And then t'Telnur Oklebwaira comes out of nowhere with a technology that will defeat both of you, muhahahaha! (if only xD)


The Federation would develop some tech to resist it, and the Xim would mutate themselves beyond recognition in an attempt to gain immunity. Eventually you'd just be dealing with two pissed off and invincible nations, who have finally put aside their differences and allied under a single cause: fucking up the t'Telnur.

Edit: @Hael I'm sure you'll be glad to know that i'm going to be using meters to give a rough estimate of the size of my ships xD

So kind of a weard question but are we gonna have sound in space? i know it sounds weird but if where gonna have the sounds of lazer beams and stuff exploding i would like to know.

This is true, but I had to. My NS is far from finished, so I want to wait to put it up, but there were already 3 people who had finished their NS sheets and were waiting on me to create an IC so they could post. It would have been bad GMing to make them wait on me, so I went ahead and created the IC, that way those who are done may post instead of waiting on me to finish my NS. It was just the fair thing to do. I hardly think I should be insulted for that.

Well... there's sound on board the ships, assuming they have air or water or something xD, but there's no sound out in the void of space. If a ship explodes in a place with nothing for the sound to travel through (like space), then it doesn't make any noise.

@Hael ok sweet because some writers always make explosions in space for dramatic effect. and since this was a sandbox i didnt exactly know how realistic you guys where gonna go.

This is true, but I had to. Besides, the whole point of not posting until you have an N.S. up is so to be sure that you have G.M. approval.
I am the G.M. Who's approval would I be putting the NS up for? My own? This may surprise you, but I've already approved myself

I have to do what's best for the RP, and in this case, that was starting the IC so that others can post with or without me. I'm not going to wait for the RP to slowly die while I finish my NS, just so that I won't be mildly hypocritical.

Yep. A cold war for now, anyway. Both sides kinda-sorta know that a fight is probably coming soon, but neither is ready to fire the guns yet. Right now, it's a waiting game.

Wouldn't it have cost the Federation a ton of money to manufacture enough modern tech to bring the primitives up to date? Afterall, you would have to build the Dalthu, Janari, and Aldzur at least a few of their first space vessels, modern weapons, modern buildings, and so on, because they wouldn't have been able to do these things on their own at first.

Economically, assimilating primitive people would not have a very good impact
