Homo Novi, the next stage of human evolution, Indigo Children. For years stories of young people with incredible abilities have been cropping up all over the world. No one ever really took much notice of these tales, leaving them for the tabloids and sensationalist news websites. They were written off as hoaxes and crackpot conspiracy stories. But now there are those who are taking notice. A year ago a secret organisation Known only as Indigo, operating behind the legitimate Genetic Research company Evolution Incorporated, began collecting these unique youngsters. They'd come in the night, black vans and commandos, to snatch away their targets leaving not a single lead for local authorities to follow. Those that are taken are shipped away to a unknown location where they are kept and studied with the hopes that their powers could be harnessed and marketed to the world's militaries and general public by Evolution Inc. In the Indigo Facility the children are given relative freedom, giving their prison the feel of an innocent boarding school. But their freedom is, naturally, a thinly veiled lie. Cameras watch their every move, every word they say is recorded, guards patrol the halls, and every day, between normal classes and their freetime, they are forced to test their abilities as men and women in white coats watch. Sometimes children will be taken down into the mysterious sub-level labs for further testing, they never return, and those left behind have to wonder "How long until I am taken?".

Name: Figaro “Snow” Marconi

Figaro’s nickname “Snow” is as apparent as the stark-white hair on his head. His eyes are steel-gray and his countenance is friendly. He tends to wear large loose shirts and cargo pants with numerous pockets where he can store things. He is 4’5” and weight 72 lbs. His physique is rather thin, but in a healthy manner.

Personality: Figaro is a curious child and likes to explore places he’s never been and collect things that are exotic, shiny, or rare. His pockets are always full of an assortment of things from rocks, crystals, bird feathers, and maybe a rodent or two. He likes to catch creatures like frogs and small critters, but he never keeps them. If they are hurt, he will do his best to nurse them back to health and return them to the wild. The boy is kind, well-mannered, and friendly in nature. He makes friends easily, and tends to avoid those kids who seem like bullies. He doesn’t like conflict, but if he has to defend himself or another, he isn’t afraid to do so. He doesn’t like violence and so when he fights, he will hold back because the idea of hurting another person upsets him (he is quite sympathetic).

Bio: Figaro remembered playing in the park. His mother and father were sitting together on one of the park benches, watching the children on the playground with nostalgic smiles. Figaro had went on an adventure and was running across the grass field chasing a fleeing stray dog whose left paw had been hurt. He chased the dog toward the street when a black van roared forth and struck the dog dead before his eyes. Before Figaro had a chance to react, men poured out of the vehicle clapping a chloroform pad over his face as they hauled him into the van. Figaro passed out and woke up far from home, wearing clothes that weren’t his, and in a room that wasn’t his bedroom back at home.

Kinetic Energy Manipulation (Power 1): The ability to create, shape, and manipulate kinetic energy—the energy possessed by any moving object, the ability for any object with a given mass to move from its resting position. The kinetic energy gained during the acceleration process changes once the speed also changes, and when the object no longer contains the kinetic energy it has possessed as it accelerates it stops moving. The work needed to make an object stop is equivalent to the kinetic energy possessed during travel. Figaro can transfer kinetic energy from one object to another, thus possibly strengthening attacks, tearing holes in walls with a simple touch, turn an object’s potential energy into kinetic energy resulting in explosive energy or cause the target to be unable to move and halt in motion.
Delayed Effect (Power 2): Figaro can delays the effect of anything to a later time. For example, he can strike a target, but the impact of the strike may not be immediately experienced until seconds later, minutes later, an hour later. The downside to this ability is that the user is unable to control when the enemy will experience the delayed effect, and once the damage has been placed into delay, it cannot be undone. However, Figaro can control when he uses delayed effect.

Evolution Inc. has been unable to pinpoint exactly what powers Snow possesses due to how similar they are to other abilities. They so far believe him to be a telekinetic, and with the tests they have conducted, the results haven’t convinced them to believe that he is anything but. But as we know OOC, they are wrong.

