Midday, Sunday, Ginmura

The sun was brilliantly shining down on Japan's Silver City. Given it was the warmer months, many people were out on the streets, or on the beach, going about their daily lives without much worry. They talked, swam, ran errands, went on dates, did homework, worked... It was, of course, a day like any other. There wasn't anything particularly special occurring. At least, for the moment. Unfortunately, in such a world, there was always a risk of things suddenly changing. In a world where there were superheroes and supercriminals, monsters and the unknown, a normal day ran the risk of very suddenly becoming very abnormal in the blink of an eye. And yet, whenever this happened, the citizens of Ginmura turned their eyes upwards.

The SUPER Building stood, an imposing monolith towering over many other buildings in Ginmura. There were various rumors about it, few of them particular malignant given it was literally the base that superheroes operated out of. They ranged from it being built out of indestructible materials, to it being even bigger on the inside, to it actually being capable of flight. None of these were totally out of the question, not in a world like this.

Inside the imposing building, agents bustled about, busying themselves with their duties, monitoring anything unusual, keeping steady contact with any heroes on patrol. Some heroes, as well, were bustling about and interacting with the agents. This was, of course, mostly in the lower levels. At the moment, a level above where most of the heroes would have been, there was a single hero. She leaned over one of the agents, floating behind him with a look of irritation on her face.

The agent knew better then to complain by now.

The diminutive girl pouted and folded her arms, drifting back.

"It's all pathetic," she complained. "There's nothing they'll deploy me for!"

The agent didn't respond.

Instead, he kept monitoring potential situations, while the girl huffed behind him. It was all he could do to avoid being viciously insulted, and even that might not help him.

Besides, just what was going on...?

Market District

It kind of felt weird, now. Not just because people were looking at her... though that was a big reason! The girl with dark red hair blushed slightly as she tried to sink into her shirt, somehow. It was the tradeoff... move faster using the hoverskates, but get more attention, or miss out on good deals and stuff she could get for her parents, and... get way too much attention... but the hoverskates always felt so liberating! But today, all the looks she got weren't what was bothering her. Well, they were, but people always kept looking on account of the fact that there was a smallish girl rapidly floating along using a pair of armored boots.

No, the real issue for Aoyama Reika is that this was the first time she went shopping after that night. She'd heard what was happening, gathered all the courage inside of her, and gone. He'd been... he was a madman, he was trying to kill people. It was terrifying. But at the same time... she was a hero, right? So she had to fight! And she'd done it! He'd hit her but she'd only gotten a few bruises, and she'd knocked him out cold! A surge of pride warmed Reika's heart at the memory of one of her gauntlets slamming, hard, into his chin, knocking him off his feet and out cold. But the rest of the memory quickly followed. About how the SUPER agents had been showing up... and she'd run away. She had an opportunity! ... Even if she probably wasn't worthy of it... she'd still almost had a moment! But... they were going to talk to her and everything and it was just... just too much!

"... Ah jeez!" Reika cried, unable to contain herself. Realizing, quickly, she had said this out loud and garnered a great deal of attention, she slowly lowered, blushing in embarrassment at all the sets of eyes on her. However, they quickly went about her business, allowing Reika to continue onward. The grocery store she preferred was just up ahead. Now that she had the hoverskates, it was a lot easier to get there, wasn't it?

The store was fairly simple. It was called 'Meiko Mart' for whatever reason, and sold a lot of decent food and ingredients. Sometimes they had really good sales, too... like today! But she had to beat other people there... and that's where her hoverskates came in! ... Still, part of her mind was on the missed opportunity... it was even worse because Reika couldn't overcome her anxiety about attempting to just... go up to the SUPER building and try to register... it was too big and scary!

But she wanted to be a hero. She really, truly did.

So lost in thought was the redheaded girl that she didn't notice the rather shady looking people in oversized long coats hanging around nearby... and had never paid much attention to the fact that Meiko Mart was right across from a bank.

The Beach

On the beach, the place where things should arguably be at their most idyllic, things were in fact quite the opposite. Screams of various people in various swimsuits, from adults to children, echoed across the sands as the thing rose from the water. It was vaguely crocodalian, and as it turned its eyes to the fleeing beach-goers its lips parted in a wide grin, displaying a set of razor sharp teeth.

"Ahahaha!" it roared with laughter, throwing its head back, "Yes, fear, fear the world's new top predator, the invincible CrocoKill!"

It lunged forward, plunging up onto the beach and out of the water, sniffing the air. "Haaa... what to make my first meal? These beasts all look so delicious... but aren't the younger ones sweeter?"

Its yellow eyes centered on a small middle school girl with black braids in her hair, who had fallen over in the struggle to flee. He licked his lips, striding closer...

As it drew closer, the Beach District was issued an annoucement through the city's communication system.

