"That sounds great," Selena said, smiling brightly, "There's a great film on at the cinema. Don't worry, I'll organise everything. It'll be perfect."
She was ecstatic right now, energy buzzing through her body from the high of the evening.
"Anyway, we should probably get to bed, unless there's anything else you need? You need to rest that shoulder after all," She said, glancing worriedly at the wound.
She didn't like seeing Sacha injured. Fabine would pay for that some day.

Sacha sighs. "If your going to keep smothering me, the date won't happen." She warns though amused at Selena's eagerness. Usually most of her group mates ignores her, or just went on patrols. It was nice having someone who seemed so...genuinely concerned for her. She shakes her head. "No, there's nothing else I need. Thank you."

"Well, good night then I guess," Selena replied, giving the girl a smile, "I'll see you in the morning."
And I have a feeling it's going to be a great day She though to herself as she headed out towards her tent, still glowing from happiness. Everything had worked out.

Sacha nods to her. "Good night Selena." She says, smiling back. She sits on her bed, yawning quietly, before pulling her bloody shirt back over her head. She then rummages through her dresser and pulls out a clean shirt. She tosses the bloody one in the corner, reminding herself to deal with it tomorrow. Damn. If I would wear any shirt on a date, it would have been that one. She thinks as she pulls the clean shirt over her head. Even though she had said she'd be going to bed, in all likelihood she would be up for several more hours.

Paisley shifted as she walked out of camp. Her ears rotated as she trotted trough the forest. A leaf was crunched ahead of her and she crouched down, sniffing the air as she did. A rabbit chewed on a flower about fifty feet away from her. Paisley sneaked up on it, shorting the distance to about twenty when the rabbit got spooked. It took off and the girl took off after it. She chased it through the forest, gaining on it bit by bit, and when she was in range, she leaped on it and brought her jaws to its neck. It struggled for a second but her strong jaws snapped it's neck. The rabbit went limp almost immediantly.

"Nice catch," Said the scruffy looking man leaning against the tree, the shadow of unshaven stubble across his face, "Though I don't usually see shifters out this far."
He scratched his chin a little, and yawned.

Paisley looked up, the rabbit still in her jaws. She dropped the small animal and shifted. She was in a couch position and suddenly her shoulder throbbed. She hadn't noticed the pain in the thrill of the chase but now she felt it. Dang it... she thought, Way to go Paisley. She picked up the rabbit and looked at the man with curious but cautious green eyes, "This far out?" She looked around and frowned, "Neither territory huh? I didn't realize I had chased it this far."

"Yep. Most shifters try and avoid my camp," he said, pointing to the small tent a few metres away, "Probably a good idea honestly. I don't have the best reputation around here. Not after the things I've done."
He started to walk towards the tent.
"You want to stay and cook up that rabbit? The fire's warm, and I finally finished my soup," He shouted over his shoulder, before dropping to a murmur, "Fucking soup. Should have had pigeon."

Paisley blinked and a rosy blush worked it's way up her neck onto her cheeks. She had gotten that close to someone's camp and hadn't even noticed? What was wrong with her? She hadn't though she was that lost in her thoughts. She stood, the rabbit still in her hand. She looked the man over throughly, trying to get a gauge on who he was and why he didn't have a good reputation. He just looked like a guy living in the woods who hadn't shaved it quite a while. Something told her to stay away from him but she crushed that feeling and walked after him, "Yeah. That would be great. Thanks." She didn't really feel like going back to camp right now. Besides, even if he did try something, she could take him.

The man sat down next to the fire and took the pot off, sniffing what was inside it. He grunted a little. He pulled a pan out from his tent.
"You know how to skin that?" He said, pointing at the dead mammal.
He put some oil in the pan and set it over the fire, letting it heat up a little.
"You got a name?" He asked.

Paisley sat down far enough away to have time to react in case he did something. She pulled a knife out of her jacket, a smirk on her face, "Yeah. I live in the woods. I pretty much have to know." She didn't say it sarcastically; it was more of a matter of fact. She got to work and skinned it quickly. As she was working she looked up through her eyelashes, "Paisley. What about you?" She glanced down again and finished her job.

"Good. It's a useful skill," he said, spreading the oil out and fishing a spatula out from somewhere.
He stayed silent for a second.
"My name is John," He said after a while, "John Williams."
He held his hand out, waiting for the rabbit.

Paisley cut the rabbit into strips. She had heard that name before. So that's who he was. She shook her head in contemplation. He had never done anything to her so there was no need to be rude. She couldn't bring herself to be rude right now anyways. She smiled and handed the rabbit to John so he could cook it, "Nice to meet you John." She looked him over again, not out of suspicion but out of curiousity.

He quickly put the rabbit in the pan, smiling at the hiss of meat hitting the hot oil. He was handsome, in a rugged, loner sort of way, his short blonde hair messy, his blue eyes sharp. He wasn't incredibly muscled, but wasn't skinny either. The word 'lean' would pop into your mind if you saw him. And even underneath that smile, there seemed to be an air of someone who was annoyed with the world, but was probably too lazy too try and change it.

Paisley wasn't a romantic individual, but it didn't mean that she was blind. She noticed that John was actually quite attractive as she observed him. She sighed and stitched her focus away from his looks. She shouldn't even be thinking of anything like that about John Williams. He was famous. But it wasn't because of good works. He was a killer, though he had been quiet since she had joined the Broms. There was awkward silence as she listened to the rabbit cook.

John didn't even notice her glances, just happy to have company for once. Even though he was used to it, he still didn't enjoy loneliness. It was nice to talk to and eat with another person every now and then. After a few minutes, the rabbit was cooked. John took the pan off the fire and nodded to the tent.
"There's a few plates in there," he said, "Go and grab a few."
He wondered if this person knee what he had done in the past.

Paisley looked towards the tent, her mouth quirking up in an amused smirk, "It isn't booby trapped is it?" Her voice had regained some of its teasing spirit. She stood up and dusted the grass off her backside. She headed I've to the tent but waited for a second, "Where are they in the tent?"

"I'm used to shifty types around here," She nods, still grasping her knife defensively. Nadia eyes Marik curiously. "So, shifter, yes? You apart of one of those groups?" Her gaze drifts to his scythe and she narrows her eyes.

"Correct." Marik replies in answer to her question, walking further out and examining where she had been skinning the rabbit for a moment. He flicks his eyes back to her. "So you've come across us already then... And what do you think? Consider joining a side?" It certainly would be unwise if he were to attack a future group mate, but he was nonetheless curious as to how she'd respond. It had been a long time since he'd last fought a new opponent.

Sacha walks out of her tent the next morning, stretching. Her shoulder was a little stiff, but didn't hurt as much. She looks around the camp for any sign of life, before rolling her eyes. "You would think you people would know better than to sleep in. " she says loudly before going over to the food pile. She pulls out a small bird and sighs. "And would take care of our food so it doesn't spoil!" She huff and sits at a fire, beginning to pluck the wings out.

John laughed a little at the booby trap comment.
"They're in a pocket on the side," He said, "Next to the folder."
He set the pan down on the ground and let out a content sigh, looking forward to the meal.
"This definitely beats soup."

Paisley entered the tent cauiously, not totally convinced that it wasn't rigged. The tent was slightly messy, but so was her tent back at camp. She didn't spend too long looking around (because that was technically snooping) and found the plates easily. She withdrew two plates from the pocket and exited the tent. Paisley sat back down beside the fire and handed a plate to John, "You didn't burn it while I was away did you?" She smiled slightly, her eyes teasing.
