@Carlsberg I think we can work her in as she was since she wasn't a guns and ammo style vigilante or one who runs around with the arsenal of a billionaire. The tk powers really set her apart. I'll look over the revised sheet in a bit though if you wanted to change her...
@Double yeah we've still got room for another alien. An alien law enforcer though, especially ala Green Lantern will have to have a superb character sheet. Couldn't be as powerful either!
@Lmpkio thanks for watching over this. I'm gonna get to work on the IC now, been a long day...
This isn't really working out, especially since I think I just kind of lost motivation after losing all my previous notes. Probably going to have to drop this. Sorry about that. :(
@Rin Awww man, don't go :(. But yeah, I understand as well. If you want to leave, thats fine with us, for we'll be always open and your welcome to come back in anytime.

Agreed. The more the merrier.
Now @The Kid Lantern, are we gonna start this thing sometime soon? Just curious, because if I don't get a post up today, I might not be able to get one up till next week.
Powers: Zyberian physiology gives the race a good deal of strength. Their scaly skins make them tougher to injure than most species, and their claws make for excellent natural weapons, even if their original purpose was for tearing bark from trees for eating. As a reptilian-like species, they also possess some keen senses, particularly a heightened sense of smell and hearing, as well as an ability to see more clearly underwater than most creatures.
~Alien Arsenal~
Plasma Lancer: The standard weapon of choice for Star Force Officers. It's actually a modular weapon capable of shifting between three main attacking modes: blade, rifle, and blaster. Rifle mode is for concentrated long ranged shots; blaster mode shortens the range in exchange for a shotgun-esque spread shot; while blade mode emits its plasma in the form of a blade, allowing it to be wielding like spear or glaive, likely the inspiration for the weapon's name.
Interceptor: The standard patrol ship of Star Force. They're designed mostly for speed and agility for the sake of pursuing fleeing vessels, but are just large enough to house a holding cell for captured criminals. Some officers add personal touches to their ship, and in Zandar's case, this amounts to the Star Force insignia having a large letter "Z" behind it like a backdrop. The Z stands for both Zyberian, and for his name, Zandar.
Star Force Power Suit: The uniform of Star Force, as it were. Though it's called a power suit, it's only real functions are basic protection against most environments, it be used as a space suit if worn with the helmet, and it's equipped with a few utilities for pursuit and capture, namely a set of size-adjustable handcuffs and handheld EMP emitter for disabling electronic devices and technologies. Finally, the suit came with a earpiece that can be used as a universal translator.
Weaknesses: Since Zyberian's are essentially reptiles, this means they have a cold-blooded nature. While not as severe as reptiles on Earth, extreme cold environments can cause their natural systems to shut down, as if they were going into hibernation.
Alignment: Hero, though he's not above the occasional rule-bending if it's for a greater good, or if his own personal honor is at stake.
Personality: Honorable, but weary of strangers, Zandar's trust and loyalty are difficult to obtain. When they are earned, however, Zandar becomes perhaps the best kind of friend one could have, as his trust and loyalty are usually kept for life unless something drastic happens to change that. Zandar will usually keep to Star Force regulations whenever possible, not having the same reputation for side-stepping them as Ascalon had. He will do so if it serves a greater good, or if perhaps his or a friend's personal honor is at stake.
Appearance:

BRIEF Bio: 20 earth years ago, the peaceful jungle planet of Zyberia made contact with visitors from another planet. Not knowing what to make of the foreigners, the local tribe of Zyberians greeted the strangers with cautious optimism. The visitors, however, were not there for making peace. They were slavers who worked for a Cartel operating from a neighboring planet within the same sector. They believed the strong-looking reptiles with their tough hides and sharp claws would make for ideal laborers and pit fighters. Having no means to counter the advanced technology of the slavers, Zyberians were captured and rounded up in droves. Soon several ships full of freshly captured Zyberians were on their way to the Davros System, the home of the aforementioned Cartel. There the reptilian-like Zyberians were auctioned off as hard laborers, while those not bought by specific clients were sent off to the planet's Coliseum to serve as pit fighters for the entertainment of the locals and Cartel leaders. Among them was a child named Zandar.
In the Coliseum, the young Zandar saw many other races and peoples he'd never seen before. For almost 15 earth years, Zandar was made to fight against complete strangers in front of an audience of thousands, though sometimes he would be made to fight against other Zyberians. Fights were always to be to the death, and failure to kill one's opponent would result in both combatants being put to death. It was by sheer force of will that Zandar lasted as long as he did, though sometimes luck played a part in it as well. 15 years he fought, and for each of those fights, he noticed at least one face in the audience that never seemed to change. It was the face of an obviously wealthy individual, a man of some sort, who sat in what clearly looked like a reserved balcony seat. Was he perhaps the man in charge of the Cartel? The one who gave the order to enslave Zandar's people? Either way, it was mostly thoughts of getting his claws around that man's throat that kept Zandar going, kept from losing hope completely.
