Jackson Hunt

Location: Control Room
Interacting With: Harold @Beefydork Jessica @FacePunch
Mood: Calm -> Enraged -> Embarrassed

Jack couldn't help but smile at Harold and Jessica's comments. He knew that stopping time was unfair, and it was probably a bad habit otherwise to depend on it. Sometimes it surprised him how much you could learn from others. Still, he responded to them both with a grin, "Yeah, it is a pretty cheap tactic, but fighting fair is just so boring, you know?" He kept his seat as he watched the other two finish their fights. Well, I can only imagine it takes guts to take a sword to the head or dodge freaking lasers! They both seemed like they had been training their whole life; Jack couldn't help but be impressed. "Wow! You two are, like, masters or something. I could use some training from people like you." He only had some basic martial arts training that he had taken when he first came to Mayweather, but it was clear that students were expected to focus on using their powers, an unfortunate setup for a kid like him with no combat abilities. Still, he was determined to find a way to utilize his powers in as many ways as possible. Deciding that he had recovered enough to go another round, he headed towards another of the AI's to begin another round.

He approached one of the machines, which he still was in awe of, and set its difficulty level. Eh, I'm not too sure I can trust myself with red. With that said, he set the AI's level to orange while listening to Harold's question. "So, have any other plans for today?" Now that was a question that Jack needed to think about. These two made good company, but no matter who was in the control room, he had no desire to stay in here all day. He decided that the best idea was to keep his options open so that he had a chance to either stay at home or go out, depending on how he felt afterwards. "Well, coming here to train was really the only plan that I had made today. I suppose I could actually, you know, do something, but I'm not sure." He knew that it sounded like he was being divisive, but... well, that was precisely what he was being. Oh well. He got into a fighting stance and prepared to fight the AI, which had just finished reassembling. He noticed that it had an impressive arsenal, not quite as threatening as that of the red level AI's, but it still had a small plasma cannon attached to its right wrist. Definitely not a force to be reckoned with. "Alright, let's get this party started," Jack muttered to himself as man and machine prepared for round two.

The bot certainly took the offensive, coming in with a straight left jab to the face. This time, however, instead of stopping time, he slowed its passing until it crawled like a turtle in quicksand. Like a mammoth in a tar pit. Like a... car... without fuel. What? Metaphors are hard. Putting aside terrible uses of figurative language, he dodged the punch with relative ease as its speed was effectively cut in half. He knew that while time was stopped, any hits he delivered would be delivered with more velocity and, thus, more damage, so he hit the machine with a right hook. He appreciated the fact that it's exterior didn't feel too much like metal as its head was knocked back by his closed fist. As time returned to its natural flow, the AI stumbled back before apparently remembering the plasma cannon on its wrist. Damn, I was hoping it'd just forget about stuff like that. Nevertheless, it made haste in aiming its wrist cannon towards Jack, who, ironically, didn't even have the time to stop time. Instead, he rolled to the side to narrowly avoid the burn of the ammo. It was easy to forget that it wasn't shooting real plasma; that would just be dangerous. As he got to his feet, he turned to face the machine with a new determination on its face.

Which was briefly met with a metal fist.

"W...what?" Jack turned to face a mirror hanging on the wall. Sure enough, a print was forming on his face. He'd probably have a black eye for the next few days. For some reason, the thought brought an unexplainable rage with it. Stupid machine! You think you can show me up? Think again. He moved towards the machine, which was charging another shot from its plasma cannon. He knew it would never get the chance as he approached. As it prepared to launch a blast of plasma, Jack delivered an uppercut to the gut, quickly following it with a jab to the head. He felt as though time had slowed somewhat, but at this point, he was just running on full adrenaline. He followed his attack up with a strong kick to the kneecap, forcing the AI down to one knee. This was swiftly followed with him grabbing it by the neck and slamming him to the ground. It attempted to counter with a jab to the face, which Jack easily dodged as he pinned it to the ground. Finally being in a position of advantage, he showed that damn machine who was boss and delivered a strong left jab to the face. And another. And another. And another. And ano-

Enough. His own voice crossed through his thoughts like the voice of reason. Looking down at the bot, he realized that it had deactivated at least a few punches ago. "What the hell was that?" Jack muttered to himself. It wasn't like he had never taken a hit in the control room before. This was different, like he had lost himself once he got punched. He looked over to the mirror once again, as if it hadn't really happened, but his eye was quickly bruising. That had actually happened. He honestly couldn't tell whether Harold and Jessica had seen him; maybe he could just ignore it? "Well, that's gonna leave a mark," he said with an embarrassed laugh to the others. Even he wasn't sure whether he was talking about his eye or the AI, which was thankfully being carted away for reactivation. He went over and leaned against the wall of the control room to try and clear his head.

Location; Fountain → Eliana & McKenzie's dorm room → Harold & Avalon's dorm room → Samantha & Jessica's dorm room → ... → Lucas' dorm room
Interacting With; With each other(@Lasrever)
Mood; Pure evil → Lucky → Happy → Stressed & a little frightened → Excited
Mood; Confused → Enthusiastic → Nervous → Smug

After a few minutes stood in the hallway, Keats' phone buzzed in his pocket. The smirk on his face got wider as he read Lucas' message. So, Lucas was up for screwing with Mayweather, huh? Great! Finally, something fun would happen today. Shoving a couple of guys out of the way, he headed to the fountain where he'd been asked to meet up.

As he got to the fountain, he noticed the group of people stood there, nodding to them as he walked past. Part of him felt sorry for the poor girl that the Ice Queen and Gianna were going after, but it was her fault if she couldn't see through the pair of them. He barely even glanced at Bug as he sat down on the edge of the fountain, pulled out his phone and waited for Lucas to get there.

Lucas managed to gather himself somewhat after a few minutes. His muscles felt somewhat sore but he knew that would be over in a few minutes. Before meeting up Keats at the fountain, he first made a quick stop at his room and stood on his bed. It was just high enough to lift the ceiling plate and reveal his stash. Lucas has been a very busy villain in the last couple of weeks. He built a sort shelf attached to the real concrete ceiling. It stood between the ceiling plats and the concrete, real ceiling. So hidden from anyone who doesn’t know its real location. The shelf wasn’t big. But it had enough. Some booze, a USB stick with some plans and some tools. He just grabbed the tools, and the stick if he lacked inspiration, and then closed his ceiling hiding place off again.

He found Keats at the fountain, and smiled mischievous. Keeping tools hidden in his backpack for now. “You know what the advantage is of that nice, affordable Swedish furniture?” he asked ominous.

Keats grinned at his friend, standing up as he approached. "I mean, there's a lot of them. Flat pack, easy to assemble... You want me to make a list? 'Cause I can do that." he joked, indicating that Lucas should tell him what he was talking about. He stood up and walked a small distance away from the group at the fountain. Most of them wouldn't say anything, but they were with that powerless Mayweather girl. Keats didn't want her overhearing whatever Luke's plan was.

His smirk grew bigger. Keats was smart. He already guessed it. Sort of. He showed his friend the content of his backpack. A few screwdrivers and such. “They’re easy to assemble. And easy to disassemble. How about we teach those pricks of Mayweather that nowhere is safe from Delphina.” He closed his backpack again, and started walking towards the dorm room again, saying: “C’mon, let's go.” He then pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. One he scribbled long ago. A list of rooms with names. And next to some rooms there was an X. He handed the piece of paper to Keats, saying: “This is the list of rooms I want to hit. Got any other suggestions?”

Keats raised an eyebrow as he read over the list. There were several rooms written on it, and he didn't recognize most of them. He guessed that they were probably Mayweathers, though. One room in particular stood out, so he decided to question it to Luke. "We're hitting room 3B? Isn't there a Delphina in there, if I'm remembering right?" not that he had a problem with hitting as many rooms as they could, but they normally stuck by their fellow Delphinas.

And sometimes, his friend was a little too clever. He noticed the one shared dorm. Crap. Well, he could say that he has been having some problems with McKenzie. But that would bite him in the ass again. McKenzie and he were on OK-ground for now. And she looked like a fun girl, a prankster. He could definitely use her help in the future. So he wouldn’t want to antagonize her. Surely she would get that dismantling her bed was all just a good prank. And he’d make sure that they only hit Eliana’s closet. He remembers several of her outfits. It wouldn’t be hard to find the right one.

“Well, euhm, the other girl in there. She sort of has a vice on me. You know the kind. She hates me but she has to be around me. I just wanted to make very sure I have zero interest in her.” He lied. Something he was usually very gifted in. But not against his friends. Then again, telling the truth: that he got floored by the girl, twice now, would be far worse than the awkward lie.

Keats wasn't completely convinced by Lucas' explanation, but decided not to press it any further. He laughed it off, patting his friend on the back. "Well, I don't think you'll have to worry about that much longer." he started walking towards the East dorm, pausing for Luke to catch up with him. "So, we gonna ruin some Mayweathers' days or not? Time's wasting, right?"

At the end of the day, if Lucas didn't want to tell him, then he didn't have to. Keats trusted him, and besides he'd have to be crazy to throw away such a good opportunity to mess with so many Mayweathers.

They reached their first room. Eliana’s room. Though he’d have to refrain from using that name. “Keep an eye out.” He said, not wanting to get caught by anyone. After a quick glance left and right He summoned up his solar force and slammed the lock. There was an audible 'crack' and the door slowly opened up. “Welcome, Keats, to our first victim’s room.” Lucas said, with a big smile, as he walked in. One-half of the room caught his attention. It was so damn clean. Lucas’ room was a mess. With piles of clothes and other stuff. But this room, this room was far too clean. “Let’s keep it to the very clean half of the room, shall we?” Lucas suggested as he started taking off the blankets and mattress off the bed.

Keats smirked as he walked up beside Lucas. "Hey, let me handle the blankets and stuff, alright? You can take the furniture." with his smile growing wider, he placed the palm of his hand on the blanket. After a second, it started to twist together until it formed a tightly knotted ball in the middle of the carpet.

Looking incredibly smug, he walked over to the closet on that side of the room, throwing it open. "Hey, Luke?" he called. "How many clothes do you think a person needs? 'Cause I don't think they need this many." oh, this was fun. Probably really petty, and there'd be someone out for Keats' blood after this, but damn was it fun! He laughed cheerfully as he started to toss the carefully folded outfits into the middle of the floor.

“Eh, 3 full outfits? Maybe 4 if you're planning on formal stuff. God these people own way too much.” He had already loosened the screws on the desk chair. But didn’t take it apart. Instead, the second someone would move a little bit too much on it, the chair would collapse. He kept the screws of course. He then walked up next to Keats, admiring the closet. “Make a nice artwork from it, would you?” he said with a grin, as he then started on the bed. The thing was taken apart rather fast, so Lucas decided to explore a little more. Towards one particular drawer. Planning to take it all apart too. He yanked it open. Seeing the content of it, he blushed, then laughed. He grabbed a handful of the fancy undergarments and showed it to Keats. “Hey man! Looks like the girl is surprisingly naughty for a Mayweather.” He was almost in tears because he had already devised a plan for it. “Do me favor, chain all this nice stuff up, so we can hang it out. God, I’d pay to see her face if she finds all that stuff hanging in their room. On display for everyone who enters.” He then turned back to the drawer, putting the pieces back into it. However, he did find something that looked even more interesting. Under the pile there was a book. He pulled it out, and observed it. It was locked, sadly. But that meant that he found something nobody was supposed to find. What kind of monster would look into this kind of drawer? Well he would. And he found it. He took a wild guess and assumed it was her journal. “Jackpot.” He whispered. He put it in his backpack, and then pulled all the drawers out. So he could start dismantling that piece of furniture too. “Keats. My man. This is the beginning of a something wonderful.”

"Will do, Luke!" he grinned, starting to tie together the clothes into a display, twisting them around into a mess of color. With a smirk, he started to manipulate them more closely, twisting them until they formed the shape he wanted, then hanging up his creation on the wall above the bed. It was a small message, reading 'Courtesy of Delphina Academy'. What could he say, he was an artist!

He laughed as Luke waved the undergarments at him. "Seems like it, huh? Someone's not such a goody-two-shoes after all!" walking over, his smile grew wider. So, Luke wanted some decorations, huh? That was something Keats could do. As Luke searched through the drawer, he went and grabbed several pieces from the drawer and started to work, hanging them up pretty much everywhere in the room. Honestly, he was pretty proud of his work here. There were even a few pieces that he'd managed to hang from the ceiling, just to give his display some extra effect.

Hearing Luke's comment, he couldn't help but grin. "Yeah, you got that right, buddy. This is gonna be the start of something great! See how those Mayweathers act all high and mighty after this, right?"

Lucas finished up. He piled all the parts in a corner. He left some screws near it. But not nearly enough of them to put it all back together. When he turned around, he saw Keats’ decoration and laughed out loud again. Nearly buckling. “Keats, you’re a creative genius.” After a quick check, he decided that it was time for the next room. He did answer on Keats’ comment: “Eh man, if anything, they’ll be even worse. No Mayweather will stop being all high and mighty. They will, however, act far more cautious around Delphina students from now on. But c’mon, let’s go. We still got several different rooms to go. The razing of rooms has just begun!” Lucas got out of the room, and waited until Keats got out of it too. He then took a quick picture of the result. Gianna would be proud of him. “Okay, let’s go. Next up...” Lucas began to say, as he grabbed his paper again. "Avalon and Harold's. Let's go."

Oh, this just got better and better. Of all the people that they could mess with, those two were right at the top of the list as far as Keats was concerned. He glanced at the list. "Looks like their room's real close, huh? Can't wait!" he grinned. "If there's two people who need a kick up the ass from Delphina, it's them."

Walking down the hallway, he knocked on the door with a smirk. "Hey, looks like no-one's in! Fancy that, huh? What a shame!" he called, sarcastically, waiting for Luke to come and break the door down. It was time for a repeat of their last performance, as far as Keats was concerned. They had a lot of rooms to get through before people started coming back.

Lucas, again somewhat cautious, looked right and left, and then broke down the door. Raiding Avalon’s closet was his main goal here now. So as he began on the bed, he told Keats: "God, Avalon must own a fortune in clothes. Don't be gentle with them, Keats. I want her heart to skip a beat.” The grin on Lucas’ face showed how serious, or not serious at all, he was. While Keats did his thing, Lucas kept partially dismantling furniture. Keeping a few screws. “Tell me when you think you’re done, okay? Not too much decoration though. We got a lot of other rooms to do and we can’t do them half like the first one.”

Realising that Luke was probably right about how much time they had, Keats decided to go straight for the closet this time, quickly leaving quite an impressive heap of knotted clothes in the middle of the room. Thinking for a second, he tied a few pieces around the remains of the furniture that Luke had dismantled, just to make it extra irritating for them to sort out. After that was done, he stood up, nodding to Luke. "Yeah, I think that's me done. Not as impressive as last time, but we can't still be here when they start getting back I guess." he shrugged. At least it'd still be annoying enough to ruin their evening.

“I hope you made some really tight knots.” Lucas joked, as he closed off their second piece of art. Of course not without taking a picture. The prospect of the following room scared him a little. Mother Hurricane was not someone to fiddle with. If she was in her room, and Keats and he came knocking, she would know something was up. “Listen Keats. If you hear anything moving behind that door when you knock, you run like hell. Okay? Because I will be doing the same.”

"Yeah, I got it." Keats muttered. Lucas definitely had a point. This was the one room he could think of where both residents could probably murder him without breaking a sweat. With a nervous grin, he knocked on the door, listening for a second before repeating the action. He didn't hear anyone moving, so he nodded to Luke. "I think it's safe. Go ahead." he said, preparing to run just in case he had missed something.

