Sato Hashimoto // Corporate War Zone, F1
As they entered a clearing, the atmosphere closed in. The air felt tighter, even if nothing seemed particularly different. Soldiers lingered around, though they didn't attack the party, just like the ones that had been fighting and getting shot all around them a minute ago. Sato considered this, noting their passiveness.

The thought was interrupted by a burst of activity, as suddenly more shadows entered the clearing, mowing down the "good" shadows before pointing their weapons at the group of persona-users. It took only a single bullet whizzing past them for Sato to bolt behind some boxes. It was foolish to think that this would be an easy ride with safe shadows. Rui gave his orders, and Sato nodded. With his and Kotori's magic combined, this would be an easy fight. Even if he got wounded, Kotori was there to heal him. Which begged the question, if Kotori got hurt, could she heal herself...?

Ignoring that thought (she probably could, right?), Sato summoned his persona, a gust of wind already generating. He peered over the crates to find a target, and with the swing of his arm, Chronos launched a powerful blast of wind at one of the soldiers, tossing it back with the force. He glanced over at Kotori to see her doing the same, with her own persona summoning a bolt of lightning to hit a soldier. The flash left his eyes stinging a bit, and as he was distracted, a bullet grazed a strand of his hair. The sound and feeling of the bullet caused Sato to send himself to the ground. Too close.

Sato prepared the same attack, ready to take out another soldier. He looked over to Rui before doing so, to see how they were doing.

Ayano Wakahisa: Corporate War Zone
18/6/2015, Thursday

Ayano had been assigned to Rui's group and, along with Alexei, Sato and Kotori, decided to choose the Heaven-reaching skyscraper. If there was one thing she'd be glad about right now, it'd be the fact that she herself doesn't have to enter the tower itself, with that height, who knows how many floors the thing has? She could only hope for the best with the other members of the party though, may their feet carry them well. As the four entered the building, Ayano summoned Dantalion and a familiar computer console appeared before her, unfortunately though, it would seem that the screens would have to load for a few seconds before getting actual video feed from the party's perspective and when it did, a shocked expression adorned the girl's face.

The interior of the tower was definitely not what she expected it to be. Then again, with this hellhole of a dimension, what are you going to expect? From her screens, she could see that the inside of the structure looked like a war-torn battleground, it looked like something straight out of a History book...Yet, in the distance she could also see office equipment? Just what kind of messed up representation of the human psyche is this? Is it metaphorical? It probably is. Curiously, even the soldiers in the "war" were Shadows. That begged the question though, what kind of war is this? Who are they up against? Is it a revolution? Answers would come eventually, but some exposition would be nice...

Eventually, the party had made it to a military bunker retreating into the safe haven as the war continued to rage on. Another curious thing was the fact that the bunker they had entered had more of those Shadow Soldiers, yet they were passive and did not mind the presence of the group. So it would seem that not all shadows are bent on murdering everything that they come across...The reprieve however was soon broken as a platoon of enemy Shadow Soldiers made themselves welcome in the bunker, easily gunning down the passive soldiers the party had encountered. Without hesitation, they too fired at the party.

"Looks like you guys are in a pinch, anything I can do to help?"

Despite the fact that she could probably only scan the warriors right now, a small part of Ayano hoped that she could at least do something to help turn the tides.

Corporate War Zone - F1
21/6/2015 Sunday

The shadow soldiers were made short work of by the party, but that didn't seem to be the concern for these enemies. Even though they were taken down relatively quickly, their guns were also pretty painful, almost like real guns, so that required the party to take cover if there were soldiers present. Still, they were taken down quickly.

Ayano upon having scanned them, suddenly got information on the location of the rest of them, and it didn't look good. Displayed by her Persona, she was looking at a map of the whole dungeon, and the indicators she picked up which were these shadow soldiers seemed to start swarming in. The map showed that there was a way out, and it was up ahead. No matter how strong or how quickly the party might take these shadows down, there were just too many of them, plus there didn't seem to be an end.

