A new and unfamiliar person stood next to the entrance for the academy. Standing at around 178cm / 5'10, with a slight slender look. Her eyes just went left, right, up and down. The size of the Academy itself was a sight for sore eyes.

Emilia had taken quite a while to reach the whole area itself, being somewhat surprised it existed in such a location. The worst was that she expected to be somewhat... late. It wouldn't be so bad either if she wasn't 'this' late.
In her mind, being late meant disrespect. And since she wasn't sure how late she, it was quite worrying. But regardless, she took the first steps through to the sheer grandeur of just the main hall. Seeing nobody around for now, she stared at the surroundings in pure awe. The only thing that came out of her mouth was a slight but audible "Wow" as she took her time in inspecting every corner of the hall.

For a minute she was distracted, but quickly realized that the matter at hand should be resolved first. Before anything worse might happen...
But without knowing where to go, she was quite lost. Moving just up the stairs through the middle, she stood up on the floor above with a perplexed expression. "Now where do I go..? This entire place looks like a maze." Pondering, she started counting a bit with her fingers, then just took a flat out random guess and turned to the right hallway. Not having a single shred of an idea of where to go or who to find.
"This is going to be the end of me." One could possibly also hear her slight cursing through the distance.

Emi

Madison said they were both fire students. It was a little hard to notice at first glance but she had some of the traits she knew that fire Elementalist had. She could have been wrong still since she could easily be a water student too but guessing it wasn't a bad thing.

"Oh really? I don't think your attitude is that bad I mean you seem to be quite happy now. The other guy had red hair too. I don't know if that is a coincidence or what hehe. He didn't really look like the friendly type either but it looked like he was friendly towards you just now."

Emi gave the girl a small smile while angling her head a little forward as she shifted her knees. She placed her hands bundled behind her back in the progress. Madison indicated she was gonna walk the way she had been facing before they had entered a conversation and asked Emi if she was headed the same way. Emi made a quick heel turn to face the way Madison was indicating. Emi gave a bright nod at her and let a happy smile on her face.

"I'm just roaming really."

Emi and Madison started walking together to whatever Madison was headed towards. Madison began about some story from yesterday making Emi a little confused to what the girl was talking about really. It was about Vlad once more which made Emi question a little if the girl wanted something to do with his life or that she had done already. Emi mischievously smiled at the girl for a second.

"Eeeh? So what did he do exactly. Set the room on fire or something?"

Emi gave the girl a cheerful smile and minded her steps a little knowing she would trip at some point for not looking after herself.

Yoshino

The short autumn haired girl tilted her head lightly at the first glance of the giant academy. Her eyes were unfazed as ever with a small gap in between both her lips to show that she was at least a little impressed by the whole thing. Her small hands were hanging in front of her belly just like always like she was some sort of T-rex as her feet slowly came to a move. The girl gazed around the area a little to see what kind of interesting things were out there. Students were showing off their skills all around, even some of the elements looked new like she had never seen them before. She didn't think there would actually be people out there that could bend steel or shoot lighting but there were. Was this a thing she could do herself too?

Without a word she continued on with her journey. Her bags had already been brought to her room by a lackey of the house she used to live in. That they would do that even after Yoshino had clearly shown that she didn't like them at all. Yoshino walked on into one of the buildings thinking it was the dorms were her room was suppose to be. After a mere 5 meters her head already started spinning. Multiple cross hallways and all different kind of doors that lead to a new place. At first she took it step by step but after a while she started to question on where she was going or where she was in the first place. Her pace quickened after a while of having been inside the building and not having found an exit yet. At some point she ran through the place with her hands dangling a little to the side of her trying to find an exit.

Just a little before a crossing hallway she tripped over her own foot launching herself into the air. Her arms stretched out forward as her speed maintained. A loud thud sounded through the hallway as the body of Yoshino landed on the ground. She slid a small distance further with her body stretched out ending on the crossing between the hallways. Her bottom legs fell down on the ground as her movement had completely stopped. For a moment it looked like she was dead but only by the small indication of her lifting her face of the ground and looking forwards proved different. Yoshino blankly stared forwards looking a little bit dazzled by what happened just now. A slight soft monotone voice came out of her mouth.