Lucas took a deep breath. And walked up to the lock. “Don’t bother making art here. Raze the place. Throw the clothes around a little. When you’re done, help me with the furniture.” He said to Keats, as he handed him a screwdriver. This time, without looking, he slammed the lock and immediately entered. Getting caught in any of the other rooms would be bad. To get caught in this room would be hell. And he doubted he’d survive it. So he immediately started working on the first bed. Working faster than ever, and obviously looking stressed.

"Got it!" he muttered, rushing over to the closet and tossing out most of the clothes within a matter of seconds. It was a lot faster seeing as he wasn't bothering to tie them together this time. He ran over to the second bed, starting to dismantle it as quickly as he could. Admittedly, he wasn't doing the neatest work, but there was a lot of pressure, alright? His life was pretty much on the line here! Once he'd finished dismantling the bed, he called out to Luke. "Hey, I think that's me done, Luke! I say we go now while we still have working limbs."

Lucas was just done with his bed. Setting up the mattress against the wall. “You’re reading my mind, friend! Let’s get the hell out of here before we get a storm dumped on us.” With that, he dashed outside, admiring their swift disassembly of both the clothes and the beds. He had taken, again, half the screws of the bed he took apart. Once Keats was out, he took a final picture and carefully closed the door. “Next one! A pair of freshmen. This is going to be easy.” He grinned. But the rooms were in the other wing. “Time to run mate. I don’t want to be seen anywhere near this wing today.”

And so Keats and Lucas razed 4 more rooms. The freshmen rooms ended up being far more poetic. Courtesy from Keats’ evil sense of art. The bed parts were piled in a very orderly fashion. Unlike the previous rooms. Where they were just thrown into a pile. But again, he took half the screws. Grinning like a hyena every time they finished up a room. He kept a picture of every room on his phone. And when he was done, he went over the pictures and his memories. Settling on the fact that Eliana’s room, despite only having been razed half, was the most beautiful piece of art. He wished he could see her reaction when she found her underwear on display.

Minako Ikeda

Location; Fountain
Interacting with; Gianna Daniels @lovely complex, Brenna Lancaster @smarty0114
Mood;Embarrassed - Scared - Aroused - Nervous

Minako jumped slightly when the other girl snarled at her, which was enough to startle her out of her mental loop. She hadn't even moved in yet, and she was already making a mess of things. Worst of all, if the expression on the first girl's face was any indication, her reaction to the connection had not been a pleasant one.

In fact, the more she looked at her, the more Minako was certain that her reaction was unusually strong, especially when she told her friends to leave. Oh, this isn't good, this isn't good! What happened to her? I should probably talk to her about it, but what if I just make it worse? What if she doesn't want to talk? An awkward silence stretched between them, which wasn't helped by the intense way in which the girl was staring at her. Such a simple thing, and yet it was making Minako flushed and nervous. Finally, if only for a lack of any other options, she spoke up. "Um, I... I need to find my room. If... if you want to talk, we could do it there." Biting her lip, she bent down and grabbed her suitcases. "I'm really very sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen. I just... I'm very sorry."

Trying to ignore the feeling of helplessness that settled over her, she hurried past the girl in what she prayed was what she remembered as the right direction. A quick glance over her shoulder told her that yes, the other girl was in fact following her. Minako wasn't sure if that made her happy or anxious, and the warmth pooling in her chest and stomach wasn't helping things in the least.

Range, dancing with untapped power.
Interacting With; Carmen @abandonedIntel. Eliana @lovely complex
Mood;Examining ←- Bold.

None were too classy for ice cream was right. Though with many a villain and hero flexing muscles at each other back at Mayweather each and every day, they had probably forgotten sugar confectionaries. Everyone was out to defend their own ego. Benny figured soon it would get fairly… divisive. When Carmen talked more about Dr. Chaos, Benny smiled about her liking the man’s company. ”A friend to you is a friend to me. Are you sure he didn’t implant a mind control bug into you though? I could check for you, you know, I’m a qualified surgeon. Or maybe I’m loony too.” Benny said as he pulled a scalpel tied to a series of red handkerchiefs resembling blood from his neck. ”Maybe the doctor wouldn’t mind dropping in sometime? It’s so hard to get out to see people with my studies going on…” Benny asked an implicit question, intending to perhaps use his power on Dr. Chaos if Carmen said he could.

Benny watched the drone in the sky instead of it’s camera on the HD video, seeing color rain down after Carmen hit incredible shot after incredible shot. She aimed exactly where she needed to, and when she turned her attention to the trees he was even more impressed. Especially by the trick with the squirrel. He was glad she didn’t needlessly blow away a furry critter and pecked it’s acorn out of it’s hands with a bullet instead. It was an unbelievable show, and Carmen would be able to take down many opponents quickly with that sort of gunplay. He felt bad for whoever was going to be her enemy in the future, they were going to take a beating. And by beating, he meant they were going to take a lot of well-aimed lead.

Benny gave a worried laugh when she mentioned taking hostages. It was one of the best ways to get at a hero, was to kidnap someone close to them… Luckily he wouldn’t make a mistake like dying if he did that. He would be sure his life was tied to that of his hostage, some sort of trap where the hero couldn’t get away with killing him and had to meet his demands. Though there were well over a thousand ways to die at the hands of the many heroes afoot, and Benny couldn’t concoct a plan to suit all of them… Or could he? Maybe that was something he should work on. But the future was far away for now, he could afford to be nearsighted. ”I’ll be careful, you know I plan to outlive you. I have to see the day they make Dorito flavored icecream, then I’ll put a s’more made of that on your grave to feed your hungry spirit. Or whatever tradition I invent. I know I’m a culturally insensitive fuck stop looking at me like that.” Benny hoped she would take that one lightly, sometimes he couldn’t tell when he was stepping on someone’s toes. Or the toes of their ancestors for that matter.

Then… Benny looked at his phone. ”Aha… Someone needs a big hug I think.” He spoke aloud, looking at Carmen briefly as he took off his hat. She probably knew what he was about to do. ”Eliana is coming over.” Benny hammered out another text.”I might shoot next time, depending on where she wants to go. What do you want to do? I think we should hit somewhere scenic and kick it. We can eat anywhere right?”

To Little El
Come see me and Carmen, we’ll cheer you up. : ) We like u existing!

With that sent Benny set his top hat upturned on the ground and held the sides expectantly. ”Only the classiest girls make an entrance from a man’s top hat.” Benny said as he winked suggestively at Carmen. Then he focused his power on the opening, turning it into a passage ripped in the fabric of spacetime. Soon someone would (hopefully comfortably) emerge from it, as he set his intent upon Eliana. A soft hum started from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at once, and a breeze ruffled the landscape, churning leaves and imitating the crackling sound of a hundred newspapers being turned at once. Sensation seemed just a touch more surreal for miles away as powerful magic started to take place… Especially surreal for one Eliana Lovelace.

Location; Avalon and Harold's Dorm -> Keats' and Will's Dorm
Interacting With; Keats @Lasrever
Mood; Happy -> Furious -> Vengeful

Avalon thought nothing could bring her good mood down, as she strutted down the path towards her dorm, shopping bags in hand, smiling all the way. It didn't help that the freshmen boys turned and stared as she passed, obviously infatuated. As much as Avalon loved clothes, she loved attention more. But as she opened her dorm room door with her one free hand, her grin feel. Her room had been torn apart, her clothes were strewn about into tightly knotted balls. She threw the bags down and let out a shriek of anger, drawing a few people out of their rooms to investigate, people who soon backed away when they saw the mess.

There was only one person who could fuck up my clothes like that she thought, scanning the mess. Keats. She'd met him only a few times, but she knew his powers well enough, and this had him written all over it. She took a breath and a moment to charge up her powers, walking over to the radio she and Harold shared. She placed her hand on it and felt as energy continuously flowed into her, until she felt like she had enough to scare the shit out of Keats. She then turned around with a hair flip and marched down to Keats' dorm with murder on her mind.

When she reached the door to Keats' and Will's room, she slammed it open, to see Keats inside. She looked him dead in the eyes and began her verbal onslaught. "You lousy skeez! I know what you did to my room you slimy little weasel! I swear to god if you don't fix it, I will shock you into the next century!" she shrieked, fury dancing in her eyes and electricity dancing across her fingertips. Avalon Middleton was not a woman to be scorned.

Location; Old East Building's Rec Room -> The Gardens
Interacting With; Eachother @HushedWhispers

Samantha had walked back through the double doors that led to the dormitory rooms. She walked up the first flight of stairs with ease and then another flight with the same ease. Samantha had the perfect smile displayed among her facial features as her phone chimed, seeing the message from Will. She held her phone close to her chest then cleared her throat while entering her room, seeing that someone had meant to dismantle her room.

While catching her breath after a gasp, Samantha didn't really have no time to clean up the mess that was mere inches away from her. She was furious but she couldn't let that show whenever she meets with Will, which was on her mind more than anything else right about now. Since her room was in a mess, she just dumped her shopping bags upon the bed then shrugged her shoulders while walking out of her room and going towards the recreational room.

It was a weird place for them to meet but Samantha didn't think nothing of it right now and she certainly hoped that Will didn't think that she was going to play football with him because she is definitely not dressed for that occasion, plus she could break a nail. While wandering outside and through the massive sea of people in her wake, she had finally made it to the recreational room then took out her phone to send Will and Avalon a text.

To: ♥♥William - Future Boo♥♥
I am here. Where are you?

To: Avalon - BFFL!
Girl. Meeting Will now. I'll give you the details later.

She sent the messages out then looked up to see if Will was close to her or not.

Will was late. He knew he was late. He'd been waiting in the rec room, when he'd realized that he was about to meet the girl of his dreams and hangout with her, all while he was wearing sweatpants. That was not going to fly. So he'd raced downstairs, to his dorm room where he promptly went through four different outfits, before finally settling on a blue flannel, paired with beige pants and black converse. That was when he got the text from Samantha, and he was forced to rush his hair process, which really only consisted of running his hands through it.

He then, raced up the stairs, mentally berating himself for being late, and found Sammie waiting for him. "Hey," he said, with a nervous wave, his voice shaking just a tad. "You look great by the way," he said, rubbing the back of his neck and doing his absolute best not to blush.

Seeing as how that was probably the longest he'd spoken to her alone, and so he was now in uncharted waters, a fact that was not lost on him. "So, I mean, what do you wanna do? I figured the rec room was a cool place to meet, but we do have a whole campus of opportunites out there," he said, grinning sheepishly, while the butterflies flew circles in his stomach.

Samantha gasped suddenly as Will came up right beside her. He had scared her slightly but then it quickly went away when he started speaking. Samantha was honestly amazed. He was speaking without stammering through his words or opening his mouth, moving it and nothing coming out at all. He was definitely charming and Samantha even loved that about him.

While her gaze met his and noticed that he tried not to blush, she looked down while hiding her own blush. "Uhm, we could go to the gardens? Samantha said in a questioned tone but knew that Will wasn't going to pass up this opportunity.

Samantha walked past him with a wink and slowly made her trek towards the gardens. "So, Will, what are your plans for tonight?" She had asked him while looking beside her to look at him now. Samantha wanted to tell him first to get his witty insight on the idea. "I ask because me and Avalon are throwing a heroes only party. What do you think that?" Samantha spoke while opening the small gate to the gardens, allowing Will to enter in before closing it back.

Will grinned and followed Samantha. She knew him well enough to know that he probably would've followed her straight into hell if she'd asked. Smiling as she asked him his plans, and told him about the party he answered quickly. "It sounds like it's just what everyone needs. The Delphinas haven't exactly been enjoyable houseguests. You should've seen what happened this morning," he said hinting at the altercation between Mark Winters and Klaus.

Deep down, he knew he wanted to tell the story so he could look like a hero, but denial was strong. To him, he thought it was just about making conversation. He was tempted to reach out and sense her emotions, see what she was feeling but he refrained. That would be wrong on so many levels, he thought, looking up at the clear sky, then back at Sammie, a smile on his face.

"I don't suppose I can thank you for this weather? It's nice, reminds me a bit of California. All sun shine and cloudless skies," he said, his blush finally receding as his comfort level rose. As far as he could tell, this was going great.

Samantha raised a curious brow up at Will when he had said something about this morning. She wanted to inquire about it honestly but just pushed the thought into the back of her mind for now as he made a comment about the weather as it caused her to look up at the sky. "No need to thank me for this one. I cannot control the weather already set in place. Like, I cannot against Mother Nature herself." Samantha explained while looking at Will. "Well, you know, if that makes any sense." She waved her hand towards him as they continued their stroll.

Samantha pressed her hand against Will's chest, stopping him with his tracks as she stood in front of him now. "Will, tell me exactly what you meant earlier about what happened this morning. Why should I have seen it?" She had inquired while raising a brow up at him. "Is it about most of the dorms being destroyed? Because if so, I need to know the names of the culprits." She was starting to get furious again and it definitely showed. A violent wind began to whip along with rumbles of thunder forming in the sky above.

Samantha had calmed down for a moment and the weather went back to normal. She gasped and folded her arms over her chest, lowering her head. "Sorry. It's just that my room was destroyed slightly and when I find out who did it, no more Ms. Nice Girl." Samantha spoke as she looked back up at Will again, still wondering and curious about what he was going to say.

Will looked shocked at Samantha's outburst, but he calmed down as she did. He'd never seen her like that, although it's not like he had suspected that she never got angry. He just hadn't been prepared. Absentmindedly touching the place on his chest where her hand had been, he answered her question. "This morning, Klaus the wannabe Hitler, was attacked by Mark Winters. You know, Jemma Watts' boyfriend. Klaus got him and his friends pretty bad before me and that pyrokinetic kid, Masterson, stepped in. His face screwed up into confusion as he thought about what she said about the dorms.

"Wait, the dorms were destroyed? That doesn't sound like Klaus. It definitely sounds like a Delphina though. What'd they do?" he inquired. His brain was going over every Delphina he could think of. Keats, Lucas, Spider Boy, Lancaster, Klaus and his gang, Elijah, the kid who could just pull things out of his clothes, Gianna, and Mitch. Out of all of them, Lucas and Keats seemed like the two who'd drop to vandalism. He couldn't see Lancaster, Klaus or Gianna going to such levels, and Elijah had made it clear that he was just here to graduate.

Samantha knew that she probably freaked out Will with that little outburst but yet, he was still beside her. When Will finally spoke about what had happened this morning, her eyes widened and she became furious again but this time no violent wind or rumbles of thunder. "Wow. What?!" Samantha was honestly surprised, shocked. Samantha had shook her head before turning heel and picking up then same steady paced trek they had before.

"Well, your information sure beats mine." Samantha muttered they finally entered the middle of the garden now. The array of colors and flowers had always amazed her and she sat down on a nearby bench, staring at them. "Well, I am not exactly sure but my clothes were just thrown around and such but nothing major. Although, I am not sure about other people's rooms." Samantha shrugged her shoulders while looking at Wil. "That face. What are you thinking about?" Samantha asked as she knew people's facial expressions from observing them.

"I'm just trying to figure out who would've done it," he said, taking a seat next to her, sitting close enough that they're legs were just brushing together. "But maybe we should just let it go, at least for now. I mean, there's going to be a kickass party tonight and, well, you know, we're here," he said with a grin, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

He smiled, looking out and around the garden. It all seemed like a movie. The colors were all so bright and the birds were singing, and the sun was shining brightly. If it was a movie, this would've been the scene where the middle aged women started crying because the perfect couple was finally together. He smiled at the thought.

