Most noticeable about River are his tattoos - suppose that's where we start. He has a myriad along his arms, forming 'sleeves': his first one is part Alkaline Trio (a band), and lots of other random incorporations, but mostly it forms a skull in a heart. There's a koala bear drinking Seagram’s 7 Crown whiskey, which was recent and purely out of impulse. He has an inverted cross, open for interpretation. The Misfits skull was his second tattoo, and the Danzig was his third (not to mention it was done messily by some addict at a party). He's got plenty of incompletes, but one that stands out most is his unfinished Batman tattoo, done by a friend. Then there's a matching Batman logo, which simply reminds him of his childhood as a comic book-obsessed kid. He's got Azrael, the avenging angel in the Batman: Knightfall series, that came in when [the series’ villain] Bane broke Bruce Wayne’s back. Finally, he's got song lyrics written all along his chest, collarbones, and hands, kind of cringey, but he constantly display them.

For someone who's actually quite sensitive, River obviously rocks the 'punk' look. He wears his hair long, jet-black, and with an undercut, so that only the front sweeps over his face. He has militant features, with a sharp and angular jawline, hollowed out from thin cheeks juxtaposed with prominent cheekbones. His nose is very feline, coming down straight and ending in a small point and nostrils, with one piercing on the right. His lips appear to be constantly curved at the very edges, only adding to how catlike he seems - presumably to look a little less innocuous, River has his bottom lip pierced. Most prominent, however, are his eyes, a very vibrant yet pale green, with sharply arched eyebrows looming over them in a constant furrow that makes him look pretty damn irritated all the time. From his face alone, you'd have guessed he was in high school still.

It could be argued that he's kind of wimpy figure tells that tale, too. Not in height - in fact, River stands at a ridiculous six foot three, which one wouldn't expect if they looked at his face alone - but in weight, where he seems unable to pack on any muscle or actual fat. He weighs 150 pounds, and the only muscle he has comes from roughhousing, only apparent on his upper arms and maybe his calves; otherwise, he has a thin, straight torso, with similarly shaped legs. He's not the intimidating kind of six-foot-three giant, that's for sure.

- He picks at his tattoos. It's annoying for both the artist and himself, when he looks back to find that pretty damn good art has faded by his own accord.
- Similarly, he plays with his piercings whenever he's thinking. River will, during regularly conversation, constantly swipe his tongue over the ring in his lip, or bite down on it carelessly. It makes your toes curl to watch.
- To compensate for his unbelievable height, River slouches. He looks like the goddam Hunchback of Notre Dame, if the Hunchback was some punk rocker. He's always sticking his spine and shoulderblades out, like he's preparing to take flight.
- Obsessed with his hair. Won't let anyone touch it unless they're deemed worthy. He wears so much product in it he smells like a walking perfume manufacturer.
- Doesn't seem to understand how to control the volume of his voice. River, when he's excited, will suddenly start shouting, or at least forget how to use his 'inside voice.'

- Obviously, writing. It's not always for payment, though. To mess with his friends, he'll write little stories featuring them. It's both unsettling and endearing.
- Ever the artist, River has a penchant for sketching on random things, but never seems to have his own sketchbook. You'll find little portraits on restaurant napkins, or bus stop benches, or scratched into cement in train stations, or in finger smudges on windows - really, the list is never-ending, and it's all done by River.
- He's a hoarder. He collects things and refuses to give them away. "What's that?" "Y'know, my water bottle wrapper collection." No one collects those, River. He insists that they have special meanings.

- Literature (particularly American Depression & Prohibition-era)
- Physical exercise
- Fruit juice (always seems to have a bottle on hand)
- Dark clothing. In summer. He's gotta be stopped.
- Music. Any type. You name it. Especially random-ass tracks on SoundCloud.

- Anything where he's to be judged or tested or compared - which is exactly why he loathed school.
- When he doesn't receive immediate gratification. Impatient kid.
- Standing around anywhere. He'll up and ditch the train station if his ride's taking too long.
- Coffee shops. Malls. Thinks they're pretentious. Similarly, clubs, but because he thinks everyone's a phony.
- PDA. God help him, he has no sympathy for people who are always kissing and hugging needlessly.

- Isolation/solitude/general loneliness
- He fears anxiety. It doesn't make sense, but if the situation seems like one that'll trigger a panic of any sort, River will give up - he's afraid of getting out of his safe little shell.
- Authority. For someone who is such a delinquent, he's not calibrated to the police.

On one hand, River has the perseverance and drive to do what needs to be done. He is self-sufficient and does not need to depend on other people for the material and physical things in life. On the other hand, he depends on people for emotional support and encouragement. He is not fully self-actualized, and needs the constant support of others and will not be very independent. He craves attention and comfort from other people and he is happiest when he has a small, close knit group of friends or family. River is extremely loyal to those who appreciate and support him. He projects any good feeling onto other people instead of basking in it. Those who want to share deep emotional thoughts and opinions with River might feel that the scales are tipped on one side, for he will rarely reveal his actual feelings.

Aside from incredible shyness and passivity, he is amazingly persevering and will stand up for what he believes in. River is fragile, unpredictable, and temperamental; more than anyone he's known, River needs to be needed. Even when all needs are satisfied, he can be irritable and cranky. His temperament is uneasy and delicate - River has wild mood swings and frequent temper tantrums. Unfortunately, he is easily offended and will sulk and wallow in self pity for a long time when he gets hurt.

It is difficult for River to open up and have a close emotionally fulfilled relationship with someone because he is so closed off, both emotionally and physically, to the world. Driven by his fear of trust, he has a difficult time developing any honest connection between himself and others. He builds up anger and resentment inside, and his contradictory nature really takes a toll on him - River has a very negative outlook on life, thinking that it is just too hard and miserable. When good experiences are to be had, he is skeptical of joyful people and his surroundings. He typically experiences "tunnel vision" due to his depressed outlook, and misses the nice things and pleasant experiences in life that make it worth living.

In addition to a lack of trust in people, River is deeply sensitive and easily hurt. He lives in the past, holding old events close to him and dwelling solely in his memories. Constantly sick with nostalgia, River comes off as mysterious, filled with contradictions. Typically he's very helpful to others, yet sometimes can be cranky and indifferent. His driving, forceful personality can be easily hidden beneath a calm and cool exterior. He is very possessive; not just with material possessions, but with people as well. River will always want to stay in touch with old friends and anyone who has ever been close to him, because it is easier to maintain a friendship than attempt to learn to trust a new person. His memory is excellent and he's very observant, able to read people like the back of his hand. He can usually tell if other people's intentions are good or not.

River grew up in one of the worst neighbourhoods in state - Opa-Locka. He was raised around dealers, mobsters, what have you, and predictably took up the habits of all of these people. Most frequently, he took the weaker route of shoplifting, but was not very discreet about it. In fact, River picked 'favourites,' finding convenience stores that were run by other preteens-to-teens who were much weaker than him (or, compared to the massive River, normal-sized), and worked them into his schedule in such a way that he could hit the shops when no one was able to stop him in his tracks. Despite growing up relatively poor, then, River was able to get by with plenty of food. suffice to say that everything he received in abundance was stolen, time and time again.

His parents were unable to provide because, in his biological mother's case, she was six feet under, and his father was living off welfare. The living parent was injured during military service and decided that, at thirty-five years old, he was all set to retire. While he wasn't entirely disabled (left with a semi-functional shoulder), River's father believed himself to be unable to work entirely and earned pity from his own parents. So, River, his half-sisters Rebecca and Pamela, and his father moved in to two eighty-year-old retirees' run-down home in Miami when he was twelve years old. He was distant from his grandparents, but was easy enough on them because he was aware enough to recognise the complications that came from living on their set income.

He was the favourite child because his special talent was stealing. His half-sisters, eight-year-old twins, were worse off because they had no particular gifts. Not even River treated them very well, always forcing them to distract shopkeeps that he was unable to physically overpower, throwing his household responsiblities upon them, and more. His treatment of his younger sisters was always iffy, and worsened by the fact that he sometimes protected them. When they were being bullied at school or boys behaved like they were wont to around Rebecca and Pamela, River was the first one they came to, and he was the one that sent these abusers to the ICU.

