Ah, um, my install of skype isn't working anymore... at least it freezes whenever I try to use it. That and I've had a lot of less-then good experiences on skype and, um, yeah, um, sorry.

Appearance: She is very small, around 4'9 in height.

Personality: Alison is... seemingly, a very pleasant and refined girl. She is polite to those she speaks to, and very very friendly. It would not seem as if there is a mean bone in her body, even. She is kind, and never seems to run out of tea to offer to others. However, she is also very easily flustered, and can get a bit snappish if she feels that someone is being impolite. Also, there's the way she cheerfully grins as she bludgeons her enemies with a parasol. Or when she throws baseball bats, nails, chainsaws, knives, and explosives at the enemy after pulling them out of her skirt. Yes, Alison seems to enjoy violently fighting a bit too much, even with her otherwise-pleasant personality. At least she doesn't just go doing it to anyone.

History: Magic is no stranger in the Chains family. Coming from a long line of tricksters and magicians, Alison was fully expected to learn the tricks of the trade at a young age. And learn them she did. However, she only ever managed to truly learn about one single trick. A good magician can fit anything anywhere. Doves up sleeves, rabbits in hats, and in Alison's case, a variety of terrifying weapons, food items, and miscellaneous supplies in her skirt. This was of course, much to the disdain of her parents, who saw the ability with a mixture of disgust and absurdity. But, the fact was that their daughter HAD become a rather skilled practitioner of magic.

None of this, however, could have accounted for what happened next. Her mother and father, disbelieving in their daughter's ability to host any kind of magic show, continued their craft. It wasn't that they hated her, but they hated her utter lack of skill in any area but one. She couldn't disappear, make others vanish, levitate animals, or any of the other tricks that magicians commonly used to entertain their audiences. As amusing as it was to see a girl pull chainsaws from her skirt, if it was all that performer could do... it got old quickly.

Being wealthy performers, and not wanting Alison to get in the way, the girl's parents left their daughter with the family maids. After all, their next show was going to be a big one, with a massive turnout. However, it coincided with a much more sinister event. The emergence of Issun from The Backyard. Some theorize that this caused a rift, sending even stage magic temporarily haywire. Whatever the cause, Alison's father was suddenly drawn inside of his own hat, utterly consumed by it in seconds. Or at least that's what appeared to happen. The fact that her mother lost her arm to the same hat does not bode well for the fate of Alison's father.

Her mother had to undergo intensive medical care to save her life. Alison was shocked by this event, and yet... in spite of her Mother and Father's disapproval of her failure in nearly all areas of magic save one... she loved them. It was then that Alison came to a very simple decision. She even smiled as it came to her. After all, there was no reason to feel bad about what she planned to do. She was even cheerful as she announced her intent. After all, Alison had always been a bit of a strange girl.

She was going to find Issun, and beat him until he was nothing more then a bloody pulp splattered across the ground. Anyone who got in her way would... not get the same treatment, no, but they would find themselves with very unique injuries.

But first she had to get some cookies from Mumford and Sons. She wasn't going on any revenge trip without cookies. It was there that she would begin her quest for vengeance. After all, what was revenge on an empty stomach? Not any revenge Alison wanted. That was for sure.

Weapon(s): Alison's main weapon is her parasol, which she uses to violently bludgeon her enemies. However, she also stores chainsaws, knives, explosives, nails, potted plants, teacups, tea, a rocket launcher, cookies, rocks, a frisbee, a suitcase, a bottle of wine, a sledgehammer, and a huge ball and chain in her skirt. Somehow.

Abilities/Powers: Alison can fit way too many things in her skirt. Otherwise, she has little in the way of powers and relies on the ridiculous amount of things she carries with her to beat up her foes.

Lollipop Chainsaw! - Alison pulls a chainsaw from her infinite storage skirt, revs it up with a single pull, and sends it careening at her enemy. More intimidating than dangerous, a screaming chainsaw isn't that hard to evade. It IS, however, scary as hell.

Hammer Time - How does Alison fit a sledgehammer in her skirt? She's not telling. But she IS more than happy to let you look at it... when it hits you in the face. A sledgehammer is definitely not man's best friend. Side-Effects may include cranial trauma, internal bleeding, broken bones, and tasting the color purple.

FRRRREEEEEEDDDOOOOOOMMMM!!!!! - Alison reaches into her skirt and pulls out... well... various things. She throws anything and everything she can grab at her opponent. Pop-tarts, tea sets, kittens, lawnmowers, a rubber chicken, knives, the neighbor's television set... it's pretty much a random assortment of fun goodies! All set free to wreak havoc on an unsuspecting enemy.

She's My Cherry Pie - A move pulled straight from the cartoons of the middle to late twentieth century, Alison takes a pie our from her skirt. Throwing it like a clown, most foes might think that the girl simply goofed up. What they DON'T know... is that the pie has a lit stick of dynamite in it. Good times... good times.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead - Alison reaches into her skirt and pulls out a rocket launcher larger then she is. With a cheerful grin, she takes aim and fires it directly at her opponent. Mysteriously, "magical" sparkles and a rainbow seem to fly out of the rocket's propulsion system instead of fire. However, the explosion is no trick of the light and is very very dangerous.

