@Archmage MC The main reason I don't like the idea of this character comes from the fact 75% of the CS is a long ass powers list with 30 powers when including the 24 bullet points for Toon Physics. I can't accept this anymore than I could an Iron Man knockoff with 30 abilities in a suit of armor. It's way too much and uses elements from too many different power sets, and when it takes 24 bullet points to explain all the things included in one power... it gives me a headache trying to wrap my mind around it all. It's like when somebody has telepathy but then has two dozen applications for the power. I don't want that in the game anymore than I do a Deadpool knockoff who breaks the fourth wall.

Given that the other RP seems to be dying, I'd still like a chance to explore this character some more. Maybe make her into more of an anti-hero, or even a villain.

Name: Xi Xiu (习秀)

Alias: Gunrat

Age: 25

Powers:
-Superhuman reflexes and flexibility
-Individually focusing eyes
-Pain resistance
-Metal plating under her scalp, forearms, and shins.
-The ability to dislocate any body part/joint at will.

-Note: A great deal of her power comes not from her physical ability, but from her connections to weapon-smugglers, anarchist groups, and other various factions. Her origins in China, and illegal immigration to America, means that no public record of her existence exists. As far as the government is concerned, she's a ghost.

Weaknesses: Bullets, knives, drowning, fire, explosions

Personality: Traumatized, Logical, Trigger-happy, Prideful, Loyal

Appearance: Xiu is Chinese-American, 5'4", with a round, flat face, sickly pale skin, wide eyes, thin eyebrows, and a large forehead. Her head is shaved down the middle, with amber-died ponytails on either side. Her build is slim, but also very fit. She wears steel-toed boots, work jeans, and a thick leather jacket.

BRIEF Bio:
Storylines: Xiu was born the daughter of two Taiwanese political activists, who made it their goal in life to delegitimize the Chinese government, and incite civil war. When pro-Taiwan protests began breaking out around China in the 1990's, her parents were at the very front of the movement. Fearing that this civil unrest could spread, the government used military force to break up the protests, sending citizens fleeing to their homes. That night, police operatives broke into the homes of those involved in inciting the protests, including Xiu's parents. They were imprisoned, interrogated, and eventually killed, leaving her as a child of the state. Needless to say, no media sources were allowed to cover this, and the world went on completely unaware.
From early childhood, Xiu was raised by various agents of the Chinese Ministry of State Security. Their goal was to create an assassin to infiltrate the governments of Taiwan, Japan, and America giving China direct leverage over the life and death of any state officials who might stand in the country's way. Training included various mental and physical experiments and surgeries, in an attempt to make her more agile and durable than a normal human. This also necessitated that she be fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English. Chemical and surgical treatments overclocked her brain, reinforced her muscle fibers, and replaced her joints, boosting her agility, intelligence, and flexibility beyond normal human means, but left her nervous system fried and numbed, and her personality a neurotic mess. In spite of these setbacks, her resourcefulness surpassed their expectations. As a teen, she was able to hack into the ministry's computer network, and review all of the ministry's data, including her own file. Learning of her parent's cause in full detail, and how expendable she was to the state that killed them, she decided that she owed nothing to the government that raised her. Distraught, she became uncooperative to her handlers and teachers. Before too long, it was decided that she was a lost cause, and was scheduled for execution. Learning of this, she subdued her guards, and escaped the facility.
Xiu traveled to Shanghai, where she survived for over a year by robbing street vendors and convenience stores. Eventually, she made it onto a freighter on its way to America. There she found a new purpose, modeling herself off of America's many superheroes. With the help of a couple anti-government hacker groups, she began monitoring and capturing low-level criminals, wannabe supervillains, and corrupt politicians. Unbound by the moral compass that leads most heroes, she sees herself as superior to them, and hopes to replace more traditional super-groups with her own vigilante, paramilitary organization.

Notes: An obsession with guns is a integral part of this character's personality, but she can be outfitted with only non-lethal rounds, if the story requires it.

Name: Luxe Evohldga'ma
Alias: Starstryke
Age: 26
Powers: Mostly human physiology, enhanced vision and cognitive ability thanks to her father who is the leader of The Red Moon Cabal.. a political faction seeking to take over all of The United Planets. She trained with his warriors, who focused on cosmic awareness and alien weaponry.