His misfit attitude is what got him sent to juvenile detention multiple times throughout his adolescence. River was even sectioned into behavioral health systems (or, what his father liked to insensitively call 'mental asylums'), and, despite being neurotypical in the truest sense of the word, was misdiagnosed with bipolar I. River never really grew from these visits, other than racking up an extreme amount of hospital bills (which he, of course, paid back himself, even if it took some time to launder all of that money). Because of all this detention and institution business, River was unable to put in enough hours at school. He was expelled when he was fifteen, and finally dropped out on his sixteenth birthday ("about time," he'd say).

Tish is pixie-like in height and weight, measuring in at 5’1” and just over 110 pounds. She has porcelain white skin and wears very little make-up aside from a coating of mascara and peachy lipstick, bright red or black if she’s feeling feisty. Large, caramel brown eyes are the most striking feature of her face. Her hair is naturally dark brown, which she has dyed black since about the age of 14. Sprawling tattoos cover most of her body. Her tats appear to be mostly solid black, but if you look close enough, you will see that most are actually intricate collections of dotwork. As far as clothing goes, Tish sticks to shades of black, white, and grey as opposed to bright colors. She favors crop tops and skinny jeans, or little black dresses, especially the kind with vintage lace or mesh. Chunky boots and spiky heels are a must!

If you were to describe Tish in one word, it would be spunky. She is the fun-loving, energetic girl that everyone wants to be friends with, but are kind of scared to talk to at the same time. When she was growing up, she was quite the rebellious teenager and that ‘give-no-fucks’ attitude has carried on into her young-adult life.

Tish can come off as a bit intimidating and obnoxious, but she really has a heart of gold, honest! As a vegetarian and a rocker-chic artist, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to label her a ‘hippy’, and she wouldn’t mind if you did. Her positive outlook on life is contagious, but likely to grate on any realist’s nerves.

Tish was born and raised in Miami. She grew up in the same school district where she met Nic. They became fast friends and even wound up having their first crushes on the same girl. Dominic didn’t know that at the time, though. Tish was closeted until she was fourteen and Nic was one of the first people she came out to. That was the age when she decided to stop giving a shit about what people thought about her: she wore whatever she wanted, picked up some bad habits, dyed her hair black and started openly dating girls.

Patricia’s father, Frank Webber, is a hot-blooded american and her mother, Regina, was an immigrant from Brighton. Her grandparents still live in the UK, Tish only met them a few times when she was very young. Frank is a college professor at the local school of business, he raised Tish as a loving single father when breast cancer took his wife. Tish has some distant family in other states, and countries, but she is only really close to her dad. Tish was eight when her mom died. Frank was her rock back then and continues to be so to this day. Her dad supported her decision to go to art school, even when he wasn’t confident that one could make a living off of a hobby. Now that she has graduated and really showed her ambition to excel, Frank has helped her start her own business. Tish is happily upper middle class, it’s the only thing she’s ever known. She lives in a small downtown apartment a few blocks from her shop.

Tish is still very close with Dominic, and she’s really glad to have gotten to know Chlo through him. It’s great to not have to worry about drama, Chloe is confident and friendly, Tish wouldn’t know what to do if Nic was marrying some insecure girl that would hate that his best friend was a chick. It might have helped that Tish was pretty consistently in and out of relationships with women, but still, girls had gotten weird about her close guy friends in the past.

To say that Valentina is short is an understatement, tiny works best to describe Valentina Katona's height. Standing at only 1.57m (or 5'1") and weighing in the lower 100lbs, Valentina sports a tiny unassuming figure that is only hidden by Valentina's love for high heels. Her body is somewhat curvy, an hourglass figure that adds more definition to her chest and hip area than someone would expect. Not that she lacks in either department, but a little more definition doesn't hurt anybody right?

When focusing on Valentina's face, the first thing someone will notice is her eyes. Sultry, almond shaped eyes in the lightest shade of blue and framed with defined, dark brown brows that simply add to her already shapely features. Valentina's smouldering lips have a natural pout to them, a rosy shade of pink that look positively sinful to the other (and possibly the same) sex. With a defined nose and jawline, it's safe to say that Valentina doesn't have to worry much about her appearance - especially when she works hard to maintain such perfection.

Her skin is clear, with hints of freckles dusting her forehead that she usually covers up with make-up. Her face is framed with dark brown hair that reaches past her shoulders in smooth waves. Her hair, while dark, has hints of faded blonde at the end that hint at Valentina's experimentation phase a few years ago.

Valentina's style, while simple, is definitely on the flashy side. She loves to look pretty, and she loves to show off. Her closet is filled with in-trend clothes, even more so heels. If there's something that Valentina considers her "statement piece" would be her heels - no matter where she goes Val will always be seen in them. Hey, they make her legs look toned not to mention add a few inches to her hopeless height so why not?

Dresses, skinny jeans and all sorts of cutesy clothing is what Valentina loves the most. While cute, she does make an attempt to keep her outfits professional while at work. If her outfit is not perfect, Valentina will refuse to step outside of her room.

Make-up wise, it's mostly kept natural. She finds there to be no point to wear makeup unless she has to cover up imperfections such as her forehead freckles, undereye bags or a few annoying spots that refuse to leave her alone. The only thing that Valentina loves to experiment with is her shade of lipstick. With her lips, it's a given that Valentina's favourite thing to do (with makeup) is to wear all sorts of pinks, reds and purple lipsticks.

Valentina is a natural leader, so full of passion and charm that she does well in holding the attention of many - whether it be children or other adults. While she doesn't actively search for attention, nor does she shy away from the spotlight when it's on her. Her pretty girl facade is really just that; a facade. Valentina may appear to be confident in her own skills and self, she's very insecure and highly undecisive. Being a people-person, Valentina thinks about the reactions of others before commiting to an action and is quite prone to overthinking and overeacting without intending to.

Valentina is a social butterfly, and loves to interact with other people and simply be in the presence of a crowd even if she's not talking. She fears being alone, making her the type to always stick to someone in a public setting just so she wouldn't feel like she's by herself. Valentina, as mentioned earlier, is a people-person and that means she always thinks about others before herself. Her actions and thoughts are always centred around 'what other people would think', or 'could someone be hurt by the consequences of my actions'. Valentine takes a while to make a decision, and even if she does, she's never sure whether she's made the right one and is always ready to switch if given the opportunity (or a reason) to.

Her perfectionism can be compared to OCD by those not familiar with the disorder. She craves control, and that craving comes in the form of keeping everything in perfect order. Planning meticulously to each detail, whether it be her work or her outfit, or keeping her work station tidy with a perfect system that works for her. Valentina easily gets stressed when she doesn't have the control, when she cannot make things perfect and that can easily lead to a burn out - coupled with her over-thinking nature. Valentina's need for perfection may also alienate her from those that think her to be too controlling or annoying, which adds to her insecurity.

Valentina is a passionate altruist to a fault. If she can help someone out, she will and she will die trying to fix a problem for you. She's very loyal to her loved ones, so you can expect Valentina to go up and beyond expectations when it comes to helping someone out. Her altruist nature makes her want to lead the way to a brighter future, which is exactly how she does by taking up a job as a primary school teacher.

Unsurprisingly, Valentina Inez Katona was born on a chilly Valentine's day to Márton Katona Jr, the Senior Vice President at a bank, and to Lilien Katona, an ex-model turned housewife. Valentina was the second daughter to be born into the family, the first born, Mirella, only three years her elder. With their father's high position, there was very little worry for money. The Katona's were not the type to unecessarily spend their money despite their financial status, but instead the girls were raised to be mindful of their spending - a lesson that stuck to Valentina even today.