"All civilians, please be aware there is a Downpour-Class threat currently active in the Beach District. Heroes are en route."

The World! Filled with crime and despair! But Worry not there is a hero! A man of justice! A man who fights for the people! He is... Justice Rider!

Usagi sat in front of his TV, eating a nice bowl of udon as he watched his favorite program, Justice Rider! “Hahaha... Get him!” He chuckled, slurping down the noddles. He was an adult now, free from his mothers house, but... a Ronin, that's right! Usagi was avoiding college like the plague, because he didn't wish to put any more financial burden on his mother. As he sat there, enjoying his anime and his noodles, his phone began to ring.

The tone was that of his favorite singer, Haraki Maito, a popular idol, this meant it must be his mother calling. “Hello!” Usagi answered cheerfully. “Hello dear! How are you doing this evening?” Yes! It was his mother after all... though it wasn't as though he received many phone calls. “Oh, I'm doing well! How are you mom? Are you alright? Did you get the money I sent?” He could hear his mother chuckle on the other end. “Yes dear, but you should save that money for yourself! Hero's only make so much you know!”

He knew his mother was concerned but, she shouldn't be, he had his own place after all. “I'm fine mom! I eat well! I promise! I have everything I need!” The room he sat in was covered in Anime and video games... and empty convenience store food containers. “Well good! So have you done your heroing for today?” A cold chill ran down his spine, heroing!? That's right! He has to do heroic deeds every day doesn't he!? He'd forgotten all about it! Oh... Oh this was bad!

“Hahaha... Of course I did!” He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head, trying to hide the truth. “Your mother knows when you're lying you know!” He could feel the anger from the other end of the phone. “No... I haven't...”He let out a dejected sigh, “Well get to it! You're needed out there! Go be a hero!” Usagi nodded, “Yes mom...” “I love you dear.” “Love you too.” Usagi hung up the phone and looked towards his mask.

“Wellp... Time for Kamen Usagi I guess.” His hands shook a bit as he reached for the mask. “Nnngh... I really don't wanna do thiiiisss.....” His hand gripped the mask and with a deep breath he put it on... “KAMEN USAGI IS HERE!!!” He threw off his robe and rushed to the closet, “Time to teach some bastards a lesson!”

It was a pretty nice day, all things considered. Even a person who was a bit of a shut in found the day to be fairly pleasant. Which was why she was currently doing some shopping while there was a sale going on to stock up on junk food, soda, and perhaps the occasional bit of food that was healthy. She was likely going to throw those out, but eh. Who knows. She might decide to not eat cheap ramen and noodles for once.

Not entirely likely.

Now, the young 'villain' if she could be called that, was simply minding her own business, intending to get gone and back home. Her mom was probably going to be stopping by for a visit soon, as much as she hated dealing with her mom. The woman made her life hell every time she came to visit. Always going on about her getting into too much trouble and teasing her about getting a boyfriend or something. Ugh. Even if she had a boyfriend she'd never tell her mom.

People thought fathers were bad about their daughters and dates? Her mom was ten times worse then anything her dad could conjure up. Then again, he was the suave well-liked businessman, and her mom was an ex-super villain. She supposed being scary came with the territory. Thoughts for later now.

For now, she needed food.

At least, that's what she was planning on doing until she saw some shady guys in some long coats.

...well, this had trouble spelled all over it. Would be interesting to watch, eheh. Too bad she didn't have her gear with her at the moment or she'd definitely love to play with some supers should they be called here...

Well, her apartment wasn't that far away, and if she was quick, she could make it. So the girl turned, and started off towards her home at a light jog.

Irene was having a nice day on the beach. Sunbathing, taking in the nice environment, soaking up the laughter of the other beach-goers...it was all absolutely sickening. People had such joy, such naivety, completely oblivious to such a powerful Super Criminal sitting with them. She had fun by occasionally making it seem like a crab had crawled near someone, or a shark was out in the water. Those were some good laughs, then some monster had to come along and ruin it!

Her instinct to grab her swords was cut off by not having any where to hide them, and thus not having them. She instead took the small horn that hung from her necklace and blew into it, sending out a nigh unhearable sound. She retreated back closer to the city and waited; a cloaked figure soon showed up bearing a package of her armor and swords. She slipped away into the crowd of frightened people until finding a place to gear up without being noticed.

Being not-a-hero meant that she didn't feel obligated to fight the threat. She instead stood far off from the beast and waited for a hero response. The weapons were for self-defense in case of monster and/or hero. A smarter or more adept villain could use this distraction to fulfill some nefarious deed, but Irene wanted to enjoy the show-of-a-fight she would get from here.

A message just came in, some criminal associates wanted her help for a job. They talked about big money, this being the perfect distraction, and Irene's help would go much farther than standard criminals. "Thanks but no. I am here to watch a fight. Some other time? Maybe, but this is going to be good." The response was sent and she deactivated incoming communications.

