Strapped in his armour and wielding the mighty Kinzoku Gloves, Ken had gone out to complete his daily patrol of Ginmura. Rolling the lollipop around in his mouth, Ken was walking through one of the abandoned neighbourhoods of Ginmura. Today has been so boring! Guess there were no villains out that day. Ken was about to head back when a text come through on his cell phone. It was from SUPER, Terror-Wing has been spotted nearby. The text read that some E-Class called it in. Terror-Wing, A-Class villain. If Ken could get there and beat this guy... a grin spread across Ken's face.

Ken ran as fast as he could, mechanical whirring emitting from his gauntlets. They had to be close, they just had to be. Ken ran through the streets and alleys until a blood-curdling screech filled the sky. With that, Ken could pinpoint exactly where they were. The hero sprinted in the direction of the scream and soon enough, Ken got there. The E-Class was getting his ass kicked by the demon looking guy. Ken chuckled as he walked down the alley way. "Is this truly above the great Terror-Wing?" Ken taunted. Although it served no purpose, Ken looked like he was cracking his knuckles with his giant fists as he walked forward. "I expected so much more. But enough about you, huh? Let's focus on me, the guy who's about to kick your ass!" Ken taunted as he moved his arm clockwise a couple of times. Ken moved the lollipop from one side of his mouth to the other. "E-Class, get over here. We can take him on, no problem." He advised the other guy.

“Ah crap i'm going to die....” Usagi felt the terror of being beneath this demon and he didn't want any part of it, he wanted to run away, to hide, to flee like he was used to. But then it happened, another hero arrived and it was like a saving grace, something he could use as a distraction! With all his skills, he slipped from his leather jacket and out from under the foot of the distracted terrorwing, Though as he slipped out of his jacket, his mask slowly slipped back onto his face. “NOOO!” He thought before it finally fully attached itself.

"E-Class, get over here. We can take him on, no problem." He advised the other guy.

“OI! Don't call me E-class you bastard!” Kamen Usagi beat his chest, “The names Kamen Usagi! I'mma kick this demon's ass so far back to hell he ends up begging Enma to let him out!”

Valence Vaillant

Port District

Needless to say, Valence was furious at the idea of someone interrupting his plans yet again. He had suspected that the girl was a hero of some sort, and his suspicions turned out to be true as the girl identified herself.

"My name is Machine Doll Kiko... and I’m a hero!"

“I knew it! You idiotic heroes are always getting in my way!”

Valence wasn’t wrong; heroes often did get in his way. It was kind of the point, really.

“Whatever. I’m not about to let some random hero I don’t know stop my plans… again! After all, what’s a doll in comparison to a God?”

He was angry - but he wasn’t worried. His robots were powerful… at least in comparison to the average person; and there were like, five more of the footsoldier robots for “Kiko” to defeat, plus that ‘trump card’ that he was keeping within the submarine if things went awry.

“Robots, destroy this dweeb and get back to work!” Valence pressed the Universal Manipulator™ for the third time. The two robots near Kiko lunged forward with their weapons, and the other three footsoldier robots also moved into position to replace them should they fail in their attempt to "destroy" her.

Brutish beast that it was, CrocoKill did something rather surprising. Lunging to the side in an instant, instead of directly attacking it went around the armored hero, who was so immobilized by charging his weapon. In a surprising display of speed, it was upon the watching crowd. For their credit, the crowd was quick to disperse, pulling loved ones with them. But one, a little girl no older then eight or nine, stumbled, and the beast snatched her up to the screams of her mother. Tears welled up in her eyes as he raised her.

"Let me crack open that shell, human," CrocoKill snarled, "Or I'll rip her limb from limb. I wonder what she tastes like?"

"B-Buster F-Fist..." were the only words out of the terrified girl's mouth.

