“Who are you accusing of being in league with the cult?” Catherine managed to say, making an angry expression.” If I wasn’t crippled like this right now, I would have loved to beat the hell out of you.” She replied with anger.” If I didn’t protect myself, you would have killed me! Of course she would try to stop you, she thinks I’m with them! I’ve been undercover here for months… I almost feared I was abandoned.”

“Most likely there are those… This is more akin to fortress than a mansion…*cough* *cough* “ Cath stated and started coughing violently.” There are very few blind spots from the surveillance in this place… I haven’t seen any of the devices, but I’ve heard the euphorians and the other guards talk about it.”

“Just use that power sword of yours along with that teleportation to quickly get to the kitchen or garage and return for us here… you idiot woman…” Cath groaned in pain, getting angry at the psyker.

" ... you idiot woman…”

It did not take long for Adrianne's previously contemplative expression to quickly turn into that of a sour, grumpy face as she looked down at Catherine with yer violet eyes, narrowing down on the battered girl with a look of annoyance!

"Oh, is it my fault now that I acted like a loyal member of the imperium by chasing down and attacking those affiliated with a cult dedicated to the ruin of the entire universe now, is it?!" Adrianne exclaimed as she pointed accusingly down at Catherine!
"I have no reasons to believe you whatsoever! If you had been a member of the Inquisition, you would have known that I was doing my sanctified duty to the good of mankind and the god emperor! Yet you have the gall to question my competence or intentions?! I can't believe you - you are either the worst cultist I've ever had the misfortune to meet, or the stupidest agent ever to leave any imperial institute!"

Adrianne rambled on, walking next to Zhevon and Catherine as she did as she walked towards the entrance of the room.

"I'm coming back! I'm going to get us to the garage! I'm going to get a vehicle! And I swear to the emperor, the only seat you are getting is the luggage compartment!"

As she was walked and turned around, Adrianne suddenly realized that she had accidentally missed the doorway by one meter and instead stood face to face with the wall. With a grumpy look on her face, she would swipe her staff across it, generating a kinetic shockwave that crumbled the simple wall in a great explosion of force and created a hole next to the door leading out into the corridor. Walking out through it, Adrianne would raise her right hand up, showing her middle finger as she walked out of sight.

" ... BITCH!"

Zhevon rubbed the eyepieces on his gas mask as Adrainne was explaining the flaws of teleportation. It made sense, but it was unfortunate to their situation. Much of the things that she explained shared the same dangers of conventional teleportation by technology. He recalled the Siege of Haddrake Tor, where the Terminators of the Imperial Fists 1st' Company were teleporting into solid rock or deep underground. He'd rather not end up killed by a wall. She then suggested a long range teleportation back to the safehouse, an idea the piqued Zhevons interest, but it was quickly shot down when the Psyker said that it could be interfered with by Chaos relays or nodes. That's how the forces of Chaos disrupted the teleportation of the Imperial Fists during the battle.

The idea was further shot down by Cath's addition, confirming that there were likely several of the devices planted somewhere. Cath spoke further, bringing anger out of Adrianne. He tried to speak up, but he kept on being interrupted, when Adrianne reached the wall she crumbled it with her psychic powers, then walking out leaving with a resounding,
"BITCH!"
"...Right, well, stay safe." Zhevon said after she had gone. He sat down next to Cath. "Maybe don't agitate the already agitated Psyker?" He suggested, he looked around again, still on the look out for the other Euphorian, "So who sent you? Maybe I know the guy."

“Who are you calling stupid, you incompetent…*cough*…*cough*…” She started to argue back before having another painful coughing fit going on. This psyker was getting on her nerves so much. If only she didn’t get squashed when they first met her, she wouldn’t have had to stand this… torture!

“Moronic show off, I hope you trip down the stairs!” Catherine replied as the psyker insulted her while going away.” Not a chance…*cough*. I nearly died because of that moron. To the Warp with her… It may be her duty, but I don’t plan to simply lay and let someone kill me!”

“I was sent here by order of Inquisitor Zhevon…” Cath replied, finally relaxing again, she still wanted to beat the hell out of that psyker though.” It was months ago, I had just returned from a skirmish with Dark Eldar forces when I got the new assignment. Never met him in person… just the orders and I’ve been here since with no word from anyone.” She replied.” I feared, I was left here to either lose my mind or something worse.”

Walking through the mansion door, still quite grumpy after her last encounter with the stuck-up, glorified janitor that was Catherine, Adrianne would eventually come to notice how remarkably empty the whole place was.

Aside from the occasional bullet hole or tilted vase, the corridors and hallways in the mansion were empty. The lights on the occasional pict sensor attached to the roof were powered down, and the only sound she could hear seemed to emanate from outside of the mansion in the form of the hover engines of the valkyrie circling the mansion.

Otherwise, she had walked for a good seventy feet through the various ornately decorated hallways without noticing anyone else.

"I guess the party is already over."

Adrianne thought to herself as she continued walking, staff in hand when she suddenly heard the distant running of feet and a man shouting.

"Quickly, get into the tunnels! We'll close the gate soon!"

Noticing this, Adrianne would walk out onto the higher level of a larger hall, gazing down from behind one of the pillars to look down at the main floor. There she could see a row of bookshelves, one of which had been turned around to reveal a secret stairway behind it. Two house guards were ushering half a dozen well-dressed guests through, motioning for them to hurry as they stood on each side of the staircase.

Moving back behind the pillar and out of sight, Adrianne would activate her comm to Zhevon and whisper.