Education and competitions were everything to Márton, and it was something that he passed onto his daughters during their time growing up. If they weren't flashy with their money, they certainly were when it came to the children's academic (or in Val's case, sporting achievements). In the Katona household, coming first was the only option and the girls weren't going to question it. This is probably where Valentina's need for control and perfection comes from, so possible daddy issues anyone?

Anyway, for the first decade of Valentina's life, nothing but being the best mattered. At least not until little Daniel was born when Val was seven and Mirelle ten. Well, winning was still important, but the spotlight was shifted from Valentina to the newborn. At least until when Val turned 14 anyway.

Val and her family moved to the US after her father got promoted to the Managing Director at their sister US branch in Miami. Things were still going well for not-so-little Valentina, even after the sudden shift in her routine. She was enrolled to the local high school where she joined the Cheer squad and met Chloe Jameson. The two clicked, and Val found herself sticking to her friend even past high school and into college where she went on to study English and earn her teaching qualification.

Currently Val's happily single, living with her cutie of a dog in a comfortable studio apartment. She's also recently landed her first job as an English teacher teaching primary school children.

Oberon is reasonably tall, standing at about 1.80m (~6ft). He has, however, build up a reasonable figure as a result of his regular physical activities. Because of that, he sports a healthy 200lbs. He is by no means a bodybuilder, and honestly he doesn’t want to be, but he is definitely fit. Oberon usually keeps his brown hair relatively short and his beard as more of a stubble. His light brown eyes are the most notable feature of his face. He does not have any piercings or tattoos (yet).

Most of the time, Oberon is a pleasant person to be around. He is often described as kind, confident and dependable. He is a good listener and is able to perceive and understand the emotions of others quickly. He will always try to help out those in need as long as he is able to. He usually approaches things very seriously and meticulously. He is a hard worker, and expects the same thing from anyone else. As a result, he often ends up bossing people around or getting annoyed at people who aren’t putting in enough effort… in his opinion.

He is rather quick to judge. He is very direct and, if needed, confrontational. He isn’t afraid to tell people what he thinks, even if it doesn’t make him any friends. In that regard, he is rather unapologetic. If he doesn’t like you, he’ll let you know very clearly. He is also rather quickly irritated. These features combined means he gets into trouble with other people rather easily. He has a history of getting into arguments and fights.

The Bergman family had many things: Wealth, health and beautiful children. But it lacked one vital thing: Happiness. If you were to ask Oberon, third child of this family, why this was; he would blame his father. Old man Bergman is a success story. He came forth from a poor family and worked himself up to the board of directives of a large financial group. He married a beautiful woman who gifted him equally beautiful children. But apparently it was this same success that consumed him.

His father demanded perfection from all his children, but in reality even perfection wouldn’t have been enough. It didn’t truly matter how well his children did or how hard they worked, he felt like they could always do better. But the children would not accept that forever, resulting in frequent arguments especially when the eldest grew up. This only grew worse once Oberon’s mother died, and her replacement presented itself mere weeks after her passing. And it was rather clear that this woman had been part of his father’s life for far longer. Even if every child so far did manage to follow the road to success, partially due to their father’s efforts, there was a reason why the eldest four children haven’t returned home ever since they have flown from the nest.

But there were other people in Oberon’s history besides his family, such as his best friend Chloe. Chloe might actually be more relevant to Oberon’s success than his father. The two of them lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same schools, the same college and even ended up working for the same company. It’s still weird to Oberon that their friendship started with such an intense rivalry. The two of them were always competing: Better grades, better toys, better everything. It was only at around college time that the two actually did become friends. They ended up following many of the same courses during their bachelor days and, as it often happens in an unfamiliar environment, were drawn to each other. Instead of their constant bickering they started spending time together, both leisure and study time. What started as a fierce rivalry quickly bloomed into a great friendship.

But this is not a love story. After all, Oberon is simply a groomsman at her wedding. No, Oberon never really fell in love with Chloe. In fact, the girl Oberon has his eye on was also invited to the wedding. Rather unsurprising, really, when your love interest is your best friend’s sister.

Oberon has two older sisters(Juliet & Cordelia), one younger brother (Julius), two half-sisters (Puck & Emilia) and one half-brother(Timon). His mother (Anne) is deceased. His father (Will) is alive and remarried. Financially the family is very well off. However, the family is rather dysfunctional. Oberon sees most family members once a year, and that might be one time too much.

Ehh, the only movie I’ve watched this year is jungle book >.>.

Dominic isn't really big - tall, sure - but not muscular. He's a thin man, not Slender Man-thin, but he doesn't a large assemble of muscle mass. There have been occasions where Dominic's body was called "lean", which is having the ideal fat content for whatever height someone is. Dominic has that. As tall as he is, which is two inches higher than an even 6'0, Dominic's weight isn't proportioned to make him look intimidating or fierce. He imposes a gentle appearance. When they look at him, they don't see a man that will pound them into the ground. They don't see a guy who will back down from a fight, either. Dominic imposes the kind of atmosphere that isn't either of things, yet if you push him far enough, you might be surprised. It doesn't help his case that he also has a very pale, white skintone. That doesn't mean he's albino, but when the sun meets his skin, it will boil deep red. Obviously he doesn't get out much.

Dominic is very indecisive when it comes to his hairstyle. It's like he will go through a style every year. It's been like that since high school, starting at his freshmen year. He would go from short to long to longer to even longer, and then cut it to almost buzzcut-length. It has been noted by his family and his fiance that the latter was his worst yet. Still, there is no denying that Dominic has a track record of being experimental with his hairstyles. There wre even moments of him going blonde. Safe to say it didn't work out so well. Stupid college. Anyways, back on topic. Dominic's hair, now, seemed to ahve found a middle ground from his boy band-esque length and Army Buzzcut as it comes just a few inches above his neckline. The bangs are about three inches away from his eyes when they flow naturally without anything moving them. His natural hair color seems to be around a mix of auburn and some kind of hazelnut brown shade.

It's really hard to pinpoint exactly what the shade of Dominic's eyes are. There have been quite a few people whom have tried to guess what they were. His parents say they are hazelnut like his hair, but Jean often told him that they seem to be more of a lax green-brown hybrid. Other times have been noted by his friends that Dominic's eyes are actually almond with a hint of chocolate brown. Even Chloe told Dominic that she was unsure what his eye color was. Most people really don't know. Dominic isn't even sure himself, so he just went with what seemed to be the general consensus of that kind of light brown, hint of almond shade. Whatever you want to say it is, there is one thing that is true: Dominic's eyes are, regardless of the lighting, what one thinks, or whatever, brown.

Though, generally, Dominic's fashion sense is what is to be expected of him, there is also something quite unique about it. You see, there are two sides to Dominic's fashion style. There's the part that is conservative, traditional, and stylish; it's the side that speaks normality and presentability.This is the side that is usually made up of slacks and sweater vests and button-up shirts. This is the side that Dominic has been known to call his "formal" wear. It's the side where nothing out of the ordinary is spotted. Shirts that are of neutral colors; pants that are of presentable length; shoes that have no flashy design. This is the style of clothing that Dominic wears when he's forced to forsake all uniqueness. This is what he must resort to impress those he must, like possible future employers that will want him for a job, or his future in-laws. This is the style that looks good on him, but it is not the real Dominic Wells.

The second style — the one that Dominic shows only those that he trusts; a style that has Dominic in his true element — is one that is composed of wacky colors, off-beat, totally out of the ordinary, completely opposite of conservative style. It is one that has mismatching socks, hats that are as goofy as the character they are based off of, shirts that often have some comical design, sometimes a caricature of political figures. It is a style that has pants of various makes and of various color combinations. It is a style completely his own, and Dominic owns it. He takes it by the horns like a bullrider, and commands it to walk for him and not him walk for it. Everything about it speaks the true Dominic; the Dominic that Chloe fell in love with after getting to know him; the Dominic that Jean knows, that Chloe knows, that Tish knows, that his parents know — that everyone knows. This is the style that Dominic can be himself without worry of feeling awkward and/or out of place in the clothes he wears. To put quite simply, it's where he feels most like himself. It's where he feels like the real Dominic Petrov Wells.