Port District

Maybe she was only D-Class... but she was still a hero! The jets on Kiko's armor activated, and she jetted backwards out of range of the swinging weapons, lifting off into the air as she did. Taking advantage of the moments it took for the robotic soldiers to recover, she raised one armored arm. The ports for her beam cannon whirred open, and a flurry of blue blasts erupted from it. They struck the robot over its chest and head, tearing through metal and causing an explosion to erupt from its head and chest, sending the smoking remains falling to the ground with a metallic thunk. Her boosters flared and sent her higher, narrowly avoiding an axe lashing through the air where she once was as she raised up higher.

Cutting her boosters, Kiko fell back down, the blue blade of her energy sword flaring to life. She might be D-Class, but...!

There was a flash, and a hiss of metal being cut by extreme heat, as she dropped back down onto the robot and cut it in half cleanly down the middle. But she wasn't done, there were more robots and... Wait. None of them seemed to have ranged weapons, and the civilians had fled already! So that meant...!

Kiko lifted off ground once more and jetted out towards the submarine, cruising high above the remaining three robotic knights' heads as she headed directly for the supercriminal.

"You know, if you worked with legal researchers, it would be a lot easier to get these materials!" she called to him as she approached, "We don't have to fight! If this is all you want, there's a lot of people who could help you!"

Alice Marlowe

Alice continued to eat her ice-cream, ignoring the glassing of the stray sand and the juvenile insults. This was a C-Rank villain, really? The flaming swords were a neat trick, Alice admitted, but otherwise she seemed to be a braggart with a modicum of actual fighting ability. Who the hell stood around to insult an enemy without at least preparing something?

For instance, her own spreading hair as it shot out and twisted, with various strands pointing at Irene from numerous directions. The build-up had been plainly telegraphed and yet got completely ignored, leading to Alice's next words to Radical X: "If she's still up, pin her."

From every side, the hair-drills darted in to pierce the sword-wielding villain, with their controller finishing off her ice-cream. By design, the thrusting had no rhythm yet avoided aiming for any absolutely-fatal wounds; having time to prepare and build up your strongest attack was good for casualty reduction.

Evan 'Sunshine' Smiles

Market District - Meiko Mart/Bank

I'm sure it is just nothing...

Just as he was about to take his leave, a young looking hero showed up and confronted the suspicious looking men, accusing them of carrying a concealed weapon of some sort. Evan had a confused look on his face overhearing this as he did not spot anything shady at first from his angle.

What is he talking about? I don't see anything...!..

At a second glance, he finally noticed the men were indeed hiding something underneath their coats. But what exactly?...

It has to be a gun! A bank robbery! Of course! It makes so much sense!

At that instant, Evan sprung out of his hiding spot to support the young hero not wanting him to do this alone. He ran up from behind and stopped right next to the boy, standing by his left side with one of his flippers pointing at the group of men issuing a polite warning to them.

"Not so fast! Another hero has arrived! I'm the B-Class Hero SunShine! Surrender your weapons please! That is all!"

Evan felt rather tense on what were underneath their coats, but not scared. It may have been a bad idea to give these guys a chance to 'show' what they were hiding, but he hoped they would cooperate and it all turns out to be a misunderstanding.

-Ellis Newman-

The Beach

Ellis was just about to complete charging his weapon, when suddenly he can see Crocokill going in for the crowd! He still stands his ground, only pointing his hands at the creature. If he were to be completely charged by then, he'll have to aim for his head. However, it would soon appear that this creature was much smarter then one would think. IN a matter of moments, he was faced with a hostage crisis! The beast snatches up a little girl, straight out of her mother's arms, and appears to being eying her hungrily!

"Let me crack open that shell, human," CrocoKill snarled, "Or I'll rip her limb from limb. I wonder what she tastes like?"

"B-Buster F-Fist..." were the only words out of the terrified girl's mouth.

Ellis was shocked. He couldn't believe it at first! Apparently this creature wasn't so dumb after all, for risking a hostage's life in the process! What should he do? Should he quickly fire? No, he shouldn't, for if he does, the creature would kill the girl as soon as he fired! Or worse, he would sacrifice her towards the oncoming beam! He has to act quickly, for the beam has just been charged up! It was a hard choice to make but...

"Bloody hell..." Ellis simply mutters as his hands began to quickly cool down.