"Ohh... I tripped..."

Meanwhile she hadn't noticed she was being watched by an individual that had seen the scene happening before their eyes. Shino hadn't moved however still looking bluntly forward probably because her body was still in pain from the fall just now.

@liferusher
A maze like this would probably keep her searching for the right place probably 'till late at night. Her eyes tried to search for any indication of direction but failed to do so for the first few minutes she went around the place. No one was really around to guide her either, so she had to move on her own for quite a while. Passing by room after room, only to find more along the way.

She was alone until someone managed to just plainly appear next to her on the floor. In fact, they tripped on the floor. But she didn't realize that fact until she took a closer look at the posture of the woman. "Did that just happen..?" Her expression was as clueless as the lass that had tripped on the floor. She hadn't displayed any real reaction to the loud thud either, except blatantly staring at the person at hand for a slight few seconds. Emilia took a few steps towards the lass in question until she was right next to her, knees bent forward while she just stared at her with a perplexed expression at first.

"Uhm... are you okay lass?" Her expression while asking this was a bit neutral, but her eyes gave a feeling of sympathy and/or worry. She tried waving her hand in front of her eyes too just to see if she actually noticed her. Actually, her eyes would probably take someones attention first due to them being different in color, instead of both being the same color. "Hello?"
"This day just keeps on getting better and better.", she thought to herself. First she gets lost in the maze that is the whole Academy building, then someone presumably from the school just trips close to her on the floor. The coincidences, while not really connected, felt a bit hilarious. So she couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle as she waited for the person to give any sort of response. "I hope you at least have the energy to get back up, aye?" She offered a hand to her, should she need it.

"I see" Maxim observed the display with some interest "Very good, now you already know you're my only student, but you are also my first Aether student, and I'm going to be honest your form of manipulation seems...strange, not entirely unfamiliar but I feel this will end up being a learning experience for the both of us"

"So" Maxim clapped his hands together "let's start with this: I've never known Aether to have a 'form' I've always known it to be universal, in more ways than one" he held out a hand and a flame sparked in it but that quickly turned into an orb of water, then of dirt, then finally disappearing as a gust of wind to some corner of the room "Now I'd like you to try something like that, try forming aether into a different form. 'earth to fire' if you would"

Madison

"Ha...no, not exactly. We just didn't get along. I mean, the second he set foot in Mr. K's--er, I mean, Mr. Kessinger's office, we clashed. But, hey, it happens to the best of us, right?"

Madison gave Emi a little smile, and continued walking towards class. "How about you, little miss? Do you have any love interests in your class...or in the school, for that matter?" Madison wasn't looking to spread any gossip as she was merely curious. The girl looked just as young as she did, and admittedly, Madison's never been in a serious relationship. A few dates here and there, but nothing more. Maybe it was her young age, or her lack of experience. Or both, honestly.

"I've never had a boyfriend, to tell you the truth, but I do remember my first kiss." At that, Madison couldn't help but blush. Even though it was a quick peck, and nothing more, John was one of the guys she fell for but didn't necessarily got over when he started chasing another girl. Not for a long time, at least.

Eria Grandous

"Umm... Ok I think I can do that?" Eria said as she focused on the Aetheric Particles and they formed the shape in her hand again. She Focused on the fire element particles and tried to change it after the flame was produced around her hand. "Ok so now I just... change it right?" she asked herself under her breath and waved another hand past the flame as part of it turned to stone around her hand before shattering into shards that were so unstable that as soon as they hit a solid object they disintegrated into Aetheric particles again. Eria had held her hand away from her face when It shattered and when she looked back Eria just stared in annoyance, "Argh... That is the tenth time! she yelled as the fire that was left went out.

