>tying his crown to his neck

>tying a SILVER crown to his neck where any good punch will hammer it into his ribcage

Is this a put-on show of superiority?

Is this a put-on show of superiority?

It is a character choice, not a player choice. It's a show of dominance, yes, the whole point being to prove the Silver Crowns (and Reinor himself) are too strong to have their weaknesses exploited. It's the equivalent of a vampire wielding a stake as a weapon: use it against me, if you can. Is it the most logical and strategic choice? No. But it's deep-seated in tradition, and Reinor is much too confident to believe anyone could catch him so off-guard. If they're able to drive the crown into his flesh with a hammer strike or strike a solid blow on him at all, he is a weak leader, and might as well be dead anyway.

Oh, now i see the point.
This is exactly how a savage bound by superstitious concepts of "honor" and "pride" would behave tho.
Actually, though, i like that detail really much and i'll feel really bad trying to exploit it. This kind of humanity and emotion is what sets vampires and werewolves apart.

By the way, about hearts and things being pounded into them!
Master Princess, could Kreslav have used his fleshwarping arts in order to hide his own heart somewhere else in his body in order to fool people trying to stake him? For example move it over into his pelvic area and armor it up with more bone and meat and a highly decorated codpiece?

@HaleytheRandom Here's the readjusted CS. I included the power within the "Other" section

@Keksalot No I wouldn't feel bad, he expects it from anyone he might face, and likely welcomes the challenge

I'm very excited to see this coming to life by the way; I'm already dying to know how the story begins and ends. I love this community in how intricate they can make their stories and how well everyone can get along, despite differences IC. Here's to the roleplayerguild, and all of you. Thank you.

If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. Santana is by far the worst pillar man

Santana at very least looks nice and didn't cry like a pussy when he was being defeated.

His crying was terrifying and you're lying if you say you didn't wet yourself with the rest of us.

Ah... I like the creativity, but I'm going to have to give this a no.

@Whimsley Very well done. Approved.

@Mr_pink I'll read the app over ASAP, have to take a quiz right now.

@Keksalot Well, I'm not accusing you of anything, but this sort of sounds like a tad bit of god-modding.

The heart is the vampires main weakness, and it can only be hidden by a sort of armor. By doing this, it seems like you are... how do I say this... making it to where he doesn't have that weakness unless someone just so happens to stab him in the pelvic region.

Yeah, as would any vampire who ever had the opportunity and imagination.
Sorry for being like that, actually. I know exactly why forbidding this thing is completely justified OOC from your side, yes, but how do we justify things like that being forbidden for the sake of fairness In-Character?

Also, a question for everyone who plays: anyone wants to try and work out some kind of background plot for vampires and werewolves? Not the personal stories but something that explains the existence and history of vampires and werewolves as the supernatural "species". Why and for how long are they out there, that kind of things?

Of course they would, but this is a rp that is meant to be fair and I am not trying to anger anyone here.

No problem. I appreciate your understanding. However, I'm not sure what you mean.

What i mean is, whatever we decide OOC should also be justified IC. Kreslav can't hide his heart away with his fleshcrafting powers, i understand and accept that - but why? How is it rationalized by him as a character in the game world?

@Keksalot Ahh.

I'll have to think of something for this.

Perhaps because during the transformation, whatever organs are damaged are healed, but just like the body, is frozen in the current state in which it was transformed?