"So, you graduate this year, huh? What are you gonna do, afterwards?" he asked, a curious look in his eye. He'd known what he'd wanted to do since he was five. He wanted to be a hero, save the world time and time again, become renowned across the world. But other people weren't so sure, and he understood that. Not everyone happened to have parents who hammered the hero life into them either.

Samantha nodded her head towards Will when he mentioned that he was just trying to figure out who vandalised the rooms. Samantha smiled at the nervous gesture of Will then nodded her head again. "Yes, we are here..." She reached for his hand, which was now grasped into hers as she looked up at him. "Together." She smiled again then looked away as a soft, gentle wind picked up between them. It wasn't something Samatha was doing, it was pure nature.

When Will asked what Samantha was going to do after Mayweather, she honestly had no idea. What does a homo superior with the ability to control the weather to do in the real world? With the shrugged of her shoulders, Samantha answered with a joke. "I do graduate this year but I don't know. I might become a meterologist." She laughed at her own joke like a little geek then looked at Will. "Are you going to miss me, Will?"

Samantha asked him in a teasing manner while looking at him with a slight smirk curving the corners of her lips now.

Will grinned at Sam's question. "I might. Just a little," he said with a smirk, squeezing her hand. "I wish I had the luxury of not knowing things. Ever since I was little I was training to come here and be a hero. I mean, my mom was Solara, there was no way I wasn't going to do just that, and I mean, I want to be a hero, but sometimes, I just think it would be nicer if I just didn't know what I was doing," he said, looking off into the distance.

He shook his head and chuckled a little. "Sorry, that was a bit much to just drop like that. We should stop talking about my life, because it was as boring as they come," he said, grinning. "What about you? You're from San Francisco right? What was it like growing up in a big city? he asked.

He'd always wanted to live in the city, more than anything else. The humdrum life of Willow Creek had never suited him. Everyone knew everyone, and sure, it was kind of nice, but it was so boring. Nothing happened there in the eighteen years he'd lived there, and he was confident that nothing would ever happen there, which was why he was so curious about the big city that Samantha had known.

Samantha shook her head at Will's cute response that he was going to miss her a little bit. Just a little bit. She liked Will even more now that their hands were meeting with one another. Her eyes looked at him as she felt that something wasn't right about his sudden change of voice. "William, you are who you are for a reason. And no matter what anybody else says, you are your own person and be original and not a carbon copy, okay? You're sweet, intelligent and incredibly funny, at times and anyone would be happy to have you, I am sure."

She said while raising her other hand up to caress his cheek then dropped it back down to rest at her side. "I mean nothing much happens there. No matter what you hear on television or see in the movies. San Francisco is just a pretty normal town where the luxury life is always welcomed. Much like, Beverly Hills. But my life is nothing special neither." Samantha responded with the shrug of her shoulders then let go of his while standing up.

"I think we should head back. I promised Ava I'd help her set up for the party." She wasn't in any rush though when Will stood up, she'd wrap her arms around his neck and deliver a soft kiss to his lips, breaking it while locking her gaze with his. "Feel better now?" Samantha asked while resting her hands upon his shoulders now.

Will grinned at her words of encouragement, nodding in agreement. Of course she was right, she always seemed to be right. Grinning as she talked about the supposed bore that was San Francisco he stood up with her. He figured everyone probably thought their hometown was boring.

And just when he thought their time together couldn't have gone any better, she leaned in and kissed him, gently. He smiled into it and looked into her eyes. They were nice eyes, decent eyes, the kind of eyes people write poems about. "Well, after that, how could I not," he replied with a grin, leaning in to kiss her once more before walking out of the garden with her, hand in hand. Well this has been a monumental improvement over from this morning

Grinning all the way, he walked with Samantha out of the gardens, and stopped at the center of the grounds, where the concrete trail began to diverge in multiple directions. "So, I've got to go work on some stuff in the library, but I'll see you tonight. I'm sure it'll be an awesome party," he said, grinning and squeezing her hand one last time before letting go, and heading off to the library, walking backwards for a moment so that he could wave goodbye.

Samantha chuckled as Will's comment as they walked out of the gardens now and stood right in the center of the grounds, stares and mutters all around them, too. "I'll definitely see you tonight." Samantha winked at Will as he squeezed her hand, once again before letting go and waving goodbye before heading towards the library. She had watched him leave and bit her bottom lip while letting out a soft sigh.

Once again, she pulled out her phone and sent a text towards Ava.

To: Avalon
Sorry. I know I am late but I am on my way.

She knew that Avalon was already up there setting up for the party so she'd just have to meet her up on the roof. But she was with Will, so Avalon just had to understand.

Location; Subway Firing Range?
Interacting With; Benny & Carmen (@Hippocamp @abandonedIntel)
Mood; Relaxed Really, Benny? Intrigued.
Outfit

Holding a floral etched purse mirror, Eliana used the napkins she had in her bag to clean up the spider blood and guts off her chin. She had totally forgotten about the mess that was on her face up until the boomboxing kid pointed it out. Not being on campus, anywhere near an imbecile that shared the same first name as her father, truly helped her nerves find inner peace. The next hour or two was going to be great, just her, nature, and the occasional tourists passing by. Leaning her head back on the subway window, Eliana closed her eyes and let her tired self rest for a moment or two. Her phone was in her purse, which meant she didn't feel it vibrate, especially since she was zoned out. Her mind was focused on the girl singing a modern pop song. These two definitely enjoyed their youth, something Ellie didn't quite do herself.

Her chartreuse green orbs flickered open when she felt a sensation she knew all too well. God dammit, Benny. Standing up as the train slowly went to a halt, she resisted the pull until she could get off the train - a minute? Maybe? How many times has he done this to her before? Usually it's for lunch, but now it's probably because he's genuinely concerned for her. So much for a day to herself. Placing her mirror inside her purse and putting her bag over her shoulder, she sighed to herself as she waited for the doors to slide open. When the doors swung open in front of her, she turned to the kids that made her subway ride worth the travel, "You two should consider pursuing a music career. You're fairly talented." After the compliment was given, she gave into this obscure magic as she stepped out of the train - vanishing in thin air when she touched the platform. Cue the nightmare. Good thing she could handle weird shit like this. Perks of having the power to enter people's subconscious. Yay, dream world! Yet, this time was slightly different. Perhaps, he was miles away from her, which she wouldn't doubt. Today was their first day of vacation. Surely, he would be enjoying himself.

Her head was fuzzy when she reached the destination. Ellie's mind was stunned for an instant, as she absentmindedly got herself out of this... nil space. When she was out of the hat and observing her surroundings, blinking a couple of times to comprehend where she was, everything felt so... surreal. She couldn't even think about Benny who was behind her or Carmen, who was watching the spectacle. Both her hair and skirt danced with the breeze, while her gaze watched the leaves move around her. Her mind was gradually registering the world and her body was slowly gaining feeling once more.

When she finally was able to move and speak, she immediately turned to the culprit, crossing her arms in annoyance, "You know, I'm fine." She paused and let their eyes lock, "And seriously, when are you going to plan a normal hangout where we meet somewhere rather than you treat me like your own personal rabbit?" After she said that, with obvious sass, she noticed Carmen and the shooting range. Acknowledging Carmen with a nod, not embarrassed at all from what had just happened, the brunette walked passed them and observed how run down this place was. There were beer cans, shells from guns of sorts (She was not knowledgeable in things like this), a wooden table, a barrel, metal targets, and mannequins. Although the range looked worn and torn, there was rhyme and reason behind the set up. Ellie had a hunch this place meant a lot to someone (or a collective of people).

"... well, I'm not dressed appropriately for this at all." Never has Ellie shot a gun and never has she been to a range before. This was a first. The closest thing to a place where 'shooting' happens that she's been to was and still is the Control Room. Her interest was written all over her face as her big, deep green eyes gained curiosity for something she was never given the chance to try. If she had to point out a place that she spends ungodly amounts of time at, it would be the library. What a nerd, right?

Turning her head to look back at the two, she kindly asked, "Mind if I shoot something? I'd need a little lesson and I hope you don't mind what I'm wearing... But I'd love to know how it feels."

Location; Dorm roomHallway → Outside Keats’ room
Interacting With; Avalon (@smarty0114) and Keats (@Lasrever)
Mood; Fucking boredCalmMischievous

So, it wasn't exactly the best start to the day. A groggy head, a bed head, and eyes so clogged up with dirt Brook might have as well slept outside in the garden for the same effect. Not bothered to get her legs moving, the infamous waker-uppper slipped out of bed head first. Once she had the motivation to act like a normal human being - even though she really wasn't - Brook washed up, threw on her grey hoodie jacket, strode out of the room and waved goodbye to Eliana’s bed blanket.

“Oh. She's gone already. Damn.”

She was hoping to give the girl a wet wake up call someday, but with Brook's inability to wake up without an alarm, that didn't seem like something that would happen any time soon.

Popping a piece of gum she found in her jacket pocket into her mouth, Brook blasted music through her earphones as she paced down the hallway. Everyone seemed to be out today, with the exception for the lazy butts at Mayweather. And Brooklyn was the queen of lazy butts. The only reason she decided to get moving and meandering through the halls today was the message she had received from her mother the previous night. After replying that she hadn't made contact with the outside world in a while, Beryl McKenzie began to spam Brook's phone with fifty reasons why being a lazy shit wasn't good for your health. Ignoring those texts didn't make the situation any better for Brook, either. She had heard after that evening that there was some freak rainstorm in London that day. Coincidence? Maybe. Or not.

The moment her music cut off for some strange reason, Brook found herself turning too early at a wall corner. Immediately after, a familiar voice ripped through the halls, so loud and distorted Brook might've as well mistaken it for someone's shitty attempt at singing some deranged heavy metal song. However, realising who's said familiar voice it was, the mint eyed midget spedwalked to the sound.

“Ooh, I wonder who's pissed her off today! This is gonna be a pretty picture.”

Just as she suspected, it was the biggest motherfucking Mayweather out of all the other motherfucking Mayweathers. Avalon motherfucking Middleton. Brook couldn't get enough of that easily pissed off personality, and it seemed that the person who had pissed Avalon off thought the same. If Brook could recall the room number, this was Keats, a fellow Delphina, Avalon was hurtling insults at. Sure, Brook didn't know the guy all that well, but she ‘knew’ him well enough to see him as a tolerable Delphina ‘comrade’. Even if Keats could be a problem at times, Avalon was a problem all of the time.

“Oh. Hey there, Ava,” Brook said with an innocent smile. “I know you're all about getting into guys’ pants and all, but are you honestly that desperate that you would go for a Delphina? My, you're surprisingly naughty for a Mayweather.”

Brook made sure to emphasise her oh so posh British accent just to piss the girl off even more. Ah, how fun it was to drive people like her off the edge. All the while lokey defending a fellow Delphina. How considerate and cunning.

In a split second, Brook's eyes panned down to the electricity crackling at Avalon's fingertips. Human flesh and electricity weren't exactly good combinations. And neither were water bodies and electricity. Brook's inner logic advised her that taking a step or two back would be best if she didn't want to get ‘shocked into the next century’.

“You're a Mayweather hero, aren't you? I don't recall insulting people with a literal burning passion being in your job description. How about I get Keats to suffocate you in the designer clothing you loathe so much? Or maybe it would be better if you just fucked off and never came back? I'm sure we would all prefer the latter.”

With a hint of mischievousness in her smile, Brook made brief eye contact with Keats, and then all the way back up at Avalon. It was a stupid thing to thing about in this type of situation, but Brook was getting seriously pissed off at how small she was in comparison to the entire school population.

Heh. Just can't get enough of pissing this girl off.

Location; Remote Firing Range
Interacting With; Benny and Eliana - @Hippocamp @lovely complex
Mood; Amused → Slightly upset → Slightly nervous → Slightly excited

Once Benny mentioned that Dr. Chaos may have planted a mind control device on her, she chuckled, looking up for a moment. "You know, that's actually a very solid theory when you think about it. I trust him though, I don't think he would do that to me... or my friends for that matter." She said. "He knows I'm not out to steal his scientific genius, nor am I the type to stab homies in the back." She said with a genuine smile. "Uhm... I can call him and see if he can drive over here but don't go pulling him out of your hat... he'd get pissed because you might interrupt his research." She said.

After she was finished shooting, and once Benny replied to her statement regarding how to take hostages, she chuckled a little more. "Well if you do outlive me, promise me that you won't do that Moral Event Horizon shit, okay? I don't mind villains that go after heroes in it for the glory, or other powerful people that could very well be dangerous by themselves. I just don't like villains that you can't distinguish between a rapist/murderer in jail, or a Jihadi in Syria or that fucking Nazi our own school." She said with a serious tone. "Trust me, I'm a villain too. I'm just with Mayweather right now because I wanna work on the good side of me as well. I wanted to learn in a more peaceful, friendly environment where I won't need to be afraid to show my powers... but... that goddamn fire happened and the administration had to be PUTOS IDIOTAS!!!" She shouted, kicking a nearby tree before calming down. "Sorry... I just... this whole... Mayweather and Delphina bullshit pisses me off sometimes. I've seen things like this happen before... I lived it." Carmen said softly. "It's only a matter of time before a kid or two gets killed... hell one of them was already sent the hospital by fucking Shitler Genocidicles." She said, Shitler Genocidicles being her nickname for the Nazi in the school. "Just... do me a favor and please don't get involved in all of that Mayweather/Delphina riffraff. We're all human beings here... and hell... I'm both a hero and a villain. I'm getting along with you and James just fine." She sighed. "Yeah... sorry. I... sometimes ramble on when I'm upset." She said, leaning up against a tree. "And... don't worry about offending me regarding my religion." She said with a smile. "I'm a Diest. While I do believe in God... I just don't believe in the Bible or Quran or... whatever organized religion's out there. Don't worry, you can curse and insult my God all you like, I'm pretty sure it won't give a shit." She said with a chuckle. "Yeah... again, don't worry about it. Make all of the religious jokes around me, I tend to make 'em too." She grinned. "And..." She chuckled. "... I'm pretty sure Dr. Chaos will make Dorito-flavored ice-cream once my birthday rolls around next year. They already made Dewritos for crying out loud!" She laughed.

Once Benny looked at his phone and regarded his text, she looked to him. "Who?" She asked before getting her answer. "Oh... her. Uhm... I don't know her too well... but please fill in a good word for me." She said, gulping, hoping that at least Eliana won't report this range or any of this to the administration. She looked around before chuckling a little at his statement. "Well... anytime you're pulling me out of your top hat... just give me at least a few minutes notice via text, I could be in the middle of doing something important." She chuckled.

She then saw Eliana come out from the had, and land onto the ground back on her two feet. She saw how woozy she was, and was a little amazed by this... though the fact that seeing Benny summon objects all of the time made her a bit used to the spectacle, she still enjoyed him seeing people out of it nonetheless. Once Eliana told Benny out, Carmen stepped back a little with that signature 'We got a badass over here!' face, smirking a little. Once Eliana walked past her and examined the firing range, Carmen looked to Eliana. "Eliana... I know we don't know each other well, but please do me a solid and do NOT report this firing range to the administration. This... this place is kind of my home... and I don't want to see it torn down-" She was then cut off by Eliana's question, asking them if she could shoot something. At that, Carmen blinked. "Oh... you... actually want to shoot guns? I thought... you superheroes hated guns... and only anti-heroes like Deadpool and I used them." She joked, still surprised. "Well... yeah! Sure!" She smiled. "I can help you." She looked to Benny. "Benny... uhm... please summon me a Walther P22 with a few mags." She requested, holding out her hand.

