Arya didn't anger easily. But right now she was pissed. The meeting she had had an hour ago with her commanders, to brief her on her team's mission, had left her with more questions than before the meeting. And... "Only seven of us? On this suicidal mission?!" She growled, plunging her adamantite blade, Maellartarch, several inches into the concrete of one of the walls of the hangar her team was meant to meet in in a few minutes. In the middle of the hangar sat an airship the size of a aircraft carrier, the words "The SDF Invincible" emblazoned on its sides in gold. "No backup in any way? Just my team and an airship?" She heaved the claymore out of the concrete, leaving a deep sword shaped hole. The blade itself was undamaged. In addition, they had been very evasive in terms of the intel they were giving her, seemingly only giving her the bare minimum. "I've been here for 20 years and am a lieutenant-major! And they treat me like a private?!" The sword flicked out again, slicing a chunk of concrete out of the wall, the chunk hitting the floor with a thunk. She sheathed her sword and braced herself against the wall, struggling to regain her composure. She couldn't meet the members of her team in this state. After a minute of deep breathing, she had calmed down.
But still, what were her commanders not telling her? This mission was supposedly extremely important to the welfare of both the SDF and the rest of the universe. Yet, they were only giving her a single squad and next to no information. Then a worrying thought came to her. "What if they did give me everything they knew?" She mumbled to herself, the thought making her feel cold. She shook herself and forced on a poker face. "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it." Arya thought to herself as she walked to side of The Invincible to wait for her team members to arrive.

Deucalion had been briefed and that wasn't an exaggeration. The whole meeting was so short some could say that it hadn't really happened at all. Which was just as well. Sometimes too much information could be a bad thing. What with bad intell, and the best laid plans of mice and men going to waste. The simpler the better he always said, if he spoke more often. It gave him, and whatever team mates he was going to have, ample room to move about.

The man was large, and wide. He stepped into the hangar like a tiger walking into a new cave. There was a weariness about him, a sense of paranoia that came from experience, not fear. There wasn't anything remarkable about his appearance, besides his size of course, and the fact that some of his body parts weren't the same shades as the others. His eyes weren't the same either, but a pair of cheap sunglasses hid the fact. He paused to look around, taking note of the shuttle, the woman, and the damage she'd probably be responsible for.

With a nod he stepped up to her. "You the commander?"

The Invincible… It was an impressive vessel, much more impressive than anything that Jainus had ever been on. Always travelling by dropship or some sort of standard military craft. No, this ship was much more impressive in size and design. He could see himself getting into quite a bit of trouble aboard this ship. As Jainus made his way from his assigned quarters, he made his way through the ship to meet with the commander, a Miss Arya Lightwood. He saw a perfect opportunity to make his entrance, to pop in and make sure that everyone knew he was there, it just wouldn’t be like him to not. With a smirk and a devilish look in his eyes, Jainus projected a portal onto the wall a bit to the left of Arya. What looked like blue flames licked out from the portal as Jainus popped up a second portal beside himself and stepped through it, brandishing his blade over his left shoulder while he stepped through.“So, did anyone say they needed a specialist or something? I mean I’m not that guy, but I am pretty special.” He spoke as he closed the portals behind him, putting his sword in its sheath on his back. Jainius pulled out a candybar shortly thereafter and offered a piece to Deucalion before taking a sizable bite out of the bar and moving to lean on the commander’s shoulder. “Well, if this is how cheery everyone is going to be through this venture, I suppose I’ll have to lighten the mood...hmm?”

Arya turned her eyes to look at Deucalion and inclined her head. "Yes, I'm Lieutenant-Major Arya Lightwood, but you can just call me Arya." She replied, taking in the being's appearance. She had been given files on all the to be members of her team, but the SDF for some reason didn't have much info on this being, except that its name was Deucalion and was able to be trusted. Hearing the portals open, she turned her attention towards the man stepping out of one of them, and sighed as he leaned on her. She pushed him off of her and said in an exasperated tone "If you had done that to any other officer, or if you had arrived three minutes earlier, I would have had you drop and give me fifty just for that." She knew this person too. Jainus Theron, apparently ex-military personnel. Or, should she say, reinstated personnel, seeing as he was on this mission. She wasn't too sure how she felt about him, but her superiors seemed to think he'd be able to do the job, so she decided to trust him. "In the future, please remember I'm your superior." She warned him half-heartedly.