Dominic could be the first one to admit that he was never one for having an extensive amount of piercings or body art like certain childhood friends of his; however, that doesn't mean that Dom hasn't delved into some aspects of the aforementioned body accessories. During his high school years, Dom was dared by Jean to get his ears pierced. God how it hurt. The fact that something was going to punch a hole through his year frightened him greatly, but he did it because he didn't want to give Jean the bragging rights of rubbing it in his face on how much of a coward that Dominic was. Besides, it was only two(one on each of his earlobes). Still to this day, Dominic keeps his ears pierced. He doesn't wear anything flashy - just a pair of simple pearl earrings that Chloe gave to him for his eighteenth birthday. It also just so happened that his birthday fell around when they graduated high school, so there's that too.

Along with the two piercings that Dominic has, he also has a few tattoos, which is kind of funny since Dominic has a deep-rooted fear of needles. Still, he wasn't assertive enough to turn down Tish when she offered, so he just endured the pain. He didn't know what he wanted to get, so he let Tish just pick a couple for him. Of course he had to sign off on them as they would be on his body permanently. The first tattoo he got was inked onto his body when Tish was just starting her tattoo shop in 2013. This first tattoo is a Harry Potter-based one.It is the symbol of the Deathly Hallows. It has the shape of a regular triangle with a vertical line going from the corner right through the center to the bottom. Rising from the bottom is a circle stroke that surrounds the line and connects with it. Around the triangle on the left side are "I solemnly swear that". That part goes from the bottom left side to the top left in a diagonal. "I am up to no good." is the same, but it goes from top right to bottom right in a diagonal line. Both parts are written in a handwriting, This tattoo is located on the back of his neck.

The second tattoo that Dominic got was as personal as personal can get. It was a tattoo he got to symbolize his love for his darling Chloe. It was a tattoo that was commissioned by his oldest - and best - friend growing up, Tish. This tattoo was a matching one he got with Chloe. Together, they arewatercolor puzzle hearts. One — Chloe's tattoo — has the paint inside, and the other — Dom's tattoo — has it exploding around it. Chloe's was done on her right wrist and Dominic's was done on his left wrist. Separate, they just look like cool, moderately-flashy tatoos, but together it's clear to anyone that it's a symbol of their love. Chloe represents the control and containment of their love. She represents the quiant aspect of it while Dominic's exploding half represents the emotional, the unconditional, the absolutely, wholeheartedly, love that they share. Separate they are incomplete, but together, like Dominic and Chloe themselves, they are whole.

The mind of Dominic Petrov Wells is a complex puzzle. There are mutiple turns, multiple levels, many ways where he could end up sweet, kind, compassionate, understanding, and just an all around sweet guy. There are times where the future husband of Chloe Jameson can appear confident in that non-threatening way, where he could appear like teh strongest man in the room just by the way he presents himself. No, not in the way where physical strength is the deciding factor. It's the way that really matters. It's the way where something in the eyes that exhibits a stern, subtle fiercosity that only those who truly know what he's about really know that it's the most attractive thing that Dom could do. It's the ways that, even though he doesn't have the most intimidating presence, the way he stands his grand more than makes up for it.

And yet, Dominic Wells has moments where all confidence is gone as soon as a Ferrari goes 0-60mph. It lays deep within his own insecurities. These insecurities are rooted back to his childhood, back to how his father was, how he was treated in school(all of them),how everything about Dominic doesn't spell most would've thought was the fiance of Chloe Jameson. These insecurities are rooted in paranoia, hesitation, over-thinking, not sure if he is worthy of her, if she might find a better husband in the arms of someone who presented themselves in a stronger way that Dominic does. It's how that Chloe deserves someone more physically-fit than he is, more consistent displays of confidence, a reassuring attitude that won't give Chloe worries or anger. It's the way how Dominic becomes his own worst enemy. It's how he always will psyche himself out. It doesn't matter how many people say otherwise, once Dominic gets inside his own mind, once he starts to think about something in such a way that often puts him in a less-than flattering light, Dominic can't stop but think about the outrageous possible scenarios, and psyche himself out. He can't control how he has a slight paranoid mindset and over-thinks a lot of things that he really shouldn't.

Existing somewhere between those two areas within Dominic's personality, there is another; less subtle and less co-dependent. It is a middle ground that has often been noted the place where Dominic has the most leeway of all sides to him. Build with layers of unpredictability and wackiness, this particular area is where the goofball in Dominic resides. In a land full of pranks and odd dosesof laughter, this is the area that was geographically formed during his college years. Well into his relationship with his Chloe, this side emerged. It brought him out, and Dominic found different sides of him. He found a love for conversation, wacky parties, illogical attire choices, and pretty much became open to indulge into anything silly, whimsical, and any combination of the two. This is where Dominic truly came out. Through all intents and purposes, this land, if made into a movie, would probably be a Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp starring as Dominic.

Often noted by several people, they have said that Dominic's mannerisms were always polite. Eyes are always up front, never do they drift from where they should be. Odd, probably, but the thing about Dominic is that he likes to make a good first impression. Even though there have been some contradictions about him, like how he has confidence but has insecurities that make him lack his confidence in himself, he still likes to at least try to make sure that he meets the eyes of whomever he's trying to impress. It doesn't matter if it's a potential employer, his future in-laws, or whatever. There will always be maximum effort from his part to at least make sure the impression made of Dominic is at least one that could be considered favorable. Even if somehow screws it up, Dominic wants to at least try his best. If he does that, then he would consider it a success.

Dominic Petrov Wells was born on June 25th, 1992. His father, Conrad Tobias Wells, co-founder and co-owner of the Wells-Smith Law Firm, and his mother, Yesenia Constance Ramos-Wells, the Head of Public Relations of Wells-Smith Law Firm. Together they would raise their sons in their four bedroom Miami house in the suburbs, about twenty minutes away from the beach region of Miami.

The years that followed were as bare as they could get. Dominic grew up in a nice, post house with a brother, a mother, a not-so-present father, and a few nannies that came over the years. Due to their jobs, Jean was the one who mainly looked after Dominic. Of course, there were nannies here and there, but Yesenia did do most of the raising. She tried to make sure that she raised them, showed them what the love of a mother could do. She made sure to give them all the unconditional love that she could. While attending elementary school, Dominic met an unlikely friend by the name of Patricia Webber. She was odd. He was shy. Somehow they seemed to form some kind of friendship that would carry on for the years to come.

Eventually, as both Wells children grew into their late childhood, it was revealed that Yesenia was pregnant. It was a girl. The rave in the Wells household was quite high, especially with the fact that Yesenia was finally getting a daughter. Her parents were all about making the occasion as stress-free as it could be. All of the classes that she had to go to were taken care of by her mother and father, and pretty much everything that she needed, was more or less taken care of by her family. that whole year was pretty much stress-free for Yesenia - well, aside form the fact that her husband was always being difficult. His usual words weren’t helping anyone, and most believed that he knew that. In fact, some among Yesenia’s family thought he was just doing it to spite her, to spite her family, to spite their children, and to spite anyone who would have been present during his constant ramblings.

Aaahh, whatever, not like Yesenia would let it bother her. She’s such a Cuban woman. It didn’t matter. Once she got into her last trimester, no one was going to say anything, especially Conrad. And especially when she was going into birth. That was a scary time. Dominic doesn’t recall it that well. He only knows of what Jean has hinted to him over the years and that the birth of their sister, Anastasia Iris Ramos — who was born on December 23rd, 1998 — was a dark time for the Wells family. Apparently Conrad became the most obedient husband for the first week. Dominic couldn’t believe it, but apparently anything was possible.
And thus the years continued on. Dominic and Jean started to become men. Only two years apart they were, so they generally went to the same schools up until Dominic was in seventh grade(Anastasia at the time was just starting first). Dominic was bound to be in the same high school as his big brother by the time he was a Freshman(9th grade). At the time, Jean would have been a Junior(11th grade). And by that time, Anastasia would have been in third grade. Still very young.