The only option was to go on ahead, and fast. Though this knowledge was not yet known to the party, Ayano needed to let everyone know.

Play of Control - F1
21/6/2015 Sunday

The attacks from behind were working, but it was only the beginning, as the shadow was merely protected by the armor. Once the armor was off, the shadows moved faster, though they seemed to not be able to take much damage at all. As the unarmored shadows backed out in an attempt to run, the other shadows jumped in to cover their allies escape. Swiftly, Kazuki jumped over them with his Persona, and rained lightning on one of them, before landing into position to strike the other one. His move was guaranteed to take them down, but it put him in a bad spot, on the other hand, he was also now in position to strip the armor off of the other two that charged in early.

The one he tried to take down after hitting the first one with Zionga was now out of range, sighing out of annoyance he simply turned and slashed away the armor of the two behind him, exposing them for the party to take down.

Akane Hanazawa // Mirror World - Crossroads ---> Play of Control - F1
Sunday, June 21st, 2015

Things seemed to be going well but it seems that now that they are free of the armor, they can move a bit faster. How annoying. Just as they backed away, attempting to run for it, more shadows came to cover their escape. How sweet, camaraderie between shadows. Though, Kazuki made sure that didn't happen as he jumped over them and attacked. While it put him in a bad spot, he was still in position to strip the others of their armor, though the initial one he attacked was now out of his range.

Slashing away the armor, Akane and the others took the que and attacked, with Akane going in for another Kill Rush.

Shizuka Otonashi || Shinza Shopping Square || June 21 SUN

Gasp. 'The latest volume is finally out!' An excited teen pulled out a shoujo manga from its bookcase as hidden eyes sparkled at the cover of the manga. It was the volume she was waiting for so long in the series, due to the fact that the last volume left off as quite a cliff hanger. One of the love interests of the female protagonist fell into a coma, meanwhile the other love interest had finally confessed! Oh, what was the protagonist going to do? This volume she has in her hands has the answer to the nagging curiosity Shizuka had for weeks.

As the raven haired girl made her way towards the cashier, her gaze caught sight of a familiar figure. A pause as she thought, Who is it....? But a moment after, Shizuka flinched at recognizing who it was. It was Moritomi, Mako, one of the loyal customers of the cosplay cafe she worked at. It just so happens that today was not a day that she placed on her Shizu get up since stopping by this new manga bookstore was not in her plans for the day.

The hat on her head could help hide her face along with her long bangs, sure, but Sato, another student from her school, seemed to have figured her out despite the get up she placed on as Shizu. To avoid being seen and avoid trouble, Shizuka brisk walked towards the cashier.

Ayano Wakahisa: Corporate War Zone
18/6/2015, Thursday

After scanning the shadows, various red lights popped up from her screen. At first there were few, but within seconds those few red lights multiplied like bacteria with no signs of stopping. She brought up a map of the area and those red lights were all moving towards the party...Although, the exit was just up ahead of them too, the question was, would the party be able to sustain fire long enough to get out alive?

Typing in her key frantically, Ayano relayed the information to Rui, her voice frantic,

"Guys you need to stop fighting now! Get out of there now before all of you are dead! The exit is just up ahead."

Matt- Sunday
Play of control F1

After breaking off the armour and learning the shadows become more annoying as they become faster Matt watched as the leader tried to stop them from running away.
When an opening was made for the party to attack Matt summoned Kresnik again to deal another blow.
“Alright this time let's set it all ON FIRE ‘Maragialo’”
Matt called out as he let off some beloved flames.

Sato Hashimoto // Corporate War Zone, F1
Everything was going according to keika-- err, plan. Except it sorta wasn't. The magic Sato was using made quick work of his targets, which was great, except more soldiers kept flooding into the room. Which meant that they weren't getting anywhere. Additionally, the guns the shadows had seemed like they acted like actual guns. As in, a direct hit might be a little too much for Kotori to heal. Hopefully that wasn't the case, but he wasn't about to try to find out.