Tristan was a bit big for any normal airship however found a little extra comfort due to the size of the beast he would be getting a lift in. He walked over to it and took a lap around it he found that it was armed for serious combat. Nuke tips? For what? A little out of date wouldn't you say? Maybe even ineffective? He thought. Tristan ended his run by the gathering next to what he assumed was the door they were going to use to board the monster of a ship. "Sargent Major reporting for duty ma'am," he said to a familiar face. "Nice to see you again ma'am." he added with a smile. After that he saluted her and turned to face the others gathered there he gave them both a nod and introduced himself with a friendly handshake.

Not long after the first few members arrived at the airship, to report to the woman in charge of this operation. A skinny and pretty young looking boy, who looked greatly out of place among the group of tough, battled trained warriors, shuffled in with a nervous little smile on his thin lips. He hardly looked ready for a fight, in fact, he seemed to struggle with just drawing in a full breath into his lungs. He was very sickly, not just his breathing and his dark eye sockets, but his body appeared so thin, so frail that just hugging him wrong could cause him injury, yet there he was, part of the team.
As he entered the area where everyone waited, he couldn't help but to stop and took a moment to look up at the ship, his expression in awe at the sheer size of the airship, it was like nothing he had ever seen before.

Quickly noticing the others who had gathered, he closed his mouth, and carefully walked around them, almost hoping not to be seen by them. Maybe he could just make himself known only when he needed too, because surly after seeing him they wouldn't want him around. The only reason he was here int he first place, was because of his medical expertise.
He should just, stand out of the way, and let the trained solders handle everything else. That is what he first thought anyway, he soon stopped himself, fidgeting with his fingers. That was a selfish thought, he should introduce himself so that they knew he was at least there, otherwise it might cause trouble for all of them. They looked so tough though, it made him nervous the idea of approaching them. Waiting for her to finish talking to the others, and subtly avoiding the man giving hand shakes he approached the one in charge. He wondered to himself though, how did he always end up getting into these situations?

"Excuse me, Ms lieutenant-major?" His voice was hardly louder than a whisper, and while smiling brightly, he walked to her with nervous little steps "My name is Mentis, I am here to report in, as, your medic"
He suddenly dropped his smile for a moment, placing this thin fingers to his lips, and glancing skywards as he thought of something "That is what I am suppose to say, right?" He looked to her again. He then smiled as he changed his mind about the question, and took a few steps back from her, and cast his eyes down "No, you are busy, I should not be asking questions, I apologize"

Arya smiled and nodded at Tristan, having known him for almost her whole time in the force. Although, it seemed as if he was unusually cheery today. Turning her attention to the sickly boy in front of her, she said "Why are you so nervous? I'm not going to bite you. Welcome to the team, Mentis." She was still not too sure about the idea of bringing along a 14 year old as their medic, especially one who looked like they'd topple over if she blew on him. But her CO had been insistent on the inclusion of the boy, claiming they were one of the best medics in Idris. Well, as long as she kept him out of combat, he could prove to be quite useful if what her CO told her was true. "And don't worry about that Lieutenant Major stuff. Just call me Arya. We're all friends here, right?" She looked up at the hangar door and glanced at her watch. "There should be two others. Where are they?" She thought to herself.

I am very excited to be back out on another major mission. A man of my size was just used as another piece of machinery on a normal day, carting around ammo and supply crates. But today marked the start of yet another mission, what looked to be a ridiculously easy mission judging by the skin and bones that just walked in calling himself "Mentis". Then again why would I and Deucalion be on this mission? People don't just recruit tanks like us for any normal mission, and what about big shot over there? Mr. Portals wouldn't be here either, wait, he shouldn't be here anyway! He was discharged from the force because of a mission that he sabotaged, almost killing his whole squad, including me. However that's beside the point. If they need a tactical advantage like him so bad that he was reinstated this would be an insanely difficult go around. Then whats the point of the little one? Pilot? Regardless, I'm sure he will be of some use or else he wouldn't be here. I did hear that most of the wizards in the dragon academy were small and thin, this is different though, he looks abused, or malnourished. After I thought about all my options including every Pro and Con that would result, which took me a solid 4.7 seconds, I chose to wait and see if Arya would make everyone introduce themselves. I eventually got bored and started digging through all the gear we had laying around and started taking inventory. I searched all of the supplies entering the ship just to be careful. I reported back to Arya with the news and waited for the remaining members of the squad to assemble.