This had actually happened so many times whenever Eria practiced since she learned about it yesterday, She had even practiced before she went to bed last night. "Sorry Mr. Maxim, I don't think I can do it today" she said and just shoved her hands into her pockets and just tried to control the particles without using her hands though without much success.

~Ruby and Cassie~

Ruby found herself admiring the old beautiful buildings. They reminded her a bit of art nouveau. She bended her knees just enough so her hands found her luggage and stood staight up again. Not sure where she should go she walked around a bit, hoping to find some hints. The feeling of not knowing where to go alone gave an eerie tint to the atmosphere, and as time flied it started getting heavy. Ruby sat on a wooden bench in what seemed to appear as a small square. She'd ask the first person who was to pass from there about where to go next. She took off her short black gloves and rested her head on the wall next to the bench. Soon she fell asleep, such a bad thing to do on the first day with all her belongings next to her.

Cassie walked in the dorms corridor, and looked around, not sure where she should go. She looked on the doors in case she found her name written somewhere, but didn't.
"Where is the organisation." She thought to herself, with a note of irritation. Cassie is not what one would call a patient person.

After waiting for some hour she decided to knock upon a randon door, hoping to get some help on where on earth should she go. When no one answered the door she insisted on knocking, annoyingly.

Day 2, 12:36 PM, Lunchtime

"I think I'll go with Feather too - much easier that way."

Inuit and Norse names were no problem. Icelandic, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, French, no problem. This name sounded like it broke all of the spelling rules that Brunhilde had internalized over the past seventeen years. She tapped the tip of the pen on the page, certain that she had misspelled Saqui's actual name, then crossed out 'Saki' and circled 'Feather'. The borscht had gotten cold by this point, and Brunhilde figured she might as well eat the strange Russian soup sitting in front of her. It tasted rather sour, as expected, but was indeed quite delicious. It was a nice change of pace from the ludicrous quantities of fish, shark, and fermented fish and shark (which, to be fair, only barely qualify as food) that she was used to.

Her left arm caught her attention again. The tendons in the back of her left hand visibly spasmed for the entire time she ate, producing a very dull ache. Something was definitely very wrong - that kind of twitching wasn't the sort of thing that a person could simply ignore, and the notebook made no mention of it. There was definitely some sort of nervous system damage present. Her leg wasn't feeling any better either, but at least it wasn't as bad - more of a periodic 'kick' in some of the muscle fiber bundles. Neither twitch was the sort of thing that could be done intentionally. She went ahead and scribbled down the problem in the notebook with the instructions, 'See a doctor.'

Gus's words caught her attention again. This time he had remembered to swallow his food before speaking, which was a very welcome improvement.

"So I take it Blood has something to do with medicine, then?"

Emi

"Heeeee, I think fire users can get a little ticked off at certain point in time but immediately after you have just met is a little over the top don't you think."

Emi gave an awkward laugh as she said that and noticed Madison had given her a small smile back from earlier. Emi angled her head a little towards the front at the girl and gave her a sweet smile back. But when Madison asked her about her love life she immediately started turning to the color of a peach with steam coming out of her ears. How could she have possibly asked such a blunt question out of nowhere.

"Wha!? Ehh uhh... I haven't really met much people yet so not really no. But I doubt I would get something like that. You got to give it a lot of time after all, right?"

A soft laugh escaped Emi her lips when Emi took the subject of her mind. It really had gotten her that Madison would ask her something like that. Madison went on talking about that she hadn't got into a serious relation herself yet but did have her first kiss. Was that a normal thing for girls to have already? A first kiss that is. She merely hugged people but she didn't feel like she could kiss anyone right now. At an earlier age she might not have thought about such thing so much but now she was pretty uncertain about those sort of things. Emi simply looked at the girl and smiled, she didn't know how to reply to that. It was a hard subject she thought herself.

"Well to be honest... Someone took me to their dorm and I slept there last night hehe... That was a little awkward wasn't it..."

