@Medjedovic So I think I understood the post, but I have questions now, mainly how much time actually passed for this to happen, or is the apartment building a lot smaller than I thought?

Also suppose I should specify that it wasn't exactly like Sonia was just standing there with her eyes closed. She did so to calm down and concentrate to perform her martial technique, which is related to how they work but that's not important right now. Guess I should've specifically written she would open them after the technique was activated, but that said I think it was my fault for not making that clear as I just assumed that's how everyone else would see it.

That said for the ghost to attack while she isn't looking would have to before bulwark activates, and that's where I really get confused. It would be before Orion would've left Sonia to get Rayo, and that sort of throws off the series of events to me unless everything happened very rapidly.

Anyway sorry for the long winded post, its just I'm simply confused and figured not saying anything wasn't going to do me any favors.

@Damiann47 By the time the ghost hit you Bulwark was already active. I'm not sure how large you imagined apartment to be, but between Sonia and the ghost when it spawned were some 4-5 meters and it was already moving when Sonia decided to close her eyes to calm down. I am aware she would've opened them once the technique is activated and she did, the thing is that once she opened again the ghost wasn't in front of her anymore.

Well it seems as though Rayo would be further away given how 'long' he was running for, so it would take him a longer amount of time to come back. Considering that he arrived at more or less the same time as the ghost and he had to backtrack. Not that I'm complaining mind you, it just seems the size of the apartment isn't really relevant to how far away Rayo was unless its small enough he had to backtrack or somethin. Maybe its because I was thinking of an apartment complex, like one of those multistory dealios.

I thought it was pretty big. Rayo kept mumbling about a bachelor pad.

@Eklispe I think that's sort of what happened, we assumed it was like a complex rather than a single apartment building maybe because we lost track of Rayo in the first place.

Anyway its fine, I'm not trying to change the results or anything. Post will be out for me in many hours.

@Eklispe@Leaves@Damiann47 It is apartment building, not complex, as it says in the quest description. It is not big, its total surface between rooms is less than 100m². You can fit 3 people in there comfortably, but one person will have to sleep on the couch. Rayo was never more than 10m away from the place where the ghost spawned. Admittedly confusion came because I didn't properly describe the apartment when I set up the scene, I apologize for that.

PS. What qualifies the apartment (and the building) as "one of the better" is its access to plumbing and lighting (that work because magic) which is not something most homes in Yazai and the whole new world can boast of. It is also in one of the more secure and richer districts, where you can quickly reach various services. There are also few other, smaller, quality of life details, like walls and doors which aren't cardboard, anti-fire charms, soft pillows and beds, etc.

@MedjedovicA wall made of black flames is hotter than a wall made of red flames. The hotter the flames, the more damage it would do. Make sense?

KazeXDZ's CS. Med, here's the link so you don't have to dig through OOC. By the way Kaze you still got 6 abilities on there and -Shield- is written as an absolute which is usually frowned upon. The earlier confusion about the black flame wall was likely due to the fact that you said it did double damage when we aren't using damage(in terms of numbers) as a measurement and even if we were you didn't say what damage a normal flame wall would do.

@Medjedovic Yeah, I think we all made too many assumptions which lead to the confusion. Although honestly I'm also tempted to suggest that we might want to redo some things because our characters reacted as if it were an entire complex and not as the single apartment. Like Rayo would've been just in another room and logically no one would've gone running around looking for him since he would've been right there.

@Eklispe@Leaves What do you guys think?

Eh I'm cool with w.e Rewriting it would obviously took more time and I don't think it would affect our actions enough that things would've gone terribly different. They could've conceivably gone the same way if we'd reacted properly, so I'd be more interested in continuing.

Yeah, that's why I was a little hesitant to suggest anything at all, unless Leaves wants to I'll be getting to work in my next post soon as is.
