Just got surprised by daylight savings time. It's always odd when you look down at the clock and you've lost an hour.

Looks like the Ashkari sure had a lot of fun in the last century... and by fun I mean from a saurian perspective. From a human perspective, HOLY CRAP THAT'S A LOT OF DEATHMURDERPLAGUE.

Just to remind you all that I'm not a lazy tart, here's the world map thus far (barring Scalethein's territorial expansion, and the last posts of the nations not mentioned).

Okay, so there's a LOT to be said about the Zaqiri Invasion of Scalethein, but that's not coming up yet. Still more work to be done there. Working with Frengo and Neo on this.

It's one hell of a war, to say the least.

I'm working on the population numbers for the trolls and for Bet Aybar, and realized that while each troll is like a squad of troops in and of himself, I still needed a waaaay higher population to match Scalethein's millions. For instance, just doing simple math on the Roman Empire's peak population of 45 million in the 2nd century CE and the peak army size of 450,000 (mostly auxiliaries) in 211 under Diocletian; if there are 3 million people in Bet Aybar, the standing army is about 72,000.

So an army of 500 trolls out of a population of 8000 makes sense, but 18,000 trollspawn warriors should really come from a population around 300,000 - less if they are "barbarian" type clans. So I'm going to make an executive call and increase the population of both trolls and their ratio to trollspawn (while keeping in mind that trolls are kind of 20-foot badass mofos and need lots of munchies) over the next century.

Well our army during the invasion peaked at 70,000 - and that was everything we could feasibly muster before going all Russian and sending in waves after waves of civilians.

I reckon Uthein's about 2 million, with a million being situated in and around each of the mining and smelting towns. So like, 7 million Dwarves? I couldn't guestimate the Kobolds, but they're a randy lot... maybe nearer 10 million? I'll have to converse with Neo.

I frankly have no idea concerning the population of the kobold race. They mate often and with just about anyone, can eat just about anything without worry, and are small enough in statue to not take up much room meaning you can pack a great many in a small space.

So I have no idea, if anyone more number/housing/kobold savvy than I is among us I'm more than willing to receive help and admit the wisdom of others.

Yeah, which I don't mind. Slow-going RPs aren't bad unless they slowly go from "slow-going" to "dead".

PRETTY SURE I'll have enough time today to finish the last portion of our big joint post Frengo, Neo and I plan to post. Fingers crossed.