The mech's palms began to return back to its normal state. However, as if the charge up required too much energy, the mech then grounded onto one knee, as if it used too much energy. Ellis would never harm or let any civilian be harmed when fighting a monster. That was not only against his own free will, but also not what SUPER would've wanted. As he continues to be on one knee, his primary objective now is to save the little girl from being slaughtered in front of her own mother.

"Fine..." he simply states with a defeated sigh, "You got me mate. I'm all yours as long as you let the little lassie go. Besides, I'm far more tasty then her. Trust me."

As Terror-Wing was about to kill the boy, he heard another voice behind him.

"Is this truly above the great Terror-Wing?"

A snarl emits from his maw as he turns around rapidly to face the newcomer that has dared to interfere. What he saw only made him grin and chuckle devilishly.

"Finally..." he hisses as he spreads his wings out, "A real hero finally arrives.

"I expected so much more. But enough about you, huh? Let's focus on me, the guy who's about to kick your ass!" Ken taunted as he moved his arm clockwise a couple of times.

This hero was pretty funky looking to Terror-Wing. Never mind the gigantic mechanical arms that it wielded, the real question was it a boy or a girl? Its facial regions and hair look quite feminine, even having a side mullet like one of those tomboys, yet the voice was masculine, as well as lacking in a... chest. A hiss of pleasure rippled through his mouth as he prepares himself in attack position. Finally, a real hero that will prove to be at most an equal challenge.

"E-Class, get over here. We can take him on, no problem."

“OI! Don't call me E-class you bastard! The names Kamen Usagi! I'mma kick this demon's ass so far back to hell he ends up begging Enma to let him out!”

However, before he could possibly finish, he would get whacked by the creature's tong tail, which would send him flying into a wall. The creature would laugh manically as he faces his new opponent.

"Forget that trash-bag of a hero!" he roars as he faces Ken with his venomous eyes, "I deserve a real challenge! Face me hero, for I've been dying for a real brawl! Prepare to be defeated!"

And with that, he fires several large plasma balls at his opponent. At long last, will he be fighting a hero much more worth his time.

“OI! Don't call me E-class you bastard! The names Kamen Usagi! I'mma kick this demon's ass so far back to hell he ends up begging Enma to let him out!” The rabbit masked man replied, before getting hit again. Would he be okay? It very much seemed like the E-Class was out of his depth, but Terror-Wing was very strong, A-Class to be exact. By ranking, Ken would lose the fight. However, that's just paper, and Ken isn't one to talk the talk without walking the walk. "Kamen!" He called out, to see if the guy would respond. He was one tough cookie if got through hit without being seriously dead.

Terror-Wing did give a brilliant speech, and much like Ken, he was very confident. "Bravo, Terror-Wing, you've successfully managed to beat up an E-Class hero. You've clearly shown your might and strength to me." Ken taunted sarcasticaly. Without pinpointing a weakness, Ken had a theory that if Terror-Wing would get riled up so much, he might act reckless. However, Ken didn't have much time to think as several energy attacks hurtled straight towards him. Ken threw up a classic boxing block, taking the brunt of attack. Ken might be overconfident, but, it seemed like there wasn't 100% of power in the attack. Plus, fighting from afar seemed very cowardly. Ken walked forward after the attack. "You think that's enough to stop Kinzoku Ken? I'm a B-Class hero, y'know?" He taunted yet again, pointing his thumb to himself. From a walk, Ken began to run, charging straight at Terror-Wing. When he got close enough, Ken winded up his right arm and went into a downwards right cross, aiming to strike at Terror-Wing.

Two more of his robots had been destroyed. Things were looking rather bad for Valence at this point, and it made him much more angry than he was before. What’s more, he hadn’t actually had the foresight to give any of his robots any ranged weapons this time, and he watched as Kiko simply dodged the melee attacks of his footsoldier robots with ease, and began to speed towards him.

He made a mental note to give his soldiers ranged weapons later. At this point in time though, it seemed that Kiko was trying to reason with him yet again.