If Benny complied, she looked to Eliana with a smile. "Okay... first thing you need to learn about shooting these things is how to safely handle them." She said. "Make sure when you're handling this thing, always keep it pointed towards the ground... or at least not at anything you're not willing to destroy." She said, gesturing to how she's keeping the gun pointed down towards the ground. "Always treat the gun as if it's loaded. Even if it's unloaded and the safety's on." She explained. "Always keep the safety on and your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire." She said, showing her the safety on the Walther P22 and demonstrating trigger discipline. "And last but not least... for the love of all things holy... do NOT SHOVE THE THING IN YOUR PANTS. I cannot stress this enough." She explained. "I've been plenty of gangbangers nearly shoot their asses and junk off for ignoring these rules. Now... do you understand the rules?" She asked. "If you do... repeat them to me." She said.

After the crash course, Carmen would load the P22 up, but keep the safety on. "Here... be very careful with this. While .22s are easy to shoot, and are typically non-fatal, these things still can kill someone and they can hurt like a motherfucker." She explained, handing the gun to Eliana. She then pointed to a few cans downrange, which aren't too far away. "Stand with your feet apart a little, pose your shoulders, and aim down the sights..." Carmen said, standing behind Eliana and guiding her to the standard handgun shooter pose. "Disengage the safety... and when you're ready to fire... pull the trigger."

If Eliana fired the gun, it would feel nice and easy, almost like a BB gun. Whether it was fun for her or not was up to her, but typically it's fun.

Samuel Keats

Location; Keats' Dorm
Interacting With; Avalon Middleton @smarty0114 Brooklyn McKenzie @Jay Kalton
Mood; Smug → Entertained → Condescending

Back in his dorm room, Keats was staring out of the window. Partly because he was bored again, but mostly because he wanted to see when their victims got back. Sure, some of them could probably kill him, but the reactions would be almost worth it! He couldn't help but have a wide grin spread across his face as he saw Avalon approaching the doors. This was gonna be good. With a chuckle, he lay down on his bed, listening closely for any sign of a reaction. With someone that spent so much time trying to make people look at her, this was bound to piss her off.

Sure enough, he was rewarded by a loud shriek from the floor above that made his laughter grow even louder, even as he heard the footsteps heading down towards his room. Seemed like someone might be a little bit upset with him. He barely managed to keep a straight face when his door swung open, but got it just in time to be confronted with a slightly furious-looking Avalon. As he locked eyes with her, he realised that that was an understatement. If he wasn't, well, Keats, he might have backed down instead of trying to annoy her, but he wanted to see how far he could push it.

Before he could retort though, he heard another voice cut in and start mocking Avalon. This just got better and better! He couldn't help but laugh to himself as the girl... Brooklyn, if he remembered right, started tearing into Avalon. Seemed like she wasn't the biggest fan either. Keats could relate, and as their eyes met briefly it was clear how entertaining they were both finding this.

"Yeah, you shouldn't go breaking into people's dorms, you know." he smirked, shaking his head condescendingly. Of course he knew that he was being a hypocrite, but that was what made it funny! "Brook here has a point. You trying to catch me naked or something? I know I'm good looking, but that's getting desperate, Sparky."

Humble was a word that never applied to Keats, so he decided to annoy her even more instead of thinking about the health and safety risks. He kept on talking, with what could only be described as a shit-eating grin on his face and raised his hands in an exaggerated shrug."As for the room, I plead the fifth."

He sat up, barely keeping a straight face and speaking in a slow, taunting voice. "Besides, what're you gonna try and do, knock me out? Good luck getting the things untangled if you manage it 'cause if it was me that tied them up, you'd have a lot of trouble undoing some of those knots. Hypothetically." Okay, so she'd manage it, but it would take a while. Besides, nothing wrong with a little exaggeration!

While he'd found the whole thing funny so far, Keats had at least managed to act like he was taking it seriously. Once he'd finished talking though his composure finally shattered and he burst out into a fit of mocking laughter. That shriek! It was like an angry budgie! He should've recorded it! This was so, so worth it. Brooklyn turning up was just the icing on the cake.

Just to be safe, though, he placed his hand on the blanket. If it came to it, he could probably use it to block most of the electricity or something like that. Figured he could take her if he had to.

Location; Keats and Will's Dorm -> The Roof
Interacting With; Keats @Lasrever | Brook @Jay Kalton | Samantha @HushedWhispers
Mood; Furious -> Annoyed

The arrival of Brook had really shook up her plans. She hadn't come down there wanting a physical confrontation, but she had been ready to fight Keats just in case. She knew she wouldn't be able to take both of them though, in a verbal fight or a physical one. She was outnumbered, which meant she needed to retreat and regroup, but not without throwing down a few more insults.

"Keats, the only person at this school who wants to get into your pants is Eliza Doolittle here, and I don't think that counts, seeing as how she's probably fucked her way through most of you Delphinas. If my power was as useless as hers though, I guess I'd need a bit of a self esteem boost every now and then," she said, smirking with renewed confidence.

She then looked Keats in the eye, her smirk falling into a scowl. "You have until midnight tonight to fix my room, or I will sure as all hell make sure you regret ever stepping foot onto my campus? Do we have a deal?" She spun around and stormed out, shoving Brook out of her way with a snarl. She couldn't stand these people, walking around like they owned the god damn place. And if it was a war they wanted, then she would give them a war.

She stormed up the stairs and onto the roof to find Sammie waiting for her, already setting up. "Sorry I'm late. I was dealing with a wannabe prankster. But, now that I'm here, lets make this place look amazing," she said, grinning as she began helping her friend. "Oh! How'd it go with Will? Tell me everything! she said, an excited look on her face as she prepared to dig deep into her friends' first date together.

People’s words faded away as Gianna Daniels closed her eyes fighting the heated pheromones from rushing out of her. Breathe in, breathe out. If it weren’t for Cecilia Lovelace, every person in the vicinity, let's say in a 20 ft to 35 ft radius, depending on how much Gia extended her soul to spread her scent, would feel an unbearable sadness that most people have yet to experience. If they did, they’ve had time to cover up the pain temporarily like her-- well, that is until someone awakens these surpassed feelings. Suffering and pain led people to act out in ways they never knew they were capable of and she didn’t need that. No, not right now. The amount of chaos and death Gia could cause was tremendous if she didn’t put a ‘lid on it’ (or in other words, contain her emotions). Gradually opening her eyes, she noticed Brenna and the rest of her original group had left. Taking small steps, she slowly followed behind the Asian girl who did this to her. As she walked, keeping her heartbeat at a steady rate, the bronze skinned woman reached into her purse and took out pills that were given to her by her teacher.

Mrs. Lovelace had told her a personal experience that could be something similar to what Gia may experience one day. When her mentor’s emotions became wildly erratic, they would manifest her very being into a heartless monster and if it wasn’t for her husband (at the time, just a friend), there would have been many dead students in the Arena of the Control Room during their sophomore year. Not even staff knew how to calm her inner beast down. Her husband is primarily a man that has full control over people’s memories, capable of erasing, replacing, and saving. How could he help a woman whose emotions transformed her into a monster untold? Lucas Lovelace was a leader and still is, which is why he is a top CEO of Millennium, a company that owns a worldwide hotel line with the same name, a place for supers and norms alike. This moment at school truly showed his ability to think on his feet. He was able to form a group of students, surprisingly both heroes and villains alike, having begrudgingly asked for the assistance of villainous twins in particular, to sedate the love of his life without killing her.

With shaking hands, Gianna poured four pills into the palm of her right hand, and immediately brought it into her mouth. Without the need of water, she swallowed each pill whole and let it do it’s job on numbing her senses. The closer the villain that went by the alias Cupid’s Psyche got to the new girl, the better she felt. After closing the container, she put the medication back in her purse and strolled beside the girl. Glancing down at the short haired, pale skinned woman, she assuredly asked, “Old East or Old West? I’ll lead. And please, try not to… do whatever you just did to me again. Seems like you need to find your on and off switch for your powers.” Turning her head away from the tiny girl (especially juxtaposed to her), she looked straight ahead and sighed, “Let me guess. Freshman. First day. Parents sent you here to ‘control’ your abilities and be ‘responsible’.” Getting to the section where the path diverged into two, one way leading to Old West and the other way, Old East, the self proclaimed Queen of Delphina nonchalantly continued with the small talk, waiting for the other girl to tell her which way they needed to go, “You’d be surprised how many students have a similar story. I’m simply taking an educational guess. I, on the other hand, had a choice. Perks of being your own guardian at the time.

Minako swallowed hard when she heard the girl speak. That voice… no, no, Minako, no. “D-do not worry. I have had some practice at this, and I am very good at controlling things once the connection is made. It should fade shortly. It is just… it seems to function on its own until that point. She bit her lip, thinking about her words. ”And… your guess is mostly accurate, though my father was more concerned with finding out the practical applications of my abilities. He has… very high expectations for me.” She paused at the fork in the path, and again she flushed slightly. ”Truthfully, I do not know which way I am going. I was headed to the Residence Office to learn what room I was assigned to when I… bumped into you.”

Listening silently to every word, Gia took in the girl’s tone, her pauses, and her mannerism. “Loosen up a bit, I don’t bite.” She paused and then softly added, “Hard.” After giving the girl a teasing wink, she assuringly nodded, “I’m more worried for you. Not many people would like to feel...those kind of emotions, so suddenly.” Glancing over the Asian that she was slowly deeming as ‘cute’ and taking note of the lip bite, the taller woman couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle, “Hm, must be nice. That statement was directed to the girl’s comment about her father, even if it was something Gia said absentmindedly. Taking out her phone, the hispanic dialed the Assistant Director’s number and smiled, “Well, that’s an easy fix.

Allowing herself to pace back and forth, while she waited for someone to answer, Gia twirled her hair and gave her lips a quick lick. When she heard someone on the other line, her expression brightened, “Hey Ms. Rousseau! It’s Gia… oh, I’m doing great. I was going to go shopping but I bumped into a friend… mhmm. Oh, I was wondering if I could get the…” She looked at the Asian, still not knowing her name.

Minako frowned for a second, then flushed a deep scarlet as she realized she hadn’t even introduced herself. ”Ah, uh, Minako. Minako Ikeda.” She bowed deep at the waist, her hands clasped in front of her. ”It is a pleasure to meet you.” Recalling the exact circumstances of their meeting, she bit her lip again. ”Ah, I mean…” No, no, no! Ugh, maybe I should just shut up.

One moment..” Putting her cellphone on her smooth chest, Gia tilted her head at the girl’s gesture, and gave her an enticing stare (unintentionally, that is), “Pleasure is all mine. Have I told you my full name? Well, I’m Gianna Daniels, just in case I didn’t.” Bringing her attention back to the phone call, she pressed it on her ear, “Sorry about that, yeah, I’m currently with a lost student that goes by the name of Minako Ikeda. She was wondering if she could get her dorm room. I can give her the phone if you’d like to-- oh great! Mmhm. You know me, not one for the feud! I love helping my fellow Mayweathers~ Thanks so much. Okay. Bye, bye now.” Putting her phone back in her purse, she signaled for the girl to follow her, “Old East. Room 3F, which means third floor, room F.

Her flushing deepening as her brain short-circuited from the look she was given, Minako nodded dumbly. ”Thank you.” Ohhh, I am not getting any sleep tonight, am I.

Pushing the door open, Minako took in the interior of the dorm. For a girl coming from mansions and vacation homes, it was… small. In fact, she was pretty sure that the dinner room back home was the same size as the entire dorm. Still it was pleasant, comfortably furnished. She could easily get used to it.

She wasn’t sure about the bedroom, however. Sharing the same sleeping area with someone else, it could be very awkward in the morning. Not that she hadn’t done it before, in fact she had shared a room with Mei since her sister had stopped nursing. But, Mei was her sister. Now she’d be sharing with a stranger, which was a very different thing.

Spying the rumpled sheets on one of the beds, as well as a small wardrobe of clothes through the partially opened closet on the left side, Minako pursed her lips. Well, of course someone else would already be here. It’s the second month. She turned to the second closet and pushed her suitcases inside. She could deal with unpacking later, once she was alone. Turning back to the entrance, where Gianna was leaning against the door frame, she clasped her hands behind her back. The walk through the building, silent though it had been, had cooled her off sufficiently that she felt she could talk without making a complete idiot of herself. ”So… um…if you don’t mind my asking, what did you mean earlier?” She bit her lip. ”When you said that not many people would want to feel those kinds of emotions?”

Gia’s melting chocolate eyes lit up with the inquiry, “Well, whatever you did to me... made me recall unpleasantries. All I’m saying is, be careful who you trust here and more so, who you attack. On accident or not, people are sensitive. Stick with me, and you might make it out alive.” Her expression was stoic and serious when she said the last sentence. Minako had entered a battlefield having no idea what could happen to her and who she was up against. At least with Gia, Minako would be off the radar of some of the strongest villains in the school. For the most part, Cupid’s Psyche was respected and if she wasn’t, no one would dare challenge her, not yet that is. That’s just a can of worms no one should open.

Swallowing hard, Minako bowed. ”I see. Again, I am deeply sorry for that. I have seen many different reactions to the connection. Sometimes it is pleasant, sometimes not. Unfortunately, I have no control over how it feels for someone else. The only defense I have is to avoid eye contact. It can make me appear somewhat rude, but I find it is usually the better alternative.” Straightening, she smiled as warmly as she could. ”But, you need not worry about me. I am well trained in self-defence, and I believe that my ability gives me sufficient advantage to adequately protect myself.”

Confidence and strength. I like that in a girl.” Gia pleasantly grinned as she moved into the room, closer to Minako. When she was inches away from the timid girl, she looked around, observing her roommate’s belongings. “I wished I could’ve mentally prepared you for your roommate, but it seems like I can’t tell who she is by her things. Possibly a freshman I haven’t gotten fully acquainted with.” Looking down at the Asian girl once more, Gia’s skin being softly illuminated with the ceiling light, she gently questioned, “Have you given the school an alias? Sometimes it changes if they deem a better one for you but usually in the beginning we are allowed to pick our own.

For a moment, Minako’s jaw moved, but no words came out. Bluh… she’s… why are these rooms so hot? Clenching her thighs together, she nervously plucked at the bottom of her shirt, her previous confidence deserting her. ”Um, th-thank you. Though, I’m not sure what you mean by an alias.”

The name the world will remember you by, hero.” Taking a seat on the Asian’s new bed, patting it for the innocent lamb to sit beside her, she leaned backwards, resting her body on the palm of her hands and giving Minako a good display of her figure (this was Gia’s second nature, after all). “I chose to be Cupid’s Psyche. I would have used Eros, rather than Cupid, but I doubt most people know about greek mythology. Eros means love or desire and Psyche was the beautiful human woman he fell in love with. Psyche was his soul. Call me a romantic or whatever, but I liked how it sounded and to me, it gave people a good idea of what I could do to them.” Pausing for a moment, the bronze skinned woman began tracing her pointer finger on her bare leg.

Minako told herself it was rude to stare, but she just couldn’t help it. A part of her wanted to sit down, and wanted it very badly. But her heart felt like it was about to hammer its way out of her chest, if her face didn’t burn itself up first. Sitting down seemed like it was both a very good and a very bad idea, and a small part of her suspected that this girl wanted her to stare at her. ”Oh. Um, then no, I haven’t… picked one. Actually, I wasn’t aware about that part at all.” She glanced towards the window, her expression falling slightly. ”I’ll probably just use whatever the academy gives me. My father has… other plans for me.”

