Three months prior Andrew Myst was walking down one of his most favorite streets. He was his Khakis Pants which were made of 100% cotton, a light tan brown color. At the time he had some Adidas light gray shoes with black trim, light gray shoe laces. For his shirt he was wearing a dark gray almost black short shelved shirt. On the front it says “For successful living DIESEL INDUSTRY only the brave” with DISESEL INDUSTRY in big bold letters with a yellow color. It had the company logo on the upper right corner of his shirt. He didn’t comb his hair this morning so it was slightly wild which didn’t bother him that much. However he had four o'clock shadow. He had a habit of wearing his Rolex GMT-MASTER II watch. This watch was Oyster, 40 mm, yellow gold, and had a green dial. He carried around his IPhone in his pocket. In which he loaded up with apps from time to time.
The road he was on was mostly gravel with Pink Weeping Cherry Trees mixed with other types of trees to the side of the road. The Pink Weeping Cherry Trees varied from three feet tall, to five feet tall. With its pink leafs littering the road and falling around Andrew like snow. He was thinking how great it was going to be visiting his friend he hadn’t seen in months. He took his time since he left very early so he wasn’t in a rush to get to her place. Little did he know his friend was behind one of the Pink Weeping Cherry Trees watching him; giggling to herself. His friends name was Rachel Meadow. She had long jet black hair that was half the length of her back. Her most favorite hair clip was a silver trimmed metal butterfly with red and green jewels on the wings. It used to be her mother’s until she gave it to Rachel when she was 8 years old. Rachel loved it and there was never a day when she didn’t wear it; except when taking showers.
Rachel knew that Andrew liked to take this road to her house. She was wearing her school uniform which had short black skirt, knee high black socks, and a black coat with a white formal button up shirt under it and a red tie with black strips to finish it off. She had fair skin; she took a lot of effort to make sure she looked her best. She wore makeup but she never liked it heavy. She describes the feeling like putting mud on and letting it dry. Carefully she looks between the large tree branches watching his moment briefly before going back into hiding. She takes out a special friendship necklace that she made herself. In the bronze locket there was a picture of her, Andrew and some other friends in the picture with them. They were all at a water park when the photo was taken. When Andrew got close enough she jumped out and ran in front of him with her arms waving about.
Andrew got a little startled from the motion he caught at the corner of his eye. Watching as she skipped with her bracelets clinking. “Hey there!” she says raising her left hand waving, then putting her hand on her lap. “So, where do you think you are going?” giving him a flirty look with her body gesture and eyes. Andrew smiles and slightly closes his eyes. Rachel says “I got a present for you.” Then stretches out her left hand and opens it showing the locket. Andrew looks at it carefully and takes it from her hand gently. Andrew looks at all his friends in the photo and says “Thanks Rachel, I love it.” Then Rachel takes both of her hands and puts them on his hand. “You deserve it.” she exclaims. Rachel looks into Andrew’s eyes and leans closer to him. Rachel leads her head closer to Andrews then says “And so much more.” Andrew looks at Rachel’s face and eyes light up by the faint orange evening glow. As they got closer; Andrew carefully puts both of his hands on her cheeks. Slowly he backs up and then turns his head away. Rachel looks and narrows her eyes to examine Andrew. She takes her right hand and strokes it through his hair.
Back at the present time Andrew wakes up from his sleep with sweat and heavy breathing. He looks around his dark motel room and quickly clicks on the lamp right next to his bed. Lowering his back a little and looks up at the ceiling stretching his neck. Lay’s back in bed on his side facing the lamp. His eyes glance at the invitation he received from the orphanage. He clicks off the bright yellow lamp off and tries his best to sleep again.
