Appearance: In her work uniform, apparently
Personality:
Shy and skittish around others, Ushio tends to keep herself quiet and hidden from her classmates, and rarely speaks, even when spoken to. Believing herself to be weak and useless, contributed to with bullying in her younger years, Ushio prefers to just keep out of everyone's way and give them no trouble. Of course, deep in her heart, Ushio wishes she were more outgoing, but there's no way she could ever muster the courage to manage that...
Hence why she dons a blue domino mask, donning her secret identity 'Rumbling Earth Maestro'. Believing herself to be completely unrecognisable with just a tiny mask, Ushio gains the strength necessary to not only become an outspoken, even theatrical individual. She also becomes quite the confident fighter with a surprising amount of skill for someone of her small stature and reluctant personality. One day, she hopes the mask won't be necessary, but until then... she can at least have a little fun with her completely concealed identity!
Skills:
Ushio is rather good at housekeeping; serviceable cook, great at cleaning, and generally experienced at taking care of someone. Working as a maid certainly has its uses.
Of course, there's also her skill with the naginata. She may not be the most skilled combatant, but she certainly makes up for it with hard work and determination! Probably.
Equipment: Divine Gear Amenonuhoko, taking on the form of a naginata. The back of the blade is adorned by various gems.
Abilities:
Based on the spear of the same name, Ushio's Divine Gear is capable of reshaping the immediate area around her, mostly in the form of creating small 'islands'; she can essentially raise parts of the ground very high into the air, creating a small platform in which she, ideally, holds the advantage in melee combat, and can alter the earth even further in necessary. However, this ability requires water as 'fuel', so try not to fight her during a rainstorm.
Relatedly, Amenonuhuko's secondary ability is to drain water, which requires direct contact with the liquid in question. The weapon also has a maximum capacity, preventing her from infinitely siphoning water from oceans or something.
Brief Backstory:
A girl from a typical household, with not much to say about her homelife. Growing up however, Ushio was always rather shy, and tended to avoid playing with other children. Unfortunately, this lead to some of the meaner kids picking on her, discouraging any kind of interaction between her and other children.
This continued for quite a while, until one day, seeing that Ushio was alone, someone made a... rather strange offer for her. Well, more of a demand - become this stranger's maid and enjoy a whole ton of benefits. The very bemused Ushio, not realising this was a serious suggestion and not a game, was unable to say no, and has now spent the last few years under the employ a kind girl around her age. Slowly, Ushio built up her confidence, and wanting to better herself somehow, ended up attending Otsuki Academy with her employer, and even requested to have a Divine Gear made for herself.
Now, believing that her employer is unaware of her new weapon, and donning a mask to help deal with her shyness, Ushio hopes to better herself and become someone stronger.

... Right off the bat that's not how a Divine Gear works, eh-heh. ^^; They don't need sacrifices of anything, including blood. Sacrifice Cauldrons can, but Ritual Academies don't allow that sort of thing.

They also don't cause personality changes.

I suddenly had an idea for a Ritual Device. What about having a pact with Dionysus, God of wine and merrymaking? It's said that when he's at a celebration and dances, he frees others from negative feelings.

So I was thinking, if someone made a pact with Dionysus, he could use that power to 'power up' those around him. He's sort of like a support-type character. Of course, he needs to be celebrating and/or drinking any form of alcohol.

What do you guys think?

@Polaris North It's an interesting concept. I've seen something like that before, never really seen it being used though. Like characters are made but its impact on the Rp are always non-existent to me.

@Polaris North it's a good idea though. Him being faculty changes my opinion a bit. I like the idea a lot more now. 

EDIT: Also Vita, if you can hold off on grading my character: Sei that'd be awesome. I wanna rework him a bit, I got a couple of expanded ideas for him. More over, I'm contemplating changing his Divine Gear and If I do, that'd mean a complete overhaul.

@Renny: I'll wait and see what you do, then.

@Polaris North: Hmmm. Keep in mind, Ritual Devices are generally more flexible, so strict conditions aren't necessary unless you think it's appropriate.