But before that villainous crocodilian creature can get his crummy little claws on the young school girl, he would get hit by an incoming plasma beam right at his back. It would've most likely have been nothing more but a simple scratch, but it was rather to get the beast's attention. The host of said beam would be found standing near the creature slowly as a seven foot mech unit, its center palm already smoking from the beam it just fired. A hero has just arrived on the battlefield, for he was Ellis Newman, or commonly referred heroically as "Buster-Fist".

"Oi!" the man calls out from within the suit in a slight British accent, "Get your buggering little claws off her you bloody monster! Stand down under the might of "Buster-Fist", or I'll give you an arse whooping of justice myself!"

And he meant it of course. He was piloting in a highly-advanced mech armor that he made himself from his freshmen years in high school, till he was in his second year in college. This means he very well knows how to use this suit to its advantage, with his opponent being at least the same stats as his suit, only more organic of course. This was going to be fun, that's for sure.

Abandoned Ginmura Neighborhood - South Region

10 years ago, this very neighborhood was a beautiful and calm little area for middle-class citizens, with lots of trees and nice-looking houses. The roads and sidewalks were kept very tidy and had little kids often playing ball, or tag, or some other activities here. Overall, it was a pleasant place to be. Now after a now deceased monster managed to scare off the region's population, it has been nothing more but a ruined ghost town, with falling apart buildings and dark alley ways. It was a place that is very ideal for a villain to hideout in.

Especially if your someone named Radon Yazama, an A-Class villain that usually lurks in the dark alleys during the day and comes out at night to travel stealthily around the city. It also happens to be a place where heroes often travel through or two, but very few ever leave to tell the tale. That's because the heroes will often encounter Radon himself and then get brutally murdered and pulled away to never be seen again. These heroes are often E to C classes, who are quite inexperienced against a stealthy hunter as Radon himself, but once a B-Class hero came in and also happened to get mauled by the villain, who like the others were covered in brutal scratches and some burnt marks.. However, he was lucky to make it out alive, being one of the only few to tell the tale. And yet... Radon looks nothing more than a regular guy with a face mask.

Lurking inside an abandoned building, the said person was just sitting around lazily around the living room area, with three rotten corpses displayed around the area. One is found on the sofa, another on the stairs leading to the second floor, and one laying down on the floor leading to the kitchen area. These were just half of the heroes Radon had murdered in cold blood, but either way he isn't interested in hunting them. He often kills them simply because they invaded his territory and he doesn't like strangers knocking on his doorstep. He's a solitary person, while also being very psychotic in his twisted mind, but also incredibly intelligent and cunning. He looks out a dusty window to see if anyone is passing through. If they happen to be so, he'll be ready for murdering another intruder who dares to cross into his territory...

Kamen Usagi, dressed in his finest battle leathers, marched out the door of his apartment; bat slung over his shoulder. “Alright, Time to put down some punks!” He didn't bother taking the steps down from the second floor, instead he leaped over the edge; falling to the ground and landing in a crouched position, keeping the bat over his shoulder. “Ain't no one getting away from my education today.”

---

After a while, Kamen Usagi had wandered a good portion of the residential area and so far not a single crime was to be seen. “Am... Am I going to get kicked out...” He had taken his mask off, as it gets quite hot wandering around with it on all the time. “I... I can't get kicked out... I can't work a normal job!!!” He was doubled over, one hand resting on the side of a building while the other gripped his chest, trying to contain his beating heart.

“Come on... Come on! There's gotta be a crime I can stop! Somewhere! There's gotta be!” He took a deep breath and put his mask back on. “Arraaaa!!! COME ON OUT YOU JERKS!” He dashed quick as he could looking through each and every alley way he could, but there wasn't a single thing he could find that was worthwhile.

“Jaywalkers, litter bugs... I don't care about that useless stuff! I want something good! Something worth while!!!” He growled inside his mask...

But then it struck! Something... Worth his time!

“So you got the stuff.” Two men looking rather shady standing in an alleyway with another man, completely hidden with a hood and mask. “Oh... Oh this is just what i've been waiting for!”

Valence Vaillant

Port District

Almost every day in Ginmura was packed with some amount of action. Today was no exception. Despite there already being an attack on the beach by a monstrous crocodile, there was also an assault occurring in the harbour, which wasn't too far away from the beach, but was still quite a long trek regardless.

From the ocean, there was a large amount of frothing and bubbling. It started of quite small, and unnoticeable, but as the bubbling grew, the nearby dockworkers noticed and called others to witness the curious spectacle. By this time, the bubbling had become particularly intense, and it had already becoming extremely worrying, under the assumption that it was a monster attack, the dockworkers began to flee the scene to safety, and as soon as the bubbling had started, it just suddenly stopped. There was a brief moment of joint relief.

