The barbarian tribes were mentioned more as a footnote to further elaborate on the world. They are not quite fully fleshed out, but what I've created so far is a race of savage, bloodthirsty, wild people. Not typically the type you invite over for dinner. Perhaps in another game set in this same universe we will further explore them, but they are very very far off, well past the borders of the Star Kingdom and not really a threat to anyone in it yet.

If you would like to explore the barbarian tribes, and maybe do some of your own world building on them I can make another suggestion. Perhaps you are a traveling mercenary or scholar, that has ventured into the far northern lands to study these people or been hired by forces outside the Star Kingdom to fight them?

So based on the research I've done, which I admit isn't very extensive and just a very broad surface level, Princes are a pretty high noble title. Usually this is given to the son(s) of the king. Sometimes this isn't the case, and that's pretty much were I stopped reading because all of the politics of Medieval Europe are very confusing. Anyway, fact is that the current king, Osfirth II, has no kids. So being a prince wouldn't work out to well, however there are many other high ranking noble classes that exist. See the last hider I made for a link to a page about the ranks of nobility, it will be able to help you out I think.

Other than that, just keep in mind that the life of a noble is pretty much like playing King of the Hill. You are always squabbling with all the others to try and out do them in the eyes of the King and gain more prestige, land, and power. Other than that though you have a great deal of freedom to write out your character.

In an bit of inspiration from another RP that I am in, I am going to add something to the CS that I would like those who have already sent me their sheets (@Rockerman403, @SheriffLlama, @void liege, and @SomewhatAverage) to add, as well as the rest of you still creating to include. This will allow me to get a better feeling for your roleplaying style, as well as allow you to expand on a certain aspect of the sheet that I have noticed needs a bit more emphasis.

The section will be you actually roleplaying out how your character heard about the request from the Employer. You can even go as far as to elaborate on the travels of your character on their way to Roses if you choose to do so, but it is not required. Be as creative as you like. It can be anything from a casual conversation over a tankard of ale, to eavesdropping on a pair of gossiping townsfolk, or even receiving a letter or being approached by someone if your character is sufficiently famous or noticeably skilled in certain areas.

EDIT: This also means that including the same information in your history is no longer necessary, but if you want to keep it there that is completely fine as well.

Just a note to everyone, I am going through a move in living situation so I will most likely be unavailable for possibly a week unless I find a way to have internet access. Please continue to work on your sheets, and I will make every effort to get around to reviewing them and offering my suggestions concerning your characters.

I have been very happy with everything you all have created so far, as well as all of you being so receptive to the suggestions that I give you. You all have already built this into something more than it was when I first came up with the idea. Thank you for all of your hard work and creative interest. I am looking forward to kicking this off even more than I already was.

By my count I am only waiting on three more sheets to be completed and sent to me for review. I would like to start this shortly after I get done moving, so probably about a week or less time. With that being said if there is anyone who stumbles across this and still would like to make a character I just ask that you do it as quickly as you can, or at least bring it up to me so I can hold the starting time.

No problem, you still have plenty of time. I can still hold off the start if more people show up, but after the game begins I will have to close it due to the fact that it will be awkward and complicated to introduce new characters once the adventure starts.

Okay I've received a few more sheets and my flight will finally leave tomorrow after being pushed back several times. Also I just like to post here every few days to let you guys know this is all still going and I haven't forgotten about any of you!

I hope I haven't lost interest from anyone from the length of time it's taken to get off the ground. I would like to start this next week, as early as possible, so if you are still writing or making adjustments please try to get it done this weekend so I can start off next week with an IC!