"Uh, this is Adrianne. I think some of the guests are vacating to some tunnels beneath the mansion. Some kind of hidden entrance or something. Should I investigate?"

Zhevon stayed silent for a second before speaking up, "So. Zhevon huh?" He brushed the side of his gas mask. "I know the guy is dumb, but he wouldn't be so stupid as to send a new acolyte on a mission like this. He has his own spies for that." He explained. Now, how did she end up here? He never recalled sending anyone new to a solo mission, much less a solo spy mission. Solo spy mission were extremely dangerous, with no support or backup, things could quickly go south. Typically a spy had numerous people at his or her back, feeding the operative information on the go, or as an extra pair of hands to set up an encounter. Zhevon would have to go over his logs and cross check with a secretary or two to find out what happened. Later though, they had bigger problems. Most notably the guns that would be pointing in their direction.

His comm buzzed to life, "Uh, this is Adrianne. I think some of the guests are vacating to some tunnels beneath the mansion. Some kind of hidden entrance or something. Should I investigate?"
Zhevon looked at the wounded Cath laying next to him, "Negative, but note the location and time. We'll come back to investigate later. For now we focus on getting out of here."

"Negative, but note the location and time. We'll come back to investigate later. For now we focus on getting out of here."

"Understood, I'll continue to the garage." Adrianne replied in her comms as she cast another look past the pillar and down at the room below, just in time to see the last of the house guards as he stepped into the corridor, hit a switch on the inside of the doorway and closed a heavy metal door before the bookshelf began to close behind him.

"My power sword could easily get through that... "

Continuing through the mansion once the coast was clear, Adrianne found the rest of it to be just as deserted as the former. Minus the occasional bloodstains and damaged architecture, there was practically nobody else to find.

Arriving in the ballroom, she found it equally empty. Navigating between the once-luxurious but now messy long dining tables and scattered chairs, she made her way towards a room at the opposite end where she could see two rotating kitchen doors. However, as soon as she had stepped into the middle of the room, she would notice a bright light flare through the tall windows above the ballroom, lighting up the otherwise shaded interior, and the loud roars of a pair of hover engines.

"Target spotted; engaging!"

A voice could be heard from the outside, before the entire wall and windows was suddenly riddled with heavy bolter fire from the side of the valkyrie hovering outside. The stone walls were turned to dust and rubble within seconds; the windows shattered to shower into the ballroom, as soon the whole dining area became a shooting range as hundreds of bolter rounds blasted apart chairs and floor panels with reckless abundance!

Adrianne managed to leap forward as a deadly heavy bolter salvo drenched the floor she had stood just minutes ago. Her refractor field absorbed some of the shrapnel flying towards her from the mini-detonations of the bolter rounds, but Adrianne doubted it would have been able to hold up long against direct fire from the weapon!

Sprinting across the dining room with all haste, jumping over tables and darting past chairs, she crashed through the kitchen doors to arrive in a white tiled food preparation area just as the doorway behind her was blown to smitherines by a hail of bolter fire, filling half of the kitchen with dust and rubble!

"Adrianne here, I made it to the kitchen!" Adrianne activated her comms to speak, panting as she stood crouched within the kitchen. Fortunately there was no way for the valkyrie to get a direct line of sight on her from outside, the kitche having no windows and was separated by at least a couple of rooms from the exterior mansion walls!

"But the valkyrie hovering around the house is definitely not friendly. It's ill temper is only matched by its heavy armaments. I recommend caution."

“I don’t know… I just received the order via a message and it carried all the proper credentials and authorizations. I had no choice, but to comply and leave my unit at once to come here to this planet.” Cath explained with a frown." For us form the imperial guard, orders from inquisitors are absolute even if we never meet him personally... even if we die because of them... No one really values our lives."

“I was sent here on this world with no money, no contacts and no one to aid me in this task.” She said, looking at the man who was helping her.” Still I managed to infiltrate this place… I joined this cult in name only, was given a job suitable for gathering information, kept my cover from being blown up and even avoided being turning into a complete freak as some of the other people who work here…” She said and looked at her chest.” Well… I did have to undergo some alterations, but those were obligatory…” Her chest certainly was quite a big bigger than it used to be.

Cath lacked the comm, that the other used so she couldn’t hear what Adrianne was saying, but she certainly heard the valkyrie pretty clearly form the room they were at. Her first thought was that it better be the pesky psyker that they were shooting at, but then again if that one died, she may not escape either… Cath rolled her eyes in annoyance.

The unnatural howl that was suddenly heard from above Aviza's head sent a chill down her spine, causing the Sister of Battle to shift uncomfortably in her armor. In a show of dark heretic power, Lucia appeared before Aviza and Lilith, clad in the same warped black power armor from their first encounter back in the tunnels below the warehouse. The Euphorians remark caused a sly smirk to spread across Aviza's face. "I'm sorry to tell you but you have indeed missed the party, but the good news is that you arrived just in time for the after-party." Repositioning her heavy bolter, Aviza took aim but not yet fired. Adraines voice came through her helmets com, informing her of the hostile valkyrie fire that she had taken in the ballroom, "We have another problem, our old friend Lucia is here and she looks rather upset." The heavy bolter remained aimed at the power armored woman, ready to fire at a moments notice. The sound of the valkyries hovering about outside could be heard with great ease as well as other hostile vehicles that seemed to surround the building.

Lilith frowned. "You really suck at making friends, you know that?" She grumbled, then looked over at Lucia, "You too, whoever you are." Shifting uncomfortably she watched the two, feeling somewhat small compared to the bulk of the power armored women.