Then he arrived.

The previously-bubbling location shot out a large geyser, the torrent of water shooting up a large metallic figure into the air, which came crashing down back into the water.

This metallic figure wasn't a monster, nor was it a robot. It sure looked like one though. It was in fact, a submarine. It was around 120 metres, coloured silver and modelled to resemble a shark. As the submarine approached the docks, the workers become wary once more.

“What is that?”

“Is it a monster?”

“That paint job is terrible.”

“WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT THE PAINT JOB?!”

The “mouth” of the submarine shark opened, revealing a blue-haired teenager who stepped onto the port. He was clearly angry about what that one dock worker had said about the paint job of the submarine, but the boy quickly regained his composure for the sake of addressing the people at the port.

“Ahem… Afternoon, stupid citizens!”

This boy was Valence; the hot-headed genius inventor and B-Class villain. Among the various villains that plagued the progressive city of Ginmura, Valence was one of the most notable. Most heroes (and civilians) “knew” Valence to some degree, some would have heard of him once or twice from random conversations, while others would have actually faced (and probably stopped) him and his plans in the past. Many villains too were aware of Valence’s existence and vice versa, although Valence wasn't familiar with most of the villains that were active as of this moment.

The dockworkers didn't respond to Valence’s greeting. They simply stared in bewilderment.

“Tough crowd. Anyway, I'm sure you’re all wondering why I'm here, right?”

There was no response. Valence continued with his monologue anyway.

“I'm running low on supplies. I can’t make weapons or robots of mass destruction without supplies.”

With that, Valence motioned towards the various warehouses that were dotted around the port.

“Surrender your materials! Or don’t—I’ll take them anyway.”

Valence pulled out from his pocket what looked to be a wristwatch—except it lacked the traditional features of one. This was the “Universal Manipulator™.” Despite the name, the Universal Manipulator™ was really just a controller that Valence used to command his machinery most of the time; normally the robots. The Universal Manipulator™ only actually had like, one large button that glowed in a blue hue. This button was more of a touchpad, honestly; that explained why it was able to manipulate more than one machine.

It’s way better if you don’t question it, honestly.

Valence strapped the Universal Manipulator™ around his wrist, and pressed the button touchpad. As he did this, audible clangs and whirrs could be heard from within the submarine shark. Several robots began to well out of the “mouth” of the submarine. The robots were Valence’s typical fighting force, modelled after knights and wielding energy-based weapons such as lances, swords and axes. There were six of these “footsoldier” robots in total.

At this point, the dockworkers had began to flee (finally), prompting Valence to begin his operation.

“Take as much as you can and load it into the submarine.”

With that command, the footsoldier bots began to break into the warehouses, gradually bringing out and opening the various crates within. He wanted this to be finished quickly; the danger class announcement would sound soon. The young inventor looked over to the rest of the city and sighed.

“Preferably before those idiot heroes arrive..”

It was hard to keep focused on a lot of things, thinking about the opportunity that she'd missed out on. And... well, at least she wasn't focused on all the people starting at her... Reika's eyes were rather downcast, even as she approached Meiko Mart. Of course, she was moving rather quickly given her hoverskates, and fast movement combined with not looking where you were going was generally a recipe for disaster. Reika let out a yelp as she collided with... something, her hoverskates keeping her upright even as she almost fell over onto her rear. Forcing her legs back into cooperation, and ensuring she was stable after a few moments, the dark redheaded girl looked up to see what she'd bumped into. Or rather, who.

It was another girl, one she definitely didn't know. Short, grey-ish hair, blue eyes... frantically, Reika made to apologize.

"I-I'm s-sorry! I d-didn't... I w-wasn't... i-it's my fault I'm s-sorry..." Reika trailed off after a few moments, looking down and away. It was embarrassing... and it really was all her fault. She hadn't been watching where she was going, and she'd knocked right into the other girl like that. She hoped she hadn't somehow hurt her, at least... that would be terrible. She was supposed to be a hero, even if she wasn't doing anything heroic right now. Reika didn't want to hurt some random person... it was really, really wrong if she did!

"... A-are you okay?"

The Beach

Just as CrocoKill was about to swipe one clawed hand down and shred the schoolgirl to ribbons, something struck it in the back. With a snarl, it whipped around, fanged maw dripping saliva. The braided schoolgirl took this opportunity to stumble to her feet and run into the waiting arms of her parents, who quickly fled.

"Raagh... are you a hero...?" it cocked its head to the side, eyeing the armored figure with some level of confusion amidst its rage. "I didn't know that humans came with exoskeletons... do you taste like crab under there? Rrrgg... let's find out!"

The humanoid crocodilian creature lunged forward with a roar. Of course, it had never seen power armor before. It simply assumed that humans came in forms with shells, now.

