Ahh D&D I used to play it often, then my group of friends who also played it either got over it, or moved away, and then, because I have the attention span of a goldfish, I forgot most of the rules, I should form a new group, and y'know re-learn the rules, but as we all know, procrastination makes perfect! (I'm a lazy bastard, ain't I?)

@NachoBachoPacho If you don't have the rulebooks already, I recommend getting into Fifth Edition. My group was running 4E for quite some time, but I've grown to like the current ruleset a lot better.

@RyoRyoRyoken True enough. The Red Hoods and Golden Fleeces haven't even met yet. Dirk's probably not going to be notably enthralled by Same's figure, to be fair, because enslavement weirdness, but maybe he'll at least point it out. And I guess his own figure is probably swamped under lots of clothing at this stage too, so.

Ah, I can't remember if I used 5E or 4E for my previous sessions, but i've recently gotten into less rule heavy systems, and also partially homebrewed systems, its fun, even though because of the obscurity and/or the fact that you have to trust in my capabilities instead of the capabilities of D&D, it doesn't attract the biggest crowd, regardless, I definitely intend to try D&D again soon, i'll probably make a gnome barbarian or an orc bard, just to be 'that guy.'

We've tried branching out to other systems like Double Cross and I picked up a copy of Exalted 3E a while ago (still haven't had a chance to play. Or fully study the massive rulebook), but the pop culture recognition of Dungeons and Dragons is too powerful of a draw for my playgroups to resist.
A gnome barbarian or orc bard could probably be viable choices, if a tad suboptimal. Personally, I'm a fan of (Variant) Humans, Elves and Half-Elves sitting somewhere in the Rogue/Fighter/Ranger spectrum. Then again, I'm also a sucker for multiclassing.

Wondering what to do now, do I fly my butt to the burning town and seek the help of the Red Hoods who he happenes to find, or attempt to fight/shake off Zepp?