High school was rough for Dominic, and his home life didn’t make it any easier. If it wasn’t bad enough that the kids at school were making fun of him, he was hearing whispers that his father might be cheating on his mother. You could imagine that this made Dominic angry, but he couldn’t do nothing about it since he didn’t have any concrete proof. It wouldn’t become known until a year later when Yesenia would confirm it one day. Apparently he had been cheating on her with his partner’s fresh-out-of-high-school daughter. Her name was Alison something something. Dominic really didn’t pay attention to her name. He honestly couldn’t stand the woman. She had broken up his family by seducing his father -or maybe he seduced her. Dominic wouldn’t know nor did he care. That put a sour note on his thoughts of his father. Safe to say that not long after all that went down, Yesenia put a speeding halt on the marriage, and filed for divorce. Of course, Dominic, Jean, and Anastasia were all behind her. The divorce wasn’t finally settled until three years later, by which time a lot happened to Dominic.

In those three years, Dominic had surprisingly hit it off with someone unexpected. Her name was Chloe Elizabeth Desiree Jameson. They were paired as partners for the first US History assignment of the year. Of anyone that Dominic would end up with, he never expected it would be the Head Cheerleader of Miami Beach High School. She was beautiful, smart, sociable, liked by all, loved by more, and even envied by an equal amount. Every girl wanted to be her, and every guy that Dominic knew of wanted to be with her. It didn’t make any sense for them to be together, and yet, by new years, they had shared a kiss; a kiss that Dominic initiated. It was so strange. Complete opposites they were, but somehow they fit together so perfectly.

When asked about Chloe and how such an awesome woman could be with someone like him, Dominic usually shrugged. He didn’t know why either, but there was a part of him that always wondered why. He never stood out as the kind of guy that would be liked by the kind of girls that Chloe seemed to be like. She was pretty and he was average; she was sociable and he wasn’t. Everything about them couldn’t anymore opposite from each other, yet it worked. It more than worked out. If you look at how many dates they shared, including most dances of both their Junior and Senior years, including proms of both years, they obviously had something between them. Most of his insecurities would be gone by their Senior Prom as he saw her in that red prom dress that made him melt a little. Stupid he was for having those insecurities and stupid he was for thinking that she wouldn’t want to be with him. She stayed after getting to know his father and his new wife. If she could stick around after that, then maybe she was the one after all.

And thus began their post-high school lives. With both of them going to the same college, they were bound to have time together, right? Nope. Dominic and Chloe would have to make sure they stuck to a plan of weekly dates. She had the study of Microbiology and Immunology, while Dominic kept to his strengths, and double majored in English Lit and Graphic Design. Somehow both were able to remain as close as they were in high school, especially when she got accepted into the Delta Gamma Sorority. Apparently she was a legacy member, which made Dominic fear the worst. Would she end up like her mother after all of that? Dominic didn’t want to think like that, but he couldn’t help it. As it turns out, Dominic was just being paranoid because the woman that he feel in love within high school was the same woman he graduated with.

And when they both graduated, there was such an overwhelming feeling that came over Dominic. When he saw her in her gown, when he saw how utterly happy she was, Dominic had realized something. All of his insecurities that he had, all of those doubts that she was with the wrong man, all of those thoughts that he had that she might leave him for someone better had gone away. The one thing that he knew was that he loved her; and at their party, in front of all of their friends, in front of all of their family, in front of all of those that cared deeply about them, Dominic probably surprised everyone — including himself — by getting down on one knee, holding out his mother’s grandmother’s Diamond and White gold engagement ring. The only person that knew about this was Dominic’s mother, but that was mainly because she’s his best friend right next to Tish. Of course she said yes — well, right after she stopped crying — and he slipped it on her.

When she said yes, there were cheers of happiness and support — well, except from Edith and Conrad. The former never approved of Dominic and the latter didn’t think it was anything to congratulate, not with his contempt he held for his son. Still, Dominic wouldn’t let it ruin his mood. Of course, it was much due in part that the look on Chloe’s face wouldn’t allow him to let his father ruin his big moment. Or rather, their big moment. Only a year later would they become official, because within the next 365 days, Dominic and Chloe were to bed wed, and were to be husband and wife.

They don't know the cheating Conrad Wells; they don't know the lying Conrad Wells; they don't know the abusive, demeaning Conrad Wells.They don't know the Conrad Wells that has constantly belittled his own flesh and blood; they don't know the side of Conrad Wells ruined his family for a younger, hotter girl. The general public know nothing about the real Conrad Wells.

Strong-willed, passionate, loving to a fault, and above all, the heart of the Ramos name. She might still carry Conrad's last name, but someone like he will not let him control what she does. She still has her position at the firm despite what he did. As far as she's concerned, half of the firm is hers. According to what she has hinted at, Conrad understands that. He doesn't question what she says or anything. He simply pretends that nothing happened - well at least in the work place. To Dominic, she is everything to him. A momma's boy for sure. He loves his mother, his mami. He doesn't care who knows. His mother is his everything - well, right next to Chloe, that is. If anything were to happen, he woldn't know what to do. A bonus is that she absolutely loves Chloe.

The feisty younger sister, Anastasia Iris "Ana" Ramos. Much like her mother and much like her father, Ana has a fire in her belly that could only be rivaled by the fires of hell. She says what she wants when she wants to. All that comes from her mouth is unfiltered. It doesn't matter if it's dirty, blunt, or whatever. If Ana thinks it, most likely she's going to say it. When it comes to her future sister-in-law, she adores her, but is kind of baffled that someone like her actually stuck around after finding out the crazy, hot mess that her family is, she questions Chloe's sanity. Maybe Chloe's own is just as crazy. Oh well. Her loss, perhaps.

Movie-wise, definitely Captain America: Civil War; Television Series-wise, either The Flash or Person of Interest.

Masculine with not even the faintest hint of femininity, Jean prides himself on his manly appearance. Standing at a tall 6"4, weighing in around over 220 lbs of muscle and a whole heap of chocolate goodness, his previous love for football and now rugby definitely shows in his appearance. The definition on his muscles are almost absolutely ridiculous, a six pack bordering on an eight pack. He's an absolute giant of a man, big shoulders, big arms, big chest and big legs. Some say that the only thing he's lacking is a big beard which he can't grow for the life of him. All he wanted was to braid his beard, instead he has to wait years to even grow a stubble. Does it have to be that hard? His stance and posture is one of confidence, head high and his walk is long and purposeful. Almost like he always has to go somewhere, some place to be. His back is straight and his chest is instinctively puffed out.

His eyes are first class, as Yessenia would say. "An eyes are a window to your soul" except in this case the window is made out of green diamonds, the house is made of gold and the soul is on fire. They are of the lightest green, almost bordering on white. In the torching summer sun or in the bright lights of the city, you can make out golden flecks in his eyes, shining through the lightest green. In the height of winter, his eyes turn into a very light bluish green, almost reflecting his mood in the season. No matter what however, they are always on fire. A wilful, strong soul is behind those eyes, predatory and to the wrong person, dangerous. They can be scary, ruthless and animal-like, staring at your soul like they want to tear you apart. To the right person, they are warm. Golden almost always. They give comfort, their confidence in themselves and in you is like a constant warm hug. They exude an underlying sense of wanderlust and adventure but have a loneliness to them. If you look hard enough, you will see a cold blue in them. A sadness. A crazed look. One of depression, of loneliness... and of forgetfulness?

He has a sturdy, rock solid jaw and thick eyebrows, he has a lot going for him. Jean has a faint scar on the upper right of his bottom lip from when he busted it in a tackle. Two scars, one deep and one shallow, right next to the kidneys from when he was still in Cote D'ivoire, slash marks from a territorial fight of old. Another scar appears across the side of the neck, just stopping before the throat. This and many other scars bore his body, one scar right under his ear from a man trying to tackle him, another crossed against his knee caps. Each one tells an adventure, a story.