As the others began appearing and talking to one another, one of the people that to show up, Eiko she was standing in the shadows watching the others that she was grouped with; she didn't really react to the yelling at first but watched as the others began arriving to the hangar, and started to wonder if she was put into this group on a whim, or if she was sent to go die by how the leader of their squad acted before anyone else arrived.

Eiko wondered if she should turn around and just walk away from this group, but she didn't have a history of giving up on things, or ditching a mission given to her." The mission objective takes priority over everything else, anything else is second priority and shouldn't be worried about." She muttered to herself before she walked out of the shadows and showing herself to the others, she quietly walked over to the others noticing they all looked odd to her.

Part of her didn't expect to see any of them after the second mission, she just hoped that none of them would do anything that seemed stupid, or anything that would almost get her killed. Eiko was confident that she'd be on a helicopter ride back by herself, and be given orders to handle the rest of this little crisis on her own, she'd be surprised if the pretty boy even stuck around after the first mission." Sergeant Major reporting in Arya." Eiko told the Elf standing behind her silently waiting for her to react, she didn't give her name only her rank. she wasn't wearing her usual gear, and for once she was just wearing a white collared shirt, with black dress pants, and matching colored dress shoes. Eiko had her hands in her pockets as she waited for the old elf to speak to her.

A long figure walked towards the hanger of the SDF Invincible wearing a black hooded cloak. As the cloaked being neared, if one was sensitive to magic and happened to be paying attention, they would've noticed a dark presence closing in on the hanger. This presence, this aura of darkness although faint emanated danger, power, something that could instil fear into the hearts of men.

'... you're lost aren't you?'

'um...'

'you know you're lost, Admit It!'

'N-No! it's right over here, I just know it!'

'sure it is... just like this base was that took us hours to find...'

'that's not fair, the base was well hidden...'

'you're joking right?'

'I can't help that I'm forgetful!'

'they told us where it was and how to get here! if you didn't get preoccupied with food maybe you wouldn't have forgotten about it!'

The cloaked being sighed to itself as it stopped near the entrance of the hanger.

"okay... I admit that was my fault there..."

The figure said to itself.

"but it smelled so good! how was I suppose to ignore that!"

The being complained to seemingly no one before noticing the SDF Invincible inside the hanger, hidden eye's widening at the sight of the vessel.

"whoa..."

'now that is a big boat...'

"told you we'd find it"

The cloaked being said to the air before entering the hanger.

'we got lucky, I wouldn't count on our luck holding out forever'

'we make our own luck, hey look, are those the people we're suppose to team up with?'

'they could be, or they could be a maintenance crew on break...'

'well, were just going to have to find out then'

As the cloaked figure closed in on the group, the faint dark presence from before would become more noticeable, perhaps even to those who weren't sensitive to magic. The black cloaked being stopped near the group, a pair of red eye's glowing faintly under it's hood. It watched as someone addressed another as Arya.

'so that one's lieutenant major Arya?

'it would seem so'

'....'

'well, what are you waiting for?'

'someone else it talking to her'

'so?'

'I don't want to interrupt the conversation...'

'tch...'

The being would wait until Arya wasn't talking to anyone else to speak to her, it would then take a few steps toward Arya until it was an arms length away, then with a clearly female voice that seemed somewhat cheerful, but also nervous it would speak.

"Hi Arya, I'm here for the mission... thingy... eh-heh-heh..."

'wow. real smooth.'

'oh- like you could have done better!'

'I could have! no one would've messed up that badly!'

'I!- You!- we'll talk later, we need to listen'

Though hardly noticeable, the being seemed slightly distracted for a moment before focusing on the group once again.

Arya turned to looked at Eiko, silently relieved to see her here. She was somebody she knew she could depend on, having several successful missions under their belt. "Good to see you here, Seargeant-Major Eiko." She said to her. "Your expertise will prove useful in this mission, I hope." And then, there was the last member of the crew she had been waiting for. "And I believe you are Majin correct?" She responded to the being. "I believe that's everybody here now."

