If you want it to be bigger, you can have a few colonies here and there that aren't fully populated.

I think it makes sense that most planets wouldn't be fully populated, because it takes a lot of time for that many people to be born

If you want your nation to be bigger or something, just say you have like 5 "buffer" colonies on the outskirts of your territory, which aren't fully populated with 18 billion each but provide a layer of defense.

The problem is the X'Cor haven't expanded in a while and have just sat there.

Their planets had their populations come up and the planets they conquered have become populated with X'Cor along with the slaves ^^

@Hael Question, when did the humans begin space travel and colonization?

@Hael Question, when did the humans begin space travel and colonization?

You're the human. You tell me.

The only thing I have set in stone about humans is that Earth was once on the outskirts of Xim territory, until humans reached spacetravel and begin expanding out on their own. This angered the Xim as they saw it as a disruption of their territory, so after decades of poor diplomacy between the humans and Xim, it led to war. The war lasted 50 years, and a peace treaty was made 10 years ago.

Everything else is up to you.

WIP goes here until I approve it, then you can transfer it to the CS.

Speaking of which, @Sigma and @Lauder are both approved. You can now transfer your WIP sheets into the characters section.

Huh. The WIP worked. Time to not finish my for ever.

I'll keep working on it until I'm satisfied.

@Hael Sounds good. So the early 22nd Century would be Humanity's little Space Golden Age.

If that's what you want :)

But once you do get an official timeline for humanity down, I'll need to know, so I can incorporate it with the Xim timeline.

You see, I imagine that the Xim were having a little "Space Golden Age" of their own until the war with humanity fucked up their fragile system, which they are still trying to repair.

It it any wonder the Xim have such a problem with mankind? Human's reaching the stars meant a war, a messed up economy, and an altered way of life for the Xim. It isn't really human's fault, of course- they were only trying to expand into the stars like everyone else- but it nonetheless had massive impacts on the Xim.

Hm.

Normally, I'd say "I have too many RPs I'm going to be in," but I see you're only asking for posts twice a month. I can do twice a month...

...

Is it allowed for a player to create an explorer sheet but NOT an Empire sheet? I have a species I was gonna use in a different roleplay once upon a time, but that RP died before it started. These would be... Erm...

My species would be computer programs. They'd literally be computer programs flying a small fleet of ships through space, probably all that's left of their species.

Would this be allowed?

Someone is already doing this. @rush99999 is playing as a single, unified A.I. computer program which controls a fleet of ships, drones, and robots.

Of course, there's no reason we can't have two.

But why not have a nation? Are there so few of your computer programs left that they can't be considered a nation?

EDIT: Also, I might try to absorb them into my empire.

If someone's already doing it (sorry, I didn't notice), I'll refrain. I can easily make something else.

I'd very much like to play something that's not a true nation, however. A fleet works well for that. I was thinking of either having a species which has been mostly wiped out / enslaved OR playing a fleet which has been separated from their home planet in a distant galaxy and can't find their way home.

I'll chew on some ideas.