“You know, if you worked with legal researchers, it would be a lot easier to get these materials! We don't have to fight! If this is all you want, there's a lot of people who could help you!”

“I don’t remember asking for a sermon! Those researchers pale in comparison to me!”

As the girl flew high above the heads of the robots to approach Valence directly, the young inventor took the initiative to hop off of the submarine and run behind one of the many crates that dotted the port. This was probably one of the few times someone thought to target Valence rather than his robots. To be fair though, he normally operated from his “secret laboratory” or whatnot, using monitors and screens in order to talk to (and insult) the various heroes that would stop him.

“Quit chasing me, dork! It’s against the rules! It’s illegal! It’s cheating!”

As Valence came up with various “justifications” as to why Kiko shouldn’t target him, he decided it was time to use that “secret weapon” that he had been keeping within the submarine. He pressed the touchpad of the Universal Manipulator™ frantically, causing a rumbling to sound from within the submarine, followed by several stomps and clangs. From the submarine appeared the final robot, significantly larger than the footsoldier robots prior. It had no hands, and was instead equipped with two guns in the place of gauntlets. This was the “Crusader Bot” - and a prototype of it at that. The metallic being crashed onto the port from the submarine, began to aim toward the Machine Doll during her flight - and prepared to start firing.

The movement of hair was extremely obvious, but what are you to do when it is more fun aggravating people? The thing was, Irene did prepare, kind of. Glassing a piece of sand was 'proof of concept' for an idea she had. The Hairy woman did seem to be getting a little peeved, but not enough for what she had planned.

Irene started by kicking up sand with weapons, it took little time for the huge dust cloud to form. The hair tendrils were then firing at her...or where she was! 'Haha! Stupid Hero! It would never be that easy!' She gave herself a mental pep talk as she out of the aiming point. 'Now time for the next part of my plan!' Irene focused on the illusion of the sounds and feeling of combat coming from the cloud. To the Hairy lady, it would feel like the hair was being sliced at by flaming blades, and eventually the feeling of piercing her in several non vital locations.

As the cloud began to start clearing, Irene used the invisibility Rune, ensuring that all the hairy lady could see was the illusion of her victory. But now there was the small dilemma of how to attack: She could sneak up slowly until it was too late to be stopped, she could use glass to flash light in her enemies eyes- temporarily blinding her and allowing for a blitz attack-, or maybe even just launch shards of glass at her from a range. 'I'll just see what she does and decide from there.'

"GAAHH! I Am too weak! I surrender! She appears to shout from the cloud of dust.

Kiko frowned. This guy did seem pretty smart, since he made all these robots and stuff by himself, no less, but... there were a lot of researchers who were super smart, too! After all, there were all kinds of heroes who relied on science, including herself! That meant there had to be a lot of really smart researchers, didn't there? Kiko nodded firmly to herself. Besides, there was also the ultimate proof that there were a lot of smart people in science...

"Just because you're smart doesn't mean other people aren't!" she called to the supercriminal, "Researchers at the Kimura Institute made me! And onee-san! So there's no way they wouldn't be able to help you out!"

Even as she attempted to call to him, he was... running away? The robot girl adjusted her course to pursue him behind one of the many crates littering the port. At least, until she heard the rumbling and clanging from the now-abandoned submarine. Glancing back over, Kiko watched in surprise as an enormous robot erupted from the ship, and slammed right into the port. Too slowly she attempted to evade its aim, and the roar of bullets slammed into her. Thankfully, her synthetic skin and armor was designed to be incredibly resistant, and beneath at skin was a lightweight, yet strong alloy. However, the impact of the bullets all across her body was sharp and strong, and Kiko let out a yelp as she was knocked off-course and sent slamming into the ground, tumbling end over end.

Market District

Oh, why did she make the armor so hard to use with clothing? Well... of course she knew why, because in order for it to synch with her body using the components she had available, and for it to fit well, she had to, well... she packed up a bodysuit she'd made just for this purpose, but she had to find somewhere to put it on... and it was so hard to find somewhere to change! At least she had actually packed a change of clothing up that would work with the armor this time... really, she should have thought ahead and just worn the bodysuit under her clothes to start with... Reika finally found a spot to duck into, darting behind some cover and taking a deep breath.