Port District

There were people in danger at the port...

The blonde girl took a deep breath. Of course, technically she didn't need to breath. But it had been a design feature, in order to make her as human as possible, among many others. There were people in danger at the port! And at the beach, but she was closer to the port... And besides, she was certain plenty of heroes would show up to help out! Even if this was a B-Class villain by the reports... that didn't matter. Even if she was a D-Class Hero, she had to do her best no matter what!

"Machine Doll... ARMOR ON!"

There was a flash of light and sound. Kiko's clothing seemed to shred apart. Thankfully, light was quick to obscure the possibility of exposure, and her combat bodysuit swiftly formed over her frame. Then it was followed, piece by piece, by armor and weaponry. An enormous shield, an energy blade, plating on her arms and legs, boosters to allow her to fly... it clamped into place over her form. Kiko took another breath as the light faded, displaying her in full combat mode.

In the middle of a busy street. Needless to say, the civilians around her were rather surprised. But Kiko rocketed into the air without pause! The wind whipped against her synthetic skin, carrying her hair, as she tore through the sky as fast as she could. Sure, skill-wise she was only D-Class... but a lot of heroes started out that low, or even lower! She had to carry out justice, to help people and keep anyone from being hurt! That was what being a hero meant!

It wasn't long before the port came into view. And... there were... robot knights? Robot knights! But they weren't the kind of robot Kiko and her "big sister" were...

"Haaah!"

With a shout, she zoomed down as fast as she could. Her energy blade crackled blue from its base and flashed, slicing one of the robots in two. She was D-Class... but she could do this! She was a hero!

"... Stealing..." she began, raising one hand to point squarely at the perpetrator, a boy on some terribly-painted submarine, "... is wrong!"

Toshiro was asleep dreaming about what he would do today. He was dreaming of standing on top of a building looking out onto the world on a sunny day. A smile on his face he would hear a scream. He looks out on to the streets to see a woman yelling for help as a masked man was running with what he presumed was her purse. He leaped into action. Using his powers he lowered his own weight to fall safely to the ground. He started running towards the perp. He leaped over the thief and landed in front of him, the thief stopped in his tracks and with look of ear in his eyes he ran the other way. Toshiro was not going to let him go easily and reared back his fast and punched the thief knocking him to the floor. He takes the purse back the young lady and she thanks him for his bravery. She goes to kiss him when... His alarm clock went off, he got out of bed to start his day.

He began his patrol of the city. he walked around the city for a bit on patrol for any crime he may come across. He helped an old lady cross the street. and get a cat out of a tree, which was nice but he did not find horribly interesting. he was walking through the beach when0 suddenly he sees what looks like a crocodile man comes out of the water from a distance. The crocodile man turned his attention to a to a school girl. When suddenly a man in armor shot the crocodile man in his back with what looked like a laser beam shouting something alone the lines of "Oi! Get your buggering little claws off her you bloody monster!". Radical X had no time to loose, He shifted his weight and lunged for the girl grabbing her in mid jump to put distance between the crocodile man and the school girl.

He placed her safely at a distance from the scene when an announcement was made "All civilians, please be aware there is a Downpour-Class threat currently active in the Beach District. Heroes are en route." He was excited, this would be the first time he fought a Downpour-class villain. He could feel his blood rush his heart beat was racing. This was going to be fun.

The fight with the 'Mighty CorocoKill' was not failing to entertain. Some hero in a suit showed up before the monster could do anything, boring. Then some loser appeared and is also trying to fight. Irene sighed as she watched the combat. Then some flashed in the distance caught her attention and an alert popped up to a new threat on the docks. Further reports showed that there were plenty of weak Heros engaging these threats. It was now time to toy with the weakest, who was now saving that girl even further.

She drew her blades and began to approach the Amateur hero. She alerted him with a mental shout to get his attention. A little girl then ran up to her, "Are you here to save us?" she said in her young, hopeful voice. Clearly mistaking her for a Hero; Irene crouched down and laughed through the helmet. "No no, I am a Super Criminal. and I intend to save humanity by destroying the weak..." She looked over at the one she wished to fight. "He will be first... now leave before you have to see it." Her voice was cheerful with anticipation of a fight.

Irene walked closer to the battle, adrenaline starting to flow. "HEY YOU!" She called out as her swords readied, at her side and out stretched. "FIGHT ME AND PROVE YOUR HERO STATUS!" The attempt to manipulate the other in to combat was coupled by a taunting dance. The plan was simple: be attacked first, frighten, then crush. This was mostly a wish of grandeur, as she had never actually killed a hero.

"Raagh... are you a hero...?" the creature cocked its head to the side, eyeing the armored figure with some level of confusion amidst its rage.

"What do you think mate? Your statin' the obvious here!" Ellis would answer back in a slightly annoyed fashion. Surely this creature was relying on animal instincts rather then intelligence.

