There's actually a mobile game about Avengers University. It sucks, but I liked the concept.

Hi, for the avengers I was thinking of a disabled character whose main form of transport when in a fight would be a horse. For his main power I was thinking of him being able to 'spin' anything he touches. I think the main use of this would be the ability to spin his fingernails and use them as sort of faux bullets. Along with this, I was thinking that something strange like Dr. Pepper or something would let him grow his fingernails back really quickly, just so he isn't left with no fingernails for ages. A second use of this power is related to his horse. Obviously he can't just magic a horse out of thin air so I was thinking of two things. Either dimension travel or a sort of psuedo pocket dimension. For the dimension travel I was thinking he'd activate it by squashing himself inbetween two objects(for example, draping a flag on top of him and lying on the floor). The main use of this power would be to quickly and easily get onto his horse, it wouldn't be as OP as it sounds so don't worry. I think a way of making this less OP would be to make it so that he can only travel to dimensions extremely similar to the current one, and that he could only stay for a set amount of time within them. For the pocket dimension I was thinking he could spin a small amount of the world itself to open the space between dimensions where he could store things.

@Mr_pink While I don't think he should have called you out on the interest thread, the fact is that powerset is..ridiculous. Especially for something associated with the Avengers. Not saying that character can't be used elsewhere, but in this instance I'd say no. That character just screams Mary Sue to me, striving to be different just for the sake of being different.

I get not wanting to use the same powers over and over again (a certain someone should take a lesson from that handbook..) but going THAT far out there doesn't work in all settings.

Why not try to find something else? Perhaps keep the wheelchair bit or what else and just re-hash the others? Or don't participate in this if you take issue.

Why even take roleplaying this seriously. It's supposed to be a fun activity and if I'd like to use a quirky power then why should I be lambasted for copying something? If the character is nowt like the original part the power I don't see the harm it can cause.

I've never gotten the JoJo hype. After watching a dog get kicked in the face and then later killed, I was just turned off the series. But I'll comfortably watch Frank Castle get tortured to all hell in Daredevil S2, so go figure. Guess I'm more of an animal person.

...so you only watched the first episode? Not really giving the show a fair shake, in my opinion.

Oh I know, I'm not denying that, there's just things that I can't watch because of how bad they mess me up due to my own BS. The first or second episode of The Walking Dead caused the same thing and I doubt I'll ever be able to watch Game of Thrones, let alone read the Fire & Ice series. It definitely limits what I can enjoy, but that's just because of who I am.