"How about," she began, leaning against a wall and doing her best to act casual, "We all just exchange phone numbers and go our separate ways? Then we can talk it out later on and decide whether or not to kill each other or just have a nice big orgy? I'm sure she... whoever you are," she cocked her head at Lucia, "I'll just call you Sexy, since this is a Slaaneshi cult. Anyway, I'm sure Sexy here has plenty of friends, and if you two want to fight it out I can always bring some leather and... other things, and you two can have a nice little S&M fight!" She paused, "At the very least let me leave before you kill each other?"

An uncomfortable feeling of awkwardness filled the room as Lilith spoke of heresy. The hairs on the back of Aviza’s neck to stood up and the muscles in her body strained. Hopefully Lilith was merely trying to psychologically manipulate Lucia but the Sister of Battle wasn’t going to include herself in any part of it. The smirk that was once spread across Aviza’s face had now been replaced by the look of someone who had recently undergone a lobotomy. With a phlegmatic shrug at Lucia, Aviza quickly reprimanded Lilith. "Hold your tongue Lilith, do not speak of such heresy or I will rip it from your mouth." All this time, the Sister of Battle Hawk Eyed the Euphorian with the heavy bolter pointed at her.

"You'll rip it from my mouth?" Lilith smirked, "Well, that's different, last time time they just tried to get me with a knife, you're welcome to try, but I have sharp teeth." Smirking at Aviza she continued, "Besides, everything is so broadly defined as heresy, I once had a Commissar try to kill me for the stupidest thing, surely a little BDSM never summoned any hordes of Daemons." She paused again, looking between the two, "Seriously though if you'd be so kind as to let me leave before killing each other that would be great, since I doubt my orgy idea is going over too well for either of you."

There was an awkward pause from Lucia as she simply raised an eyebrow at the two quarreling imperials, as if the towering woman experienced a brief moment of confusion.

However, at Lilith´s last comment, Lucia would share a smirk on her dark lips.

"The grouchiness of the Sisters Adepta is legendary." Lucia would comment with a look of amusement as she gazed towards Lilith.
"To call them a bore would be to risk the greatest understatement of the millennium. Both in person, and in body... why else do you think they wear all that bulky, powered armor all the time?"

Lucia smirked, cocking a brow in Aviza´s direction, before looking back at Lilith.

"You look more fun though. Tell you what; subdue this stuck-up, power armored nun, and I´ll let you live... oh, and by the ruinous powers... "

The 8ft tall buxom euphorian paused for a moment, her purple eyes now clearly looking directly towards Lilith´s chest.

" ... do good by me, hun, and I might even give you some free enhancements of your choice as well!"

Lucia grinned as she threw the Tech Priestess a naughty wink, all the while gently moving the blunt edge of her other daemonblade across her own curvaceous power armor; letting it clink against a dark and rather voluptuous chestplate before slowly slinking down along her torso, gently caressing her narrow waistline before going down into a pair of wide and powerful hips that flared out to either side.

*

Aviza's left eye twitched uncomfortably as Lucia threw both Lilith and the Sister of Battle suggestive comments, speaking of hersey and even betrayal. "Choose your next words and actions very carefully Lilith, your life will depend on it. Also, who are you calling a stuck-up power armored nun? Better that than the abomination you have turned yourself into, I do not have time for you or any of this." Pressing a button on her com, Aviza quickly spoke in coded words before far in the distance, the sound of heavy artillery fire could be heard. "Better run while you have the chance Euphorian..." The first couple impacts from the artillery fire could be heard slamming into the ground outside, shaking the earth beneath their feet. Then, one of the shells hit a Valkyrie with a tremendous sound that echoed through the city.

The Valkyrie exploded into a blinding white light, shooting white hot flaming debris in every direction. Some of the Valkyrie had managed to remain in one piece and subsequently thrown itself threw the front on the mansion. The interior of the once beautiful mansion now resembled that of a nightmarish hellscape. Flames engulfed the interior as debris laid scattered across the entryway. Aviza had merely stood still while the pieces of the Valkyrie flew past her, slamming into walls and pillars of the mansion, kicking up a cloud of dust that mixed with the smoke. "Or are you so eager to die?" asked Aviza as more artillery fire rained down from above.

Zhevon listened to Caths explanations, and how that Guardsmen were at the whim of the Inquisitors. He knew that they were, but hearing it first hand had put it more into perspective. Zhevon was privileged, luckily or unluckily, compared to the common Guardsman. He was picked up by the one a Lord Inquisitor, and made into an acolyte when he was young. He grew into becoming an Inquisitor. The details about her mission only confirmed that a veteran spy was supposed to take this task, not a rookie like her.
She looked at her chest and explained that she had undergone some obligatory alterations. Alterations? Zhevon looked at her chest and tried to figure out what she meant. Did they put some sort of tech-heresy in place of her heart or lungs? Or maybe improved organs? What was she talking abo-
Zhevon stopped, it finally clicking into place, he looked away and mumbled an apology. Rubbing the back of his neck.