Yoshino

Shino still hadn't moved from her spot and didn't seem that she was going to move any time soon either. Her legs and arms hurt from the fall. She didn't have any bleedings so that was a plus but she still felt all the pain coursing through her body. She tiredly drooped her chin onto the floor with tiring looking eyes just staring forward. Truly bothersome falling just like that, she wondered why she still didn't wear pillow armor. She didn't think of it for nothing.

A sudden voice made her head slowly turn towards the sound of it. Her eyes fell on a girl that was crouched down right next to her. She gazed at the girl for a moment with her mouth still agape and her eyes unfazed and blank as ever. The girl asked if she was okay but Shino clearly wasn't paying attention to the situation right now. Yoshino turned her back the same spot again simply gazing forward again. This time however she looked at the ground between her stretched out hand and muttered something to herself.

"Dad was wrong, Angels do exist after all."

Yoshino gazed in front of her again and turned her head back towards the girl again. Yoshino looked over the girl her body to inspect her a little and to remember how she looked. The girl had long hair unlike herself, she thought it looked quite pretty. To the girl it probably looked like Yoshino was checking her out or gazing at her again but by the time she probably had already understood Yoshino was quite the airhead.

"Oh... Hello"

After Yoshino had finally spoken back to the girl she turned her head forward again and stared off into the distance. After a while the girl spoke again, probably directed at her but it didn't seem to arrive. Yoshino gave a soft sigh as it came through to her that she was probably lying in someone's way. She gave a small nod while still staring ahead and noticed the hand reaching out to her. Her eyes pointed towards the hand as she pushed herself off the ground with both hands.

She sat on her knees and hands and used her muscles to sit on her knees only. She gazed at the hand for a moment but lightly grabbed hold of it with her sleeve softly brushing against the other girl her hand. She tried to get up with mostly her own power yet her body still hurted a little. Eventually she came to a stand and slowly let go of the girl her hand looking up at the girl her face afterwards. She made a slight bow with both her hands bundled on her lap.

"Thank you very much for your kindness."

Yoshino raised both her hands again letting them hang in front of her belly just like she did before. She took a quick look around to see if the crossroad had any exist anywhere but it was of no use. She had to survive on her own from now on. This was the jungle and she had to get out of it. First is food then water.

"I got lost."

"Again."

"Sigh."

Yoshino was definitely a one-of-a-kind clumsy gal. Well, to Emilia she at least gave off that impression heavily. She even had to be extra careful not to accidentally laugh at her spaced out situation. Though unfortunately she misses her mumbling and takes it as nothing while she stares at her without a second thought.

"You really are a funny one, aren't ye?"

She showed a small but tender smile at the girl on the floor, even if the whole awkward moment between the two had been there for quite a few seconds. The unbearable yet somehow ironic thought that she could now associate herself with a clumsy girl who had also managed to get herself lost in this maze of an academy.

It took quite a bit until she managed to get more than just a slight response, but she felt a tad delighted to be helping the girl up on her own two feet from that kind of a crash rather than just leaving her there to lay down on the floor like a lifeless mannequin for dear god knows how long. She let the silence stay between them for the whole ordeal until Shino finally managed to lift herself up with her help.

"Thank you very much for your kindness."

"You're welcome lass."

A simple but efficient answer, as she probably didn't need to say no more to her. Who knows if she would've even registered a third of the words she had used, had she used more than just those few simple words.
What bothered more was the fact that she actually admitted that she was lost and supposedly more than just once.

"So you're lost as well? And here I thought I was the only one too..."

The situation wasn't so appalling to just give up right there and then, but her self-esteem wasn't quite up to par with the motivation she had when coming here in the first place. She did think of just giving up once, but finding her way around the place or signs of any other student or teacher in the whole entire damn building was probably more important than dwelling in a bad conscience. Her eyes simply roll and she utters a sigh before speaking up.

"Do you mind if we try to go around this building with the both of us? Oh... and the name is Emilia, just in case you wanted to know."