His tattoos mark his history, every game, every fight, every tackle, every try... His tattoos speak a tale, 28 years long, continuing until the day he dies. Some may say it's obsessive but he believes in stories and that the skin is the best canvas to tell them on. However, there are three significant tattoos. His first ever tattoo is one he wears with pride, the wings of an angel displayed proudly on his upper torso with the word "Béni" on it, the French word for "blessed". He isn't a religious nut but he is a miracle believer and that faith chose him to be lucky enough to survive the damn ghetto and find a loving, albeit broken, family in a new country.

His next tattoo actually runs from both of his arms to his upper back. A serpent-like, thorny vine winding up his arms in a double helix around them, blood drawn from each thorn. The two pairs of vines go around behind the shoulder and splits to form a rectangle spanning form both shoulder blades. Etched in the middle are the words "lla loyauté, honneur, le respect". Loyalty, honour, respect. The three core values that he believes in. Every thorn prickling the skin is a sign of every struggle he had to go through to get where he is, each thorn weighing him down. Each vine represents his four fears. Black to represent failure, paired with a yellow vine to represent anxiety. On his left arm, a red vine to represent breakdowns and a blue vine to represent emotions. Each one he fears, each one he hates. Three are concepts and one is linked to them so therefore, in his eyes, they are unacceptable to be defeated by.

The third tattoo is of a heart. Not as manly as the others and he actively tries to hide it but it is placed right under his first tattoo, on the right hand side. A heart trapped in a cage, ball and chain, alone. This was latest tattoo he's been given and the one most relevant to his situation. The significance of all of these tattoos are only known by the artist himself, Tish. She is the only one that knows how he feels, how he expresses emotion through ink, how he has his mouth shut even though he wants to say so much, so loudly. She sees the struggle, she sees the pain and most importantly, she sees the condition. He uses these tattoos to tell his tale, to leave a message even when he is long dead. To leave at least a small mark on the world despite his failures.

Jean is not much for taking care of himself in terms of clothing. His fashion is varied. Some may say that the snapbacks, Jordan's, Van's, graphic t-shirts and jeans labels him as "Typical Millenial". While other may say that his additional love of sweatpants, hoodies and comfort clothes may speak volumes about his personality. He carries around a signed rugby ball by a famous former All Black, Richie McCaw from when he was touring New Zealand with his coach. He kicks it around, tosses it about but never does he drop it nor let anyone touch it. To him, it is like a holy grail. But to most, no matter what he wears, the scars he bears and tattoos he shows with pride, he's just a jock.

Jean is supposedly, at least he wants to think, an image of masculinity. He is assertive, he likes getting things done on his own but appreciates when people want to help him but politely refuses. He needs to get what he wants and is confident in himself enough that he believes that he could do anything if he tried hard. Relentless in competition and approaches tasks with ruthless and brutal efficiency, he can scare weaker men with how he focuses on the field. Never say that this man isn't strong in mind and has one of the fiercest will in the world, his mother would say. This confidence in self may seem unattractive to some and his refusal to believe in defeat is both attractive and ugly at the same time. He can also seem hard headed and stubborn at times. This almost religious following of the "rules of masculinity" almost always borders on machismo. He can seem traditional and conservative in the way he acts and his personality but does it in a modern way. He treads a line between normal and excessive. But despite these faults, he is known to be respectful. To have strength, you must also respect those who have more than you.

His hate of weakness is an extension of his fear of emotions and it originates from the first six years of his life. Show toughness, show strength, show power and you will live in the ghetto. As an orphan, these were the most important qualities to have otherwise you were as good as dead. Show weakness, show emotions, show sadness of all things? You will be viewed as weak and quickly stomped out. You must have willpower. You must have this willingness in your heart to do anything and everything to survive. Put your mind in shutdown, build your walls high, lie when you can and keep your head high. Make a mask so thick you will not even recognise yourself and forget who you are, keep yourself as unrecognisable as possible to provide a mental wall from the pain. Every lie is a shield but this type of mentality does a lot to fuck you up. To a religious man, every falsehood, every red herring is just a burden to his soul but he can't seem to shake it. A limb of the mind cannot be severed so easily.

By all means, Jean isn't a religious nut. He doesn't preach in the streets, he doesn't have homophobia, he is t against contraception, gay marriage and things like that. He isn't against other religions nor the absence of one. He doesn't believe that pre-marital sex is bad, just as long you truly care for who you are making love with. "As long as I love her, why would He care?" He generally stays off the topic of religion. He has faith however. He has belief. He believes in miracles, he believes in the Ten Commandments, he believes in Him. He doesn't walk around like billboard shouting out "Y'all need Jesus!" He's politely going to church when he can. This is the only aspect of Jean that is so different from the rest. More reserved, calmer, a little more peaceful. But he does have dark places which is why he goes to church so much.

Since his birth Jean has, and always will be, lonely. No matter what anyone says, even the vows on a wedding day couldn't shake his thought of impending loneliness. This is for a number of reasons, one of which is the fact that he doesn't know who he is. However, he is certain that it isn't the confident hard ass he and his friends portray him as. Growing up an orphan and then violently being shoved into a family also creates a lot visible and invisible lines between him and the Wells. He knew that his father didn't love him, no matter what his mother said. This was all a marketing stunt, he wasn't a child of love. He was a child of money and profit. Also, the culture shock alone of transferring for a ghetto in the Ivory Coast to a happy home in America is mind numbing. He has built so many walls to restrict who he is that he feels lonely when people care for him. One lone person in this world knows him, and that's his baby brother.

Cote D'Ivoire. The Ivory Coast in West Africa. The birth place of Jean-Jacques and one of the biggest trials of his life. Some would say he was fortunate to be born in such a stable place in Africa (at least when he was born) and that he wasn't caught up in a country with civil unrest, violence and absolute chaos. The Ivory Coast has one of the largest GDP's in Africa and it is significant in trading to the landlocked countries surrounding it to provide resources. It is the former home of many civilisations before the colonial period and has a rich history and culture. As a former French colony, the main language is a form of African French and it remains close ties with both it's neighbours and the West, particularly France. It was an economic powerhouse during the '60s and '70s but experienced political and social turmoil during the '80s, all of this under the reign of Felix Houphouët-Boigny. Unfortunately for Jean, this was when he was introduced to the planet.

He was born in the large city of Abidjan, a growing urban centre for population and economy. Unfortunately, every city has a dark side and therefore dark people. His biological parents were on the lower side of the economic scale and greatly suffered because of it. Living in the vilest ghetto in town, crime sprees weren't all that uncommon and people turned a blind eye towards killings. His father was a drunkard, constantly going from bar to bar asking for more alcohol. He was never there for his wife and when he was home, he was aggressive. Violent. Crazy. His mother was French, a poor former-nun who came into the wrong city at the wrong time. During the social turmoil of the '80s, some crimes were left in the air, crimes such as rape. Victims were forced to either abort their babies or raise them. His mother was a kind woman, would never hurt a fly really. Absolutely gorgeous woman, with soft eyes and caring touch. If you were looking from afar, you wouldn't notice the ugly scar running down across her right eye and the sad, mute look that dons that beautiful woman.

If Jean could remember his first four years, it would be filled with confusing and contradicting emotions. He would remember happiness and warmth from his mother, crying over his infant body with that pretty smile of hers. He would remember the love he felt when she sung him a lullaby to keep him asleep, her angelic voice filling his near-deaf ears, piercing through the confusing sounds of the outside world. He would remember her selflessness, curling up to him when his father was it his maddest. He would remember the comfort he felt in her arms. He would never forget the love that went away as she passed, blood spilling from her throat, his father crying over her dead body, bloody knife in hand. But, alas, he was a child, a newborn at that. He would only remember the hate and fear he felt from his father.