His com link crackled to life, with Adrianne speaking up from it. He heard rubble moving in the background, what had happened?
"Adrianne here, I made it to the kitchen! But the valkyrie hovering around the house is definitely not friendly. It's ill temper is only matched by its heavy armaments. I recommend caution." She warned.
A Valkyrie? He got up and ran to the nearby window, sticking his head out of it. Lo and behold, there was definitely a Valkyrie in a gunship configuration hovering nearby. The heavy bolter on its side door was smoking. He spotted that it had two wing mounted rocket pods and two nose mounted lascannons. There probably was another heavy bolter on the other side too. He muttered a curse, his looted laspistol wouldn't do anything to that. Then he heard the rumble of distant thunder, but there was no storm. Imperial Guard artillery. He sprinted back to Cath and covered her with his body. Then the shells hit. A split second of sharp whistles, immediately after, the heavy thuds of the shells hitting. Immediately after, the explosions. Zhevon counted eight, maybe ten impacts. Zhevon felt the impacts of rubble hitting his back and heard the sharp whipping sound of shrapnel shooting through the air, hitting walls and furniture like bullets.
A battery of up to ten Earthshaker Cannons, 132mm, firing HE rounds. It only took roughly 13 seconds from firing to impact, meaning they weren't at their maximum range. The gun crews probably wouldn't be firing at battle speeds either. Giving them maybe another half minute or so until the next salvo, then another 13 seconds until impact. If they were firing another salvo.
43 seconds.

Three seconds later, as debris was still falling from the strike, Zhevon shook off the rubble and dust from his back and looked at the window. The entire wall was gone, he ran to the edge and noticed the Valkyrie had been hit, now smoking on the ground, on fire and in pieces. A little smile appeared on his lips, his luck was looking pretty good. He ran back to Cath and checked her if any shrapnel had hit her. On the way, he saw a piece of Valyrie wing embedded into the wall above them. Lucky indeed.
He pressed his comm, "Can you teleport us to your location? The Valkyrie is down." He asked Adrianne. For once he wanted the Imperial Guard artillery crews to be a little slower than usual.

"Tempting as the offer of bigger assets is, I think I'll have to, respectfully, ask you to go fuck yourself, which you'd probably do anyway." Lilith pulled a melta bomb off her belt, cooking the timer for a couple seconds as she unloaded a burst from one of her pistols before hurling the explosive at the Euphorian. "Let Slaanesh deepthroat this one!" She cackled, grabbing Aviza in an inhumanly strong grip and dragging the Sororitas from the blast radius.

*

Rithy

A malicious glint gleamed in Lucia's purple eyes as the pandemonium ensued all around her, the valkyrie completely decimating one of the walls and Lilith hurling a melta bomb towards her.

"Awww, that's a pity... " Lucia spoke in a mocking, sultry tone as she entered her battle pose.

As she did, the cape of tendrils flowing down her back would flare out as if sparked to life, and the dark, shadowy mist exhuming from her warped power armor would increase in intensity, making the Euphorian appear more like a blur, a shadowy mist of a vaguely feminine shape as she moved about.

The only constant, clear feature of the blur of shadows and tendrils as Lucia moved about would be the unholy artifact seated in her chest, its demonic eye staring straight at them with an intensity that immediately began to cloud their minds as if a heavy migraine was building from out of nowhere.

The shadows from Lilith's gun seemed to pass through the expanded, vague shadowy figure of Lucia as if she was made of mist, although one of the rounds made an audible 'clink' as if they hit an armored plate.

As the Melta bomb from Lilith was coming closer to the blurred shadowy figure of Lucia, the Euphorian would step to the side; surprisingly agile in her light power armor. But as she did, one of the tendrils flowing from her fleshy cloak would lash out against the incoming bomb like a whip, hitting it mid air and pushing it away from her instead.

As the bomb exploded, now at a greater distance from Lucia, the sheer white flash of it was still enough to create a shockwave of heat that seemed to temporarily distort the shadows surrounding Lucia for a second, the euphorian appearing in her normal humanoid shape; before the shadows emanating from her cursed armor quickly reformed themselves and she once again became a blur of black and purple mist.

Now moving, Lucia would move like a laughing ghost towards Aviza.

As she came closer, a faint murmur could be heard from further up in the great ball room, before a set of blackened, spiked chains suddenly materialized around Avize and tightened, holding her in place!

As soon as they had closed around her, Lucia passed her by, swiping out with her demonblade!
It struck through the chains and into the side of Aviza's powered armor, cutting through it with surprising ease and let a surface gash across her side!

"Come, dance with me, sister! Let's become the main attraction of this night!" Lucia laughed out at Aviza as her shadowy figure repositioned itself, as if coming in for another strike!

"Can you teleport us to your location? The Valkyrie is down."

"Hold on, I think I'm almost at the garage!" Adrianne replied over her comms as the Psyker was rapidly making her way through the kitchen, jumping over littered pans and plates as she headed for the door to the maintenance corridor of the mansion on the opposite side of the room.

Crashing through the door, she continued running left; following her vague memories that she had of the mansion from the outside before they had entered.

And lo and behold, as she was running down the bleak and dimly lit concrete corridor, she would soon come across an open heavy iron door. Slowing down and approaching in a more stealthy and quiet manner, she would carefully peek her head around the edge of the door to gaze into the room. Within, she could hear a couple of voices, as well as see what appeared to be a large garrage, where luxurious limousines and sleek cars were parked side by side with heavily armored assault cars. There was even a chimera armored personnel carrier parked at the edge of the garage.

Inside, she could also see what appeared like two young, regal looking houseguards. They were working on one of the armored cars, appearing to be loading in some crates while the other one was in the process of changing one of the tires.

"Give me that spanner, would you?" One of the guards would say as he motioned towards the other.

"Spanner, you mean this?" The second houseguard said as he finished loading onto a metal crate into the back of the vehicle, before producing a screwdriver.

"No. That's not a spanner, you dimwit! That's a screwdriver! Look over there, by the... what the... "

"Hey guys, am I interrupting?"

The two guardsmen would immediately pause what they were doing as they turned around to see Adrianne just as she walked into the room nonchalantly. Looking surprised at first, the older one quickly gained a more grumpy look as he pointed at her.