No body find her no body find her no body find her...

Meanwhile, the suit-wearing man looked between each other, surprised. Each was rather gruff-looking, save for one, who had rather slim, slighter features, like one would expect from some kind of heartthrob actor, and somewhat longer brown hair.

He sighed.

"Our cover's blown, boys," he said, simply. With that, he tore off his coat. The other men followed suit, but they didn't have any ordinary weapons under those jackets. Each one was clad in a heavy set of power armor, angular shapes concealing their bodies.

The man who'd spoken first grinned.

"Let's dance."

Speaking of power armor, Reika took several deep breaths. She'd managed to change without being spotted! There was just one more part remaining... stuffing her clothing in her bag, she rummaged through to get out the trigger...

Hiroshi was originally very psyched up to handle something as simple as armed robbery. You see, guns are very simply to psychic away! They’re not a part of the body, so it’s not like he has to try extra hard to pull them away from people or anything. It was supposed to just be a matter of making sure none of them went off is all. (Which, he had to admit, was harder since bullets are much smaller and go a bit too fast to readily focus on.) Another hero stepped in after him and… oh shoot, he’s B-Class? Good thing he showed up first! He might have gotten shooed off if it was the other way around… Well, either way, with the two of them together they could bag these guys like a piece of ca—

Hiroshi was not ready for what these (mostly) gruff men were actually hiding beneath their coats. Those… Those weren’t guns. Those were not guns. Of course they couldn’t just be guns! A sweat drop slid down the side of Hiroshi’s face as he recalled one of his favorite ways to describe Ginmura. “It’s always fucking crazy here.”

Alright, alright, don’t panic now… Losing face is the moment you lose the fight, and he staunchly refused to lose against people who would rob a bank. With super powered suits no less! These people were even worse than school cheaters in his mind, since they took their cheating into life. Alright… That seemed like sufficient motivation to not make him turn tail right then and there. Cheaters don’t go unpunished in his mind, no matter who they are.

“You think being all big and bulky’s gonna scare someone— a hero like me?!” he boldly proclaimed as he picked his frisbee off his belt, “I’m Psycho Spiral and we’re gonna take you all in!”

Yeah there was no way this wasn’t going to go badly for him.

Power armor?!...Gah!

Evan was quite surprised to see the men were not hiding weapons, but power armor underneath their coats! There was no telling what they can do now! Each member of the group looked like they were itching for a fight. It was wishful thinking that this was going to end peacefully. Oh well...Evan took a step forward being in front of the young hero while he recollects himself after the big revealing.

"Hey...Psycho Spiral, let me engage first..."

He whispered, thinking it was best to figure out what their opponents were capable of. Not to mention, he believed Psycho Spiral would be able to figure out an elaborate plan or follow up to his upcoming attack. Evan slipped his hands out of his sleeves, revealing they were coated with his solar energy the moment they came out. Two golden fireballs were formed in each hand, which were about the size of a basketball.

"You better hope those things are fire resistant!"

He shouted, really hoping they weren't fire resistant otherwise they would be in deep trouble. He then tossed the fire balls at the two closest men among the group, aiming directly for their chests wondering what their reaction will be.

Aya Kagamine

Port District

As usual, the beach was bustling with civilians. With the sun shining over with its blinding summer light, it was the perfect day to be out and about in Ginmura. It was about time Aya took some time out of the apartment, especially when the weather was as good as this.

She decided not to, though.

Maybe staying up late on that one piece of artwork wasn't such a good idea after all. At this rate, if she was to continue these late night acts, Aya would slowly transform into a coffee obsessed vampire.

"Screw it, I'm resting up for today…" she muttered, her unusually deep voice muffled by the pillow.

The tower of water that had just appeared from the nearby port said otherwise, though.

"…Fuck."

Stupid villains. Damned monsters. Why of all days did they have to come and wreck things for the Ginmura citizens? Couldn't everyone just have one week of peace without… things destroying the place and causing havoc in all the districts?

