Bio: This Angron is from an Alternate universe where the Horus Heresy never took place. Instead of the Primarchs turning on their father, it was merely several of the legions that did so. Word Bearer Chaplain Erebus fell to the ruinous powers, dragging the Word Bearers, Ahriman and the Thousand Sons with him. After the Emperor's experiments to give humanity access to the Eldar Webway were disrupted, he was dragged into the Webway and has not been heard from since. To light the way for the Astropaths, Lorgar and Magnus, the two strongest psykers, take turns sitting on the Golden throne, each sitting for 100 years before trading places, he who doesn't sit on the throne leads the forces of the Grey Knights, and army made from Gene-seed from their father.
Angron did become a daemon, but not of his own accord. When approached by a Daemon, he was quick the slay the creature, he had languished under a cruel master from the beginning of his life and was not about to willingly subject himself to another. For 1,000 years, Angron and his World Eaters savaged the Galaxy, looking for any hint of this "Khorne" being so that he could end the pitiful fool once and for all... Unfortunately, the Butchers Nails in his forehead, the devices that drove him to lust for blood and gave him his immense fighting prowess were the devices slowly killing him. On what he thought to be his final battlefield, fighting alongside Lorgar as they battled his traitorous sons, the Word Bearers, Angron broke down, his mind almost completely gone. Naturally, the massive battle had caught the eye of the Blood God, Khorne. Khorne had been watching Angron for many millenia and wanted the bloodthirsty primarch as his champion. If Angron died without swearing allegiance, then his soul would be consumed by Slaanesh... With no other alternatives, Khorne summoned his ruinous power and granted Angron a new body.
Angron, having just struck down a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, fell to his knee's and accepted death. He could die knowing that Kharn would lead his men to victory... But, death wasn't what he expected, it was painful... Very painful... His body writhed, flesh exploded, blood poured from every orifice, he began to ascend into the sky, with one final splatter of red, his eyes opened and he stood, looking out at his brother, Lorgar and his World Eaters, the head of a Daemon Prince in his hand, his mouth opened and the most ungodly noise echoed. He looked down at himself. His body was... Inhuman... But, since he hadn't sworn fealty to Khorne, his mind was still his own.
Lorgar ran towards him, Maul in hand and began to attack, his Grey Knights joining him. Lorgar saw what Angron now was and knew that his brother had given himself to the ruinous powers of Chaos. Angron was overcome with the power that his new body possessed, he managed to incapacitate Lorgar and shouted to Kharn the truth, that he had been transformed against his will, Lorgar did not believe him, but Kharn did. After a bloody battle that saw the deaths of a lot of Grey Knights and World Eaters, both sides managed to retreat to their fleets.
Ever since then, Angron and the World Eaters have waged a bloody and endless crusade to find Khorne and kill him, to make him pay for what he has done.
Equipment:
Armour of Mars (Bright golden armour that protects him from most conventional weapons. Since he became a daemon, it became fused to his skin.
Gorefather (A Chain-Axe designed to cleave through flesh and metal alike, can easily cleave a tank in half.)
The Spite Furnace (A Plasma Cannon that is fused into the palm of his free hand. It cannot be fired too often or he risks severely burning his hand. Fired far too often and his hand could even set ablaze. If this happens, then it'll take several hours before it can be fired again. The cannon has a tell-tale sign of when it's about to fire, as the heat-radiators on the back of his gauntlet glow.)
Abilities:
Flight (Those massive wings of his allow him to take to the skies and fly at immense speeds.)
God of War (Before Khorne gave him his new body, he was considered one of the greatest fighters in the imperium. Now that his body is even larger, stronger and more resilient, this claim seems to have few desputing it.)
Sire of the World Eaters (Any World Eater Space Marine that he meets will feel compelled to obey him)
Universe of Origin: Warhammer 30k AU.
