"eye eye captain." Romam spoke with a playful tone of voice he wasn't trying to be rude to Axel just tease her a bit. He carefully stirred the ingredients to make sure none of them burnt, the food begun emanating a decadent aroma. "You know this is actually starting to smell really good." he spoke with a smile inhaling deep.

Jay could tell she was judging him silently, like he asked a stupid question. Jay let out a forced chuckle. "I was kidding, I knew that already." Jay lied rubbing the back of his neck, as he nodded his head. "Of course, that sounds perfect. Let's get cracking." Jay stated, only because that's what Inigo said that every time he made breakfast. "I'll go get everything we need." Jay commented going to grab some eggs and ingredients from the fridge that was inside trying to show he was perfectly capable doing something so simple. Meanwhile Inigo already snuck himself inside the room, able to open the door knowing this would be a disaster if he didn't intervene heading up to the fridge and Jay nearly shouted in surprise, keeping a hand on his mouth as Inigo climbed up to his shoulder.

"You are so in trouble..." Jay whispered. "I know you need my help. You don't know the first thing about cooking." Inigo replied keeping his voice lowered. Jay knew that statement was correct. As he sighed in frustration deciding complaining about this would get him nowhere dropping it, accepting the help. Inigo smiled and started pointing out every single ingredient he used to make the best omelets. Jay took everything Inigo mentioned. "At least go somewhere far in the corner where no one will notice you." Jay instructed to Inigo sternly while still continuing to whisper. Inigo nodded and went off to the corner of the room, where nobody currently was, climbing onto higher location than the floor, avoiding the possibility of getting stepped on. Watching Jay with a grin as he headed back to Katherin with all the stuff in his hands.

@Overlord24 A boy walked over to Flick, this must be Avary. He looked grumpy, they hoped he wouldn't be overly negative. Maybe Avary would lighten up after he ate something. "So, what are you hungry for? i'm feeling quail myself, but i'm not sure how to cook them." Flick ate most of their meat raw out of convenience, but he didn't need to know that. Being a cat already made Flick stick out like a sore thumb, they didn't want to draw more attention to it.

@KindledBeast" Cute." Axel said as she stretched trying to decide what to do with the beef." Seems we got lucky this time. Usually it's so horrible that you wouldn't want to eat. Hmmm... Which sounds better cooking the meat then placing the veggies on top or cutting it in chunks to cook then add it all together?

Katherin studied her partner. She wasn't convinced that he didn't need her help. But she let him get the ingredients while she found the skillet. She sprayed it with nonstick stuff before looking for a bowl for them to mix the stuff in. She wandered what Jay would get. She was hoping for ham and cheese but she would make do with whatever he brought. She didn't want to fight. The day had been stressful enough.

"Of course you will be judged on how complex the food is. As well as how well made it is and how well you work together." The old lady explained. They would be graded on everything.

"That actually sounds like a really good idea, we could just cook the meet separately. Also you have to consider who you're talking to I've eaten some really gross things in my life." He said with a laugh while he scratched the back of his neck thinking of it.

@KatherinWinter" Don't you think that's a bit much Love? Not everyone can cook let alone make an amazing meal. Axel As she grabbed another pan out. She placed the pan down as she put oil inside then placed it on the stove.

@KindledBeast" When you're ready add the carrots. I'm gonna turn this on so I can get the meat going." She said as she looked up towards the clock and frowned.

"Get used to it. You will be judged on everything you do while your here. Everything is watched and graded. I will take inexperience into consideration." The old lady explained.

@KatherinWinter" Doesn't seem like it to me Love. I doubt anyone here lives in a shoe with a hundred or so kids. I doubt anyone of us can even cook really well Love." The pirate said as she slowly moved away from the stove.

Leo looked at the teacher sighing at her answer, as he looked at Lorane seriously. "Well no, we aren't making a sandwich then. Just sit back, and watch some wonders. I can cook us some amazing." Leo stated ready to put more of his skills to the test, with a confident smile as he remember several recipes in his head, not requiring or even looking at the recipe book. "Do we have any liquid nitrogen?" Leo asked the teacher going the fridge quickly scanning what they had not even concerned what she wanted. Because it was his grades that would suffer if he had anyone holding him back. "I don't need any help." Leo thought to himself.

Jay put out a bunch of ingredients on the table next to her, having brought ham and cheeses and plenty more with several spices. Jay looked at Katherin. "Here, now all you need to do is...well I'm sure you know." Jay stated slightly getting quiet not exactly expressing self-assurance. As Inigo watched from afar letting out a sigh. "Oh dear..."