Well, that was the world, so Aya had to cope.

The port district wasn't that far from her apartment, so hopefully she wouldn't be too exhausted to kick some evil monster butt. Pulling a white hoodie over her head, Aya rushed out of her door, bag slung over her shoulder. She flipped over the metal stair rails, and in about thirty seconds she was already at the bottom.

Huh. Who knew the giant torrent of water would reveal a giant metal, uh, robot? A poorly painted one at that, too.

Well, at least she was here now. It seemed that someone had already started the job off for her, but there wouldn't be any harm in finishing it off, right?

“Quit chasing me, dork! It’s against the rules! It’s illegal! It’s cheating!”

Ah, there it was. Shots of lime green, black and yellow clouded her eyes. Valence's voice wasn't one that Aya was particularly fond of. In fact, those colours and the way they appeared ticked her off.

"Oi, Val. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

The woman sat on top of one of the crates, flipping a red can in her right hand. A cocky, somewhat creepy smile crossed her face, her dark red eyes gleaming in the sunlight.

"You know, the paint jobs on those crazy tall robots seem to be getting shittier by the week. Seriously, it's not just the durability of your metal minions that need improving."

"You think that's enough to stop Kinzoku Ken? I'm a B-Class hero, y'know?"

Terror-Wing simply grins devilishly as his mouth continues to smoke orange-yellow fumes from his plasma attack.

"I'm just getting alllll warmed up." he hisses while still keeping his temper. He isn't fazed by a real hero's taunts. Only those who call themselves heroes like Kamen, are those that bug him.

From a walk, Ken began to run, charging straight at Terror-Wing. When he got close enough, Ken winded up his right arm and went into a downwards right cross, aiming to strike at the monstrous creature. However, the creature just simply hopped back at the move, dodging with with ease. He needs to find a way to rip through the hero's mechanical arms so he'll render him vulnerable to attack. If he gets too close, Terror-Wing will be at risk at getting KOed with one of those punches, so he'll need to concentrate on ranged attacks. Once he weakens his arms, he'll then go in for the kill. Thankfully for him, not only does he have plasma balls that he can fire, but also another thing the hero doesn't seem to have.

The power of flight.

Perhaps after a few more attempting jabs and/or punches, Terror-Wing would take to the air and flies in place while chuckling at Ken's attempts. He would attempt to fire several more plasma balls, these being slightly stronger, as he flies around the hero.

Radical X was not affected at all by the the crabs as generally speaking crabs don't just appear. When the white haired lady started her attack the woman wielding the swords with her hair the villain swept up dust to form a sand cloud Radical X responded quickly by putting on his goggles. He looked through the sand and saw movement. It could not be the white haired lady as she was standing right next to him. He shifted his weight to his maximum X10 and followed the distortion in the sand cloud as he was walking He heard "GAAHH! I Am too weak! I surrender!"

He would not be so easily fooled no one who had the advantage would just give up. When he finally came up to the sword wielding villain he punched her in the face while yelling "Radical Punch X10!" the dust began to settle. "Next time try not to be to obvious" he said with a smirk.

Terror-Wing was aggressive but smart. Using the sky to his advantage, Terror-Wing blasted more energy at Kinzoku Ken. However, having no response from Kamen Usagi, Ken's new goal was to move Kamen to a safer location. Ken used his right fist to block the energy balls as he moved to where he remembered Kamen getting hit. After all the energy balls were shot, Ken used his free hand to grab a chunk of stone from one of the abandoned houses. Ken twisted around, winding his left fist back, and as he faced the demon, Ken shot putted the rubble towards Terror-Wing's position. There was definitely more power in the blasts, but Ken's fists were built to last, and have blocked missiles before. Although, to be honest, Ken didn't want to keep blocking energy blasts forever. Ken saw Kamen on the floor and had to try and get his attention. "Hey! Wake up, Kamen!"