As Sato crouched behind boxes, with bullets ripping holes in them, he waited impatiently. Sure, he threw out a Garula once in a while, but without any kind of area of affect, his attacks hardly made a dent in the horde of shadows. His confidence was fading quickly, but it was as thoughts of retreat entered his mind that they heard Ayano's voice. "Guys you need to stop fighting now! Get out of there now before all of you are dead! The exit is just up ahead."

So the same, but the opposite of what Sato was thinking about. All they'd have to was make a big enough cut in their forces so that they could rush through to the exit. Sato looked over to the others, nodding as if telling them that he's ready to go whenever they were. If they had any chance of getting over to the exit they'd all have to concentrate their fire at once. A good Garula or two mixed with everyone else's attacks had to be enough to cleave a passage.

Kotori Shirohane - Corporate War Zone: Floor 1 | Sunday

Still cowering behind the crates and reflexively ducking even deeper whenever a shadow bullet whizzed by or struck the wood with a loud crack, Kotori was trying to tell herself that those weren't real guns and 'just' shadows which wouldn't really be as dangerous as the real thing - but the success thereof was leaving a bit to be desired as she recoiled yet again at the cracking sound of a strike against the crate. Luckily though, it seemed that with Sato and her attacking the shadows, Rui and Alexei had enough of a distraction to charge in and take out the soldiers with their close ranged attacks. Their attack thus lulling, it allowed for both Sato and herself to peek out again and use their respective attacks to take care of any stragglers; making short work of the entire squad.

However, there was little time for them to breathe easily - as just a moment later, Ayano sent her rather worrying telepathic message; informing them of the very real threat they were facing. And indeed, a quick peek out over the trenches did reveal a sizeable number of shadowy enemies rushing towards them. Though they'd managed to take out the previous group, Kotori too had strong doubts whether they'd be able to take down so many more - but luckily, Ayano had already mapped out the way for them; leaving Rui to press onwards immediately. Given the sheer number of enemies, Kotori didn't have any intentions of sticking around any longer than necessary and was quick to follow; running as fast as she could as she frantically looked about to see if any shadows were trying to attack them and, between sharp breaths, calling out for Kikuri-Hime to send down a bolt of lightning onto them as Rui and Alexei cleared the path immediately ahead of them of any would-be obstacles.

Noboru-Play of Control

Noboru slammed away at the armors, hoping to do damage. His fists rapidly slammed against all of the metals, making thud sounds over and over.

"Cmon guys. You all can hit damn harder than that you weaklings. Here, i'll even throw you a bone! Atlas! Matarukaja!"

Atlas popped up, powering up all the team mates. Noboru hoped they could actually hit harder now, maybe finally do some damage.

"You know what? Fuck it i'll do damage myself. Atlas, it's time to go on a Rampage! Raggggghhh!"

Corporate War Zone - F1 > F2
21/6/2015 Sunday

The soldiers began to noticeably pour into the trench, but everyone's spells and attacks were bulldozing a way through. In moments the party found themselves in a frantic sprint as soldiers began to drop down into the trenches behind them, and soon they saw the door at the end of the trench. Rui was the first to reach it, pulling it open before entering it along with everyone else, and then there was a silence following the slamming of the door.

The party turned to see what they had just entered... The immediate thought was a prison, as if the steel bars and cells didn't give it away. Everything here seemed to be in some depressing gray, and the sounds of a child crying or speaking some words near inaudible could be heard amongst the silence.

"I'm convinced we're not in a tower...", he said.

"Well, let's keep moving. Ayano, let us know if you detect anything", and with that he led the way.

The party traversed the cells, there were shadows behind some of the cells, but the party recognized them... They were soldiers from the last area. They were very timid, didn't even attempt to fight, not to mention they were unarmed, but pretty soon the party came upon a door at the end of a long hallway of cells... "Solitary". It was open. With nowhere else to advance, they opened the door and stepped into the darkness, and with an echoing click, the lights within the room switch on, and towering above them, was a gigantic shadow in prisoner wear. Handcuffed and unable to attack correctly, the party managed to roll out of the way of it's clumsy advance, but everyone felt it. That power was no joke.

