Swimming towards the land, Unit a51FLwo8641i could see the others gathering, and the burning sensation returned. Walking out of the water, he felt his hand clench into a fist much to his confusion.

Continuing to approach the group, Unit a51FLwo8641i walked slowly aware that he was fully armed with his sword, escrima sticks, and assortment of knives. As well, he stopped running his psionic powers, removing the "cloak" around him. He removed his helmet, clipping the grey object to his belt and stared at the other members with his eerily glowing blue eyes.

Logically speaking, Draco understood Jesse's logic. After all, it was important that the people who were staying on did so because they wanted to (and for the right reasons as well). However something in his gut disliked the idea; Looking at those whom had decided to come and try to be titans, he could see that all of them had potential in the same way that a piece of metal had the potential to become an important cog in a machine... granted some needed a lot more refining then others...

Getting permission to look at her was an interesting experience, but something that only caused Draco to smile warmly. "Oh I am very aware that you're attractive. It just feels wrong to gawk you like a creeper, you know?"

Turning his head to look at the guy who was offering to do interviews with people who was asking about his Goddess, Draco actually paused for a moment in order to consider just how to broach the subject with his team. Taking a small breath, Draco answered "Very well. To my knowledge I am the first and so far only worshiper of the rogue goddess of benevolent tyranny." Seeing the reaction to this was going to be interesting to say the least.

Charles would while being a ways from the others, get ready to do some of his training. "Inventory!" he says and reaches into the menu that appears infront of him and pulls out the reverse katana. reason it's a reverse katana wit the cutting part being on the inside while the blunt part on the outside as to not cut those who Charles slices unless he flips the blade around. the inventory menu would vanish and he would hold the hilt with two hands like a katana is to be held "...to think my own friend wants me to stick to this code sense he gave me this as a farewell present..." he says to himself shaking his head "alright.. lets do this" he says and takes a stance before swinging the sword through the air, after 5 swings 3 alerts would appear in his vision stating he has learned a new skill. he would open them up and read their contents;





Charles would shake his head some at the new skills "...in terms of power these are weak in their current forms... time to 'grind'" he says and goes back to swinging his blade, he would get tired out after just 10 more swings, so he would sit down and rest, listening to the party. He only needed a few moments to rest from a workout unlike others.

Johnny crossed his legs and took a seat in the air just a few feet away from the fire with everyone else. After the toast he had tossed his root beer back into the ice box, as fun as the novelty of a toast was it quickly wore off for a person who actually can't drink to it. "So this it what other young heroes are like?" Johnny thought to himself, in all honesty it kind of surprised him how... normal they were. Ever since he could remember Johnny had been dealing with other lost souls, some form of supernatural creature, or some of the heroes who defiantly didn't have a single fun bone in their bodies. To see people laughing, joking, partying, and having fun... Johnny loved it. But he was pulled out of his thoughts when he noticed the strange figure staring at the group not to far off. "Hey guys I hate to pull everyone from gawking at blondie, but..." He said as he jabbed a thumbs behind him towards the strange figure he noticed. "Is the weird cyber ninja with us or are we under attack? Either way I think something should be done about that because I hear unchecked robo assassins are a leading cause of death in young heroes."

Mara had yet to arrive. She hadn't been at the opening ceremony, she had been assisting Peing-Khan with a personal matter, but now walked along the beach towards them. She waved her hand and her costume changed to have a large sun-hat, sun-glasses and Bathing suit ((Authors note: I REFUSE to post a picture of a childs bathing suit, through fear of getting caught by Operation: Yewtree)) "First of you to wolf whistle gets reported to the nonce-brigade." she called. She walked towards them before and looked around "Well, aren't we a rag-tag band of heroes." she said. She then saw a cyborg ninja one of them "Well, ahoy-hoy!" she waved "I like cyborgs, they tend not to ask as many stupid questions." She then saw the ghost. "Oh cool." she said, skipping over to him. "Tell me, how are you still bound to this world? Are you the servant of a god? Because if you are, i'd love to meet him." She looked him over.

Mara quickly looked around at the others. She then saw J'Zen "Oh my word, do my eyes deceive me?" she laughed before floating over to him "J'Zen, Zatty's little boy, I remember you." she said "How is the old fart? Still a chauvinistic pig?" she asked "I swear, him and that whole fucking league." she sighed.

Jesse smiles invitingly her turquoise eyes glittering with curiosity her stance relaxed but her mind in active overdrive.

Johnny watched as the blonde speedster went and addressed the techno ninja that was eyeing down the team, Johnny hadn't known the girl long but he didn't want anything happening to her so he kept his ghostly backside on guard as he watched the two interact. His attention wasn't completely grabbed, but he didn't offer some of it to the young looking, hat totting girl that had just joined the group. Though she looked pretty unassuming Johnny could practically feel the magical aura coming off this girl, being on the astral plane did come with a few of its benefits. "Short-stack your guess is as good as mine. And if I was on good terms with big G I doubt my see through butt would still be floating around here. But I can't direct you to his right hand man, or was it left hand? Either way the guy really takes the whole godly spirit thing to heart."