He was never there for him, his father. He left him at an orphanage and probably died in some hole. As a small boy, being left alone meant that you had to act strong, even in an orphanage. At the age of 5, he wasn't supposed to be recruited into a local gang. He wasn't supposed to lose his childhood so soon. He wasn't supposed to feel blood on his hands, hearing someone's skull cracking as the sound of a gunshot rings in your ear, the irony taste of crimson liquid on your tongue. It was a violent life but he had a simple job. He was already pretty big by this age and could go toe-to-toe with the big kids. His job was to follow the big kids as they walk around the ghetto, establishing territory and roughing up the homeless to get on their side, vandalising homes and telling the other gangs to back off. He always held his head high, unflinching eyes staring at the weak as they cower before him. He believed in the survival of the fittest, the strong over the weak, hate over love, strife over peace.

He always assumed that he wouldn't be adopted. Why would he? He was a hood rat, a thug and he was a halfie. No one liked halfies. Everyone knew his father was a drunkard and the people of the orphanage hated him for sneaking out at night, engaging in criminal activity. So when a sweaty, puffing, sunglass wearing American barged through the door looking for a kid, he didn't think anything about it and continued sharpening his pencil in the corner. But when he heard a sweet voice call out in a strange language, kind, strong willed, passionate but also... familiar. Like a wave of relief washed over him, a small warmth trickling into his heart. His eyes softened, muscles relaxed and pain he didn't even notice was there faded away.

Jean's eyes went shut and he went cold again. Everything was shoved into a cage, taunting voices, moving shadows. But there was still a buzz, a warmth. A crack in his armour, a lullaby faint but so clear in his head. They piqued his interest and so he started walking confidently towards them. Each step became heavier and heavier, each heavy breath was a struggle. He was getting nervous, an experience that felt unnatural to him. It was strange, it was like you were not in control of your own body. He finally got to the woman, he assumed to be the man's wife, and spoke in his slang-ridden Africa French. "Who the fuck are you?" His fingers were callous, muscles taut, a man's eyes in a boy's body. Yesenia widened her eyes before she smiled sadly at the sight. Such a young boy having gone through so much, with those eyes, with that face... He would be a perfect older brother. She knelt down and pulled him into a hug, ignoring his shocked face, whispering softly in his ear "You are no longer alone." He melted.

The paperwork and the meetings were hell. The orphanage wanted to get rid of him, the arrogant pest who corrupts but they wanted to make sure that the Wells knew what they were going to do. They were going to adopt a troublemaker, one known for violence and criminality. But Yesenia took it in stride, smiling through all of the worried faces, all throughout it all, he was clutching her hand tightly. Conrad expressed concern but ultimately kept his mouth shut. It was his idea but they agreed that she would be the one to choose the child they would adopt and by this point, he was still loyal to her. They had to leave of course, to sort out more paperwork and immigration but they came back. He always happy when they visited although he only expressed it in subtle actions. Grabbing a fistful of their clothes, cold eyes turning into the warm gold, the rare hug and small "thanks".

On his sixth birthday, Jean landed on US soil and got to meet his baby brother. He poked his cheek. "Ma, he's soft. Too soft. Too fat." He poked his cheek again, feeling the boy squirm from the touching in his sleep. When has he ever been that fat? Been that loved? His golden green eyes stared back at his amused but tired mother. "Fat is good though." And kept poking his cheeks, entertaining himself before falling asleep. Dom, when he woke up, saw his new big brother and tackle hugged him, surprising the older boy. "Fuck shit! It's a midget!" he exclaimed as he was tackled to the ground. This marked the first day of a wonderful brotherhood and the expansion of a little brother's vocabulary.

Jean took care of his brother most days due to how swamped both parents were. Taking care of Dom wasn't a very hard job and this was when bonds were formed. Most would say that he was a bit too overprotective of Dom and that he should ease off on the "I am big brother, I will kill you if you hurt small brother" but everyone would agree that he did a good job. If someone wanted to hurt his little brother, Jean would hurt them back in the most vicious of ways. In a way, he was the one that was most reliant on the other, Dom's calming words when he (unfortunately) appeared to be upset always brightened his day a little bit.

Miami wasn't all that different to Abidjan. The climate didn't change nor did the sun, torching down at his back. Although the Ivorian city was never this big, a city was still a city. The people however... they were happy. They acted like they weren't, honking their horns during a traffic jam, shouting at each other on their roads. They said they hated the temperature, the pollution, the crazy cocaine addicts. Dom himself pulled a tantrum and complained that he hated the fact that his ice cream melted so fast. But they never meant it, there was no power behind it. There was no real hate, it was more of a petty hate. He's experienced real hate, the kind where you want nothing but to destroy. Murder. Kill. Wipe the person from the face of the planet as revenge is the sweetest thing in the world. These disturbing thoughts and more floated around his head as the car approached High School.

He wasn't known for academics, to be the sharpest knife in the pantry in terms of knowledge about anything. He was very average in that fact, seeing as he was far too aggressive and shut-in to learn about some bullshit calculus or atoms or any of the bullcrap. It was his dream to be a footballer and excelled in it. Although he looked like he was on the skinny side, he was known to take hits and go toe-on-toe with beefcakes at Centre while also making the last minute adjustments to the plan. Never say that he wasn't willing to adapt and not analyse the field before him. He can read opponents better than most and it showed in his quick decisions. He was almost King of the school, popular with the girls and was at the highest peak in his footballing career. He was a star and was beginning to open up to those close to him like Yesenia and Chloe.

Unfortunately, his father (it seemed like both of his father's were both complete shitheads) finally fell from grace. He lost all respect for the man ever since he proved to be so distant, leaving him to take care of Dom all the time. His final fall was when it was proven that he was cheating on Yesenia. Jean was furious and it looked like he wasn't going to take this betrayal of loyalties just sitting there. It took his whole football team, Dom and his mother herself to keep him from tearing Conrad apart. Once more, he felt angry, felt hate. He always directed it at his father and if looks could kill, he would be obliterated from the face of the Earth.

He hated it all. Moving onto college, his footballing skills came to a standstill, something changed. He couldn't even finish a semester before being kicked out of university for breaking out fights and tarnishing it's reputation. The shame was unbearable and he couldn't stand it all. He gave up football, his sport. He was picked up by a rugby coach and he thought that there could be a second chance for him, another hoorah in life. It was never going to work. Nothing was going to work. He heard the news of Dom's proposal and congratulated him, accepting the position of best man. Maybe this Vegas trip would bring some life into him, maybe it'll be the greatest trip he ever chose to be on. And maybe it'll make him break down into tears.

Ehhh, well... Movie is probably Kung Fu Panda 3 because my god was it beautiful. And TV series... TWD?

Viktor has always worn a beard. Nothing excessive or extreme, he carefully tends to his facial hair, even when he stays on his ranch and spends months without human contact. A carefully groomed man is a happy man, it was something his mentor told him, and he took it to heart. He dresses almost like you’d expect any outdoorsy type man to: Wrangler jeans, work boots that add a few inches to his already intimidating height and plain t-shirts(often tanktops or wife beaters), commonly underneath a flannel jacket. Intimidating might be an understatement: he stands at 6’8” flatfooted, and nearly crests 7’ in his boots. His skin is unmarred by tattoos, but there are always a few scratches and knicks to. His hair is traditionally cut short--if he wears it too long it just gets in the way.

Viktor’s muscles are tight and iron corded, lifting heavy boards day in and day out and just general work on his ranch has led to this, including a lack of processed, sugar and fat heavy foods that he doesn’t have access to… and a few situps and pushups before bed and after waking up every morning. His hands are also rough and calloused from years of nonstop working with them. He’s a big intimidating dude as your eyes go up his body until they get to his face.

His face is soft and there’s always a smile on it, and his eyes are inviting. He gives off an aura that makes people feel safer around him, like instead of a mountain of a man who looks like he could probably snap you in half if he really wanted to, it seems like they’re talking to a giant teddy bear. And that’s what Viktor is, really, once you get past his rough exterior.

Viktor is quiet.