Fixing her posture a tad, she stretches her arms while looking around the place to see if anyone else was around. Sadly no one really was around, so they were kinda just stuck there. Neither would her mumbling find any real target to vent her slight irritation at the complexity of the building.

"Now if I could just find someone with actual authority over here... bollocks."

The simple irony and luck that none of the headmasters were there to even hear that.

”Zephyr Heidrich.”

As both the rather taciturn students ambled towards the pools, as expected there were little to no words exchanged, instead allowing the hushed chatter and the echoing footsteps be the filler in their walk. ”Zephyr Heidrich.” the new student pierced the veil of silence. Well it wasn't unexpected that he would reply to Luke's introduction. Zephyr... Zephyr... "Ah, just like the Greek God of the west winds... interesting." Luke accidentally muttered aloud.

Their stroll would occasionally be met with wide eyed, curious stares, glancing at something behind both of them. Probably the odd spherical ball of... something. Luke didn't really know himself. It vibrated with some terse energy. As others looked on, some made expressions of loathing or disgust as they realized what the onyx-colored sphere was and others simply looked away

”So, I take it you’re enjoying the academy so far, Luke?” Zephyr broke the silence between them once more. Question by itself was strange, seeing as Luke had spent only two days at the academy, and on one of the days he had to sleep, he slept on the uncomfortable couch. "I'm... about as new as you. I've spent only two days here." Luke replied ponderously, scratching his left cheek, "But.. It seems nice-ish. People are still as vindictive as they always are but there are many who seem to not really care about your past or your circumstances. I've met alot of people who didn't really care about my past."

After those words were exchanged Luke led him through the myriad of halls and staircases. Were there always this much hallways or staircases? Luke almost came close to getting lost himself but luckily found his way at the end. The duo now found themselves in an open area, the field stretching out rather wide. The familiar stone which gave a shadowy area to rest, and of course, the pools that took on the characteristic of a wild animal, bucking wildly and unwilling to listen to anyone that hasn't tamed her. Before he could do anything, a sneeze overtook Luke, Is someone speaking ill will on me? he thought, rubbing the temple of his nose.

You could easily feel the pulses of energy it gives off as they got closer to the area. It's intensity easily affecting the inexperienced. Even Luke had to strain a bit as they walked closer to it, "Here we are." he said promptly whilst taking off his clothes, save for his undergarment. He stepped into the pools after placing his clothes and satchel near in the shadows of the rock. Wincing a little as he got deeper, it seemed that the waters were more intense than the first day. Heeding the advice of his headmaster he held a long breath of air and dove in deeper into the waters. He was right, the water didn't crash and strike Luke, which made him unable to maintain his concentration making him difficult to control the waters.

He was now able to properly use and control his powers. But his breath would not hold for very long, so he rose out of the water and gasped another breath before diving again.

The moment her hand grazed the blade, she found it quickly and painfully wrenched behind her back. "You know, I could have sworn," He began, wrenching Rinna's arm back a bit more. "That I said it was staying there. Which should also therefore entail, that you should not be touching it." He noted that the weapon's aura glowed a bit brighter than usual. It was not out of the ordinary, however, as all of the weapons on display had their moments. "As for why he left his weapon here? I've been told he was quite the whimsical man. Regardless, I don't care how you know about him. You are going to leave my office. Now. Or I am bringing you straight to Headmaster by force." He was getting rather sick of this girl, he had repeatedly tried to be nice and lenient to someone who barged into his office without his express permission. He wanted nothing more than to have her out of his office and go back to his peace and quiet.

If the girl was able to see auras, she would be able to see that his was startle to become more jagged, the sheer rudeness this girl had shown in the short while she had been in his presence had been enough to put him on tilt, and he had quite enough of it.

Rinna snapped back to attention when her arm was wrenched away from the blade. Instead of letting him get it behind her back though, she allowed the movement to spin her around to face him, a cheeky smile on her face.