It seemed that Gia’s darling new acquaintance had a complex relationship with her father. The Delphina Queen could tell simply by detecting her inflections. The best course of actions was to hold off on asking about that skeleton in her closet, especially since Gia too had her own ‘daddy issues’, “Why don’t you show me what you can do? Maybe I can help you. Coming to the school with an idea of ‘who you are’, since they believe an alias is something that describes our very being, will give you major brownie points in some of your classes.

For a moment, Minako was silent. An idea of who I am? How am I supposed to tell them that when I don’t even know myself? Then the full implications of Gianna’s request hit her, and she felt the temperature of her face skyrocket, her cheeks flushing a deep scarlet. ”W-w-wait, you mean you want me to… um… uh…”She wants me to… oh dear… “Y-you mean, right now?”

Sitting up eagerly, Gia gave the newcomer a challenging stare, “I don’t have anything better to do! I’d love a demonstration.” She stuck out her tongue jokingly and then added, “Is it dangerous? God, do I love danger.

Hardly believing what she was hearing, Minako fidgeted, her blush creeping up towards her ears and down to her throat. ”Um, n-no, it’s not dangerous. Well, maybe. It’s difficult to explain in a way that will be easy for you to understand. It would be easier to show you, but,” she bit her lip, nervously looking at the older girl, her stomach clenching and unclenching. “”But, in order to do that, I would have to… connect with you again. Like I did before.”

Instantaneously, Psyche brought her right hand to her chest, similar to how she did earlier. At least now, she would be mentally prepared… but was it worth the heartache? For a moment, Gia kept to herself, debating whether or not this was a good course of actions. Minako’s powers weren’t necessarily the dangerous part of the display, it would be her subject she used them on. Taking a deep breath in, Gia went to her purse pulling out her pills and a syringe (inside a ziplock bag) with blue liquid inside of it. The syringe was only for emergencies. Resting her medications on the bed while exhaling out, the older woman gave into her curiosity, “Now that I know how it will feel like… if you start getting severely depressed, to the point that it will make you want to do irrational things, you must stab me with this.” Her brown orbs cautiously looked down at the needle. “The only reason why the school allows me to carry that around is because of how my emotions can make a mass of people do… terrible things.

Standing up, Gia locked eyes with Minako once more, “Alright. Do your worst.

Swallowing hard, Minako nodded. It was a stark reminder of just where she was now, that she wasn’t the only one who could do unusual things. ”R-right. Okay, I understand.” She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths. Okay, okay. Remember what sensei said. To master another, we must first master ourselves. To master ourselves, we must accept ourselves. Do not fight what you feel, but guide it instead. Find your center, and you will be unbroken. Almost idly, her hands reached up, fingertips brushing along Gianna’s jaw to cup her face. One… two…

She opened her eyes, and for the second time that day looked directly at Gianna.

Perhaps it was because of her own nervousness, coupled with her proximity to Gianna, perhaps it was Gianna’s own power affecting her, but if the pulse of warmth she had felt before had been a wave, then this was a tsunami. Her knees shook slightly as it washed over her, and the unexpected intensity of it caused a soft moan to escape from her mouth. Her eyes glowed brightly, reflecting inside Gianna’s own chocolate gaze, and she bowed her head, taking a very large step back. ”Mmph…”

The connection process was one of the most heart wrenching experiences the villain could ever ask to go through again. The difference between the first time and this time was all Gia could think about was Vincent. All the memories she shared with him washed over her mind like a slideshow and the moment where she could have stopped him from running back into the school building was stuck on replay. The vulnerable Queen couldn’t contain her tears any longer. Her light makeup was ruined and internally, she was hyperventilating. Don’t freak out. Don’t freak out. It will pass…. Let it pass.. Just when those words crossed her mind, the images became more distant and her breathing started to steady itself. No longer thinking about her past, Gianna let her blurry eyes look at the girl that had so much potential, her chest moving up and down with every breath she took. To say Gia wasn’t turned on would be an absolute lie. After having such an exasperating phenomena crash into her like a natural disaster and then seeing the little Asian’s body tremor was a spontaneous, wild thing to encounter. To think Psyche would find a girl capable of being turned on by her own abilities, kind of like herself… was not only attractive as fuck but fascinating. Absolutely fascinating.

Gulping down air, Minako struggled to organize her thoughts. She hadn’t felt like this since… she hadn’t ever felt like this. ”Buh...before we continue, I should explain this.” She finally looked up at Gianna again, her mouth dry as her hands clutched at her pant legs. ”What you feel when I connect to you… I have no control over that. From what I have seen before, it seems to be different for each person, and it’s not always the same each time either.” As she spoke, her voice gradually grew more steady, and she took another deep breath. ”Um, are you ready to continue?”

Even though Gia’s face was wet from her tears, a masochistic smirk never left her face as she stared deep into the hypnotic eyes of the freshman. She already went this far and it seems like the girl wasn’t being terribly affected by her powers, yet, so why stop now? “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.” And with that, the willing subject gave the newcomer full reigns over her body.

Minako nodded, and she straightened up a little. ”Okay.” She gently bit her lip as her thoughts turned inward, trying to think of what to do that wouldn’t be too extreme. When something finally came to her, she smiled. Yes, that will work. “Okay, close your eyes, and describe to me where you are right now.” Her voice became stronger, steadier. This was something that was familiar to her, something she could do and control.

Obediently, Gia did exactly what the girl asked of her, closing her eyes and describing her surroundings, “I am in your new bedroom, which is very much like every other dorm room. Based on your roommate’s things, she ‘speaks’ Delphina, all the way. The room is small, but enough for students to make by in, with the same boring furniture and hidden nooks and crannies you can hide things in...

A small smile played across Minako’s lips. ”Are you sure?” she asked, a small teasing note in her voice.

For once in the confidant senior’s life, she wasn’t sure of herself. This girl made her question the area she was in, though Gia knew she was in the dormitory, right? “Am I not?

Minako’s smile grew wider, and a sudden chill spread across Gianna’s back accompanied by a soft whisper, as though a cold wind was blowing against her, and she instinctively shivered. ”Open your eyes.”

Gianna did so, and immediately gasped. Around them spread a vast sea of clouds, roiling like steam as it was driven by the wind. Beneath her feet was flat, black rock, covered in clear ice that gleamed in the sunlight. She was standing on a circular mountain peak, no more than twenty feet across, with sides that dropped down so sheer that one would have needed the best mountaineering gear in the world to scale it, and even then, they would still likely fall. The wind came up again, this time howling with unrestrained fury, the cold biting deep into Gianna’s body. Across from her, Minako rocked on her feet, hands clasped behind her as she gave the most innocent smile imaginable. ”So, where are you now?”

Amazed at the reality that laid before her, the older woman hesitantly questioned, “... I have no idea. Is this real or…?” Her voice trailed off as she took in the air around her. Was it weird that Gia couldn’t tell if this was a dream or not? Crossing her arms, rubbing her body for warmth, intrigued turned into desperation, as she gazed upon the other girl. Desperation was all she felt - she needed to know.

Sucking on her lip, Minako tilted her head. ”Technically, no. In reality, we’re still in my room.” She gestured behind Gianna, who turned around to see the same bed she had sat on not more than a minute ago. ”There’s my bed,” she gestured over her shoulder, and the second bed fuzzed into view, ”my roommate’s” a third gesture, and the entire back wall appeared beside them, ”the window.”

Then she vanished, reappearing beside Gianna. ”Now I’m here,” a light tapping sensation made Gianna look up, finding another Minako floating above her, grinning broadly, “up here,” and her voice really did sound like it was coming from above her, “and here as well.” The soft whisper that came from over her shoulder made Gianna shiver slightly. She blinked, and suddenly everything was back to the way it was before: the two of them, standing in front of each other, in the dorm room.

So… you can make illusions?” Thunderstruck, Gia unintentionally glared at the impressive freshman. Her mind still trying to register what had just happened. At the end of the day, Psyche would always be slightly intimidating no matter what she did to lessen her approach.

Again, Minako smiled. She held up her hand, her middle finger and thumb pressed together. “Well, that depends. If you want to know the truth, you must first answer one question: do you trust me?”

Trust wasn’t something Gianna Daniels did easily, but if she turned back now, who knows if she would ever find out this girl’s full potential? This was her opportunity to befriend someone that could help Gia achieve greatness. Everyone was seen as a tool in her eyes, but this girl, along with someone else the senior had been observing for a while, could be used as a weapon. So could she trust Minako? A girl she just met? A girl that made her heart shatter again and again and again? For the sake of finding out more…“Yes… I trust you.” With all her heart, she would trust this girl.

For a moment, uncertainty flickered across Minako’s face, though to Gianna she was still smiling. A flutter was running through her chest. It was different from what she had been feeling since she had first bumped into the other girl, not as intense, but still very similar. All of which added up to make her very uncertain about just what she was feeling, and she still wasn’t sure if she liked the feeling or not.

Finally she shrugged. “Alright then.” She snapped her fingers, and Gianna’s world went black.

Losing one sense, only heightens the others, but for someone who has never experienced being blind before, the sensation could be overwhelming. However, for Gia, this wasn’t the case. Mrs. Lovelace had thrown her in many different simulation scenarios, though what she experienced in the Control room was being deaf and not blind. Moving her hands around, she searched for Minako’s body until she felt the other girl’s shoulders. Letting her hands trail up the freshman’s form, ever so slowly, Gia’s fingers advanced up her shoulders, to her neck, until the Asian’s round face was in her gentle grasp. Bringing her head up for Minako to look at her, but unable to see anything she was doing, the woman seductively whispered, “I understand…” Although she was blind, she was still the same Gia, fairly beautiful and undeniably captivating. Giving the girl a magnetic smile, the senior purred, “We’re going to have a lot of fun, I can tell.

Minako swallowed hard, the change in proximity and low purr in her voice causing her cheeks to redden again. Um… uh… She screwed her eyes shut. No, no! Stay in control, Minako. She opened her eyes again, and this time there was steel in her glowing violets. She looked at it as a fight, like the ones back in her dojo back home. At their core, a fight was simply a contest of wills. And when it came to a contest of wills, she did not lose. And she still had one last trick she wanted to do. ”Do you?” She snapped her fingers again. As suddenly as it had vanished, Gianna’s sight returned, only for her to immediately sag against the smaller girl as a wave of vertigo washed over her. She could see the floor beneath her feet, but she could swear that she was upside-down. As quickly as it came, the feeling passed, and Minako stepped away from her. ”Now you see. When I connect to someone, I don’t connect to their mind. I connect to their body, and their senses, all of them, are open to me. Alter them, enhance them, or turn them off. That is what I can do.”

Her demonstration complete, she relaxed her control, allowing the connection to fade. ”So, um, yeah.” A small, bashful smile played across her lips, and she clasped her hands behind her back.

Gaining full control over her body once more. Gia grinned and scurried to her purse. First, she put away her medication and second, she took out her phone. “What’s your number? You just gained your first friend, Minako~” She waited for the exchange to happen and then the senior was ready to take a nap in her own bed. This was so much to handle in a short time span but worth every ounce of her time.

Blinking, for a moment Gianna’s words didn’t register in Minako’s ears. Wait, what? “You… you want to be my friend?”

Why wouldn’t I? You’re obviously a force to be reckoned with.

For a moment, Minako simply stood still, slightly dumbfounded. After the way that she had made her feel, she still wanted to be her friend? Slowly, a bright smile formed on her face, and she rushed to her backpack. ”Uh, s-sure! Thank you!” Her heart soared as she gave the other girl her number. Perhaps today hadn’t been a complete disaster after all.

After the girls exchanged numbers, Gia giving Minako Lucas’ number for true emergencies (for instance, if she couldn’t reach her), she picked up her purse, preparing to leave. Before she dismissed herself, the succubus of a woman leaned in toward the not so innocent little lamb, almost like she was going in for a kiss. Letting the tension build up, she let her bronze cheek brush against Minako’s pale, yet rosy one’s, as her mellow tone voice slipped into the newcomer’s mind, “Be careful who you blush in front of.” Her lips were inches away from her ear and it would feel like the she-wolf was going to nibble on it, but instead she pulled away and winked, “I wouldn’t want someone to steal you away from me.” And with that, the temptress took her leave.

When Carmen warned Benny about Dr. Chaos getting mad, he decided Eliana would be the only one being transported for now. Some people were stuck in vanilla methods of travel, so Benny had to pick who invited into nil space carefully to not end up making a lot of (inconvenienced) enemies. When Carmen mentioned Klaus, Benny cringed a little, but nodded at the nickname Shitler Genocidicles. ”That’s really fitting. Überdouche too, I call him. He’s destined to have someone put him down by force I’m positive, kind of like the third reich itself…” Benny leaned back a little and examined the shapes of distant clouds as he went on. ”Tell you what, I’ll try not to prank anyone too badly. I’m going to give as good as I get out there though. By the way, I think you have a good sense of morals. The people who are all good or all bad aren’t really anyway, they’re faking it for certain. We’re the realest uh… Homies. Over here in this neck of the woods.” Benny said with only a dash of hesitance on the word homies. When Carmen asked for him to put in a good word for her with Eliana, he nodded. ”I’ll recommend you for certain. Greatest snack sharer this side of the Mississippi river. And yeah, I'll give you a heads up before I pull you out of your normal time-space.” After his last remark Benny laughed a little, trailing off as his focus intensified.

Benny watched as Eliana stepped from his hat out into the regular universe again. He was glad to see her, and to show off a little. Real magic was better than acquiring guns anyway. ”I don’t know that… You had a run in with someone foul-natured, didn’t you?” He let his dark eyes linger on her enchanting, powerful emerald green ones when they came into contact. Her eyes, containing a large part of her power, had been the first thing to stand out to Benny about the girl’s appearance. ”There’s always next time for a normal get together… But hey, don’t you like the quick travel, cotton-tail? No environmental impact for it either, totally good for your carbon footprint.” Benny couldn’t resist teasing Ellie just a little. There was always a new good nickname for her just around the corner. He gestured to Carmen. ”This is Carmen, my soul sister. She knows how to grab just the right kind of bite to eat. And she also shoots the best out of anyone I’ve seen, by a big margin.” After Eliana’s request, Benny smiled. ”You’re in luck, you have a great teacher over here.”

Benny produced the model of .22 caliber Carmen requested along with rounds, and handed it over. Then he watched approvingly as Carmen went over gun safety. He acquired some safety glasses and headphones with matching silver trim detail, to go with Eliana’s refined look, and handed these to her when she was ready to take them. He started disassembling his FAL a little as he continued to listen, and watch expectantly to see if Eliana would still want to try to knock out a target down range. ”Even though it’s a .22 it’s going to kick, so don’t turn it sideways and hold it with both hands. Feet spread apart in that stance like Carmen said, she’s telling you the right stuff.” Benny thought that any hero or villain could do with learning how different types of guns worked, after all some of the situations they were bound to deal with in the future were worse than a war zone. It was likely enough that with the terrifying powers out there in the world, a little extra preparation couldn't hurt... He savored Carmen's concerned brows as she mother-birded Eliana's first gun experience. He wasn't going to tease her for that though, it was important that Ellie didn't make a mistake and hurt herself. "Carmen or I can stand behind you and help you hold it, too. Remember to put the safety gear on before you pull the trigger, too, otherwise it doesn't serve much of a purpose." Benny winked a little suggestively at Eliana. Mentoring was nice, he wasn't going to miss the opportunity to start stealing the show a bit.

Benny put down the pices of the FAL and stepped in closer beside the other two. He considered his own feelings, briefly, somewhere in the back of his mind. Eliana reminded him a lot of someone but he hadn't placed it yet. He knew he was glad to have her around though, and Carmen too of course. It was sometimes frustrating being a mystery to himself.