"No guests allowed in the maintenance area! Weren't you guys supposed to be evacuating?!"

"Maybe... we're kind'a... " Adrianne said, pausing for a moment as she looked somewhat contemplative before turning back to the man and smiling.
"But I just felt like some Grand Theft Auto."

" ... "

" ... what?"

*CLONK!*

The two houseguards did not have time to even look confused at oneanother before Adrianne suddenly conjured her powers of telekinesis, grabbing both of the guards and slamming their heads together before they could even say a word! Unconscious and knocked out cold, they both slumped down onto the garage floor.

"Garage clear, I'm returning now." Adrianne replied over her comms.
"I hope you guys haven't moved from where I last saw you. I don't want any decapitations."

Adrianne spoke over her comms to Zhevon, before casting another psychic power. On the other end of the house, Zhevon and Catherine would suddenly feel themselves grabbed by an invisible force, as they; and all the material within 8ft of them in a sphere; was sucked into the warp, only to be spewed out into the garage next to Adrianne, including large chunks of walls, rubble and debris that had been caught in the teleportation!

Cath only smiled as the inquisitor went ahead and started mumbling apologies for some reason. It was funny to her, what was he apologizing for? The fact she got some benefits from the whole thing? Maybe he misunderstood her and thought she didn’t approve of the modification made to her figure? Still, what was with that shy looking reaction from Zhevon’s side? The way he was rubbing his neck, looking to the side made him look surprisingly… innocent in a way?

Suddenly as they received confirmation that the crazy psyker was going to get them to her, Cath’s hair went on edge. She felt the disturbance in the air around them as everything was pulled through something and the garage, including pieces of the walls, floors, rubble and everything around. It was clear how noisy this stun was as the pieces of the wall started crumbling onto the floor and so on.

Cath’s eyes twitched for a moment.” Are you bloody insane, you god damned psycho woman!?” She roared, her voice still partially overtaken by the noise of the crumbling walls and rubble.” What’s with you, how did you even think this is a good idea?! Don’t you know what stealth and subtlety is!?” She said in anger. No way this went unnoticed… if they were any guards or euphorians who heard this were busy fighting elsewhere right now.

"I don't know how in oblivion you thought that was a good idea!" She stated then painfully shaking her head, looking around the garage. Then pointed one of the vehicles." That one is one of the fasted here... Though I do hope one of you can drive, because that one is hell to control."

"Garage clear, I'm returning now. I hope you guys haven't moved from where I last saw you. I don't want any decapitations." Adrianne spoke over the communications. That last bit made Zhevon a little worried, but he took a knee next to Cath anyways. The next few seconds were fairly violent. Like an unnaturally strong gust of wind pulled at him, he heard a torrent of wind against him, then the whiplash of Adrianne's teleport.
Zhevon stayed still for a second, mildly nauseous as pieces of rubble and wall fell onto the concrete floor. Also while Cath was yelling not-so-nice words at Adrianne.

Zhevon exhaled once he gathered himself, "I think the time for stealth and subtly passed when the building started to get hit by artillery," He quietly said. He groaned while getting up on his two feet, "Am I going to get used to that?" He asked his Psyker, he hoped he would. Cath then pointed at a vehicle and said that it was one of the fastest in the whole garage. It was a modified Taurox, it's tracks replaced with all terrain rubber wheels, painted desert tan. Probably an off road vehicle for trips through the wilderness, judging by its twin linked autocannons.

Zhevon went to one end of the makeshift stretcher that Cath was on and picked it up, dragging it to the Taurox. Once he opened up the rear hatch and loaded her in, he saw the controls and paused for a second. Did he know how to drive with controls that complex? Probably not. He climbed into the vehicle, opting to take the turret controls instead, hoping that Adrianne had an idea of how to drive the APC.
He clicked his comms on to Aviza, "Aviza, ping us your location, we've borrowed some armored transport from the garage."

"I don't know how in oblivion you thought that was a good idea!"

"Ohh, I'm sorry my brilliant plan for saving you guys did not fall perfectly in line with miss-oh-so-sneaky-infiltrator-who-sleep-with-the-enemy!" Adrianne would remark with a rather sour tone, giving Catherine a rude gesture in return to show how little she cared.

Or at least how little she wanted to make it look like she cared!

However, when the question about who was going to be driving the vehicle was asked, Adrianne's grumpy face would suddenly transform itself into an enthusiast smile of glee as she quickly turned about to look at the vehicles.

"Whicho-one-o-you-mean-o?!" She spoke, spitting out words so quickly they barely constituted an intelligible sentence!

Staring star eyed at the vehicles in the garage, Adrianne had a moment of pure euphoria as she relished in the thought of piloting one of the things. Zhevon had not even managed to get Catherine into the back of the vehicle before Adrianne had zoomed past him like a girl on Emperor's Eve, ripping the bottom of her dress some more before throwing her inside the door of the vehicle and slumping down into the driver seat without hesitation!

"Finally... "

Adrianne would only utter as she gently caressed the leather bound wheel in front of her, simply taking a moment to feel the sensation of the APC interior in an intimate moment.

"She's a beauty... "

“You made the right choice Lilith, any other and you would have been in serious trouble. Let us take care of this heretic before…” The sister of Battle had not been paying much attention to the TechPriestess until the Metla-bomb had been pulled free from her belt and armed. With a quick gasp, Aviza found herself practically thrown backwards from Lilith’s inhuman strength.

