@Lmpkio I didn't want to ruin the magic of Classic Doom, but I'll upload a more "modern version" for everyone else's benefit. It would make the most sense - will do it before I move him over.

@Archmage MC Want me to add them as subordinates?

Probably, but they don't take orders very well, lol. That or luietenits, although that being said they aren't really leaders and more frountliners or spec ops if that makes sense. (But not stealthy enough to work for spec ops.)

Yeah probably luietenits. They're a bit too strong to be subordinates. lol

Alright then. I'll have them up in a bit, as well as the others.

Powerups of the Damned - After slaying an enemy, there's a tiny chance that his foe's soul will become any one of these power ups. It's rare, but it does happen, and when it does happen, then everyone not aligned with him needs to run.

Is only Doom Guy able to pick these up or are allies able to pick them up too? That would make him a very useful asset, even more so than he is.

@Saint Girralo Er, I've not got a preference on that. I guess if Doomguy's actions created them, then only he could use them. However, it's up to the GM. I'm not fussed either or.

I imagine if Roy picked up certain power-ups it would be much like him using a philosophers stone to amplify his alchemy.

It's ultimately your choice. I'm fine with either way.

@Lmpkio Okay, then I'm going to say that yeah others can use them, but I might need to elaborate further on how they appear.

I might replace the ability with the "Aura of Doom", which means anyone within proximity of Doomguy (say fifty feet?), risks their soul becoming transformed into a power up on death. That way, it's localised and stops Godmodding, and doesn't mean that Doomguy has an entourage of people following closely behind so that they could ninja his hard earned trapped souls. Handy in a close quaters mayhem (such as the Classic Doom games are designed), but useless in strategic warfare.

How's that sound?

What about MC buffing him or his other spells?

@frengo Man, Doom Guy will either LOVE or HATE MC's Phoenix spell. xD

Second question regarding Doom Guy. Does Doom Guy have to kill them himself for the power-up to drop or can anyone kill them and cause it to drop?

Updated the ability. Now anyone who dies within fifty feet of him (barring some exceptions, such as important NPC/characters/plot related fluff) has a small chance to have their soul trapped as a power up. So, that goes for enemies and goodies. Whoever dies in that radius might become a power up, to be used by anyone who touches it.

It's as beautiful as it is chaotic.