Klaus Van Untergang

Location; Garden
Interacting With; Will @Smarty0114 | Elijah @BeastofDestiny
Mood; Cooperative → Commanding

The Nazi entourage looked on in fascination as Elijah Masterson forcefully grabbed Emilia by the shirt and struck her in the gut. He was efficient. Brutal. Effective. Übermensch believed that his intentions were to actually help the girl; though his actions didn't reflect that much at all. The German huffed, watching silently as that foolish young hero, Will Blake, used his telekinesis to levitate Klaus's victims to the infirmary. As much as it pained him to allow that sniveling rat to escape unscathed, he didn't want to risk incurring the wrath of Elijah. A conflict with the fire manipulator at this point in time would only cause the Übermensch an unnecessary headache. So far now, Klaus would allow William his moment. "Run away, little rat. Run away as your kind always do." He called after the retreating telekinetic. He could have his moment, yes. But Klaus wanted the final word. Couldn't let Will's escape get to the boy's head, now could he?

Klaus Van Untergang returned Elijah's steely gaze with one of his own. The man's tone was not appreciated; however, the German was willing to look past Masterson's contempt to the message beneath it. "There is no need for an ultimatum, dear Elijah. I will do as you ask. My men and I will...restrain ourselves...from acting further against your interests. I doubt you will believe me, but I do not particularly enjoy conflict with my peers. Even the Mayweathers. If I had my way, we would all stand united. Yet they choose to oppose me for my ideals. Ideals that would serve to better the world around them. You can understand that I only want what is best for our species, yes? Ah. Whatever the case, I do not mean to preach." Klaus turned toward his friends and allies, waving them toward the garden's exit. "Oh, but Masterson? Do not threaten me again or you will not live to regret it." Klaus's words held no malice in them. He had nothing against Elijah as a person and his tone reflected this fact. However, Klaus Van Untergang could not allow himself to be seen as weak by his lieutenants. And he most certainly couldn't allow word to reach the rank and file that the great Übermensch was a coward. It's just business. He thought, following the others out of the garden and out into the campus exterior.

James Spinne

Location; The Fountain → Slightly to the Left of the Fountain
Interacting With; Brenna @smarty0114 | Gianna @lovely complex | Kayla @BeastOfDestiny Minako @Thundercrash
Mood; Worried → Sympathetic → Moral Quandary → Hopeful

"Lucky me." James muttered. Gianna was not his biggest fan, she had made that very clear every time they interacted. Well, who cares! I don't like you either! Spinne thought, sticking his tongue out the moment Gianna turned away from him. He regretted the immature act almost the second he did it. I am...such a child. Hopefully no one important saw that. Like Brenna. Speaking of Brenna, she took his arrival rather...well? The Lancaster girl avoided eye contact, which worried Spinne to no end. Is she mad at me? Do I smell? Was the breakfast bad?! Oh. Wait. She's probably embarrassed you came swinging in like a knight in shining spider armor. Yeah. That's it. That wasn't normal human behavior. Oh boy, did I screw everything up? Okay. Calm down. Think it through. Should I apologize? Yes. Do it now, before she can think about how stupid you are. No. Wait. Lucas says don't apologize, just learn from your mistakes and move forward. Females can smell weakness. They're like, sharks to blood or whatever. I'll do that. After all, Luke is the final authority on women. With that issue dealt with, James turned his attention back to reality. Kayla hadn't so much as glanced in his direction when Arachnid went to shake her hand. That's fine. She's probably just nervous. It's cool. Who isn't nervous around Gianna? This has nothing to do with his horrible joke; of course not. His jokes were great.

What wasn’t great, however, was the sudden ‘umph’ coming from James’ left. He turned just in time to see a girl he didn’t recognize bump right into Daniels. This isn’t going to end well. Things went from bad to worse as Brenna immediately went at the girl, shouting at her for what was obviously a minor mistake garnered from a lapse in attention; something James was well known for. He looked from Kayla to Minako, absolutely helpless. He hated conflict. A lot. If he had the power to, Spinne would’ve stepped between the two she-wolves and talk the whole situation away. But he knew better than to get between his Ice Queen and her prey. People who got in their way tended to get dropped. James gave the poor girl a sympathetic look and mouthed the words I’m so sorry’ when neither of the villainesses were looking his way. If Lancaster had one glaring flaw, it was…this. Gianna was molding her into the next big Delphina baddy and that honestly terrified James. He knew what Gia was like. How she treated her friends. The possibility that James was just one of Brenna’s puppets had crossed his mind before. It was a thought that tended to float on through whenever this side of the cryokinetic reared its ugly head. But Spinne shoved it to the back of his mind as he always did and came up with every excuse in the book as to why this was okay. Why it was all acceptable. There were so many ‘ifs’ ‘ands’ and ‘buts’ to allow for such within his twisted view of morality. Just…protecting her friend. I’d do the same. Right? The encounter ended rather abruptly when Gianna ordered Brenna and the others to take their leave.

James was more than happy to get away from Cupid’s Psychopath, and followed the other two girls away from the newcomer and the Delphina temptress. Once they were sufficiently far enough away from the scene, Brenna turned to address Kayla. And as if the last minute and half hadn’t occurred, she spoke in the sweetest, most innocent voice she could muster. There’s my girl. On some subconscious level, James knew full well that Brenna was only putting on a front. But he chose to ignore all logical thinking and conscious in favor of looking at the beautiful girl standing next to him. “I’ll do whatever you two want to do.” He said through his goofy trying-not-to-laugh smile. ” I’m pretty-“James began, bending backwards until his hands touched the ground. His fingers instantly found purchase via the microscopic hairs on his digits, allowing the spider to hold a hand stand rather easily. “-Flexible like that.” James pushed himself back to his feet, brimming with pride at his terrible pun.

Jessica Sterling

Jessica Sterling watched on with mild interest as Harold battled the drone. While he hadn’t gone so far as to up the machine’s difficulty level to red, it was still a very impressive display of skill. “I could never do that.” Invincible admitted to Jackson. She did have to confess, however, that Harold’s bone manipulation abilities were kind of disgusting. Not to say that it was the most repulsive thing she had witnessed; not in the slightest. Jefferson’s agility was what interested the heroine most. She envied heroes who were so light on their feet that they could avoid most danger with what appeared to be relative ease. Jess, on the other hand, had to take almost every shot fired at her. She was about as flexible as a lead bar. Probably less so, now that she thought about it. Harold finished the thing off by slicing its disc-shaped head clean off. “Plans?” Jess reiterated while she considered the question. “If Lovelace doesn’t want to do anything, I’ll honestly just be hanging around here. I don’t get out much, if you couldn’t tell.” She answered with a slight grin. The thought of just trapezing around the Control Room all day was never a fun one. As much as she told otherwise, Sterling could only stand so much work before she lost interest. Better than spending time with strangers. She grumbled internally. These two are okay, but most aren’t so…reserved.

Jackson’s duel with the orange level AI was only slightly slower than his first fight. Must be using his powers less. Guess Harold and I got to him, huh? Jessica reasoned. From the looks of things, it would seem Hunt was going to clean up just as well as he did before, even without using his full power. The machine, not content with letting Jack get away with an east win, had a sudden spike in competence as it struck Jackson square in the face. Jessica let out a short puff of air in surprise. She wasn’t the only one who hadn’t been expecting that, either, judging from Hunt’s expression. Sterling worried that the hero’s brief lapse in attention would cost him, with the robot already charging its plasma cannon. But her worries seemed unfounded (or rather, misplaced) because Jack was on top of the AI in a second. His counterattack was lightning fast and utterly barbarous. Just the drop to the ground and the moves preceding it would’ve knocked a normal human out. The drone was a might more durable and managed to throw out one last, desperate jab which Jackson dodged without effort. What followed was a display of such animosity and rage that even Invincible had to wince at the lifeless machine’s fate. “Jackson?” She muttered. The thing’s eyes went black but Hunt continued his assault. Jackson got a hold of himself and stopped battering the fallen training bot. Jess shared her troubled look with Harold before turning back to the time stopper. “Yeah. You can tell by the sound it made when it’s fist hit you.” Jessica’s tone was noticeably different. Gone was the playful banter, replaced with genuine concern for her classmate. She didn’t know him well at all; but she recognized that look in his eye. It was one she knew all too well. And through her previous experience, Jess knew the best way to deal with the situation at hand.

“Are you two hungry? I forgot to grab breakfast before I headed over here. I’m gonna head over to the cafeteria…you two can tag along, if you want.” Jessica gave Harold a look, hoping to subtly urge him to assist in convincing Jack to take a break. Sticking around the Control Room after a breakdown would only make matters worse.

Jackson nodded at their responses, really he had no other plans either. He thought after this bot fight he would head back to the garden and search for the bird that shocked him. His weekends were usually, training, reading and private ballet sessions. Not really that productive. He looked over his shoulder before starting up his AI,"Oh he's going up again!" He cheered with a chuckle. Turning his body to face Jackson he still stayed kneeling as he watched. In the start of the session Harold smiled seeing Jackson wasn't manipulating time so slowly or just stopping it, he's coming out of his comfort zone after witnessing Jessica and Harold. He was performing impressively even without using his ability to the fullest, it looks like another win for little ol' Jackson.

Knight's eyes widened slightly as the bot prepared it's wrist plasma cannon, time seemed at it's normal pace, but he became even more interested on how Jack would handle this. Disappointed with only a mere roll he gave his attention to the bot which was already impacting it's robotic fist square on his face. Harold gasped and stood up on his feet, "It got him good." He winced as if feeling his pain. If that was Harold he would still stay composed even if he wanted to just go crazy and let out all of his rage on the metal monster. Feeling sympathy for Jackson he wanted to tell him to relax and not get too angered, but he was too late. The way he quickly trudged to the bot as it charged gave the impression he was about to lose his marbles, all of them, they'll just disappear. The mood of the room became tense and uneasy, especially for the two watching. The rapid movement was savage and merciless, truly disgusting for Harold but he didn't turn his head. Forcing the beast -well Jackson could be the one categorized as a beast at the moment- onto the ground and the strikes still advanced onto the clement AI, instead of sympathizing for Jackson Harold pitied the bot. It was worthless, it had no more value, delivering one more jab to counter the assaults, the bot's pitiful love tap didn't stand a chance. After deflecting the miserable punch he still went on punching the poor thing, it was just inhumane. Did he not know it deactivated quite a while ago? Is he making sure? No, he was just releasing his wrath, just because he got one punch in the face. Harold looked down at Jessica's troubled expression and he gave back the same look but also a bit of disappointment, Harold definitely couldn't stay in here after witnessing that. He crossed his arms and stared at Jackson, "Well, that's gonna leave a mark,", this failed attempt at easing the mood made Harold huff. He didn't know why he was so angry, probably because he turned into something evil, something dangerous. And all he had to say for himself was a light joke.

Food? Oh she's thinking eating will relax him? Whatever, getting out of here is the only thing I want to do. He loosened his stance and stopped glaring at Jackson. He sighed trying to find words and construct sentences to convince Jackson to come, hopefully he succeeds, "Jackson you should come to the cafeteria with us, stepping out of this room might calm you down. What you did was not...okay. You handled it barbarically and it became out of hand, but it's going to be fine. We'll talk it over at the cafeteria, or you can reflect in your lonesome. Company would be a much better option." Harold's voice was filled with concern, his compassionate trait inching into view.

Jack couldn't help but look back at the fight with a touch of regret. He thought of everything that he could have done to avoid the situation. I could've dodged the punch, avoided the plasma cannon properly, maybe even just stayed on the sides and watched the others fight. Of course, instead he gave the entire room the sort of atmosphere found only in cheery places like prisons or mental hospitals. He was well used to feeling out of place among others, but making others feel uncomfortable made him feel... well, uncomfortable. Luckily for Jack, Jessica seemed to be well prepared for situations like this and spoke up quickly. He was thankful that she gave the offer of breakfast. Yeah, forgive me for forgetting to mention that I already ate. He was about to respond when Harold spoke up, trying to convince him to eat with them. As he spoke, Jack thought of how lucky he was to have walked into the control room with these two. He knew that a good chunk of students at the school, Mayweather and Delphina alike, would probably never talk to him again after a display like this. Worse, some of them might even encourage it. Jack looked at the two waiting for a response and replied, "Yeah, I could use a bit of breakfast. I've been starving all morning." In reality, Samantha's breakfast was churning in his stomach from revulsion over his last fight. Harold's right. There's a difference between fair fighting and cruelty, and it's pretty obvious which category that that fell into.

Jackson walked towards the doors leading out of the control room, but something kept him from leaving. He felt like something had gone unsaid. Oh right. It's me. I'm leaving something unsaid. He took a deep breath before continuing, "Um, I'm sorry about that, by the way. I don't really know what happened back there. It's never happened before, and I honestly hope it never happens again." If it ever happened again, then he knew that the witnesses might not be so accepting, and Jack didn't want to be known as some cruel person. Still, it felt better to clear the air, even it is was only momentarily. To try and calm himself down, he did a little trick that he had picked up when he first discovered his powers. For a moment, he slowed down time to a crawl and began breathing normally. Just like when air stopped moving when he stopped time, the travel of air slowed whenever he stopped time. With this information, he knew that by focusing on his breathing, it would have the same effect as breathing into a paper bag. He knew that to the others, he must have looked like he was hyperventilating, while in reality, his breathing was actually slowing. When he felt somewhat calmer, he returned time to its regular passage and gave Harold and Jessica a small smile. "Well, I'm ready whenever you are." He said as he walked outside of the building to begin walking to the cafeteria.

Mood; Attentive → Bemused → "a tad bit chill" → Speculative
Mood; A little nervous → "Woah, Ellie's savage AF!" → Terrified → Awkward → Chilled AF → In thought → Heartwarmed

An immediate retort exited Eliana’s light pink lips to Benny’s comment about running into ‘someone foul-natured’, “That doesn’t matter now.” Within time, she may or may not allow herself to talk about this morning’s encounter but for now, she would get a gun in her hand and let all her frustrations go with every shot she took. Rolling her eyes at him calling her ‘cotton-tail’, she glanced back at Carmen, who seemed rather nervous with her being here, “Nice to formally meet you.” The cold and distant green orbs of the daughter of a renown teacher at Mayweather intimidatingly scanned her, waiting for the darker skinned woman to finish her paranoid request. Cutting her off, Ellie asked if she could be taught how to shoot a gun. While Benny summoned a pistol, she replied to the anxious acquaintance, “That’s the last thing I need. The entire student body ridiculing me because I have a stick up my ass. I already have my mother giving me hell and…” She was going to say Lucas’ name but decided against it, “...I gathered that this place was important to you.

Carmen nodded incredulously. "Yeah... right..." She said softly, Eliana still giving her the creeps. "Yeah, this place is important to me. Keeps me away from all of the bullshit, you know?" She said. "Seems like you can use a place like this anyway. Especially when you run into something that's triggering as fuck... use that trigger to pull the trigger." She looked to Benny for approval before shaking her head. "Sorry, that was total shit... I gotta work on that." She chuckled lightly.

Benny didn't give an ounce of approval, and was in fact, as stoic as a stone. He checked the summoned P22 nonchalantly, making sure it would function like a gun should, but not firing it to test. He could see Carmen's shoulders were tense beneath her shirt, and she moved her arms a little stiffly as she gestured like she was known to do. "The range is a great way to let off steam. You can have your choice of laughing with or at Carmen too. Haha, just kidding she's tough so you should laugh with her." As he said this Benny patted Carmen in the middle of the back with his hand which wasn't holding a handgun. Soon after, he handed the gun over to his pal. Gingerly, Benny took Eliana's headphones and placed them around her neck from slightly behind her, the glasses following resting upon her brow.