"I didn't know that humans came with exoskeletons... do you taste like crab under there? Rrrgg... let's find out!"

It was then when the crocodillian creature unleashes a mighty roar and comes in for a lunge.

"Alright." Ellis will say under his breath, "One arse kicking it is then."

He then runs towards the mighty beast as well, taking huge steps to match the speed Crocokill was going at. As soon as he was in range, the mech jumps up with a mighty leap, raising its right arm in for a punch made of hard metal and determination. As soon as he was just about to land, he sets his punch onto the monster's face, hoping to at most stun him as he pulls out the heavy artillery in his arsenal. More heroes should also be arriving on screen, so they can detain or kill the monster.

“Arraaaa!!! COME ON OUT YOU JERKS!”

Radon's sensitive hearing suddenly happens to detect what appears to be a panicked person. An intruder? No, not just an intruder. It couldn't have been just a stray-away boy. He observes outside the window, trying to find a glimpse of the person who so foolishly wandered in. He then finds someone two blocks away, coming out of an alleyway it seems, and happens to be wearing... a bunny mask. Yup, this was one of those foolish heroes. By the way he reacted, he must be an E-Ranked hero at least, or in some other low-ranked position. From where he's going, he's heading straight for his local residence. It was also just then wear he seems to have spotted something that caught his interest and runs towards the opposite side of the block. Whoever this person is, he seems to be a low-lined threat, but one can never be so sure what these heroes can do these days.

Radon then casually yet sneakily walks outside the house and begins to head towards the back of his residence. Using what appears to be strong gripping... hands? No, those look certainly like claws. With strong gripping claws, the person quickly gets on top of the building and leaps stealthily across house to house, wondering what the hero is doing here, until realizing some other shady business is also taking place here. Were they drug dealers? If so, he has no care of them and their selfish desires to get high. As long as they don't get too close, he'll let them go...

Radical X is about to lunge towards the crocodile man when he hears some one calling out to him but, but in his head?! He quickly looked around to see a women talking to a child and then she looks towards him and shouts "Hey you! Fight me and prove your hero status!" he looks at her bewildered and the realizes she is probably some one with SUPER he replies to her "No thank you I'm fine, I have not registered yet. I promise I'll try for the registration test later."

He turns his attention towards the crocodile man and yells to the other hero "Oi! Hero man! Don't take all of the fun!" He lunges towards the crocodile man shifting the weight of his fist to his maximum and he punches the enemy in the back.

“Oi! You pansies!” Kamen Usagi took a step towards the shady men and tapped his bat on his shoulder a few times. “You're going to get taught a lesson from the best. Kamen Usagi!” The men just stared back at him, “Is... this your turf man?” Though they couldn't see it, his lip and eye twitched at the thought. “Oh you wanna play games...” His grip tightened around the base of the bat. “WE'LL PLAY GAMES YA JERKS!!!” With a mighty swing, his bat came down upon one of the criminals. “Ow! Crap! The hell man!?”

“This is what you get!” Kamen Usagi didn't let up, he kicked another of the men into the alley wall and brought the bat down on the hooded man. He wasn't sure how much time had past, but he left the group of criminals battered, bruised and with a few lumps on their heads. “Yeah! This is Kamen Usagi reportin in! I stopped some crime! The trash is at... Uh... fifth? And uh... it's an alley where i'm at. Just, scan the call or something!”

He waited for a response from the other end. “Yeah, you better freakin get here soon! I ain't waiting around all day! I did my hero thing!” He growled, man... it would be great to be like a B class hero or something, even just C-class... so he didn't have to go around and hero the small stuff everyday, then he could fight the big monsters, make the big bucks! Live in a giant ass mansion! “Yeah the sweet life.” He placed the tip of the bat on one of the villains heads and leaned on the base. “Can't wait.”

@VitaVitaAR

She was making good time. She'd probably be home in a short while at this pace, barring any interruptions. Really, she should figure out some way to make her suit mobile or something...maybe find a way to condense it into a backpack or something. A laptop case would work well, and be inconspicuous. She'd have to look into that later. For now, she was just focusing on getting home before she missed the party.

And that's when she slammed right into another girl.

"Ow! What the fuck!" She loudly shouted, as she stumbled backwards, barely managing to keep her footing from the sudden collision.

"I-I'm s-sorry! I d-didn't... I w-wasn't... i-it's my fault I'm s-sorry..."

"Watch where you're going, jackass." She said much more quietly, but there was still a good bit of annoyance in her voice. Really, she was partly to blame as well for this, but she wasn't about to admit that at the moment, especially not when the other party was the one doing the apologizing.

"... A-are you okay?"