"Another shadow... Ayano, start scanning", he said. As he examined the shadow, he also noticed a door behind it, though locked by chains, it looks like this shadow was barring their way forward.

Play of Control - F1 > F2
21/6/2015 Sunday

Everyone's attacks were dispatching the shadows fairly well, but it didn't change they were still outnumbered. Between Akane's Kill Rush and Noboru's own fists, they weren't reducing their numbers quickly enough, but pretty soon the whole room was ablaze as Matt summoned his Persona and unleashed a Maragilao, decimating all of the shadows that were exposed, and exposing the ones that still had their armour on, which were quickly dispatched by Kazuki.

"Great! I don't detect anymore, good work", the party eased up a bit after hearing that they were clear for the time being.

"Alright then, let's keep moving", Kazuki said, leading onto the next area.

The party came to a set of stairs, with a sign pointing up those stairs, it appears these stairs lead to the theatre according to the sign. It was quite obvious this is where they had to go to advance, so they did, and pretty soon they were walking down the theatre's seats after opening the double doors to them. The stage in front had some dancers upon them, and the seats around them were near empty, but shadowy silhouettes that did nothing would be seated in some random spots... As soon as the party got close to the stage, every single pair of eyes turned to look at them.

The dancers on the stage stopped, and by their eyes too, they were also shadows. Suddenly, a ramp formed at the center of the stage in front of the party, and the floor below them moved quickly like a conveyor belt, until the party was at the very center of the stage, surrounded by the four dancers. It was obvious what this was...

"Four shadows... They seem fairly strong. I'm detecting that they each have different weaknesses. Matthew, the one nearest you is weak to ice, but the one next to it is weak to fire... I'm still scanning the other two though", in any case the battle started, the dancers seemed to summon elemental attacks with their dancing, the one in front of Matthew twirled and flames flew out from it in a beautiful spinning manner, while the other dancers began to prepare their own attacks.

Akane Hanazawa // Mirror World - Play of Control - F1 ---> F2
Sunday, June 21st, 2015

As usual, Noboru is running his mouth and actually thinks he can outdo Akane. "Hmph, I'll show you a real hit." she grinned as she went in for another attack on the shadows. But while they were eliminating them one by one, the group was still quite outnumbered, though, Matt's Maragilao changed all that, along with more solid attacks from Kazuki.

With all that, they were turned to dust and they were done with all the enemies on the floor, coming across a staircase, they made their way to the next floor. Following the trail and going through the doors, Akane could only stare and give a blank expression. Dancing shadows? Those fuckers get stranger by the minute. What next? Shadow prostitutes? Food Venders?

With a sigh, "Let's just get this over with and move on." Cracking her joints, "Hmm, going off that, we can safely assume the other two might also have elemental weaknesses? Hmm?" Not like it matters since I have no elementals. As if I'll need them, I'll just smash through them.

Saving the one weak to fire to Matt, she decided to target the one closest to her, one of the yet to be scanned ones. Well, we can't wait around forever for Megumi to scan them all. Calling upon Setanta, she went in with a Vile Assault.

Sato Hashimoto // Corporate War Zone, F2
When the timing was right, with the horde of shadows thinned just enough, the group started a mad sprint to the door at the end of the trench. Rui opened it as he got there first, and everyone piled inside. A jarring silence fell over the team when the door slammed shut, nothing but the breathing of four teens.

Sato straightened his back, looking around to see where they ended up running into. It looked like some kind of prison, with all the dull grey bars and cells. As they stepped through the weird shadow prison, "soldiers" filling the cells, there would be a complete silence if it weren't for the occasional murmur that sounded like a child's voice. When he first heard it, Sato was convinced he was going insane, but when he considered that the others seemed to hear it too, and their current location, it became clear it was just another one of those creepy mirror world things.