The explosive flew towards Lucia but was quickly sent back a couple of feet from a flick of one of her shadowy tendrils that had appeared from the back of her armor. Thankfully, the explosive detonated safely away from Aviza and Lilith. The bomb had little effect upon the Euphorian, but did manage disrupt whatever dark powers she was using. What happened next barely gave Aviza any time to react, a black spiked chain wrapped around the Sister of Battles body and held her in place tightly.

The Euphorian quickly moved to the helpless Sister of Battle and struck along her lower abdomen with her demon blade. Her sapphire blue eyes twitched slightly for a moment to show that she indeed did feel pain but quickly overcame it as the spiked chain vanished . Moving back a couple of feet, Aviza kept her weapon aimed at the Euphorian while speaking to Lilith about her plan.

“Take my grenades, toss them at her and I will shoot them so they will detonate in mid-air to be as effective as possible. Do not throw the two purple metallic cylinders on my left side or a mile of this city could instantly vaporize.”

"Right, so now I'm the snarky airburst artillery launcher who's spent literally years studying weapons in particular but for some reason can't be expected to recognize weapons of mass fun on sight?" She raised an eyebrow, grumbing under her breath, too quiet for anyone else to hear, "Maybe I should've taken the bigger boobs after all."

"Look, I get that you have power armor and a neat hairdo and that gives you authority, but perhaps, just maybe, accept that I know what I'm doing?"

Regardless, she grabbed a handful of grenades and melta bombs off her belt, and tapped into each one with her cybernetics, rigging them to detonate right in front of Lucia via proximity sensor. She began running, hurling the grenades with superhuman speed as she scanned the room for turrets or something else to hack...

Nothing, at least, not at the moment.

She didn't rush to Aviza's aid as Lucia lunged with the spiked whip, Aviza was a devoted servant of the Emperor. If she died she would probably just go somewhere in the Warp and give him blowjobs for eternity. She herself, did not have that comforting luxury in the back of her mind, and now she'd pissed off the excessively powerful Slaanesh cultist. And something told her the offer of an orgy would not be considered a second time.

A thought struck her, "What are you two so angry at each other for anyway?!"

"I am not even going to respond to your comments and questions right now Lilith, perhaps after the Euphroian that is trying to kill us is eliminated." Aviza responded in a cold while her heavy bolter fired an astonishing amount of rounds through the fire and smoke that was now wildly spreading through the mansion. This dragged on for what seemed like hours, unable to tell if she was inflicting any damage upon Lucia.

Without having time react, one of the Valkyries weapon pods still had active ammunition inside of it. The numerous types of explosives went off in an exquisite portrait of destruction, pushing everyone out the front of the mansion before it collapsed in on itself resulting in a mushroom cloud of fire and smoke. All of the noise and chaos that had been erupting from the mansion had thankfully drawn the attention of the Imperial Guardsmen who she had heard conversing over her com a short while ago.

Now laying upon her back and stunned momentarily, Aviza looked up into the night sky and watched flaming debris get carried away with streams of black smoke. Rolling over then pushing her sore body off of the ground, she stood to finely see the mass of Imperial Guardsmen who had surrounded the ruined mansion.

A voice from a heavily armored tank that sat alongside other Imperial Guard vehicles and soldiers ordered all present that had left the mansion to hold their position. “State your name, rank, position in the Imperium of man, then await further orders. Failure to do so will result in termination.”

Chaos.

Chaos had consumed the mansion.

A large chunk of the ballroom had since been blown out, and the ruins were covered in a thick carpet of dust and smoke from the burning wreckage that had once been a beautiful mansion; now reduced to a burning husk.

On the opposite end of Aviza, through the thick cloud of smoke that shrouded the room, she could see the towering, feminine figure of an Euphorian in her sleek, warp crafted power armor as Lucia was getting back onto her feet, using one of her daemonswords to support herself on as she turned to glare towards Aviza with her violet eyes.

Despite the pandemonium that the ensuing explosion had created, the euhporian seemed surprisingly healthy, with only a single scratch under one of her eyes from a small piece of shrapnel cutting across her long tatoo running down from her face.

"This... ends now!" Lucia said as she gritted her teeth, standing up to her full height as she stared straight towards Aviza.

"No... not today."

However, as Lucia had all but taken a couple of steps as she was stalking menacingly towards the downed Aviza, another euphorian would suddenly warp into existence right behind her and reach out a power armored glove to grab Lucia by the back of her collar. This Euphorian wore a piece of tattered, black clothing at the side of her left hip, and her helmet had a bizarre form in that the metal around her head appeared like a set of warped hands and limbs wrapped around her face; with all but a single glowing purple eye gazing out from between two fingers.

"I will have what's mine!" Lucia screamed, trying to tear herself away from the grip of the other Euphorian!

But before she could do so, the two of them would disappear in a gust of unholy warp fire, leaving nothing behind on the spot where they stood other than a black scorch mark on the floor and the smell of sulfur in the air.

Lilith blinked dust out of her eyes as she watched the Imperial Guard storm in, the Euphorian scream something before... she guessed being teleported away by the other one?

She blinked again. This had escalated quickly. She watched a man in a tank yell things, and decided to remain silent, having rushed to a pile of rubble and taken shelter, now nearly invisible under her camo cloak.

The Sister of Battle managed to regain consciousness mere moments before Lucia had been dragged through a portal by another, much higher ranking Euphorian. The sound of a loud fizzling pop echoed through the area as the portal closed, creating a small shockwave upon the ground. "What?" Tilting her head forward, she noticed the mansion had now been completely destroyed, all that remained was a fiery husk that billowed smoke.