"Why shouldn't I know who Urufu's Kasai is? I'm his last living descendant, hence why the sheath to his sword is on my belt, and his wife's weapons lie on my hips." She paused for a moment, frowning at her trapped hand. His hands were very large compared to her own, so there was no gap for her to slip her wrist out of.

"The sword was calling to me, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered coming here. Technically, that sword should have been part of my birthright, except it's been lost to my family for generations." She wasn't the least bit phased by his threat of taking her to the headmaster. It wasn't the first time she had heard those words, and it was likely it wouldn't be the last either. Besides, if she had gleaned anything from her meeting with the headmaster the day before, he would be far more interested in hearing about how following the resonance had led her to the sword, and how she had managed to see its aura.

Madison

"Wait, you what?" she stopped to face Emi, but then looked slightly to the right of her, realizing that the girl may not want to talk about her sleepover in the other student's dorm room. "Never mind, sorry. That's none of my business." Madison continued walking, seeing Mr. K's office coming into view.

Never been so happy to see a classroom, she thought to herself, wanting out of the awkward situation as soon as possible. "Well, that's my class over there," Madison pointed, her face slightly flushed from embarrassment, "see you around, Emi!"

Some time after lunch

Madison was running late for class, although she had Damon to thank for that...again. But this time she cut him off, although she still felt bad for him. As she rushed to Mr. K's office, she tried to finish up the apple she was having.

"Mr. Kessinger, it's Madison," she announced herself, knocking on the door before opening it. Once she saw what she walked in on though, Madison couldn't help but drop the apple, mindlessly watching it as it rolled away.

Yoshino

Yoshino pointed a finger at her own face from just under her chin and angled her head in question if she was talking to her. The look in her eyes was still as blank as ever. Was she being called funny just now. Yoshino didn't understand but decided not to dwell on it knowing that it was utterly pointless and a waste of time.

Shino got back onto her feet and thanked the girl. This girl was talking weird, she hadn't been called a lass before yet so she felt a little weird being called that. Shino tilted her head to the opposite side this time and gave another confused look at the girl. This girl was a weird one.

Yoshino gave a nod at the girl when she confirmed that Shino was indeed lost. From what the girl said Shino could tell that this girl was lost too. The girl looked like she would know the way but apparently not. There went her way out of this maze. Shino hoped that this girl would be of some use at first but decided it was at least better to walk together than alone. This girl helped her up at least so that must mean she was a nice person that she could somewhat trust.

Yoshino gave a nod when she offered to go around the building with the both of them. The girl probably won't help her get out of here so she figured she would be so nice herself and help the girl out of her instead. Yoshino lowered her head a little and placed her knees a little closer together.

"My name is Yoshino but you can call me Yoshi if you like. Most people do atleast..."

Shino gave the girl a small bow before frilliking with her hands a little and waiting for the girl to lead the both of them. Maybe this girl knew at least a little what she was doing.

Emi

When Emi told Madison about her experience last night she looked quite confused. Emi rubbed the back of her head awkwardly knowing that she was being stupid for having done that. Madison did seem to have forgotten about it almost instantly probably seeing on how Emi made a great mistake telling her.

"Eh hehehe, sorry sorry. It wasn't anything that special, please forget about that."

Just when she said that and looked back at Madison the girl had something in her sight. Emi looked questionably at Madison when she began talking to her and apparently they were her goodbyes to Emi. Emi looked a little dazzled by that all of the sudden but cheered up quickly again and gave the girl a short wave.

"Y-yea, I'll see you around hehe"

Emi stood still and waved after her for a moment before starting to do some things herself. She headed back to her dorm room and begun working on the book of Brunhilde that was completely in pieces. She would bring the shattered pages to a scanner later to make them whole again. For now she taped the shattered pages together and bound the book in sections.