The power armored men, upon seeing the fireballs, immediately dodged apart from one another, narrowly avoiding the fireballs. In total, there were ten power armored men. Six, including the hearthrob movie star-like one, were now focusing on the heroes. The other four were rushing the bank. After all, they didn't have much time now that a couple of heroes had showed up. If the fight went on too long, it was pretty likely more would show up, wasn't it? The one who'd spoken stepped back, allowing the rest to leap forward.

"Take this, you bastards!" one cried, slamming his foot down. Concrete splintered in a line towards the two heroes, a shockwave radiating out from the impact of his power-armored foot. The other power armor-clad bankrobbers rushed forward on the sides, trying to flank the hero pair.

Until one of them took a direct punch to the cheek from the side. The impact sent the man tumbling end over end with a series of metallic clanks, sparks flying as he skidded across the concrete. Why weren't they wearing helmets, exactly? That would have prevented this exact situation. Regardless, he rolled one more time before coming to a halt.

Reika felt her hoverskates shoot out from under her as she landed, frantically attempting to regain her footing and force them beneath her for a few moments. She had entered from the right while the armed guys were distracted, and did her best to take one out by jumping in and drop-punching him in the face! She really hoped it had worked... ... And then one of the powered armored criminals lunged at her, swinging a fist. She slid backwards rapidly with a yelp as it swung past her helmeted face, then zipped to the side and around the group. That one guy wasn't getting up. She'd heard him groan and twitch, but now he was just laying there. She'd knocked him out cold with her surprise attack!

That sure was a bit of a confidence boost! She couldn't see an opening for an attack, now that their eyes were on her, but she could reposition herself! She took a quick turn and hovered around behind them, taking a deep breath before interposing herself on the other side of them, in a hope to get the attention of the four who were rushing the bank, too.

"I'm..." Reika took a deep breath. This part made her nervous even after the first time... "... I-I'm AkaRocket! I might be an amateur, but I'm still a hero!"

Unlike the previous footsoldier robots, the Crusader Bot had managed to hit Kiko with a barrage of bullets. The telltale yelp in addition to audible sound of a person hitting the ground told Valence that Kiko had been knocked down by the barrage.

This definitely reinforced the idea that he needed to give his footsoldiers more ranged weaponry - but that was for another time.

The remaining footsoldier robots took the opportunity to approach Kiko while she was down, and were preparing to strike at her again. As of now, the Crusader Bot prototype coupled with the remaining footsoldiers seemed like they were a match for the opposing D-Class hero, but Valence wasn't quite convinced that he would win this round; she’d probably just fly over the robots again or something. The robots had managed to load a low but still suitable amount of materials into the submarine, and he could just rebuild the ones that were destroyed back at the lab.

Yep, now would be a good time to esca—

“Oi, Val. It's been a while, hasn't it?”

Valence turned around to see Aya sitting atop one of the crates, she was one of the many heroes that have stopped Valence’s schemes in the past.

“Ugh, It’s the stupid paint monkey!”

“You know, the paint jobs on those crazy tall robots seem to be getting shittier by the week. Seriously, it's not just the durability of your metal minions that need improving.”

“Whatever! Just wait until my next robot attacks this idiot city, it’ll look amazing while it does it!”

The young inventor ran from behind one of the crates to the back of another, aiming to avoid both of the heroes.

“You should be more focused on surviving this!”

Pressing the the touchpad once more, Valence commanded the Crusader Bot to aim for both of the heroes, directing each of its arms to fire at both the grounded Kiko and a sitting Aya.

With all the commotion going on around her, Kiko was quick to react. Just laying there wasn't what a hero did at all! Using her boosters to speed up the process, she launched back to her feet, switching them into a lower power mode with a whir and a hum, as opposed to the subtle roar of their usual activity. She quickly glanced towards the other hero, as the bigger robot was aiming at the both of them. She might be a hero... but... dodging was really hard from a position where you were sitting on the ground!

So Kiko did the only thing that could come to mind. Turning up her thrusters, she rocketed away from the smaller robots, cruised towards the other girl, and made a bid to tackle her out of the line of fire.

If she was a less impulsive robot girl, she might have realized this was probably unnecessary. But Kiko tended to act before thinking.