At its core, his personality can be brought down to that simple statement. He’s quiet. Soft spoken; he raises his voice very rarely. He’s extremely calm and it takes a lot to upset him at all, it takes even more to anger him. There have been few times where Viktor has been angry, he doesn’t think there’s enough time on earth to waste it being angered, but certain people and actions can push him over the edge. He doesn’t like to talk unless necessary and barely ever is the initiator of a conversation. This isn’t to say that he can’t hold a conversation, more that he prefers not to. If it comes down to total silence and having a conversation, Viktor will almost always choose the peace and serenity of silence.

He’s humble, though he takes pride in what he has done. He’s not boastful, and he feels like everyone contributes in their own ways, and he can respect that. He’ll never deny compliments of fight them off by saying that his work isn’t that good--he’s very aware that he’s good at what he does, but that’s… it. He’s good at what he does; not much else, and he’s always game to listen to other people talk about their projects like they let him.

Viktor doesn’t do well in social situations. He doesn’t like to play games or really spend time with other people; he prefers the company of his dog. He gets squirmy and uncomfortable after spending more than a couple of hours in a group of people, and sometimes it stresses him out to walk down bustling, filled city streets. In spite of this, Vik carries himself with an air of confidence that makes him seem almost charismatic. He’s a likeable person, the hard part is simply squeezing past the point of him being an untalkative rock of a man.

He’s honest, at an almost blunt and brutal level. He won’t lie to anyone, tell them they look good when they don’t, or say that they did something right when they did it horribly wrong. This is a blessing and a curse: people can talk to him when they want a legitimate opinion, but on the flip side; sometimes he offends people by being too honest.

Even though Viktor makes a point of being the best person he can to be his friends--making every birthday party special in one way or another, showing up to Dom’s from most every holiday, etc., etc… Viktor is… distant. Removed. He’s not around often and he doesn’t know how to keep a constant presence. For most of his life, he couldn’t stop moving, adventuring around the continent and searching for something that could satisfy his wanderlust. He’ll be there if called, but unless his wanderings led him back to Miami, he was a shadow most of the time he was gone. He’d crop up for a day here, or a day there, and it wasn’t until the most recent couple of years that he made more of an effort to be there consistently.

Viktor’s life really took off after high school. On the day of his graduation, he told his father simply that until Dominic was treated better, they wouldn’t speak again. And to this day, Viktor has held his promise.

The same day as his graduation, Viktor left town. He took the money he’d saved up working odd jobs with terrible hours throughout his highschool career and he just kind of… left. He drove up northwest, cutting through the heart of America and all the way into Canada. He stopped just over the border, in a town called Nelson. There, he would stay, for four long years. He found himself applying everywhere, and eventually he landed an apprenticeship, something that would ultimately change his life--for the better, of course. Throughout high school, Viktor had shown a sort of knack for working with his hands, and in Canada he would find a way to monetize that knack.

Pierce Eliot was the name of the man that Viktor spent those four years training under. With his help, Viktor became a Master carpenter, and gained Journeyman level skill in three other trades. For four long years, he helped with renovations and rebuilding houses in and around Nelson, Canada, and then Pierce retired. He offered to Viktor the list of clientele that he had, and promised that he’d sing his praises to any newcomers, but Viktor smiled and declined. The wanderlust had found him again, and he wanted to leave.

And so he did, this time driving back south into the states. For a brief moment, the older man appeared back in Miami, meeting with his brother for his high school graduation. He shared that moment with Dominic, and Dominic’s friends, and then he was gone again. This time he wanted to check out the west coast, traveling through the southern part of the United States. His end goal was ultimately the state of Washington, but he found himself wanting to drive along the coast, taking the long way. In New Mexico, he stopped for a moment, and adopted a puppy, whom he named Nicholas. Now with a new traveling companion, Viktor drove without anymore interruptions, and at the crest of his 23rd birthday, he landed in Olympia, Washington. Like most cities so near the coast, Olympia had its roots in the fishing trade, but this wasn’t where Viktor found his calling--in fact, he didn’t truly trust boats. Instead, he applied to a few different landscaping companies: he’d always wanted to operate heavy machinery.

In time, his applications were answered, and he spent a few months working with a landscaping company and learning to operate excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and countless other machines. But in time, Viktor felt himself getting the itch again--operating the machines didn’t resonate with him as well as he’d thought it would. He quit his job and spent two months chasing a new dream: heavy trucking. Something where he could travel and still get paid, never having to stay in the same place… it sounded wonderful. So he spent time getting his Commercial Driver’s License--Class A, of course. After that, he got all the endorsements, ensuring that he could haul hazardous materials, and anything else that might be requested of him. After two months of ceaseless study and practice, he’d obtained everything and he was quickly swooped up by a trucking company, almost 24 years old. With a smile on his face and Nicholas in the cab, he jumped into this new profession, hauling freight across the country and in some cases to Mexico and Canada. This included a brief, but nonetheless one of the most heartwrenching moments in his life: a stop in Nelson celebrating the life of Pierce Eliot, who passed away from cancer--something he’d kept hidden from his apprentice all the while.

After this moment, now 24 years old, Viktor felt something he’d never thought he’d feel: he wanted to stop moving. Wanted to settle down and establish a life for himself. The dream of seeing the world never seemed more distant than when he was carrying the coffin, acting as a pallbearer. So, Viktor abandoned it. He quit his job as a truck driver and planted himself firmly in the bay area of California, where he quickly obtained his contractor’s licensing, planning on putting the teachings of the late Pierce to work.

He found a job with a contracting company, and he started at the bottom. He toiled and worked hard, but it paid off in the end. By two years he was wildly respected, trusted, and considered one of the hardest workers in the company. Now paid well, and given his own jobs to look after, Viktor felt like he’d accomplished something, but he was finding himself feeling something new: tiredness. 26 years old and with a near decade of never stopping behind him, Viktor was tired. Still, he worked hard, and when a company was looking for a bid from a contracting company to build several megastructures in the bay area, perhaps even expanding into the rest of California, the bosses sent Viktor to handle it.

And he did. He presented the fairest, most honest presentation he could to the executives of the company, and while the company would end up paying hundreds of millions of dollars in the contract, everything would be done right--after looking at some of the bids from the other companies, Viktor could see some corners that were cut, and pointed them out to the execs. It took three months of some of the most exhausting interactions he’d ever experienced, but ultimately: he got the call. The bid was made, and it was theirs.

A party was put together to celebrate the victory, and to the Viktor went the spoils. Viktor met with the CEO of his company, and shook his hand, and was given a huge bonus of five hundred thousand dollars and promised anything he could dream of. Viktor had one request: he wanted time off, paid or not he didn’t care, but he wanted to take a sabbatical, wanted as much time as he needed to charge his batteries. The CEO agreed, and Viktor took his money and nearly ran.

He went to Idaho, where he took his bonus and purchased an old farmland, roughly two hundred acres of it--for an insanely cheap price, and then he set about his next job: building a home for himself. It took him almost a year of working fourteen hours a day, but he finished it up. He hadn’t needed to rush, after all, sleeping under the stars was marvelous! But he finished the home eventually, a two story, three bedroom, two and a half bathroom home. A lovely house, he was more than satisfied with it. Equipped with solar power, and water from the river it was built nearby, it was as modernized as he could get while maintaining an ‘off-the-grid’ type feel. He loves his home and his land, and spends his days sleeping or roaming around with Nicholas. The batteries are being recharged post haste, and paychecks still roll in from the still thankful CEO.

27 years old and with a lot of life behind him, Viktor spent most of his 27th year back and forth between his Idaho real estate and his brother’s place of residence in Miami, Nicholas always in tow. Eventually, Dominic asked Viktor to be his best man at his wedding, and Viktor was more than happy to agree, though the idea of spending time in Las Vegas makes him visibly cringe. Just a few weeks after turning 28 year old, Viktor has reluctantly left his beloved dog with a neighbor, and asked that his garden be tended to in his absence and has boarded a plane.

Look out Vegas, here he comes.