Lorane grinded her teeth as her partner spoke. He was being a total dick, and yet the teacher was yelling at her instead. Equality for heroes and villains? Yeah right. What bullshit. If this guy were the son of, say, Claude Frollo, he'd be getting just as much shit as her. But, to Lorane's dismay, he wasn't. He was probably the son of some stuck up bitch who waited in a tower for her whole life, only to be saved by some prince douchebag, to naive to just pick up a chick at a bar. Lorane groaned and got up, following behind the boy. "You don't understand! I can't do anything that might make me sweat, witchdoctor's orders! Now, if either of us are going to get a good grade on this, we're going to have to work together! So let's make a salad, or fishless sushi." her words were strong and angry, but not yelled. She kept her indoor voice intact as to not upset anyone who she did not want to upset.

Katherin sighed. So much for working together. She shook her head. She didn't bother asking Jay for help. She wasn't sure that asking would do her any good. She put the skillet on the stove and cracked a couple of eggs. Then she added cheese before starting to dice up the ham. She didnt know how the teacher was going to grade them. But she hoping it wouldn't be as bad as she feared. She didnt want to get a failing grade her first day of school.

"Unless I see a note from the doctor. I don't care. Even then cooking isn't like gym. You won't break a sweat cooking. If you do I will send you to the nurse to get a pill." The old lady snapped. She had raised enough kids not to be bothered by very much.

Lorane directed her head from her partner to the teacher, who was shamelessly snapping at her. She took a deep breath, trying keep her cool. This teacher was really getting on her nerves, more than the last one. "Have you...ever stood above a pot full of boiling water, having to stir something while hot steam blows in your face? Well, the heat of whatever your cooking tends to make you sweat, so stop snapping at me unless you actually know what your talking about." her words seemed annoyed, but calm, as if she was just done with the situation and simply wanted to start cooking something that wouldn't make her sweat without having the teacher nag on her. Afterward, she added, "And yes, I have the witchdoctor's note. It's in my binder, and I'll show it to you when I get back to my seat. But for now, let me and my partner decide what the hell we're gonna make. You know, like you told us to do." she then turned her face back to the boy.

Leo looked at how angry and upset the other student was acting. Leo stopping looking through the fridge and walked over to her as she starting talking about making salad, another very easy thing to make, Leo wouldn't let his grades suffer. But at this point, if he didn't at least try to explain his case it would only make things worse. "Why do you think I want liquid nitrogen? That stuff is literally -346°F." Leo explained. "I'm not trying to be rude, I just want to make something that won't get you or me a bad grade." Leo clarified as he quickly went over to grab a piece of paper and a pen, and he started writing down some directions. "Here, I'll write down what you need to do. That way you can help me." Leo replied trying to be patient and work together with this student somehow knowing they were already probably being graded now, since she was raising her voice at him.

It didn't help that it seemed like the teacher wasn't having any of it either, and Lorane was still arguing against the teacher. Letting out a frustrated sigh, as she turned to face him. He leaned closer going up to whisper next to Lorane's ear. "Look, sometimes adults think they know everything, It doesn't make them correct but you have to listen to them anyway. You can't keep snapping back at all of her comments. All your doing is hurting your grade and by association, mine too." Leo told her keeping his voice quiet.

Leo quickly tried to ask again, slightly louder hoping it cut through any noise going on. "Do we have any liquid nitrogen teach?"

Meanwhile Jay was looking at her starting to cook the omelets, realizing she was doing it solely on her own, not seeming to make it better by not even letting him do anything. Jay started rubbing his head some in frustration and confusion. "I'm sure I can help with something." Jay stated awaiting Katherine's response. Inigo looked at them laying on his side, paw holding up his head. "This isn't going very well. She's being rude." Inigo thought to himself thinking maybe he should take a bite out of her next.

"Will do." Roman replied as he listened into Axel and the teachers conversation the teacher was rude but he also didn't understand why Axel was calling her "love". Roman turned around after cutting. Up all the carrots and adding them, "Axel I need you stop arguing and get over here please." he said as he gestured for her to come to him.

@KindledBeast The girl threw up her hands as if to show the teacher there would be no more questions. She didn't have to use her flight though the boots she wore slowed the pirate down. Each step was on the air, no more then a mere float. Once Axel stopped next to Roman the girl landed on the ground." I wasn't arguing mate just trying to understand the point of the grading. she said as she placed the meat inside the pan and lowered the heat.

"I couldn't care less what we cook, i'm fine with quail, and I saw that you ate all the raw meat. I know you're dad's Puss in Boots, but please try to act like a human being, or as close as you can get."
After he said that he just absentmindedly helped prepare whatever food he was helping make, he wasn't paying attention, he was deep in thought.

"If you insist." Roman said with a sly smile as he took in a deep whiff of the foods aroma.

@Overlord24 Flick felt their ears flatten, so much for cheering Avary up with food. "I'm hardly the only nonhuman here," Flick began, "I know how I look, but I've been nothing but civil. The one who needs to change how they act is you" they swatted their tail, this kid was to much. They grabbed the cookbook the teacher had left and flipped through it. "We're eating quail."

@KindledBeastAxel shook her head. Nothing she would say would help the situation now. The pirate grabbed a fork and flipped the meat. A shiver down her spine and instantly she knew her father was mad. At least it wasn't at her.