Turning to face the whole crew, she began to speak. "As all of you know, we are part of a newly formed division of the SDF. Our missions will be covert in nature, and will be extremely dangerous. Each of you were selected because you have something unique to bring to the table. A medic, a flesh golem, three experts in combat, and an expert in demonic magicks. In addition, we have been supplied with the pride of the SDF air force." She waved at the enormous air ship behind her. "I think it's clear that we aren't here for shits and giggles. The SDF has reasonable suspicion that there is a force who are gathering strength, potentially to begin Ragnarok. The SDF can not allow this to happen, but they neither know the strength of the organization, nor know its location. So we are being sent as recon. In addition, we are tasked with doing whatever is in our power to destroy this group. But, the primary objective is to collect intel on them, and return alive. For those of you who care about such things, you will be awarded handsomely for your participation in this task force. Is there any questions?"

Narrative-

As she talked it started to feel more like every other mission that I had cleared with Arya. It always felt like the mission, no matter what, would go smooth and perfect with Arya at the head. None the less Ragnarok sounded like no joke so I planned on giving everything i ran into a whole lotta hell. Not in the same way majin would, but every way a Augmented super human tank could. So after her routine speech we all got up ready for Arya's next move. I turned to Eiko who happened to fall into place beside me. "Eiko right? Tristan. You were in the same promotion class as me? Its been just about a year now? I remember you and I were top of our class. Nice to have you along for the ride." I knew Eiko didn't talk much so I left it at that.

Mentis started to grip the front of his oversize coat, a nervous habit of his. The idea of calling her by her first name, not by rank or even by her last name, it wasn't something he was use too, and so he seemed to become even more anxious than before. He lifted his gaze back up to her, so not to be rude about, and so that she could hear his quiet voice.

"Oh, sorry, Yes Ms lieute-...I mean, Yes Ms Arya" He smiled to her again, He always seemed to smile at everyone, even if it was out of nervousness
"I will just be over here, if you need me"
he mumbled as he stepped to the side while gesturing to the spot he would stand, out of the way of all the others, no doubt they were already judging him. And why wouldn't they? they were here to fight, and he couldn't even stand to touch a gun, let alone lift one. When he got the opportunity to the find infirmary on the ship, he could stop being so nervous about everything.
While waiting for the orders, he took this moment to examine the other six members. Days before coming here, he pulled up everyone's medical records, well as many as he could get his skinny fingers on. So despite not really knowing anyone on the team, he at least knew who they were and what they were.
He had noticed the two who arrived a little after he, the one who emerged from the shadows, and the other under the cloak, who seemed to be rather flustered as she reported into the lieutenant-major. She seemed worse than he was at talking to people, but that is a rude thought, and he shouldn't think like that again.

When Arya started to speak to them all, Mentis turned his gaze onto her, listening closely so not to miss anything, it wouldn't do if he missed important information because he wasn't paying attention. Though it seemed only to be a summary of why there were here, important mission debriefing would probably happen once they were all settled onto the ship.
Mentis frowned slightly though at the 'awarded handsomely' part, no one just did this out of the goodness of their heart, there would always be an award, though maybe he could just give it to someone else, whatever the reward would be, or just not request one. He didn't like making a big deal out of things, he was only there to help the people and his new team the best he could.

Jainus watched as the last four of the grouped showed up. He recognized at least two of them, Eiko and Tristan. He’d worked with Tristan before… but he was much different then, the man who stood before him now was almost robotic. Jainus paid it no more attention as an odd pink...not like a natural pink, but a hot pink… skinned humanoid joined the group. Her face was hidden by a hood, but he could tell that, by the tone of her voice and her figure, she was quite an attractive woman. Jainus moved on with his thoughts to the young medic, who looked more like some sort of lanky giant. The kid was tall, thin as a rail and meek, nothing at all like Jainus, who was boisterous and loud. A few moments passed as Arya gave the briefing, leaving Jainus somewhat stunned for a moment before he spoke up. ”You mean to say that we are going to be stopping some ridiculous norse apocalypse? What is Thor going to hit us with his mighty hammer? Will we have to wrestled with a giant planet eating snake? Oh and are we going to have to fight off hordes of viking ghosts? Come on, this is bogus. You expect us to believe that ‘Ragnarok’ is coming? If some sort of universe ending event were to take place, it would have happened already.” Jainus spoke before scratching the tip of his nose, seeming disinterested in the mission, and more interested in the pink girl.