For example, if you had a dog, and that dog made you confident enough to use your power in public...etc.

Alice is tall, and her body is slender. Her shoulders slump slightly as she walks- it’s almost as if she’s trying to make herself appear smaller. Her long hair is an ice blue that usually hangs down freely, but occasionally is corralled into a loose ponytail or what appears to be an attempt at a braid. Her skin is a light ivory, with dark shadows under her eyes. Eyes so light a grey they almost seem white are trained on the ground constantly, and her lips part ever so slightly. Gangly arms dangle listlessly by her sides, nails bitten down, and knit sweater several inches above her wrists. She tends to stick to stormy colors, but will occasionally go for neutrals as well (her hair is often the only “color” in her outfit).

Personality: (INFP Myers-Briggs) Alice is a fairly quiet human, and tends to keep to herself around new people. She’s private, reserved, and difficult to get to know. But once she gets to know somebody and becomes friends with them, she’s intensely loyal, unflinchingly kind, and a great listener, but often takes things far too personally, though she does enjoy the company of those skilled in sarcasm. At her core she’s an optimist and an idealist, but those values have been forced deep within her after being taken. She’s a daydreamer, and often rushes into things without fully thinking them through (like dying her hair blue). Alice is willing to work for what she wants (she is easily caught up in a creative fervor and forgets to eat, drink, shower, or sleep), but is too shy to stand up publicly for what she believes in. She refuses to do anything that would hurt others, and absolutely loathes violence, no matter what the reason.

Bio: As a young child, Alice was incredibly shy and had quite a bit of difficulty making friends. One day, while hosting a tea party for her stuffed animals, her powers kicked in, and she passed out. She awoke with her favorite stuffed animal (a purple giraffe named Charlie) peering over at her in concern. Instead of being afraid of this animal, she embraced it, and she became best friends with it. For years she managed to keep her secret, and with Charlie’s help and advice, learned to control her powers. But one day, during a difficult science test, her emotions raged out of control, and she accidentally animated her test. It began jumping up and down, singing the answers to the tune of “I Gotta Feeling”, and to her growing dismay, was joined by the class lab rats. Weak from using this power, she staggered out of the room and ran away. She was apprehended in a PetCo, where she had just finished purchasing a Betta Fish (which she named Alistair). On her way back to where she had left her bicycle, a man smothered her face in a chlorofoam-soaked washcloth. She woke up in the school, in a room that was empty save for the bed and a table with a chair in the corner.

Power 1: Give Inanimate Objects Life- Alice has the ability to give any inanimate object sentience, allowing them to walk, talk, or even sing (like the “Be Our Guest” song in Beauty and the Beast). She simply “unlocks” their personalities- she has absolutely no control over the demeanor, voice, or actions of these objects. The larger and more complex the object, the more energy it takes to animate. After they have been animated, it is impossible for her to restore them to their previously inanimate state, unless she decides to physically smash the object.

Power 2: Increase the Sentience Level of Non-Human Living Things- Basically, she can take a non-human animal and increase its sentience enough for it to speak(no matter the structure of its vocal chords). Like with inanimate objects, she has no control over the animal- she “unlocks” its personality and allows it to express itself through words. In addition to that, the smaller the brain of the animal, the easier it is for her to increase its intelligence and speech ability. Once the animals’ sentience levels have been increased, it is not possible for her to take it away.

Alistair’s body is mostly black, with flecks and dots of teal on his body and face. He has a large, moon-like tail, and his left fin is slightly smaller than his right, causing him to swim in small circles.

Pet Personality: After Alice increased his sentience, Alistair became the equivalent of a sarcastic teenager. He makes dirty jokes and is a horrible gossip, but is fiercely protective of Alice, and will sass anybody who threatens her. He’s demanding,a little bit obnoxious, and forces Alice to carry him around in a portable, custom-made fish tank (she doesn’t mind- she finds him hilarious, and good company).

Quick question- do we need to put sexuality anywhere on this? Also, let me know if there's anything that needs changing.