"I'm fine, you're lucky I wasn't carrying anything or I'd seriously be pissed." She shook her head, finally looking at the other girl that had run into her and calming down just a bit. Were those...hoverboots? They looked similar in function to the stuff she had made. Didn't matter, she was in a bit of a hurry. She didn't want to waste any time getting suited up, as one might say.

"I'm in a hurry so I'll let ya off easily this time, But next time, watch it." She was a bit curious as to how she built those little boots, but she'd find out later maybe. She could easily find the girl if she had too - finding something like that wouldn't be difficult to find at all.

So she turned to leave. Whatever was going on at the bank, some heroes were probably going to be showing up once things got fun, and she wanted in on the festivities.

Evan 'Sunshine' Smiles

Market District

At a small clothing store somewhere on the east edge of the market district, a satisfied customer was taking their leave with two shopping bags in hand. The store name was called 'Evan's Wardrobe', which is not far off from where it originated. His designs attracted many women and had costumes for children, it was also hot spot for cosplayers. Being the only employee who works there currently, hurts his business since he has to balance his hours between being a hero and being a store clerk.

"Thank you, come again!"

Evan called out as he kindly waved goodbye to the happy customer. It was time for him to close up the store rather early and commence his daily hero objectives. Today's outfit he picked out is a penguin, he went over to the back and quickly got dressed then applied his face paint shortly afterwards. It was a rather simplistic design of a penguin's face, something you would commonly see on children during Halloween. After the preparations were done, Evan walked out of his store locking the doors and ran off to patrol the Market District area for a little bit.

It's a really sunny day!

Today's weather couldn't have made Evan any more happier. It really did put a smile on his face looking up at the sky thinking it was going to be another perfect day. After running around the Market District for awhile, he spotted no criminal activities at the moment, that is until he heard a yelp nearby the Meiko Mart. Evan was just around the corner (on the right side) from where he heard the sound, thinking that it was a cry for help, he was about to use his pyrokenitic flight ability to fly around the corner and deliver some sweet justice. That dream was crushed however, when shortly after he overheard a girl apologizing to another. He poked his head around the corner to observe the situation while being very noticeable to spot if they faced his direction.

This doesn't look criminal.

Evan was just about to brush off this situation until he spotted a shady bunch in oversized long coats nearby. He was curious to what they were up to and focused his attention on them for the time being.

-Radon Yazama-

Abandoned Ginmura Neighborhood - South Region

As this hero beats down these so called "criminals" with his own bat, he was unaware that Radon was watching the whole thing from the rooftops. And he wasn't too pleased at this whole delima, in fact, he was actually disgusted. A hero beating on innocent men minding their own business? And even if they were in fact criminals, they're weren't disrupting peace, especially in places like this. Are these what heroes are doing these days? After he beaten these men, he began to discuss on the phone various, having such a fiery and rude attitude. Like what, "the sweet life"? That sounds utterly bullshit. "Can't wait" he says. All he did was disrupt peace around his neighborhood residence, nothing more. And that's something Radon hates the most. He should teach this young inexperienced hero a lesson.

"You call this 'hero duty'?" he remarks to Kamen on the rooftop in a very displeased growl, "You call beating up regular innocent people, minding their own business in life, 'HERO duty'? You heroes are so full of yourselves these days... it disgusts me."

"A...Are...you....eswha? Who do you think you are?! You insignificant boy! Fight a Real threat!" Irene was shouting indignantly at the wannabe Hero. She spun the blades in her hand as she walked toward him. Tunnel vision for fighting this kid made her unaware of the more powerful hero who was actually fighting the beast.

If this hero was going to be dishonorable and not fight, she would make him. Irene turned towards the on-lookers who believed they were safe. Two heros fighting a threat out of the way of buildings was safe, Some of the residents were filming the whole thing on their phones! How rude could the public be? A demented smile formed behind the mask as she walked toward the group. A few realized the threat and ran away, the rest were dumb enough to think she was not a Villain.

Irene walked up close to one guy who was taking selfies with the fight in the background. A fiendish thought occurred. She envisioned the monster charging straight that man; he then ran away in terror, her illusions worked again. Any of the populace who took selfies with life threatening combat going on are weak and could not hope to combat her mental abilities. She walked closer to the crowd and started slicing phones. "Weaklings! Call upon your Heros to save you before I start going for heads!" her voice proclaimed loudly.

"Raaagh!"

CrocoKill snarled as a fist slammed into its chin. It staggered back for a moment, before its yellow eyes fixed on the armored hero who had delivered that blow. It was the first time a human had ever managed to lay a hand on it! ... Granted it was the first time it had ever fought a human, but still. It was furious! The crocodilian monster lept back several meters, sand tossed up under its clawed feet as it hunched down on all fours. Its throat inflated, displaying that it had some sort of pouch in its neck... and when it opened its mouth, and blast of water, strong enough to tear through steel and obliterate flesh, tore from its gaping maw.