The sound of someone yelling out to her and Lilith motivated the Sister of Battle to push herself up from the ground. What she saw next threw her off. "Imperial Guard, was not expecting that." She thought to herself before remembering the Imperial Guard she had spoken to while stuck inside of the mansion. They ordered information from her and she was quick to reply. "Aviza Norea, Celestian, Adepta Sororitas. One of the Imperial Guards vanished down into his tanek to check with HQ to see if the information was true. A short while after, he reappeared and gave the all clear.

"Why are you dressed in that armor and not the formal combat armor for the rest of your kind?" asked one Guardsmen who quickly received a glare from Aviza. "Cultist infestation, Saaneshi, we were tying to keep things under wraps until the house blew up, now I guess the word is out. I would advise keeping this information to yourself until we are prepared to let the public know. I am sure the Inqusitor who leads us would say the same."

“... Bloody stars... I have a bad feeling about this...” Cath groaned when she saw the crazy psyker woman getting comfortable behind the driver seat. Who knew how insane she was behind the wheel... if Cath could move, she would gladly take the driver seat, but being basically unable to move now, left her to lay not so comfortable in the back of the Taurox.

“I really hope you know what you are doing, cause this thing is quite... crazy once it starts.” Cath said to Adrianne. She didn't like the fact their future prospects fell onto a crazy woman who seemed to have a thing for very fast vehicles.

'Damn it...' The soldier thought at the whole situation once again. She wanted to have her lover by her side, but for both their sakes, they had to stay away from each other... for a while at least.” Can one of you give me a weapon to hold at least...?” She asked in the end.” It will make me feel more comfortable and secure at least.”

Adrianne zoomed past Zhevon, snagging bits of her dress on some bits of the Taurus as she got on, and tearing bits of her dress off her already. Zhevon looked away at a box of ammunition in as she climbed into the drivers seat, her already very revealing dress was even more revealing, through the ordeals of the mansion. And from getting into the armored car. Zhevon swallowed as he glanced over to Adrianne, to make sure it was proper to look once again. With Catherine resting on the makeshift stretcher in the back, Zhevon took his long hooded coat off. Revealing that he was wearing a fairly plain white dress shirt with a black vest, and black tie. An older, more modest style of clothing. Taking the coat off showed his armored vambraces, which were hiding underneath the sleeves, and showed off his greaves now that the coat wasn't obscuring his legs. A stunstick was strapped to his right thigh, and he wore a belt with numerous small pouches. Zhevon put his scabbard belt back on and adjusted his gas mask and goggles. If one looked closely, they would see four somewhat hidden digital weapons strapped to the bottom of the gas mask. A nasty surprise for anyone engaging the swordsman in close combat.

Zhevon folded his coat and walked over to the driver and passenger seats, placing the coat on the passenger seat. He was careful not to not look down at Adrianne, who was sitting and marveling at the controls. He cleared his throat rather poorly and spoke up, "Adrianne, it might be cold out." He plainly said, patting the folded coat resting on the passengers seat. He went back to the turret controls just behind the drivers seat and familiarize himself with them when he heard Cath speak up.
"Can one of you give me a weapon to hold at least...? It will make me feel more comfortable and secure at least.”
Zhevon poked his head down from the turret, "Ah, yes. Um..." He looked around the interior of the vehicle, finding no weapons. He did have the laspistol stuffed into his pocket, that would have to suffice. He took the laspistol out of from his pants pocket and placed it in her hands, "It isn't much but I don't have anything bigger."

He climbed back into the turret, and still no reply from Aviza from his last transmission to her. He decided to comm again, repeating, "Aviza, ping us your location. We've borrowed a transport from the garage, we're leaving now." He poked his head down from the turret once more, looking out the front viewports, "Take us out Adrianne, try and make it slow. We don't know what's out there, if nobody knows we're leaving, I don't want to alert them with the engine roaring."

"Take us out Adrianne, try and make it slow. We don't know what's out there, if nobody knows we're leaving, I don't want to alert them with the engine roaring."

As Zhevon said that, Adrianne would touch the wheel of the Taurox, and a jolt of ominous purple electric sparks shot from the tip of her fingers and into the vehicle, dancing around in the interior inside of the Taurox as the engine roared to life, a deep rumble now emanating from the front of the hood as the powerful engine of the vehicle let out a deep rumble that echoed in the garage almost like a bass.

"I don't think this vehicle has a 'silent' mode of running." Adrianne would throw a smirk to Zhevon and his concern over stealth whilst putting on her seatbelt, though did not seem to notice his concern over her modesty.
"And don't worry, I know exactly what I'm doing!"

And with those words, Adrianne would gesture towards the switchbox sitting on the wall next to the garage gate. As if by an invisible force, the button pressed itself, but nothing happened.

Looking at this with a big frown, Adrianne would simply brood for a moment, muttering something along the lines of 'useless electronics' beneath her breath.

"Screw this, we're using this armored truck for what it's good for!" Adriane said, before suddenly hitting the gas! The already mighty rumbling of the Taurox would immediately turn into that of a howling roar as the engine came to life, and all the passengers within the vehicle would be pushed back into their seats as the vehicle surged forward with minimal spin thanks to its great traction! The wooden gate of the garage quickly approached them, before being blasted to smithereens and splinters as the Taurox rammed through the garage gate with violent force before charging out into the night air!

"Looks like we got company!"

Adrianne would speak as she saw the outlines of a line of imperial guardsmen and vehicles that had surrounded the mansion, many of them looking surprised at the sight of the armored truck that had just barged out of the garage.

