Upon approaching Luther, the most noticeable detail about him is his smell. He seems to always smell of something earthen, whether it be fresh rain, or newly made weather, there is something distinctly natural about his smell, to many people it is neither bad or good, some even find it pleasant. As for his normal attire, you always seemingly find him in something loose fitting, and most of all comfortable, he is not one to flounce his fashion frequently, but it would be hard for one to say that he's not at least stylish with his wardrobe, most of which consists of loose fitting sweaters, a large collection of fabric bracelets, beanies, and worn converses. While he sported dreads during his earlier years at the Academy, he's found that the upkeep is way too laborious for him nowadays, and has now cut off that hair, as if he intends to leave behind the past.

Maybe there is some truth to the teachers who saw him as trouble the moment he strolled through their classroom, maybe his persona is just bound to the harsh impressions he gets from others, but no matter what people may believe about him, one thing is most certainly assured; Luther knows wants he wants, and how he can get it. Most of the time, he seems detached and preoccupied in his own world, only ever paying attention to the details that he deems important, sometimes he may come off to others as a bit standoffish, rude, and hard to approach in general. Some may even mistake his occasional aloofness with stupidity, but they'd would no doubt be wrong about the young man. Beneath the facade of complacency, lies someone who is observant, and cautious towards whom he lends his time to. One can even say the young man is elusive, and a bit of mystery (a quality that has gained him some strange admirers), but there should be no doubt that he is more than he seems.

Outside of this superficial view and if one were to look deeper, Luther can actually be quite friendly, preferably sticking close to small group of friends no larger than the fingers on his hand, but he has a difficult time adopting new friends, as he can only place his trust in so many. Luther is a young man with a strong sense of contemplation, he is always seeking answers, and is quite attuned to people's emotions and behaviors, he tends to notice the smallest changes in people's behavior. Those close to him, seem to think of him as wise beyond is years, as he is always lending his ear towards other's problems, and at the same time, he always seems to have the right type of advice in mind for whomever may need it. The young man is fiercely individualistic and independent, and hates being tied down by others wills, as such his determination usually stretches far beyond the norm when he puts his mind towards something, this quirk has led him into trouble many times, as he tends to put his needs and desires over others when he wills it. That isn't to say that Luther is materialistically selfish per say, but rather that he enjoys personal freedom, and will quickly break away from something or someone that drags him down. He seems to have a good premonition about others when it comes to their intentions, and he tends to hate beating around the bush when it comes to his emotions or impressions of others. Strangely enough, sarcasm can sometimes go over Luther's head, and he is quite easy to rile up should you push all the right buttons.

Unfortunately, when his anger does come out he tends to say things he does not mean, or even push others away for the sake of protecting himself. One should see Luther as someone who may be hard to get to know, but is deeply passionate, and forthcoming about who he is to others. You wouldn't be able to find a more loyal, and dedicated friend than he, as even though he may have few companions, he keeps them as close as he can.

Born to parents who honestly took too long to have a child in the first place, Luther is the child of reformed hippies, who, for the most part, ended up heading the warnings they got from their parents back in their youth. Even if they were forced to adapt to a world who disagree with their virtues, they would be sure to pass on their progressive views to their rambunctious son. Anyone who lived long enough in Beverly Hills has some type of awareness of just who Luther is and what he's about. It is then that they make a decision on whether or not to give him the time of day without realizing that it's usually Luther who sets the rules for who gets close enough to him to be friendly. While he'd rather be classified as a Drifter, it's hard to deny that he's always reveled in his rebellious ventures, his indifference to authority has garnered him a reputation that he uses to his advantage, it's only unfortunate that he sometimes has copycats who are influenced by his apparent unruliness. All in all, most people know Luther, and Luther isn't really all that interested in knowing them.

The other side of Luther is one in which people are not typically aware of, Luther is an activist at heart, someone who will gleefully take to the streets, or tag up some wall, or protest in favor of the oppressed. Even if his grades are nothing to gawk at, Luther is actually quite verbose and articulate when it comes to debate or stating his opinion. His intelligence shines when it comes to the philosophical and political spectrum of education, and he can write quite the compelling essay if given the time. It's just too bad that his fervent pursuits of social justice never translate into putting effort towards improving his social graces.