A new set of fighters was brought in one day, and among the a peculiar man of sorts. He was a blue-skinned humanoid of some kind, with pointed ears and pitch black eyes. By this time Zandar was the last survivor of his kind that were brought in. The blue-skinned man seemed to take an interest in Zandar, and for almost a week he continually tried to make conversation but with no success. The last people Zandar and his race tried to communicate with enslaved them, so the reptilian's paranoia was not unwarranted. However, Zandar did eventually cave in and speak with the man, who called himself Ascalon. Ascalon claimed that he was not really a slave, and that soon all the slaves on Davros would be freed. It sounded like madness like Zandar, but Ascalon insisted that he was here intentionally as an inside man on behalf of something called the Star Force, whatever that meant. Crazy as he sounded, Ascalon was the friendliest person Zandar had met and so the two became reluctant friends. A couple of weeks later, the two were selected as the next pair of combatants to fight and both were taken out to the Coliseum floor to carry out the battle. Before they were separated, Ascalon managed to whisper something in Zandar's ear, "Go along with the fight, but keep your eyes and ears open. Today's the day." They fought briefly, Zandar having superior strength and easily overpowering the more human Ascalon. But in the middle of the fight distant noises suddenly stopped them from continuing. Ships Zandar didn't recognize began flying down from beyond the sky and people in armored suits began dropping in and attacking the slavers. One of them threw a strange weapon to Ascalon, who caught it and used it to expertly take down the ones attacking him and Zandar, with Zandar still using his claws and natural strength. When it was said and done, most of the slavers were arrested, though the leader got away. As for Zandar, he was taken aboard one of the ships by Ascalon, who began explaining things in full.
Star Force, the people who flew in and attacked the cartel, were the law enforcement arm of an organization called the United Planets. It was some kind of government made up of representatives from all the planets and systems that were considered members, and Star Force was created to act as their military during times of war, and as their enforcers of the law during times of peace. Being the sole Zyberian liberated from the Davros Coliseum, Zandar wasn't exactly in a position to return home, since he probably wouldn't last long alone. Having also noted this, Ascalon offered Zandar membership in Star Force, apparently he had enough clout to ensure that Zandar's recruitment would be approved. Seeing it as a chance at a higher calling, with perhaps a small chance of actually getting his hands on the man who got away, Zandar readily agreed. Once in Star Force, Zandar completed the basic training rather quickly. His time in the Coliseum certainly helped speed things along, and soon he himself partnered with Ascalon of all people, though he was certain Ascalon himself likely played a part in getting the two partnered together. From there, Ascalon became a mentor of sorts, teaching Zandar the more intricate details of how Star Force and the United Planets operated. Zandar's time with Ascalon for the next five earth years.
Recently, when he was sent on a deep cover mission, Ascalon suddenly stopped checking in with Star Force as was the standard regulation. Ascalon had a bit of a reputation for ignoring regulations or just outright breaking them for the sake of a specific judgement call, but for him to seemingly just vanish while undercover? That certainly didn't seem like a good sign. Zandar was tasked with finding Ascalon and discovering what happened. When he investigated Ascalon's last known location, he found signs of a struggle, and a lot of blood that matched Ascalon's DNA. The Star Force higher ups concluded that Ascalon's cover must have been blown and he was assassinated. They closed the case, but something about it just didn't sit right with Zandar, and still doesn't now. Every now and then, Zandar finds himself using his free time to unofficially look more into the case, but has yet to turn up any leads.
Storylines: @MsMellowWell, seeing as how he's a law enforcer, it seems pretty obvious for him to do something with our resident alien outlaw. Perhaps they can fight briefly when he tries to arrest her for charges she may not actually be guilty of, perhaps leading to them teaming up to take down the actual perpetrator?
This one's a bit more personal, but I'd like to do a Winter Soldier-esque storyline involving Ascalon. Not exactly the same story, but a similar basis, the former friend/partner thought to be dead suddenly shows up again but is brainwashed as someone else's personal assassin/supersoldier. We could also maybe do the whole "HYDRA planting itself within SHIELD" thing and apply it to Star Force, maybe?
I apologize if the ship isn't exactly great. Unfortunately, spaceships have never been my forte, so if anyone knows any better suggestions I'm all ears. xD
@Double Looks good! I see no problems with him. Awaiting GM's final verdict.
As for a ship, it looks good with the whole crosscut thing. I think it looks fine. Plus Im not sure what other ships could suit him anyways so there's that. Overall he looks good :)
@Double Umm...I can't allow that power suit uniform. We already have one hero with a power suit, 2 with a power suit is to much. I would make a mix of two different suits and allow certain parts to be armored (i.e. gauntlets, boots, shoulders and head) but the rest I would use something similar to the space suit used in the film The Martian (i.e. slimmer, more form fitting, and slightly armored chest). Because as the only villain with any kind of armor (which is essentially just the Nolan Batsuit) I wouldn't want to come up against either you, let alone both of you, even as part of a team.
Also, your only weakness is 'Extremely cold environments'. That's it. The extreme cold. I mean, the cold is kind of a given being that you're a reptile. Because let's be honest here, we're placing this city in North Carolina. Their temperatures range from the 90's to 50's thru the year unless a cold front makes it past the mountains. Maybe instead of the extreme cold have it being that cold temperatures make him slow and sluggish to the point that he eventually needs to retreat to get warm again or falls into a hibernation like state. Maybe have bright lights blind you? And if you change the uniform to what I suggested a rupture in the suit could also be a weakness if the suit was keeping your core temperature from dropping to low while out in the cold.
@Double Umm...I can't allow that power suit uniform.
And if you were a GM or Co-GM, this might actually matter to me. Thankfully, you are neither. No offense, but only KL and Lmpkio have the authority to "not allow" something. If they say its fine, then tough rocks to you, pal.