At least, until something hit it in the back. It was hard enough to be aggravating and painful, but CrocoKill's back was hardly easy to injure. Like the animal it resembled, the monster's back was armored, and difficult to harm. Crocokill snarled and waved one hand in a bid to backhand its assailant.

Market District

The girl had a really bad reaction... She' screwed up really bad, hadn't she? Reika had blundered right into the other girl and she seemed really upset... Reika stared at the ground, looking away from the other girl as she complained, and mentioned she was 'letting her off lightly', but... that wasn't really okay, was it? The girl didn't know, but... Reika was supposed to be a hero, and heroes didn't just clumsily bump into people and stuff, right? With how fast she was going, it actually could have hurt the other girl, too! Reika shuffled her feet, awkwardly, small humming sounds coming from her hoverskates. After taking another deep breath, she looked over her shoulder at the girl as she was passing.

"I-Is... is there any way I c-can make it up to you?" she asked. She was in a hurry, but... Reika felt wrong if she didn't make any kind of effort. She had to. Being a hero was about doing the right thing, right? "... S-sorry, I just... sh-should have been paying more attention, u-um... a-and with these hoverskates I could h-have hurt you!"

It was hard talking to people sometimes, but... she really felt bad about this!

Meanwhile, the figures in longcoats seemed to be... milling about, not particularly doing anything unusual... but still, something seemed rather fishy.

-Ellis Newman-

The Beach

That punch seemed to have taken the monster by surprise. Just to be expected. Ellis' fists were still up in case Crocokill was going to issue a counter attack, but alas he instead began to back off a few meters. However, he knew that he wasn't going to retreat just yet. Suddenly, it's throat began to inflate, which seems to indicate that like other crocodilians, that it had a pouch of some sort. Ellis realized that it was going to unleash some sort of ranged attack. Then it suddenly fired a high powered force of water, which at that speed could rip through steel. However, his suit's armor is made of a titanium-allow, a metal that is stronger than steel, but lighter than ordinary steal. He places his two arms in front of his face as the beam made contact. It wouldn't be strong enough to cut through his suit, but the blast would still push him a few meters himself.

Yet suddenly, he happens to hear a voice, a friendly voice, nearby.

"Oi! Hero man! Don't take all of the fun!"

Ellis then looks up, only to have beam of water dissipate as he sees a young man try and combat the monster himself. He looks like a hero, but yet he doesn't remember seeing him in the HQ. While he's indeed trying his best, compared to Crocokill, he'll get obliterated if he gets too close to one of its giant punches.

"Oi!" he remarks towards the boy, "Thanks for the assist, but this ain't your fight mate! This creature is outta your league, I have everything under control here!"

And with that, he fires four missiles from the suit's back, which home in on the beast itself. Suddenly, Ellis also happens to hear some panicked screams coming from behind him. Looking back, the hero finds a black-cladded person slicing people's phones and saying something about going for their heads. This should suit the new hero well enough.

"Mate!" he then says to him, "There's a villain to the south end of the beach, not more then 20 meters away! Take care of that villain and I'll take care of this bloody brute!"

Alice Marlowe

The Beach

It was a warm summer's day, the sun was shining, and until just now there had been nothing to spoil Alice's decision to go down to the beach for some ice-cream. In short, the exact opposite of any sort of setting for a noir feel. You'd have hell trying to get decent chiaroscuro with this level of ambient light. Such were the faux-detective's idle thoughts as she waited in line to be served.

Fortunately for her enjoyment of the day, the reports of a downpour-ranked threat only came in after the mint-flavoured treat was handed over and paid for. Making rather less haste than the situation strictly called for, as running into people coming the other way would not help matters and lose her snack, the superhero headed for the shore. Monsters were such a pain to deal with; they never seemed to appreciate the efforts you had to go to in order to create a suitably dramatic monologue

It ended up not being the crocodile-man that Alice ran into first. Instead...

Blade of Ire. A two-bit hack of a villain with no goals and as much taste in clothing, Alice thought, having made a note to learn as many C-rank or higher villains expressly for the purpose of being able to get into the right mindset, The sort of broad that seems like a good date then bleeds you dry after.

Seeing as she'd started on the wanton destruction of property rather than attacking people, it seemed prudent to stop things without escalating: the law still applied to heroes. Or if it didn't, Alice was going to apply it anyway. That meant no assault, but she had an easy way to deal with wanton sword-swinging: move towards Irene's path, then interpose her hair between sword and phone. A bunch of the strands wrapped together and shot out, intercepting the next attack, and then endeavouring to wrap around the blade and yank it free.

"Hero, here. Something you need?" The hardened expression and disaffected-sounding words were undermined somewhat by the hero's decision to keep eating her ice-cream. She'd paid good money for it.