Jainus watched Eve, waited for a reaction, wondering what she thought of the whole situation. He didn’t like unknown variables, and definitely did not like secrecy among his colleagues. Too many people here in the group liked to keep their feelings and intentions hidden,it wasn’t right. Hiding behind masks and hoods… It made him slightly uncomfortable, but that was the mission. Secrecy, covert ops… Jainus didn’t care for sneaking around, quick and dirty, the way any good job got done. In and out, quickly. Cause some havoc, blow some stuff up, create a distraction. Doesn’t need to be cloak and dagger all the time.

Deucalion watched everyone gather without a word. He did his best to refrain from forming an opinion too early on, because his first impressions were always excessively harsh and that didn't assist with the mission in any way, shape, or form. So he watched quietly, listening to how everyone interacted with everyone else. There were even a few who had known the commander from earlier engagements. That could be a good sign since it meant at least a few members could survive difficult situations together.

There was talking, too much of it. He didn't have a problem with conversations among team members when there was a point to it, but this seemed more like stalling. He waited for the guy poking fun at the chance for a divine war to cease talking before stepping forwards. "Ma'am. I understand there is a need for communication, but wouldn't that be better done on the ship, in air, instead of here, on the ground, while nothing is being done?"

Eiko didn't respond to Arya as she felt that being acknowledged was enough, she didn't feel like she needed to waste her breath, suddenly the bubblegum pink alien thing appeared; Eiko felt that the creature was an alien, but she read the dossier and knew that the creature wasn't an Alien but some sort of old demon creature that could regenerate it's limbs. Seeing the pink creature, Eiko felt that she might actually be useful for this mission, but when the Majin opened her mouth, Eiko began re-thinking that she might not be as useful as she thought, but she would have to see the Majin creature in action before she could pass true judgment on them.

When one of the guys, Jainus went on a rant about the mission, Eiko turned to him and stared at him." The mission objective takes priority over everything else. Holding to that principle is why I have never failed a mission. And the same reason you won't fail, and why we can't. If you think you can't handle this, then turn around and walk away." Eiko told Jainus sounding angry that he was talking of the mission the way it was." If you do go and aren't up to par, I'll leave your body and dog tags behind. But don't take it personally, I do the same to everyone that dies in the field."

When Arya had addressed the cloaked girl directly her eye's widened slightly.

'the nerve!'

"a-actually my name's-"

She tried to correct, but her words fell short when Ayra turned to face the whole crew and began speaking.

"nevermind..."

She mumbled to herself in a defeated tone as she listened to Ayra speak.

'. . .'

'. . .'

'what does covert mean?'

'really? what makes you think I'd know if you don't know? we share the same mind!'

'I don't know, I just thought-'

'quiet!, unlike you I'm actually trying to listen'

'... what's Ragnarok?'

'we just went over this!'

's-sorry!'

The girl seemed to be struggling with paying attention to Arya's speech, though she managed to pay attention to the last part. When given the chance to ask questions it seemed to bring a small smile to the girls face. Although her smile was a nervous one as she slowly began to move he right arm.

'If you raise you hand like a child in school I will F*cking kill everyone here right now...'

The girls eye's widened in fear as she froze, slowly lowering her arm to where it was before.

'just... act like you know what's going on, and follow the others lead, okay? can you handle that at least?'

'yeah... it shouldn't be that hard'

'don't jinx us... hey, I'm not the only one that has noticed some of the others are passing stares at us am I?'

'well, now that you mention it...'

The girl's train of thought was derailed when someone spoke up, directing her attention towards them. But as she listened she just seemed to become more confused on the situation, though it'd be difficult to see since her hood partially hid her features. She had a confused brow raised while she stared at Jainus when he finished speaking.

'Norse Apocalypse? Thor? Viking Ghosts? Giant Planet Eating Snake?! this doesn't make any sense! what's he talking about?!'

'I think he's talking about... Ragnarok?...'

"my head hurts..."

She said quietly as she placed her right hand on her hooded head and rubbed it a little. She took a few steps away from the group, not noticing as Jainus watched her. She more or less didn't hear when Eiko spoke to Jainus or when Deucalion had spoken to Ayra as she looked up at the SDF Invincible while lowering her arm to her side, bringing it back under her cloak.

'... I wonder how big the fireball from that would be if we blew it up'

'we're not blowing it up!'

'oh come on! just think about it, it'd be fun! just imagine the looks on everyone's faces when the sky is brightened from the blaze of the explosion as they're being knocked down from the shockwave!'