On another note, um... Keep in mind that there's Ritual Technology Academies all over the world. Parents from different countries don't have to send their children to Otsuki. It makes sense for the majority to be Japanese.

... I feel like people want to use their Japanese characters for my RPs that take place like anywhere else, and their others for my RPs where it makes sense to be primarily Japanese characters. ^^;

The first scene I saw in my head when I thought about it was... what if a horde of enemies were at the school gates and the people at Otsuki had to fight them? The character would whip up multiple speakers (courtesy of Dionysus) or something and then blast pumped up music (along with the blessings of Dionysus) to support them. And when he drinks, he gains a power up.

I had a weird afternoon.

@VitaVitaAR So I finished the revised Seiichi, now Jian-Yu Sun. I'm prepared for grading. I was going to just edit in the last character post but I felt like this would be easier for you. 

Student:

Name: Sun Jian-Yu
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jian-Yu walks shoulder to shoulder among the average person. His stature is typical, at about 5’7” he’s neither imposing or noticeable. However, his rich green eyes deceive his timidity at times. His heritage… his blood defying his perceived nature.
Personality: Firstly, one should know that Jian-Yu was an orphan. He fought for survival for several months before being found and placed into government care. This brought about a kind of feracity when it came time to be screened for adoption. When he was finally chosen, it was a surprise that a former general had taken interest. His feracity would prove to be a requirement for the man due to his intensive regimen. The regularly timid Jian-Yu was not berated outwardly though he could sense his father shied away from the condition. So in compensation, Jian-Yu would work hard during training and when enrolled into a Ritual Tech Academy was a furious competitor. That was until he nearly killed someone out of anger. That sorrowful moment sent Jian-Yu into a depression, suicide almost. After months of unsuccessfully attempting to coax his beloved son out of it, his father came to the end of his rope. The illustrious Academia he attended and his father made dealings to exchange him to a lesser school. Otsuki Academy was not the intended place but it would have to do. Now he, shamelessly wallows. An unrelenting gloom over his incident continuously prodding at his abilities. However, he has bouts of empathetic sensory. Whenever endangered or looked down upon, he rebels. Its as simple as that and it runs in his blood; a stream of diluted yet always present tendencies that leans towards a thuggish demeanor.
Skills: Jian-Yu is the only protege of his adoptive father’s martial arts. Quite accomplished at it, his flexible kicks and open-palm strikes can deal heavy damage to anyone. This coupled with his masterful use of a staff can be compared to a beauteous, graceful dance. He is also disciplined and very physically well off. When it comes to literature he excels and while mathematically impaired, its due to a physical condition, perhaps phycological, that induces headaches when trying to work through an arguably complicated problem.
Equipment: Divine Gear: Innocent Ryui Bang. A mysterious memento and replica of the greatly admired Ryui Bang. Jian-Yu has had it ever since he could remember, wrapped and tied to a woven bracelet. He assumes it was left to him by unknown parents.
Abilities: Jian-Yu tends to take on a unnatural appearance when using Ryui Bang. Innocent Ryui Bang is a steel rod devoid of colour; a trio of golden bands, each embedded with light engines are wrapped around its form near the middle.  A plethora of natural abilities are granted. A significant boost in physical strength. The ability to crush stone, dent steel, and move the length of five feet in a single second is all that Jian-Yu has been capable of jotting down without equipment. Along with these abilities comes Innocent Ryui Bang itself, which can shrink, grow, and expand. When not in use, Jian-Yu conceals it as small pendant dangling from his bracelet.
Brief Backstory: Jian-Yu is the adopted son of a Chinese military general. Through an exchange program he was granted Japanese citizenship and transferred from his original Academia to Otsuki. He was raised  by his father, who was an adept practitioner of several martial arts. The Sun man has passed down his artform to his son. It was Otsuki Academy’s drive that had them outsource for Jian-Yu. And Jian-Yu’s fear that drug him to the shamed Otsuki Academy.

Um, you can't just have the artifact. It has to be made into a Divine Gear.

Most artifacts, even if kept in good condition, fade in power due to a lack of use. This is why the need to be upgraded into Divine Gear.

... Also I'd like to remind people that having the true artifact is VERY rare.