Eventually, they got to the end of the hallway and reached a door labelled "Solitary". It didn't take a genius to figure out this was the "correct" way to go. Correct in quotation marks because nobody actually wanted to go in there, an unlit solitary confinement cell. But they of course had to, and when they did, the lights soon flicked on with a click. Sato reeled back, not because of the lights, but because of the shadow towering over them. It was colossal, decked out in prison wear. Luckily, it had massive handcuffs on its arms, making its charge at the group less than graceful. Everyone dived out of the way, though even though they could dodge it, he could feel the power behind its attacks when it collided with the wall.

Rui called for Ayano to start scanning it. Just waiting for Ayano to tell them what to do wasn't exactly a reliable strategy, so Sato summoned his persona and drew an arrow from his quiver. Nocking it into his bow and pulling it back, he aimed up at the shadow. Right before he let the arrow fly, Chronos imbued the arrow with some kind of dark purple light. "Poison Arrow," He muttered to himself, right before releasing the arrow. It whipped straight at the shadow's side.

Matt- Sunday
Play of control F1-F2

The battle ended pretty easily after the barrage of attacks and Matt ran off with the group up a set of stairs that was obviously where they had to go. Of course at the end of the stairs things started getting weird.
“this shiz is gettin real weird” Matt commented as the analysis was done.
After hearing the weaknesses of the two near him Matt let out a grunt.
“damn it, its great and all that there's one i can burn but can someone else pick the one that seems to be eyeing me off?”
While he spoke Matt thought if it was worth the risk of hitting them both with fire or hitting the other one first hopefully reducing numbers.
“ahh fuck it KRESNIK” summoning his persona Matt prepared to attack “attack the one weak to fire AGILAO”

Kotori Shirohane - Corporate War Zone: Floor 2 | Sunday

With an echoing bang, Rui and Alexei slammed the door shut as Sato and Kotori ran through; the former having arrived just moments ahead of them. As if the loud noise had drowned out everything else or perhaps even deafened them, Kotori only noticed the odd silence after several sharp breaths from the run up to the door. Furthermore, she was worried at first that the shadows might try to break through the door - but not a sound came from the other side or, for that matter, this one. Glancing about did not exactly serve to lift her mood however - instead, she saw that they had gone from a wide open battlefield to a somewhat dimly-lit prison complete with cells all along the walls.

Peering inside the cells, Kotori immediately feared that the shadows within might come out and attack them - but instead, they barely even roused themselves from their sullen demeanour as the group slowly started traversing the prison. The uncertainty of what to expect combined with the dreary grey that was all about them left Kotori nervously looking about - the fact that this place was rather sparse on lightning not at all helping her nervousness; to the point that she even started imagining faint sounds. However, when she realised that the others seemed to be looking around confusedly too, it became apparent that those faint noises - children's voices, on closer inspection - weren't just in her head. That, however, was not very reassuring; even if Rui gave to command to continue onwards.

Despite the rather creepy atmosphere though, nothing ever seemed to come of it - even as they arrived at a door leading into what looked like a large room. It was difficult to tell though, as there were no lights whatsoever illuminating it; only the barely-sufficient light of the hallways they were still in shone some clarity on the immediate entrace area. Taking a deep breath and stopping her hands from nervously fiddling as she clutched them to her chest, Kotori followed the others into the room - after all, there was no other way forward, no matter how little she liked the look of it.

She almost jumped in frightened surprise when the lights flickered to life with a loud clacking sounds - and again when she saw the huge figure standing in the middle of the room. Clad in black-and-white striped prison wear and enormous handcuffs binding it, it was certainly fit its surroundings - but there was no time to think what it might mean as the creature did not take kindly to its surprise visitors and immediately started to charge at the group. Kotori hastily ducked and ran aside as did everyone else - before a thunderous boom echoed throughout the room as the giant collided with the wall; unable to correct its path or come to a stop with the hindrances that were its cuffs. The impact was so great, Kotori could even feel it - though she wasn't certain if it was the sound resonating or the floor had actually shook a little. Either way though, that was not an attack she wanted to get caught in - or anyone else, for that matter.