Operative stared blankly at the blonde haired girl and replied, "I am Unit a51FLwo8641i, designated 'Operative'."

Unit a51FLwo8641i paused, before tilting his head slightly. His mussy black hair slightly obscured his luminous, blue eyes, but he made no move to fix it. Giving the girl a smile, Unit a51FLwo8641i thrust his hand forward, offering a handshake. His moved with a quick, twitchy smoothness, signifying that he was used to running, moving, manipulating faster than most can follow.

His smile was a bit off. It was to wide to fully seem sane, looking more like a victim of Joker gas than a normal smile. As well, the smile didn't quite reach the lifeless, almond shaped, azure orbs, which blazed with an unknown energy. Something lurked behind them, something strange and disturbing that gave his stare a sharp and penetrating quality. It was almost as if the boy had never smiled before this moment.

Jesse has to admit he's creepy to look at because something is unnatural about Operative but past experience growing up an meeting Aliens, Extra-Dimensional beings and a few who hail from mythical realms has taught her not to judge too quickly. Hell she has a Ghost on her team so he isn't all that strange

She does plan on sending a Data search to the Justice League Computers to Vet him before she fully accepts his presence; too many have gained easy access to other teams in the past only to later be revealed to have nefarious intentions.

While a couple of people were fixated on the cyborg, James just gave the newcomer a quick glance and decided to let their leader handle the situation, it didn't seem all that bad to him. He took a bite of his cheeseburger and then a sip of root beer before his eyes caught the sight of Mara. Another girl so at least there wouldn't be too much competition for relationships on the team. He walked up to her with another bottle in his other hand and offered it to her.

"You must be another member of our team, welcome. My name is James, but I also go by Strange Beast. You'll see why they call me that probably sometime soon" he said with a grin.

"What's your name?" he then asked her curious to know.

Standing there, in his combat suit and covered in sea water, his eyes flicked between his new teammates, analyzing the different individuals before him. He had never been with so many people his age before, too many new unknowns, too many new factors. Unit a51FLwo8641i made no move to move from his spot, and stood there watching.

After that the blonde ran over to the tables and finished her work setting out the food. Then once she was done she announced "Chow's On!" as she piled a plate high with provider such as meat an potato salad.

James was wondering if there would be any missions happening anytime soon and if he would get a chance to see how his teammates would use their powers in combat.

When he failed to get a response out of the man who seemed interested in his Goddess, Draco sighed before turning his attention towards greener piasters. Namely the food that a less attentive person might have believed to be appearing out of thin air. In his own way Draco envied the speedster for her no doubt useful abilities, but he was happy with what talents he did have and he wasn't about to forsake them for anything.

As he walked to claim his own share of the food (Mostly meat, through he did help himself to a few of the healthier options where provided... and avoiding the potato salad completely), Draco calmly walked over to take a seat around where he suspected everyone would soon before gathering before starting with "Here is a game for everyone to break the ice a little; Claim three powers or abilities that you process but only one of them is true. The rest of us have to guess which one it is."

"I'll start off. I have x-ray vision, can freeze things with ice breath and bench press over five tons. Who wants to guess first?" Draco asked with a playful grin, not betraying a hint of which of his claims was real or fake.

Their ship just seemed to appear out of nowhere and landed in the community of Indian Creek where their first casualty was a police cruiser responding to a complaint about the landing from the wealthy residents that called the exclusive neighborhood home.

These brutal soldiers of some far off planetary empire waded through the security staff, police and Dade county Sheriff's department. Before someone remembered the Titans and sent out the call for help.

(The island is about ten miles north of the Tower on one the barrier islands. It is an enclave of some 41 mansions and a country club. The aliens have seized control of the causeways that allow access to the island and driven all but a few humans off and are known to have killed at least seven police officers and an unknown number of civilians)

I'd warp to above the beach, hovering high in the sky as I appeared at the location of destination. My eyes were heavy with sleep deprivation, baggy and wearing a solemn expression. I'd slowly hover down until my bear feet touched the sand of the beach. Id immediately take notice of the group ahead of me, that I assumed were going to be my teammates. While it was necessary to greet myself I was far to exhausted to be bothered with and their cheerful attitudes were signs of an annoyance that will give me a headache. With my hood draped over my head and white cape flowing behind me I stared at the group with an indifferent expression from a distance of about 10 feet.

James heard the sounds of the alarm going off, which could only meant one thing, that there was trouble going and it required their attention and help.

"Hay guys? I think we should put this party on hold and get to kicking some bad guy butt" he said to his teammates as began to shift into one of his forms. He was trying to decide if swimming or flying a better choices.
