So, I've been trying to find any natural connections for characters to meet Andrew. Like, points of accidentally coming across each other. And I've got a few thoughts on possibilities, none of them very concrete, but I figured I'd toss them out there anyway. Obviously, as the story goes opportunities'll change, but connections are good things to have. And moments of recognition and stuff, I dunno. Probably don't want to get Andrew knowing everyone, but if any of these strike someone's muse, we can run with them.
@DirgeThe first one I've got is that possibly, Andrew's mum might've been working in the library when Eric just totally destroyed four theses.... *lehorror* Unless it's just the covers the roots are growing out of and not through the books, then he gets a free pass. :P And she might try to offer him some small words of encouragement, bits of advice sort of thing. Or even give him Andrew's phone number like a weird person since she's likely seen him around and knows he's not a bad guy. She can be as creepy, or sneaky, or overt about what she's doing as you want her to be if you like this idea. If not, *tosses it out a window*
@Lord WraithEllara and Andrew might live in the same building, or in nearby buildings, just come across each other naturally while walking places. So, facial recognition, not much else. Or neighbours he's borrowed ingredients from and then given cookies to. Helped Ellara move into Alexis'? He might know Alexis more readily. Or maybe they're neighbours who don't know each other but Andrew and Janelle need to empty their fridge and invite them over for a potluck if they need to empty their fridge too, or just a power outage party... They have a barbecue, so they can still cook things.
@NattyI think Amir goes to the Main Campus? If not, could use something with Andrew's parents. But if he does, there are any number of ways they could meet up. From having been in the same class at one point, to getting into a conversation during their breaks (Andrew is very happy to talk with anyone if he's feeling talkative), literally bumping into each other, maybe meeting in the Milk district at some point.
@HeathenHaven't thought of anything for Skylar other than the youtube knowing, but still not sure about that. Or I guess same as Amir they might've run into each other on campus if that's where Skylar's going to school.
And I got nothing yet for Miles or Kalvin. But they can meet someone else first. :P
I mean, probably, at some point, crime fighting will happen....
