Aethir Onfeigh was the youngest son of Lord Onfeigh and the youngest member of the Onfeigh family. His early years of life were spent alone in his families estate always being assessed, always being watched by the imperial guards posted around his home. Immense pressure was put on him growing up. He was never the most polite, never the most skilled, never the most successful. And it was UNFAIR! This pressure was only made worse by the fact that his elder brother Kilgaris always was top in his class, being praised for power and excellence and had also joined the sith academy, well on his way to becoming a powerful sith when he was older... Over time this pressure evolved into intense hate for the imperials and especially his brother. Unable to take it much longer he enrolled into the sith academy himself hoping to become as good as his brother. Although he got in and did ok he was still always in the shadow of his brother and the better, more powerful sith students. As his brother had focussed mainly on Trakata and using the dark side as his main weapon Aethir went in to do the same learning the basics of Trakata. Over time however he discovered his strength in the force wasn't strong enough and Trakata to not flow well enough for him. Deciding to stop he decided to focus on the blade, devoting his life to become an assassin. Shrouded in darkness. However he had failed in his first stab at success and the life of an assassin isn't exactly smiled upon. This made him feel insignificant compared to his peers, he did not like this. His life was filled with disappointment and stress...
Moving on a couple of he became an apprentice of the Lord Exculir, a reasonably well known sith with a medium sized powerbase looking for an assassin to do his bidding. He had finally achieved something in his eyes that was great. Something worth life. The first time he had been an equal to his brother. He went back to his childhood home to share the news! Alas when he arrived all he discovered was the fact that his brother had become a Titled Apprentice and his achievements were barely remembered for a minute. This was the day he vowed to destroy his brother eventually and prove his worth to the sith.
Serving his master faithfully for 2 and a half years the day came when his masters true apprentice struck him down and left Aethir master-less. He now goes to the Kaggath to seek a new master, maybe even Darth Nyssis
His main goal in life is to show his superiority, destroy his brother and make a name for himself.
