Could do that. Ariel is inside the Phoenix Wing hotel at the moment though. So unless she comes in then might be a tad harder for them to meet.

Ferrin's Aether magic

Its color sceme consists mainly of silver and grey, with small amounts of other other colors like gold, a darker gold, orange, blue and green woven through it.

Ariel's magic to some extent already acts like Takeover. The Phoenix magic for instance. So it would not be a magic that she can utilize.