"Kikuri-Hime," Kotori called even as she ran in the opposite direction of this giant - she didn't want to stay too close to it after seeing its destructive strength after all. Rui called for Ayano to begin her scan whilst Sato used the brief moment the giant needed to recover from its own attack to loose an arrow at it - Kotori however hesitated to attack; first checking to see that everyone else was still in good condition whilst keeping a nervous eye out for any attacks from the enormous shadow prisoner.

Mako Moritomi//Shinza Shopping Square

Sunday, June 21, 2015

==~==

As Mako browsed the shelves, he caught a glance of movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned to see a girl with black hair, with bangs that hung down in her eyes, was looking at him strangely. He raised an eyebrow, which only raised higher when the girl flinched at something, then began walking briskly away, book clutched in her hands desperately, like she was afraid he- or someone- might steal it from her. Mako blinked, momentarily confused. Did he offend her in some way? Had they met before, perhaps, and he had demonstrated a remarkable lack of tact or something? Maybe she was just shy?

Hmm. She seems familiar, somehow. I just can't place where from. Mako wandered after the girl, who was making a beeline for the cashier. Unfortunately, it seemed the register was temporarily unattended- the cashier must have stepped in the back or something. Mako shrugged internally, walking over to the girl, clearing his throat to announce his presence.

"Excuse me. I, ah, couldn't help but notice you seemed... disconcerted. Are you all right?" he asked tentatively.

Ayano Wakahisa: Corporate War Zone
18/6/2015, Thursday

Ayano's eyes lit up when she saw the overflow of soldiers rushed in on to the party with guns blazing, if the rest of the party weren't in any life-threatening danger right now, it'd be just like watching an action movie. Casting her thoughts aside, she was glad to see that Rui and the others were able to pave a path with brute force and eventually made their way to the door. As they entered, the girl's screen was immediately greeted by a slate gray color, it looked unimaginative to say the least. The color almost made her feel dull and lifeless just by looking at her screens, the cells in the area made it clear as to what area they were in right now; a prison. She wouldn't be surprised if the words she were hearing prisoners or just mad ravings of the owner of this dungeon, but who or WHAT was crying in the distance?

The brunette nodded at the leader's orders, keeping an open eye on all of her screens just in case the prisoners decide to pile-on them this time or some sort of Silent Hill-esque abomination decides to make itself welcome to the group. As they traversed the prison, there were numerous Shadow Soldiers that just looked sad and frightened, and for a moment the girl couldn't believe that of all the things to make her feel sad it was a shadow. That sadness came to an end with anxiety overcame her when a cell labelled with "Solitary" was met by the party, beyond the door Ayano could feel a presence, one that was filled with malice and power...She wasn't sure if it was THE shadow already but judging from their time in the dungeon, it would be a far cry from it. When the door opened, the only thing that Ayano's screens picked up were pitch black. For a moment she thinks that it was an error or fault of her Persona, but no, it was something more terrible than that...

The lights flickered on to reveal towering shadow in the usual prison wear, similar to the ones they saw before. Despite its restrained state she could feel that this thing was not to be underestimated. With Rui giving orders, Ayano quickly began to scan the giant, tapping her keys
One of her screens showed the back of the giant, a red reticle pointing directly at it and beeping. Her left screen displayed that it was the glaring weak point of the monster, but how can the party strike it when it keeps darting and weaving? She looked back at the center screen, clicking at the image of the shadow and analyzing it carefully, the girl noticed a distinct key that could be struck and the loose shackles of the boss. With a grin, Ayano immediately relayed the information to the party.

"The giant's weak point is its back. It's moving a lot so I think you should restrain it with its own shackles! I'm not sure about the key though..."

Corporate War Zone - Solitary
21/6/2015 Sunday

The battle progressed with a stalemate for awhile, but soon as Ayano's scan was done, what they were seeing made more sense. The key was... Well, the key. It looked a little loose, but with a few hits it might lock the restraints. It was a pretty strange kind of handcuff honestly, but it looks like it worked like that.