The pun was cringe worthy to say the least. Chuckling to herself on how Carmen’s confusion and excitement was written all over her face, Ellie shook her head at the sudden change in emotion, “Funny you’re afraid of me calling you out... yet here you are, getting ready to give me that gun.” Her green orbs glanced at the weapon in the other woman's hand.

Carmen shrugged. "Well, hero-types that are willing to fire guns aren't normally the types to snitch to the authorities." She said with a soft smirk. "Besides, I always wanted to teach someone in the art of using firearms. Properly, that is." She explained as Benny passed the safety glasses and headphones to Eliana.

While Carmen explained protocol, the short woman, especially in juxtaposed to both her colleagues, let the magician man put the headphones around her neck and glasses on her head. Taking note of the nice, silver trim on the headphones, she gave Benny a kind smile.

Watching Eliana with a smile of his own showing, Benny was pleased she had seemed to pick up on the customization he had made to her gear. He thought he had catered to her tastes pretty well knowing her like he did. And he relished the chance to flaunt his moves a little more. "You can hold onto those or we can keep them here in an ammo box for you." He felt his cheeks rise a few degrees in temperature with a sudden rush of feeling. He hadn't expected that, but he was geniunely very happy that he had been able to offer Eliana that type of gift. Maybe he would do more in the future, if a little selfishly.

And then the lesson began as Carmen worriedly insisted to have the rules repeated back to her. Almost like a computer or a public announcement, but with a tad bit of playful sarcasm, Ellie quickly sped through everything that was explained to her from both Carmen and Benny, “Point the gun toward the floor at all times. It doesn’t matter if it’s on safety or not, loaded or not: Gun. Floor. All times. Unless I’m aiming to use it, but until then, we don’t need someone dying while I’m here since guns are figuratively always loaded.” She paused to catch her breath and then allowed herself to continue, “The pistol should not be turned sideways, and when I am aiming at a target, I should hold it with both hands, feet spread apart. Once I’m ready to make my move, I can take safety off, but up until that very moment, it stays on and my lovely finger avoids that trigger. And if I were wearing pants, I know better than to use it as a means to hold my gun.” Taking a moment to look at her colleagues, Ellie gave a smug grin as she held tightly onto the pistol, “I got everything?” She batted her eyes ‘innocently’.

Once Eliana repeated those safety instructions back to her, Carmen put her free hand up with a smirk. "Woah there with the sass, girl! Sorry to go all Dora The Explorer on your ass but that shit's dangerous." She said, gesturing to the P22 that was in her hand. "Can't take any chances, you know? Here..." Cautiously, the older woman handed Ellie the gun.

It was difficult for Benny to tell whether Eliana's confidence was about to be a boon or a bane. She did recite those instructions very well, so all of the information seemed to have arrived at the right place in her head to be applied. "To me you sound like an expert already Eliana. Now you can relax and let Carmen pose you like an action figure... Yeah. Perrrfect." Benny made a square with his thumbs and index fingers, taking in the profile of shooting-mode Eliana from the side.

"...stand nice and firm..." Carmen added as she helped Eliana get into firing position.

Once that was all said and done, she let Carmen put her in the position she needed to get in, with Eliana slightly making it better. Due to her orderly nature, Ellie was the type of girl who would get everything right the first time. She would not even aim the gun until she felt like her posture and stance was on par. Once she was satisfied with her well formed standard handgun shooter pose, she got ready to finally take action, “No need for further assistance. I got it."

Carmen stepped back. "Alrighty then, Rogue One, if you say so." She said, folding her arms and keeping her eye on Eliana closely.

Ellie's stare focused on one of the cans that her short-term mentor directed her attention to. Her hands were firmly on the gun, her feet were apart, and she did exactly what she was told to do. Since this was her first target, the distance between her and the can wasn't that overwhelmingly, but as her gaze pinpointed the target, she couldn't help but notice a mannequin not too far away. Perhaps, she would shoot at that once she hit the can. It seemed far more exciting to destroy a dummy versus her current subject. The world went quiet, with only the whistle of the air to fill their surroundings. Taking aim, narrowing her gaze to only notice the can, everything else blurring out, Eliana inhaled in and turned the safety off. Her kid-like joy was leaping on the inside but her face was calm, cool, and collected. She was ready. Taking a deep exhale out, she rested her finger on the trigger, and without further ado, Ellie pulled it and a bullet went racing out.

*Ping!* The bullet went straight for the can. It was slightly off, since the freshman girl didn't have the best aim, but it still was capable of making the can fly.

Not waiting for Carmen or Benny's critiques, she turned her gun toward the manly mannequin. Her eyes burning with fire, while she bit her lip in concentration. If one was staring at something they absolutely loathed, that would be Ellie as she imagined a man that got her so riled up that she replaced her target with his physique. She was staring at the devil himself. Silence was no longer existent when all one could hear in this general area was: *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*. In this situation, the poor mannequin was getting butchered and could not be saved by the wrath of Eliana Lovelace. She tried to aim for the center of it's head but hit it's chin, next went for it's shoulder but she hit it's stomach, then followed it's nether area but straight to the thigh the metal went. Eight bullet holes pierced the object. When she got to the last bullet, she aimed for the victim's heart. Her hands steadied and her eyes gave a deathly glare. Pushing on the trigger one last time, Ellie studied the man's chest, hoping her bullet would go where she wanted it to go. A small smirk slipped on her face as her last bullet went right through the mannequin's chest. Oh how she felt victorious!

It was very noticeable to Benny the way Eliana's eyes narrowed and her jaw tightened as she looked down range, preparing to fire on the male target. Breezy wind hit him full on while the eight shots were unleashed, tossing his trenchcoat up in a dramatic fashion. It was as if the weather knew what the moment indicated... This Eliana harbored a strong resentment for someone. A man, obviously by the looks of things. A resentment enough to wish his body a bit less intact. Now, was this information useful to her dear evil influence? Yes. Yes it was. He knew that when those eyes of hers alighted on whomever was the focus of her fury, he would see that expression again, maybe more knowing the mechanics of her power. Benny stared at the bullet holes briefly with raised brows, noting that Eliana had good accuracy for someone clearly fueled by the red fire of anger. "How did that feel, are your wrists all right Eliana?" Benny looked over Eliana's hands a little concerned.

"Yeah... I'm fine. It was refreshing, I guess." The weapon was taken away by Carmen while Ellie moved her wrists around. Her anger dissipated.

Carmen, on the other hand, felt a little different about all of this. Jeezus fuckin' christmas SHIT! She thought to herself, hiding her true expression of terror for just a few moments. She didn't say a word, even as the slide was locked back on the P22. She looked to Benny for just a moment before closing her mouth and walking over to Ellie, gently removing the gun from her hands. "Alright... I think that's enough shooting for one day..." Carmen said awkwardly, storing the gun away. "... is anyone hungry? You look like you could use some Cool Ranch Doritos®!" She chuckled nervously. After a little, she looked to Eliana and sighed. "... do you feel better now?" She asked. "I honestly hope that was cathartic for you... don't want you to go all Sandy Hook up in this motherfucker." She said.

By now Eliana had finished taking off the shooting equipment and fully supported the notion of grabbing a snack (even though she may have forgotten to answer that question). Like a second nature to her, Ellie grabbed ahold of her hair and braided it, listening attentively to Carmen's concerns and not showing any reactions to her jokes, "Mmhm. It felt nice... I needed that." Once her hair was braided, she undid it, having only messed around with it as habit, "Either way, thank you. Both of you."

Benny nodded a little solemnly. "You're welcome." He absent mindedly made sure his hat was secure on his head, the ominous gusts wouldn't let up. His thoughts projected ahead in time, to when they would arrive at Mayweather.

"Well... alright, good. No problem." Carmen nodded, taking some of the shooting equipment and the weapons back to the Mustang. Once she walked there, she looked back to Eliana. "You scare the shit out me sometimes, you know that?" She sighed, shaking her head. "Whatever helps you sort your shit out, homegirl. C'mon, there's a backseat here."

He was already so curious as to what could and would happen this year at school. "I could still go for the nice grease coated food with a malt beside it. I would also really enjoy being somewhere with cliffs right now. I guess I could walk up for a bit anywhere though, so let's pick wherever."

She turned to Benny, who mentioned the cliffs. "Yeah we'll head to the gas station, eat there for a bit, and we'll head back to Mayweather. We can go to the cliffs another time though."

Dream Catcher observed the two and gave a simple reply: a soft, yet devious, smirk. Not saying anymore words, she went toward the car. Her bed sounded lovely right about now.

Gas Station, quite a few miles north of Mayweather campus
15 minutes later

It was a nice drive through the countryside of Upstate New York, Hudson Valley being a mighty beautiful place to drive through, especially in a Mustang such as that of Carmen's. The Cobra was always a vicious snake of a car, a rapid vehicle that moved fast at a moments notice, and striked fast with an acceleration of 4 seconds in 0-60 MPH. Carmen never wasted any time touting about her car on the way down to the gas station, all while listening to some more soothing tunes on the ride there. Once they arrived, Carmen wasted no time in parking at a comfortable, remote place before getting out to get the snacks for everyone.

Before Ellie had a chance to give Carmen money, she watched her acquaintance march inside the gas station. Her father owned a British global hospitality corporation that managed and franchised a wide portfolio of hotels and resorts. To rely on someone to provide something that she could easily afford was a rather selfish thing to do. Unlike most wealthy individuals that Eliana knew, she liked holding hard cash. Not fond of the idea of constantly swiping a card and being desensitized from her spending habits, the heiress of Millennium slid her hand into her purse and pulled out her wallet, taking out a ten dollar bill. She would hold onto it until she was given a chance to give it to Benny's friend.

Carmen, being the one with the most cash (or so she thought, since Eliana was wealthy and Benny had infinite money), was the one who took up the duty for buying snacks for everyone. While Carmen got herself a big ol' bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, a bottle of Orange Gatorade and a big bag of Skittles, she also got Benny some limited edition ranch-flavored Funyuns and Eliana some oven-baked Sun chips, along with some Malts and bottled water for both Benny and Eliana respectively.

"So..." Carmen broke the ice while they strolled back to the car. "... what's popping, Ellie? What are your awesome powers?" She asked with somewhat of a genuine smile, wanting to get to know her (and hopefully befriend her).

Benny walked in pace with Eliana, not quite keeping up with Carmen's boisterous step. He looked her over, causing their eyes to meet momentarily. She seemed more confused with how to address Carmen's inquiry than interested in having emotion-ridden eye contact with him. He had been hungering for some more of that since the range, having been in small part stunned shortly after her entrance. She smelled... Oh my god. She smelled sort of like a vanilla cake. This had to be the most villainous and manipulative sensation Benny had ever experienced. That... scent. Too... Alluring... Overpowering... Senses... "I think Ellie has way too many awesome powers to count. Isn't that right, Carrots?" Thank the lord I have a swift tongue, thought Benny, in that moment.

Carmen's slang would be something Eliana definitely had to get use to. My powers? she thought to herself. That was a loaded question. Oblivious through and through, she didn't think anything of the eye contact she made with Benny. Instead, she thought deeper into the question that was asked, until his voice cut in, having yet another nickname for her. Shrugging to Benny's comment, Ellie vaguely answered Carmen, "The simple version of my powers. I'm an illusionist. I trick the mind on believing a reality I create."

Before Ellie could continue answering, they entered the car. The track changed to something a little more low key and laid back, appropriate for the time being, now that they could relax and eat their snacks. She paused and wondered if her explanation seemed a lot more intimidating than she intended it to be, "As scary as that sounds... I try not to abuse my powers, only using them as means to protect myself and others." She decided to end the focus on her and turn the question around, "I have yet to see you in action, Carmen. What are you capable of?" While she asked the question, the pale skinned girl leaned forward and placed the ten dollar bill on the car console, "Keep it. That's for gas and the snacks. I won't accept it back." Leaving the money behind, obviously stubborn as a mule, she rested her back against her seat and drank some of her water.

Leaning back in her seat, having handed the snacks out to everyone after they all entered the car, Carmen looked to Eliana before taking a few sips of her sports drink. Hearing that Eliana was an illusionist, Carmen nodded softly. "Yeah... I could use some of that in my life. I've seen too much of the truth these days... so much hate, oppression and... suffering.." She sighed softly, looking off into the distant skies, seeing the clouds. Once Eliana fully explained herself, however, she nodded and smiled. "Well... it's kinda nice to know that you aren't using it wontonly either." She said with a chuckle, and before she could ask any follow-up questions, she was given one herself. "Hm? Oh, I have the abilitiy to like.... slow time for myself to almost extreme levels, allowing me to drive like an action movie star in thick traffic without even scratching my car, to place insanely accurate shots on my targets and to dodge blows and throw my own in a fight. This power is what most people call Fast Reflexes, but I prefer to call it Reflex Driving, Reflex Shooting and Reflex Fighting respectively. May sound boring and stupid at first, as it's not as flashy as being able to Fly or be Invincible. This does allow me to get fatal headshots with every bullet I fire, make me a serious bitch to fight in hand-to-hand combat, make me quite an amazing race car and getaway driver, allow me to apply good and real first aid to people, and allow me to win timed contests. In other words, it allows me to react to things fast than any human being could." She grinned lightly. "I'm pretty sure Benny can vouch for me on this one." She said before digging into her Doritos and eating quite a few. Seeing the ten dollar bill slapped on the middle console, however, she looked at it. "Oh shit, well... thanks. You didn't have to do that." She said with a soft and genuine smile, taking the money and pocketing it.

With a raised brow, Eliana opened her sun chips bag and conscientiously listened to Carmen. Always one to take in the information around her, never one to provide unless necessary. Lightly, she muttered, "Fast reflexes, hm." Before she grabbed a chip, she gleefully joked, "I'd love to see you and Jess go at it in the Control Room. Pure strength vs. Reflexes of the gods. That would be one hell of a battle to see." With a light, almost cutesy giggle, while she thought about her friend, she simpered, "We all can agree that you two are some of the more badass women on campus." Subsequently, the younger woman grabbed a chip and took a small bite, trying to not be terribly loud. By minor observation, one can tell that Ellie was brought up to be a lady (even if this morning with a certain someone, her 'lady-side' got kicked out the door).

"Oh, Jess? Superwoman? I think she'll turn my bones into dust!" She laughed. "I'm not gonna bother messing with her but I'm pretty sure that even if I try to punch her, I'll probably break my fists." She chuckled a little before taking out a few chips, crunching down on them and licking her Dorito fingers clean of salt and flavor residue from the chips. "But yeah... I can see why that would be the Battle of the Century." She said with an amused grin. "And... it's pretty cool to know that I'm the second most badass female in the school. Not bad for a new kid unfamiliar with all of this if you ask me." She said before finishing the rest of her chips, wiping away the Cool Ranch flavored filth from her fingers before tossing all of her trash in a small plastic Kroger bag. "Throw all of your trash in here... You can hand your trash to me, Ellie, if you can't reach it from there."

Benny speculated a little about whether Carmen or Jessica Sterling would win a skirmish in the control room. From what he knew about Sterling's power, she was very strong and also durable. He had no idea what sort of firepower it could take to hurt her. "Maybe I could take on Jessica, if Kryptonite works on her..." Benny thought back to the last time he had used his acquisition to retrieve a volatile substance, and realized he didn't have anywhere to leave behind even a contained radioactive substance like Kryptonite besides Carmen's car... So he didn't take any out of his coat to demonstrate. "I would show you that right now, but it's fairly dangerous... Those guys in the comics holding it in their hand is such a joke." Benny crunched on his Funyuns exuberantly, making a small uproar with each bite, but not chewing loudly afterward. He also drank the malt through two straws at once dutifully, polishing it off rather rapidly. He was far overdue for a semi-compulsion fueled eating session. "I love this malt flavor... Thanks for picking that up." It was, of course, a vanilla malt he was suckling at.

