Couple of questions:

How much time on the road? Accounting for his traveling fare. Related: Did Saran bring her own stuff, or am I making roadside bread and red beans for two?

Also, the gates to Two Stars - you mentioned that they were creaking and unattended. Does that mean that they are opened or closed?

And while I'm thinking about it, Keystone is looking for a decent sized area of exposed stone, worked or natural. Anything like that nearby?

The travel to Two Stars took you roughly 2 and a half days at full gallop, stopping every night to rest. As for supplies, my posts mentioned a large saddlebag ready to go when you left Avar's residence, so supplies for about a week are in there, counting on the both of you if you ration carefully. You've now got about 4 days worth of food and water left in addition to what you brought.

The gates are open, as is mentioned in the last post. Not wide open, but enough for the two of you to ride in side to side.

The foundation of the walls is set in stone and the majority of the low walls are worked granite. Most houses inside the town are made from stone(previous knowledge Keystone had).

You also know the locations of several masonry workshops in the town. None of them are very close to you at the moment.

I'm starting up a new set of classes and my job, so posting frequency will be greatly diminished, up to a minimum of 1/week. I'll do my best to make it twice per week minimum.

Ok, the long and short of it:

Keystone is here for answers and profit. If the town is deserted but supplies and valuables are available, he's not above looting. Not above, but not here specifically for it. So yeah, shops on the main thoroughfare, Inns, etc. Anything from smithies that can come in handy, such as rare metals, silver, cold iron, etc. Obviously looking for a pair of carts, or a good, solid wagon, carriage, pack haul, whatever is available.

With that in mind, we're not straying off the path too far in search of this, as it smells like potentially hostile territory.

Side note, Keystone is always on the lookout for something called Blackrock, though he hasn't had the opportunity to actually search for it so far in this campaign. It's a Dwarven metal that's supposed to be an amalgam of steel and granite, particularly useful in the hands of someone like our stoic protagonist due to his earthshaping abilities.

It does indeed, for the most part. I'll draft a response tomorrow.

Quick question:

The very description of the familiar figure in the fountain's basin is described as both a suit of armor and a statue. Could I get a bit of clarification on what can be observed about it?

It's a statue in the sense it's completely immobile, but it's not made of stone. Apart from the aura there's nothing odd about it.

Always looking to broaden the roster. I believe I speak for our benevolent GM when I invite you to fill out a CS for review here in the OOC.

CS can be found in the original OOC post.

The Character tab is to the right of the OOC tab. Descriptions of what is allowed are in the original post of this OOC. As to what PCs are active presently, that'd be just my character at the present - a Fighter, Pugilist Kit. He has the budding abilities of an Earth Cleric.

Mostly, it's all open.

i am gonna list a bunch of drafts and let you pick then use fifth edition character generater app on my phone to fill out the stats and such for the one you find most interesting.

Indra Erindreal / half-elf / wandering bard / ideals: believes he is but a story teller made to tell the story of a hero he will follow./ personality: Cowardly, sneaky, whimsical, mellow. / chaotic good. / male
Sionnie / Tiefling / rogue / ideals: seeking salvation from a destined end in hell for her ad her kin. seeks heaven./ personality: shy, reserved, untrusting, emotionally detached. / split personality (also called he inner demon) / chaotic good / female
Natsumi Iki / Human / monk / shares body due to being possessed by a kitsune (ironically she was trained in how to expel demon possession but can not get rid of it because kitsune are not demons) / personality: she is pretty generic, kind, patient, well mannered, the opposite of the fox spirit inside her. / lawful good / female
Brutas / orc / berzerker / ideals: seeks a beter future than war for his orc kin, but actually start out a villain until the hero convinced him he was on the wrong side. / personality: gruff, hard-headed, experienced, battle hardened. / lawful evil / male

So long as the last bit of the fight doesn't contain the words "Rectum" and/or "Chainsaw", I think we'll be ok.

@DMZ, any recommended reference material that you think would be most appropriate to Faerun and your story? It seems you could use an additional player character.