"I'll strike the key, the rest of you focus your attack on it's back", he ordered. With that he darted in first, with a Sukukaja, letting him swiftly dodge it's next unfocused attack, and position himself by the key. At that point he let out a barrage of attacks alternating between his own blade and Askr, before jumping again, and plunging down with his Persona's attack, Mighty Swing.

The shadow heaved and then fell, suddenly unable to properly move. It seems those restraints were connected to it's legs too, but as it fell, it began to struggle, and the key began to fiddle around.

"Quick! It looks like it might free itself if we take too long!"

Play of Control - Stage
21/6/2015 Sunday

Akane's attack did a fair bit of damage, but no elemental attack meant it stayed on it's feet. Despite how strong Vile Assault was, it wasn't enough to do any significant damage. She was going to need to follow up with someone who had struck a weakness. Meanwhile, Matthew managed to repel the dancer and cause it to fall to the ground, putting him in position to pummel it again.

Kazuki had successfully figured out the one weak to lightning and began work on it, on the other hand Noboru's attacks were missing, before he was suddenly hit by a bolt of lightning and forced on his back foot.

This seems to be a fairly simple fight, but should they focus one at a time? Or continue the way they are...? Kazuki seemed too focused to give any kind of order like that, however the shadow he was focusing was sufferring, and would soon shortly be destroyed.

Kotori Shirohane - Corporate War Zone: Floor 2, Solitary | Sunday

Another thunderous crash caused yet more clouds of dust to fall from the ceiling above as the giant shadow rushed down one of the group; only for them to dodge aside at the last moment. Luckily, no one had actually taken such an attack head-on, but Kotori feared that if the fight dragged on ever longer, the fatigue would leave someone to slip up eventually - a prospect she was not very eager to see the results of. This was not exactly aided by the fact that she shadow seemed to be mostly shrugging off their attacks without much sign of wavering, as befit something of its size - at least until Ayano's voice telepathically reached them; her scans having finally detected their opponent's weakpoints.

Rui immediately put himself forward to take care of the literal key component of this fight whilst everyone else should ready themselves to exploit the opening thereafter. Though she thought that deliberately putting oneself in the path of this giant did not exactly sound very healthy, it seemed the only way - and just in case things didn't go to plan, she kept herself and Kikuri-Hime ready to cast a healing spell should the need arise. Luckily though, Rui managed to slip out of the way of the charging shadow and instead bring himself into a prime position to strike at the key. Between the strikes of both him and Askr, the key was driven into the shackles; causing the shadow to briefly tense up as the restraints tightened around its arms and legs before falling forward with yet another crash.

Rui barely even needed to call out for the rest to press their advantage before a barrage of attacks was loosed upon the prone giant as Alexei, Sato and Kotori all turned their focus on it. "Kikuri-Hime," Kotori called as she extended one arm toward the exposed back of the creature. A bright flash and roaring thundercrack immediately followed her next word as she cast what offensive magic she had: "Zionga." But despite the evident increase in strength compared to Kikuri-Hime's initial offensive capabilities, she still remained worried whether it would really be enough to put down the giant for good; readying herself to either heal any would-be retaliation or quickly vacate the path of yet another charging attack.

While she was sure she did it some damage, though, her not having an elemental attack is really putting her at a disadvantage in this fight. But despite this, she couldn't help but laugh at Noboru. "Where's all that bravado from before Noboru? You need to actually hit them to damage them." she teased, referring to what he said in the previous battle.

It'd probably go much faster if we decided to focus on one at a time or focus on two by doing teams but I don't think any of them will actually listen at this point. She thought, glancing at the others, especially Kazuki who seems a bit too focused, considering he's supposed to be the leader and all. Well, it doesn't matter considering his opponent looks like it's about dead anyways.

Either way, considering this isn't the boss, and considering their opponents don't seem to be that strong and the fact these aren't the bosses, it would be awfully boring to simply gang up on them. After all, she needed to get her fill of fighting before they wrap things up with the dungeon. Though, considering they were there to save someone, she probably shouldn't voice that thought out loud.

Having Setanta with another Vile Assault, she also heads into battle with the shadow with her Katana.
