Ser Llanowaar, Hunter of Unkindled

It didn’t seem long before the warrior’s attention turned back to the immediate vicinity; due most in part that the Wyvern had crossed beyond their capabilities to fight. But instead of turning his blade onto his Unkindled adversaries, he watched as their surrounding came to life with activity. Rotting, desecrated corpses started raising from their resting places with the cries of horror. The situation was getting dicer by the moment, especially with the number of maddened Hollows that was surrounding the group steadily growing. When one mistakenly stumbled too close, Llanowaar slammed a quick hammer-fist into the creature’s jaw. Causing his opponent to stumble back to its knees, an echoing sound of steel piercing flesh erupted suddenly. With his sword firmly implanted into the monster’s back, he watched as the “life” left its eyes once more.

“These creatures are nothing but pawns… Mi’lady would be disappointed if her Champion were to fall to the likes of these.” Llanowaar told himself below breath, removing his sword from his enemy simultaneously.

Without lifting his head, he spun lightly on his toes towards his right with both hands gripped on “Requiem.” This movement would cause two of the nearest monsters to fly back and onto their stomachs, sending their shrieks of pain through the air. Coming to a stop, he slammed his sword into one’s back and his heel to the back of the other’s head. As the blood splatter spewed all over, he looked up to his Unkindled foes who hadn’t taken in the situation currently. Though he could use this to his advantage to take out one or two, he needed their “assistance” with their current predicament. Simply too many of their common dangers were appearing in number. And if they didn’t help one another quickly, all would be decimated. Swinging to his left and cutting down another creature, Llanowaar turned to his “temporary” allies and motioned for them to assist him in clearing a way out of their troubles. Beforehand, they were told to make haste to the Wall the man-in-the-tree spoke of; which would offer a strategical advantage against a horde of these monsters. Hopefully, his mistress would overlook this brief alliance so he could complete his task at a later time.

~Alianor, Knight of Silver~

well, at least they didn't have to deal with that Wyvern. It passed them overhead, a gust of wind kicking up the foul smelling muck of the swamp. However, the smell was the least of her problems. When the bell shattered, it seemed to make some undead quite angry. Groans and moans of the vile hollowed rose from the swamp, clamoring towards solid land out of the muck. She frowned under her helmet, gripping her spear tightly and taking a fighting stance. Well, she supposed she'd have to dust off her fighting skills then.

She stabbed the spear forwards, impaling one undead on the end of it. The thing flailed, groaning as it let out a last breath before she slung the spear to the side, sending it flying off and slamming into three other undead who were knocked to the ground. Quickly, she brought her spear forward again in a horizontal arc, cutting deeply into the rotten flesh of several undead, stunning them. Without waiting another second, she drove the spear forwards again, impaling the neck of one undead on it.

One tried to sneak up on her from behind, but she was aware of its presence. She side stepped to the left. The clumsy, slow creature stumbling forwards in the process, giving her ample time to bring her spear down right on its head.

"For a welcoming party, these guys aren't the banquet I was hoping for." She chuckled lightly, as she took just a moment to catch her breath.

Melissa bounced around giddily, her skirt flailing everywhere, as a bunch of undead rose from the ground. "Oh, how fun! Something to burn! Not much to be gained from them, though, but still fun!

She dashed towards the closest ones to her, grabbing the heads of two of them and proceeded to burn their heads, or at least what was left of them, with Sacred Flames. With the last flame of the twin spells, she kicked them both into other Undead around her, also which quickly also caught then on fire. Melissa then proceeded to fire Flame Surges from both hands as she waved her arms around, catching more and more of them aflame. All the while she was laughing slightly maniacally, which still held an enchanting, musical tone.

Ser Llanowaar's strength and sheer combat force was over the top compared to the almost helpless undead that he slaughtered, creating a devastating field of death wherever he struck. The Undead barely withstood his onslaught, befallen to his blade in moments after their rise.

@Rune_Alchemist
Alianor's fight was swift and cunning, her blade striking fast and precise. In comparison to Ser Llanowaar, she was maneuvering faster, though she fought the Undead one after another, rather than reaping through them. In any case, she was as powerful on the battlefield as the other swordsman, a formidable and allpowerful foe against the slow victims of the curse.

@Ezmeralda
Fire blazing, Melissa reaped through the Undead, calling forth a power that is well feared by even the most simpleminded of people. Even some Undead seem to show enough memory or sanity to understand that her powers are untouchable for the moment, some Undead trying to attempt escape from her, clawing their way through the mud.

---

All in all, it was a quick bloodshed, the horde of Undead decimated quickly. There were still some Undead crawling about that seemed to pay no attention to the group or their battling, mindlessly crawling in random directions until further approached or stumbling too close to the people.

In the distance a flick of flame appeared, revealing a tower in the distance that lit up. Through the muddy area, no other landmark can be seen. To the back, the bonfire, to the sides rotten trees and mud, to the front a tower.

Gregor stands and steps away from the bonfire, finally noticing the carnage and firestorms in the swamp. He hefts his mighty shield and sword forgetting his helm sitting by the tree. He strides out into the swamp to meet up with the small group of fighters several times he crushed hollowed underfoot but payed them no mind. One hollow that was laying in wait beneath the fetid water of the swamp lept out at him, clambering onto him, the hollow trying to bite and claw through his armor with little effect. It took several moments and a great deal of growling and frenzied motion to draw Gregor's attention. When it finally did he just glanced over at the hollow as though it was little more that a pest. He kept walking and found a sturdy tree and smashed the annoying hollow between the tree and his armored body. after the hollow was little more than a rotten bag of splintered bone he took off towards the group again. The flame in the distance flickered on just as he was within a few steps of the group.

he muttered to himself as he pushed past the group, "The light, into the light... or dont, mmm... once more into the light.. n-nooo... no! I can't remember, hahhahhah." he stomps off past everyone in a straight line towards the beacon in the distance with little regard for the muck.
