Hmm. Tough one. I'd really need to see the character sheet before being able to tell if it was a good fit or not. As for guidelines we'd be looking at someone who can transform into one alternate form when under the influence of neon--muscle growth and such would need to stay within reason for standard street-level super powers, and it would be one of the powers like Dante's that would only have a full powered mode (so only about 5 min per pill). If you need a rough estimate for capability's sake, I'd say a grizzly bear might be a decent benchmark (plus or minus some bits).

Alright, so the general rules for this rp are 'street level'. At least at the beginning, characters should expect that, while on Neon, they can handle street level combat problems (muggers up through organized crime) with relative ease. Strong guys can flip cars, fast guys move fast enough that they eye can't cleanly track them, tough guys can shrug off small arms fire, etc.

The next tier up is functionally 'military', in that a character on neon should be challenged by an organized military response. If for whatever reason the army cracked down, it would be significant--not impossible to deal with, but significant in that it would actually require people to fight with things like 'intelligent tactics' and 'likely injury' and such. So far, everyone has done a great job measuring their powers to the situation--and certainly people's powers will expand! But for right now that's kind of the best functional estimate I can give you.

BTW does anyone want to make a playlist for this RP? Like on YouTube or something? I have tried but am Youtube challenged. But there's been some great music integration already (I'm looking at you, Reign, and no I can't spell your UN. @R31GN). And I've got a queue of songs myself, I'm sure others do as well. I could keep an up-to-date running list under the characters tab or something (if ppl want to send me their song suggestions) but it'd be better if it was an actually listen-able playlist. Let me know your thoughts.

As a personal note, would speed or senses be better choice on power-set? Gameplay and just... Aesthetically I suppose. I can make either work, just stuck for now.

@Architect Its all a matter of personal preference, overt vs subtle. I prefer speed because I like physical manifestations of power, and who doesn't want to be the Flash from time to time? I certainly do when I'm late to work.

The power of senses are a lot more vague and can give him almost a sense of premonition gameplay wise- he can feel the vibrations of someone about to strike him, or detect the pheromones of someone who is about to react positively/negatively to him

Yeah, I've fleshed out both in my head already, and they could be hella useful. Senses would be more about tracking, countering, scouting, etc, speed would be more aggressive, running for the crew, all that shit.

Yeah I didn't take the cone as visual, I just piggybacked your description to help it make sense to me, my character's spacial relation to it, etc.

@Architect Vietmyke makes some good points. I find that anything premonition-y becomes a pain because you have to know more about your surroundings, and it becomes a nightmare if you have to try and anticipate other writers' actions or if you char has metaknowledge you don't have. That said, I definitely see the appeal of the more sensory powers. You probably can't go wrong. They're all fun. ^^

@God There's a bass-boosted version of this song that I decided not to put up because I actually like to hear things sometimes (crazy right?), but I imagine using that with sound amplifying superpowers would've been amazing to witness.

Also, a bit of an irony, K-Ton's character image is a Korean rapper, and his superpowers is amplifying sound/music. I just put two and two together a few minutes ago.
