a miraculous feat for a girl so young to thrive as well as Shalin did. She would help the family as best she could, mostly with household work, and assisting her father as he prepared for his departures to various battle.
However, it would be in the heart of an attack on her village that her own destiny would be forged.
Shalin’s father was gone at the time; his company had been summoned to the defense of the imperial city. It was during this absence, with the town’s defenses minimal and unsuspecting, that a band of mercenary warriors attacked the village. The attack pending on the horizon, the villages remaining troops called to action all able-bodied men to its defense. The result was a bloodbath and a bonfire as people were slain and the village burned to ashes. The townsfolk fought valiantly, but proved no match; the soldiers redirected their efforts to ensuring the villagers’ safety as they retreated.
Enter Sun Yuande. A monk. A Keybearer. A veteran warrior of the Keyblade Wars. In a stroke of fortune, he was passing by the village at the time of its turmoil and rushed to its defense. He arrived to find himself too little too late, and most of the lives had been lost, and he found few combatants remaining. What he did find was a young girl, no more than ten years old, desperately fending off a trio of mercenaries with an all-too familiar weapon: a Keyblade, reminiscent of the notions of Yin and Yang. Immediately taking an interest in the girl, Yuande rushed to her aid, defeating the mercenaries.
“And by what name do you go, young girl?” he asked kindly to the cowering child, who still held her Keyblades up at the defensive.
“T-Ta Sha-Shalin,” the young girl said.
The rest fell swiftly onto the unwritten pages of history. Ta Shalin, at ten years old, became an apprentice to Sun Yuande. Under his tutelage she learned that her new weapon was a Keybalde. Under Yuande she also learned arts of magic, and combat. She followed Yuande faithfully for nearly seven years, until the fateful on which age and injury caught up with old master, calling him to the end of his days. Before his passing, however, he instructed Shalin to “seek a master who could complete the ‘unique’ training she would need to truly master her Keyblade practices.” He informed her of a planned gathering of Keyblade warriors to take place on a distant, world, and gifted her with what he called a “Star Shard,” which would allow her to travel to other worlds, and note that she was instructed was only for her new master’s eyes.
Believing that she would find a master that could complete her training at the gathering, she departed for Twilight Town...