"Oh, no problem! Anything for my homeboy." Carmen said with a smile, going in to fist-bump Benny. "I seriously doubt that miss Sterling's from Krypton... and I doubt Krypton exists in the first place... though with freaking people with all kinds of crazy powers here I guess anything's possible at this point." She shrugged. "The only explanation I got for my own powers was that it was a gift from God or some other cosmic shit like that, granted to me in order to bring order to this chaotic world or some shit." She sighed. "I don't know... I'm still trying to figure it out as I go along, really. Either way, I'd rather not find out what it takes to beat Superwoman. Again, I don't want her to pound me into a bloody pulp in order to find out." She said with a soft chuckle.

Dream Catcher kept to herself as the other two discussed whether or not they could take down Jessica. She took this time to close her chip bag and use one of her hair clips attached to her bag to fasten it closed. Placing it in her purse, Ellie wondered why people, including herself, were rather critical on themselves to the point that they would let their thoughts hold them down because the odds seemed against them. Even 'Superwoman' has her weaknesses. There was a brief moment of silence where Ellie could let her voice chime into the conversation. Clearing her throat, she encouraged, "You both should give yourselves more credit." Her gaze went to the window to watch a stranger walk by, "In my opinion, it doesn't matter what kind of power you have. As long as you know how to use it and you take the time to understand your opponent and your surroundings, there's always a chance you can win."

Carmen looked into the rearview mirror, seeing Ellie. "Well... thanks, that's actually a little helpful." She said with a gentle smile, and a little blush. She looked ahead, back onto the road. "C'mon, let's go home before I start having suicidal thoughts." She half-joked, starting the Cobra and putting it into gear. "Alright, buckle up so the state troopers don't get us." She said with a smile, soon driving out from the parking lot of the gas station and out onto the wide open road, heading back home to the Mayweather Campus.

Party begins: @ 8 (Current time, 7:30 PM)
Hostesses: Samantha Youngblood & Avalon Middleton
Who's invited: Mayweather students, only. Sorry Delphina, not really.

Did you honestly think we'd make this easy for you, villains? Don't think us to be dumb. Sam has been here long enough to know word goes around fast. Meet the Dewey brothers, Vice President of Student Council, Lou, and his Junior brother, Jay, who fancies math and numbers. They will be patrolling the top floor of Mayweather Old East, since the party will be held on that specific roof. Before anyone gets to Senior Journalist extraordinaire, Danny Leoni, head editor of Mayweather Daily, who will be at the door with a grand guest list, you'll have to go through them. As much as these three men do not look intimidating, think again. The Dewey Brothers have gained a reputation for being one of the best duos this school has to offer. "Stasis" (FC: Zac Efron) has the ability to hold someone by simply pointing his finger. The time a person will be frozen in position varies depending on their body type and willpower. The stronger your mind and the bigger your body is, the shorter you will be stuck in a pose that he left you in. This gives his younger brother, "Chaos Theory" (FC: Dave Franco), time to touch said person and send them through a wormhole to a destination within ten miles. Put these two together and you have the perfect bouncers. Then you have the apathetic hero known as "The Unswayed" (FC: Ezra Miller). His mind is completely filled with white noise which makes it impossible for any mind manipulators to have their way with him. Along with that, he can extend his ability to fill an area of his choosing with the same white noise that is in his head. As long as he's on this floor, no one, not the Dewey Brothers, the guests, or the uninvited, can be influenced by people like Klaus and Gianna. All three of them will have bluetooth walkie-talkies that signal the DJ upstairs if they come across problems. There is surveillance throughout the building, especially in the Hallways, and if a war were to happen or causalities, well that wouldn't look good for you silly Delphinas, now would it? You can be civil or you can be expelled, your choice.

Good luck, guys.

Heroes, heroes! We've been expecting you. Welcome to the best bash of the year! Kidding, we'll throw even better ones in the future. If you think this party is hot, just you wait for the next one. As you can see, the roof entrance, the wall of the bricked building, and the half walls on the roof's ends are decorated with colorful lights galore. We've installed a makeshift dance floor with pillars at each corner so that we could add some shine to the dance zone! Hanging on one of those pillars is a disco ball, while the pillar diagonal from it has a laser light pointing at it to make the dance floor truly shimmer various colors. The dance floor would be straight passed the entrance, practically in the center, with a big booth for DJ Pearl Bailey (FC: Charli XCX) on the left side and two tables with finger food and drinks on the right side (The fruit punch is spiked and there are coolers under the table with extra beverages). The DJ's actual name is Bailey Young, she's a sophomore at Mayweather, who goes by the alias: Banshee. If her alias didn't give away her abilities enough, just get her angry. If you make her screech, she will pop your eardrums or worse, make them bleed. By each corner of the roof, there are torches in flower pots to signal students the end of the roof. Don't be stupid and tumble off the building. Please. There is an area behind the food to sit (tables and chairs reference) and chat with your fellow colleagues. If there are no more patio seats, take a seat on the half wall, but please be careful. (The color scheme is overall bright)

Now that everything is explained, have a great time! And remember, no Villains allowed!

Party Look

Previously that same day...
I-I can't believe this is a thing right now. For a long moment, Eliana Lovelace stood under her archway of her dorm door, completely bewildered at the sight she was seeing. Let's just say she was stunned for a round.

Once Carmen parked her car the three of them split to do their own thing. Ellie went back to the place she left Lucas to retrieve the damaged novel she had forgotten, relieved she didn't bump into anyone during that time. The good experience she had at the shooting range was kicked out the door when she opened her own door. How should she feel? Her dark turquoise comforter, white sheets, and pillow cases were impressively twisted into a knot and laying at the center of her room on the carpet. When she walked to her desk chair and tested it to see if it was safe, it collapsed to the floor. How should she feel? The only outfits left in her closet was four short dresses that weren't her favorite because of the length, but it would be rude to throw away a graduation gift from her aunt. Odd, that those were the only dresses that survived. Ellie had promised her Aunt she would find an occasion to wear them this year, I guess that's sooner rather than later. How should she feel? On top of her clothes spelling 'Courtesy of Delphina Academy' on the wall, her undergarments were hanging like fucking banners and lights, as if they were decorations on display.

Her door was closed now as she stood in the center of the room, pushing her bedding to the side with her foot. Head completely spinning. Heart picking up in speed. No words could escape her lips.

Suddenly, alarms set off in her. Oh no, no, no, no... fuck, fuck. Her dresser was in parts, in the corner of the room. Shaking. Her hands were shaking. Her legs were shaking. Her body was shaking. My journal... my... Ellie was no longer in a state of being stupefied. No. She was on the verge of doing something irrational and deadly. If she was going to cry, it would only be because of how uncontrollably angry she felt. Her journal was the only thing she could be completely honest to. Sure, she had friends to talk to but there's only so much she could share with them.

Yet the words I can't believe he would do this never crossed her mind. Actually, this was in his nature, she should have been more prepared. Fuck my life.

Digging into her purse and taking out her phone, she went to Jess' number. Nearly hyperventilating, she called her friend but went straight to voicemail. Trying to keep her breathing steady, Ellie muttered, "If I asked you to help me hurt someone, would you? Jess, I need you... asap. I-I don't know what I may do to him, but I... I need you. Oh god, I need to calm down. I'm freaking out. And the thing is, it wasn't just him. He couldn't have done this by himself. But I do know this was his idea... I'm going to fucking kill him."

As she hung up, her head turned to the knocking on her door. Dropping her things on the comforter on the floor, she shuffled her way to the door and cracked it open, not saying a word. Staring at Bailey, her poisonous stare filled with anger untold, she quietly listened to the other girl.

"Woah, babe. Rough day?" Bailey paused for a second and realized she wasn't going to get a word out of Ellie right now, "I'll just make this quick then... party tonight on the roof. You're invited... You probably could use it." The DJ didn't allow her eyes to venture inside, even if she was curious. Instead, Bailey said her goodbyes and awkwardly left to inform other Heroes about the party.

Closing the door, Ellie turned around, and slid her back on it until her bottom was nicely rested on the ground. Burying her face as she hugged her knees, she mumbled, "I need to call Jenna..." She'd have to remember to ask her sister to send her some of her extra clothes. Fixing this mess up wouldn't be easy alone. There was always the option of telling the authorities or hiring someone to help her, but Ellie did not want her mother to know about any of this and she didn't want to use her money for something that could be done by her own hands.

7:30 PM
Jess had called her back near immediately and they discussed plans. They did have a task they wanted to achieve before they attended the party. Looking into her body mirror, her room a little better, but still a fucking disaster, she looked at her tiny black dress holding the ends of it, "You're too short..." Even with stockings on, Ellie felt a bit awkward. Her dress was elegant, yes, but the length was just asking for her to get attention. Granted, she was not as bad as other girls at this school. Most people would say she looked sophisticated. Perhaps, it was the roller coaster of emotions that was making her paranoid. I think I will drink tonight...

Not wanting to be in her room anymore, she exited it and went to Mayweather Old West to Jessica's bedroom to see if she was ready. Ellie ignored all those that stared at her, making her aura unpleasant to look at as her heels clicked on the ground.

Reaching Jess' door, Dream Catcher, who was ready for a night to forget (make up and all), lightly hit the door with her knuckles. *Knock* *Knock*. While waiting, she grabbed her right arm with her left hand and silently kept to herself.

Party Crashing Look

After that crazy ride Gianna Daniels just had with the new kid, she decided to go to her bedroom on the third floor of Mayweather Old West and lay down. Before she got to her bedroom, a little birdie Mayweather freshman gestured for her to go into his room. He ended up telling her that there was a "MAYWEATHER ONLY" party happening on the roof of Old East. Oh, that just won't do. Rewarding the kid with a gentle kiss on the cheek, she dismissed herself and strolled into Old West. While she walked, Gia had texted Brenna informing her that she was fine, but that she needed to rest (and would tell her more later). Right after that, she sent a mass text to all the Delphinas she had the numbers of. For once, her text was not in shorthand.

To: Like-minded souls.

Guess what I found out, babes. Party tonight and we're not invited! Wouldn't you think the staff would be so upset that our fellow Mayweathers are excluding us in their activities? I think we should fix that. If you guys don't know about the Dewey Brothers and Danny Leoni, I advice you to do your research. I hope to see you there<3. P.S. The more the merrier ;)

Spending the rest of her day contemplating the occurrence with Minako, a conversation that was bound to happen today with Lucas, and the best outfit to wear at the party, she would like to think her day was wonderfully eventful. Gia wasn't completely alone since she kept her door open for visitors to come and go as they pleased, regardless if she was taking her top off and trying on a dress or not. Plus, she could hear the sound of conversations going on in the nearby pool room. The presence of others was some sort of comfort for Psyche. The one thing she was especially excited for tonight was playing matchmaker. Maybe she could stick cupid's arrows in two people who would NEVER work out. That would be laughable, but definitely worth the watch.

Oh, and don't think her and her babies weren't going to make a grand entrance. Luckily for Spiderman, he could swing onto the roof or climb the dorm building, but if Gia needed to, she could find someone to get her there without the stress of going through the bouncers. However, it sounded more delightful to talk her way through this challenge. How did she know about it? Danny Leoni and the Dewey Brothers would do anything for Sam. It also helps Gia has Little Birdies throughout both schools that share with her: whispers. Woo people with words and you can get what you want. Those three were college kids - do you really think they want to guard the door all night? It must be sad that they were put on duty while everyone else had the time of their lives. The brothers would be fairly easy, more so Lou than Jay, but Danny was more of the challenge since he resisted her power like nobody else.

Gia would have to make sure her puppy had a leash and a muzzle on. There was no need for him to make irrational moves that would cause Chaos Theory to send him miles away. The art of persuasion, without the use of powers, was definitely something heroes and villains alike should learn to do.
~

With her hair straitened, her eye makeup done, and her body ready to be ravished, Gia was set to get her party on and make an everlasting impression for those who didn't know her. Now, all she needed to do was wait for her pup, since they had set up a short meeting to "talk" at 7:30 PM, right before the party. He would be here any minute now. After applying nude lipstick on, she kissed the LED beauty mirror on her dresser. Frisky, feisty, and ready to marry the night!

While she waited for Lucas to make his entrance, hopefully closing her door on his way in, she played Dilemma by Nelly ft Kelly Rowland and went to her closet where she hid a decent stash of alcohol. Taking two shot glasses and her Bacardi 151 out, Gia danced her way to her desk (right in front of the entrance door on the other end of the room, by the window), while she swayed her body, hips, and plump bottom to some classic R&B jams. Placing the shot glasses away from her laptop and on the wooden surface, the she-wolf poured the alcoholic liquid to the top of each glass. Sammy, Sammy, Sam, you should know better than to think I'd let you have this night to yourself. As much as Gia wanted to start drinking, it was better with someone else, especially someone she actually cared about. When Lucas entered, he would definitely get a nice look of the back of her fine, fit form as she let the music rock it. Pure and utter bliss. Tonight was going to be great.

"Okay, now open your eyes," Avalon said, looking at Will who was currently seated on her mattress, eyes closed. The room still hadn't been put back together, a fact that made Avalon furious, but she was willing to wait the last four and a half hours to see if they pulled through. She doubted they would, but she could plan a prank war another day. Tonight was supposed to be fun. Will opened his eyes to see Avalon standing, hands on her hips in a short, black and red dress, paired with a pair of scarlet heels. "Yay or nay? she asked her friend, turning around to check herself out in the mirror. Will, his eyebrows raised, couldn't help but smirk. "It looks great. Now can we go?" he asked, standing up as if he'd already decided to leave.

Avalon let out a sigh. "You are the worst guy friend ever, you know that? I should've replaced you forever ago," she said, smacking him on the shoulder but following him out of her dorm room none the less, purse in hand. Will gave out a hearty laugh at that. "You'd be a mess without me and you know it," he retorted. He slowed his walk as the Dewey brothers came up to the duo, earning a grin from Avalon.

The redhead walked up to the two, planting a kiss on both of their cheeks. "You guys are the best for doing this! You guys know what to do. Send any Delphina packing, and if you're not sure about them, Danny has the list." "No problem, Ava," Lou said, before turning to Will. "Hey, I don't suppose you and Sam are like, a thing are you. I mean, it's cool if you are, I'm just wondering," the senior asked, sending blood rushing to Will's cheeks. Both brothers were now staring the sophomore down, intently awaiting his answer.

"I, well I don't really think that's any-" Before he could finish, Avalon was dragging him away. "Hey, what the hell? I was offering up a witty retort!" he exclaimed, a confused and slightly perturbed look on his face. Avalon shook her head and rolled her eyes. "How the hell did you not know about the Deweys and their insane crush on Sam? That's the only reason their acting as Bouncers for the night! Dumb ass!" she said, before dragging him forward, and past Danny without a word in the senior's direction.

Will was still in a bit of shock as Avalon went around the rooftop, checking to make sure everything was ready for the steady stream of heroes that was about to arrive. Were he and Sam a thing? He wasn't too sure about that. It wasn't that he was afraid of being in a relationship. He'd been in plenty while he lived in Willow Creek, it was just that he'd never expected it to happen. He shook his head, laughing at his unnecessary overthinking of the situation and went over to the drink table where he cracked open a beer and took a sip. Avalon came over to stand next to him and grinned. "And now, we wait," she said as Bailey began to test her equipment. The first real bash of the year was here.