'.....'

'you're thinking about it!'

'no I'm not!'

'yes you are!'

'we're not. blowing it up.'

'....... you're no fun...'

'hmp...'

The cloaked girl crossed her arms as she stared at the ship for a moment or two before redirecting her attention towards the crew, diciding to listen in on them.

Turning her gaze towards Jainus, Arya began to speak, but paused, as if she had heard something. Her face seemed to drain of color. "It can't be." she muttered, her eyes seemingly staring into space. The temperature dropped by 50 degrees, ice beginning to climb up the walls, all the while hunting horns started to sound. The Wild Hunt was coming. "Everyone board the ship now! We need to move!" She ordered, sprinting up the ramp that led into the ship and towards the cockpit. Why was the Wild Hunt here? Surely they knew Idris would be able to hold them off. But it would be a long and bloody battle, during which they wouldn't be able to send out reinforcements to the team should they need it. "They knew." She said to herself. "Somebody talked, and now they know we are coming." They had to get into the air and outside the base as soon as possible, before Idris's defenses were brought up. After that they could figure out their next move.

The cloaked girl directed her attention to Ayra, she looked like she had something to say.

'whoa, do you feel that?'

She lowered her gaze to the floor as she concentrated.

'yeah, but what is it?'

'I don't know... but it can't be good for us...'

The cloaked girl looked back to Ayra who seemed to be looking a little pale as she muttered something.

'looks like she can sense it to...'

She shivered slightly as the temperature dropped, her eye's widening as ice began to form on the walls.

'who touched the thermostat?!'

'we're in a hanger! there is no thermostat!'

A chill went up her spine, not from the cold, but from the sound of horns filling the air. The girls red glowing eye's looked around trying to pinpoint the direction the sound was coming from. Then she heard Ayra gave an order to get on the ship before running up the boarding ramp.

'pff, forget that, we can take on whatever's coming our way!'

The girl looked back to the others with a fierce look in her glowing red eye's.

"you heard her! move! I'll make sure to close the door on my way in!"

She then jumped 20ft into the air and hovered there with her fists clenched, ready and determined to defend her newly acquainted teammates.

'that sounds an awful lot like "I'm not going to stay behind and kick whoever's coming teeth in when they get here"...'

'now is not the time for this...'

“Hate to break it to you cap, but if what you said about a ‘Ragnarok’ is true, then they would have known that we would come. Gods aren’t called that for no reason.” Jainus spoke as he turned to watch Eve float in the sky, barking orders about getting on the ship. Stupid girl thought she could be a sacrifice to save them… Didn’t she know? Jainus shook his head and jumped up after her, blinking straight to her and then freefalling for a few seconds, with her in his arms, before blinking again to the docking port of the Invincible. “Listen kid, no one is the hero of this little group… except for me… I’m the hero, you don’t get to go out in a blaze of glory until I do, so do me a solid and get in the boat, okay?” Jainus spoke as he set her down inside the vessel after taking a few steps in with Eve in his arms. He admitted to himself that it did feel nice, but he had a job to do. He had to keep these people safe himself so long as it was within his power to do so. Of course, Jainus needed to do it in the most badass way he could, otherwise it just wouldn’t be his style

The temperature outside the ship dropped considerably, and rather quickly. He could only come up with a few logical causes, but unfortunately, logic was not something common amongst the SDF, specifically this new branch he had joined not too long ago. “Frost Giants? Just like the Norse Legends? So now we have to deal with an ancient civilization’s mythology coming to life? Are you kidding me! This is so… Freakin...AWESOME! I always wondered what it’d be like to see them for real… I mean you hear those stories in school when you’re a kid… Hell I did a project on Gungnir when I was a little kid...This is so cool!”Jainus spoke excitedly, he wanted nothing else now than to get this mission underway and fight these ancient monsters and gods. Go toe to toe with Loki…“So badass…!”

He sat in his own giddy, childish joy for a few moments before he continued on to claim a room within the ship, he felt there would likely be room assignments and likely they would be on high alert until they got outside of the base a ways, but Jainus didn’t care that much, he was a melee combatant, had no real desire to go out and use a gun that he couldn’t aim worth a damn anyways. It was decided, room, then locate food, then find Eve again later when everything calmed down, see if he could steal her to himself for an hour or so, get to know this unknown member of the squad.