However, the surprise would not last long; for soon all manner of las fire suddenly began to riddle the armored exterior of the Taurox, the lashing sound of the lasfire burning against the outside of the vehicle audible to its occupants between the roaring engine and sputtering dirt and gravel below!

" ... and we're apparently not welcome!"

Removing one hand from the wheel, Adrianne would make a gesture forward, and it was almost as if the entire vehicle was pushed forward by an invisible force, increasing their speed as they drove right off the beaten path within the garden! Turning to the left, Adrianne would flatten at least six shrubs, two trees and one marble statue as she went on a series of evasive driving through the garden as a wall of lasfire targeted them from the imperial guard lines! Anyone not wearing their seatbelt at that point would probably be thrown wildly around in the back of the truck!

"I hope you guys remembered your seatbelts!"

She said, before the next thing they could hear was the destruction of a stone banister as they drove off the main level of the garden, soared at least fifteen feet through the air before the heavy vehicle crashed into the lower portion of the mansion gardens, its great suspension causing it to bump up and down a couple of times before stabilizing as they raced off! The frightened screams of two guardsmen could be heard from outside the vehicle as they leaped out of the path of the charging Taurox as it rammed through a set of barricades with ease and drove on, leaving a trail of dirt and dust behind as it went!

"Those looked like guardsmen, didn't they?" Adrianne would comment as she glanced out through the armored slits of the Taurox, though between the las fire and occasional explosions, it was hard to see anything outside!

Aviza’s com hissed and crackled with white noise as the Inquisitors voice barely came through, just enough for the Sister of Battle to make out what he was saying. “They are coming to pick me up? Good.” thought Aviza to herself. There was no point in replying, the com she had been using was now severely damaged due to the explosion that had happened only a few moments ago and tampering with it could cause it to stop working completely.

The Imperial Guardsmen that was leading the rest of the troops left the safety of his tanks interior and stood up on top of it yelling with anger and fear. “You say a Slanneishi cult has infiltrated this world? This news must be passed on to our superiors so it can be swiftly eliminated before we are overrun.”

Keeping herself calm and cool, Aviza responded with a tone of authority. “You will do no such thing Guardsmen, stand down and hold your tongue. This is your one and only warning. The information is to be between the present troops and a few trusted other individuals.”

The Guardsmen was talking to someone down inside of his tank before straightening him and responding with a threatening and loud “No.”

With one swift movement, Aviza brought her pistol from its holster and fired a round with incredible accuracy at him. The round struck the man’s head with a crack as it traveled through his skull. His body fell limply to the side of the tank and rolled off onto the ground.

There was a moment of silence as Aviza still standing in her combat pose looked around at the rest of the Guardsmen around her who had frozen. “Am I clear?” she asked while looking back and forth to those around her. The silence remained for a moment before someone yelled out to reply for all those who remained silent. “Yes Celestian Aviza, your word is our command.”

Pulling herself back into her regular relaxed position, Aviza nodded her head once in acceptance. “Very good, I require a….” Not far from behind her, the sound of a heavy vehicle revved its engine before plowing through the wooden garage door that it had been waiting behind. “Hold your fire, they are with me!” yelled the Sister of battle as loud as possible before quickly taking cover as best she could upon the ground.

The Taurox flew past them in a mad dash. After an impressive show of how the Taurox could be turned into a stunt vehicle, Aviza stood there silent among the others with the sound of the engine fading in the distance.

A while passed before Aviza spoke. “I said hold your fire, they are part of my team.” With a sigh, the Sister of Battle knew she was going to have to hoof it quite a distance while being wounded to get back to the safe house.

Then the realization hit her that she could easily commandeer any vehicle in the premises that she chose. “I am in need of a vehicle to return to my squad and receive medical treatment, anyone willing to assist me?” The Sister of Battle looked around at everything she could choose from with a moment of delight before spotting exactly what she wanted. “Someone order the pilot of that Valkyrie to land, I will be confiscating that.”

One of the Guardsmen went wide-eyed and quickly contacted the pilot of the ship. With a low rumble, the Valkyrie vertically landed upon the lawn, and then the pilot jumped out. “Thank you.” Said Aviza politely as she walked up to the heavy multicombat fighter and positioned herself in the cockpit. A few moments later, the Valkyrie had vanished into the night sky leaving the pilot to take the place of the dead Guardsmen inside of his tank.

Trying to find the rest of her squad ended up being a simple task due to the unique vehicle they drove. Speaking into the Valkyries com, she quickly contacted the Inquisitor to inform him of where she was and where she was currently heading.

“This is Celestian Aviza to Inquisitor Zhevon and squad, I am rapidly approaching your position. Currently heading back to the safe house to send to a couple injures then will make my way to Ecclesiarchal Chapel to report the findings to Canoness Superior Andromedai once healed. Keep in mind that she will undoubtedly want your presence there alongside mine for the report. Also, head’s up in about ten seconds.”

With that, she closed her com and turned all her attention to flying. Pushing the flight stick forward, the Valkyrie decreased its altitude quickly. When it reached about five feet (or) 1.5 meters from the top of the Taurox, Aviza quickly pushed forward on the thrusters and buzzed the vehicle at an incredible speed while the deafening roar of its engines echoed through the city. Pulling back sharply upon the flight stick, the fighter quickly climbed into the sky and vanished.

A few moments later, the Valkyrie touched down upon the landing pad outside of the safe house where Aviza quickly left its cockpit and locked it secularly. Reaching out to the door of the safe house, the Sister of Battle froze with only one thought across her mind, “Where is Lilith? Did I leave her behind?”