Heaven or Hell.

And here we go! Thanks a lot, Beta. ^^; I was so stuck on backstory and these moves look like a lot of fun, eh-heh.

Well... I don't recall there being animal-people in Guilty Gear. That was Blazblue's thing. But I suppose you could be a Humanoid Gear with Animal traits.

In fact, let's go with that. Feel free to write up a CS. I'll probably have to review it tomorrow, though, as I was going to go to bed pretty soon.

Just remember to try and include at least one musical reference in your characters powers/name/etc. :3

Personality:
When one encounters him for the first time, he appears to be extremely calm and gentle who stands at odds with actual fighting. In truth, this reserved and quiet personality is just a ruse that he uses to make those around him feel secure and to hide his true nature. Quick to be angered and easily annoyed, Dio is hot-headed and often tends to overreact to certain things. Something of a sadist, he is not above enjoying a good fight, and he often attacks his opponents in a very brutal fashion. He seems to thoroughly enjoy violence, as he toys with his opponents and fights with no regards for the safety of others. Despite his wild attitude, he does have a sense of honor and respects strength and determination. He also appears to be against the idea of needless killing, having opted to leave the defenseless alone as they posed no real threat or challenge to him.

He is highly resourceful, full of determination and possesses a certain disregard for rules. His strong-willed stubbornness can sometimes get in trouble as when he refuses to back down no matter what the situation. He lives his life by his own rules and has learned to ignore what other people think of him. In this reference he can be stubborn and willful about his personal opinions, sticking with his views no matter what everyone else might say. Dio is an arrogant and self-centered ego maniac, with little time for anyone beyond himself or his allies, making him a typical anti-hero or so he would say. He is dismissive in his manner of speech but, despite his personality, he is very devoted and protective towards his only friends, and would risk his life for them.


History:
Dio was always the man that no one knew about. From the experiments to his subsequent birth in a test tube and then his escape during his teenage years, Dio was always a mystery. The young gear would never allow anyone to get close to him for he only ever knew betrayal. That all changed when he met the hero known as Sol Badguy. Upon meeting him, the part of Dio's brain of that was gear in nature activated causing him to spill various facts about Sol and who he was before the experiment. They were confused at each other and what happened in the following days...was unlike the Sol that the world knew. He took the young Gear under his wing.

The following years were spent with Sol training Dio in the one thing that Sol knew best, combat. Sol was a harsh teacher; never letting up on just how much danger he would put Dio in. The disappearance of the mightiest Gear brought a great distraught to Dio's life. 200 years Dio spent searching for his master. No one knew of him nor his time with Sol so, he was just a mystery to the world. Dio made a name for himself throughout the years, meeting the Kiske Family, to stealing FireSeal, and then finally being the man that stopped one of the greatest massacres in the last 150 years. Dio can only hope to find Sol one day and understand just what his purpose in life is.

Weapon(s):
[I]FireSeal - FireSeal is the legendary OutRage weapon that was once wielded by Sol Badguy and Sol taught Dio how to use it. Dio managed to steal it from the Kiske Kingdom. FireSeal allows Dio to manipulate and control fire.


Abilities/Powers:
Pyromania - Conjuring a small amount of flames, Dio swipes upward and releases it as a projectile wave that rushes towards a target and explodes on contact. The relative ease of this ability allows Dio to cast this multiple times in quick succession without tiring and can release it by alternating sword swings as he swipes the air to increase the speed in between intervals. When on the ground, Pyromania rides on the surface Dio is standing on. But when he is in the air, Dio is still capable of launching it as projectiles.

Ace of Spade - Dio ignites his entire body in FireSeal's flames. He then charges towards the enemy and delivers a devastating punch that blows up the enemy, then proceeds to administer a sword slash but focuses as a giant cannon type of blast attack. The slash carries enough force to send an opponent several meters while burning them substantially.

Fade to Black - With his hand engulfed in flames, Dio will charge an opponent and grasp them around the neck, lifting them off the ground. He then sends a surge of flames that explodes and launches his opponent into the air. With its point blank range, the damage can be quite devastating and leaves an opponent unable to dodge once Dio grips them.

THE WORLD - A special ability blessed to Dio by his Gear aspects. He is able to stop the flow of time for the upwards of five seconds. This provides an adequate drawback as he cannot actually touch anyone while using The World or he will be brought back into the normal frame of time. Instead Dio will administer attacks that will be frozen in time all around his enemy. Once time resumes, the attacks will converge on anyone he deems prey. While this isn't instant, it is still difficult to escape. There are other ways of completely shutting down his time stop before it even begins but, that is something he hasn't experienced yet. Dio is stuck at a 5 minute interval for usage.

Made some amendments to my CS, particular the abilities part. Instead of making Ontos's last ability a self-sacrifice, it'll probably be on the same power level as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