BRIEF Bio: (W.I.P.) Half human, half alien.

Storylines: Eventually, The Red Moon Cabal will come looking for her. Her father, Halcyon Evohldga'ma had trained her to become one of his most effective assassins and "curators" (as he called them, but essentially thieves who stole precious objects throughout the galaxies). For now, she is mostly just evading them and working for herself..finding jobs that aren't TOO morally corrupt, though sometimes she does skirt the line she stops short of killing anyone who doesn't deserve it.

Name:Thomas Garret
Alias: Rogue
Age: 24
Powers:
Nerve damage has dulled his sensation of pain.
Extremely sharp hearing(in the form of a suped up cochlear implant)
Exceptionally strong prosthetic arm, has a hidden blade inside.

Weaknesses: Humanity
Alignment: Hero
Personality: Fearless. Ruthless. Compassionate. Stubborn. Selfless.
Appearance:
6’1 and broad shouldered, with a muscular build. Tom is fair haired and lately he has been leaning toward pale. He is often unshaven and disheveled, and he keeps his hair cut very short so he doesn't have to deal with it. He has brown eyes and a broad face with a spattering of scar tissue along the right side. His right arm is missing from just above the elbow.

His costume is a set of state of the art full body armor, acquired off the black market. It's all in blue and gray digital camo. He has a denim vest over top of this with the Riverview Rogues patch on the back: a dagger facing downward, with a river winding around it.
His helmet is an expensive custom work. It's form fit for his head, bulletproof and shock absorbing. It's smooth most of the way around, blue, with pale glowing eye slits. Despite the "eyes," the entire faceplate can be seen through from the inside, and has a heads up display in the left corner.
He only wears his prosthetic when in costume, so that people won't suspect a one armed man.

BRIEF Bio: Thomas was a native to New Athens, born and raised in the crime ridden and impoverished Riverview subdivision. The second he turned 18 he joined the US Marine Corps to get away. He was in for a full two years before losing his arm and most of his hearing to a rocket propelled grenade.
He came home to find holding down a job difficult, his disability checks inadequate and the Veteran’s Association largely unhelpful. Thomas had to turn to crime to make ends meet, joining a local outlaw motorcycle club, the Riverview Rogues. The money was good, but a lot of their activities didn't sit well with him.

Tom used some of his ill gotten gains to get himself equipped, including getting his hearing fixed and a more advanced prosthetic. He appeared one day as Rogue, and took over the MC by force. He remains masked, even to them, and though some have grown truly loyal to him, he still controls them mainly through fear.

Under his leadership, the club has expanded into other neighborhoods, but their MO has changed drastically. Their known now for busting other petty criminals and beating street thugs senseless. They have also turned their energy toward charitable events, mostly focused on local schools or blood and food drives in Riverview.

Storylines: Gets involved in anything that comes near Riverview. Fights against gentrification of the neighborhood, which would be a controversial move from a PR standpoint, but he is concerned for the possibility that rent will increase, forcing people out of their homes. Loses control of his club, who turns toward more profitable(and less ethical) ventures.

Notes: There's a certain level of “looking the other way” between him and the club, but there are inexcusable actions, for which the punishments are harsh.

With so many sheets coming in I might forgo 'TBD' for now and sit and wait to see what kind of hero we'll need once all the sheets are organized in a character tab.

With archetypes going so fast I wont know where my first character will end up.

I could argue a case for him being more wildcard, but I'm trying to play him more heroic than anti-hero.

I will simply work up what I got and put it up and see what category they will fit in from KL's standpoint. Initially my first character will be like walking the line/Hero, depending on how stories and intereactions will go.

@Gisk We've already got a hardass running around with a skull on his face with @Aro's Reaper. So you'd have to rework him a little.

@Carlsberg R2 is interested in a Big Man slot but there were two of them on the archetypes list. With the amount of villains us heroes will have a hard enough time so if both Big Man/Woman archetypes are heroes it wouldn't be a big deal breaker.

@Rin That blows about the computer, mine got busted a few weeks back and I lost most of my micro work. Capt. Marvel is a guilty pleasure and I'm looking forward to that CS!

@Jotunn Draugr Justice League doesn't exist in this universe! Gotta rework some of Gunrat's backstory so it's not the exact same as the JL role-play that died.