@liferusher
The confused expression of Shino just made Emilia give the same reaction. "Uhm... I did mean you by that." It's a first for Emilia to talk to this kind of a person as well, so it is very confusing to see the reactions of Shino. It would be a bit of an understatement to say that she had a hard time speaking to Shino. The reactions gave a slight hint for it.
She didn't really answer back to the thank you a second time but acknowledged it with a simple nod. But the second confused look was enough to just stiffen her in place. Looking backwards to Shino with the same perplexed expression

"Lass means girl... it's not that confusing, I swear."

With first impressions somewhat done, she still couldn't get any idea what kind of person she was dealing with. Polite definitely, but the rest is a complete mystery. She ruffled her head at the situation, somewhat showing the finger ornaments she had been wearing since morning. But while the person was a mystery, at least they came to an agreement with going around the place with each other instead of being alone. Emilia was fairly sure it wouldn't help too much, but it was better than being lost alone regardless.

"My name is Yoshino but you can call me Yoshi if you like. Most people do atleast..."

"Thanks for at least telling me your name in return. It makes this a lot less awkward than you'd think, honestly."

Names cleared and an agreeable action. It didn't seem so bad now to be around each other. And with that, she looked to move up north of the building. Perhaps they'd run into something that could give some sense of direction finally in this building. And the very first things they do pass by are most likely some classrooms for some of the different elementalists. At the very least they gave off that impression.

@Zelosse (Note: Up to you if he's around or not.)
A few good minutes into the walk and she steps close to what seemed more like a small office that had the door slightly open. Her curiosity got the better of her and she went to the door and peeked inside.
"Hello~, anyone here?"

Saqui nodded her head in acknowledgement of Brunhilde's answer, her brow furrowed as she mulled it over. "Baffin island is in Canada, right? My brother travelled there a while back" She commented, feeling as if simply nodding wasn't enough. "Sorry, I've not heard of...Tuckterjuk. Is it a big place?" Saqui asked, testing her hand at pronouncing the name of Brunhilde's home by mimicking the way she'd heard it and hoping for the best "Six years old...you must know your powers inside and out by now" She added, trying not to pile on more questions.

Which turned out well, they'd have probably been forgotten after the 'hall monitors' sudden appearance. Saqui raised an eyebrow at the...odd fellow who tapped on Brunhilde's shoulder, her eyes focusing on the old school badge sticker on his sleeve that looked as it were about to make a break for freedom. His questions stoked the fire within her as she found herself wondering what he was talking about but seeing as Brunhilde felt no need to comment on it. Saqui held her tongue...for now.

Luckily not enough to break the flow of conversation "Feather it is then" Saqui repeated looking between the two of them "I don't mind, takes more than that to offend me...it comes with the territory" She added as Gus eased up enough to continue eating through the mountain of food in front of him. Saqui prevented herself from staring by looking at the small amount of food in front of herself as she listened for his answer, absently glancing up at them both in turn as she took a few small mouthfuls from the dish in front of her.

'Blood must have something to do with medicine'

"So I take it Blood has something to do with medicine, then?"

She bit her tongue as Brunhilde beat her to it this time around with her calm approach. Saqui decided to give Gus a chance to answer before adding to it and instead spent a moment going over what she'd heard so far.

"On the medicine side, if it's hard to get over here, do you and your father use any natural remedies?" She asked "Just seems like this place would be rich with herbs and the like" Saqui added, placing her fork down and resting her arms on the edge of the table.

"That...hall monitor looked like he meant business" She finally mentioned, having waited until the conversation had gone in a completely new direction before doing so "Did something big happen yesterday?"

Elbritas Kessinger

Elbritas sighed. "I didn't say you shouldn't know who he is. The thing is, that sword won't tell you anything, nor can I. The only person who knew who he was and what he was like would be Headmaster. The sword, however, is not your birthright. Nor should it have been. He chose to leave it here, and he told his wife he did so. It wasn't 'lost' as you claim, technically the sword doesn't belong to anyone, except in this room." He let go of Rinna and walked back over to his desk, pulling out a small key and ruffling through a few papers. He looked up as he pulled out the letter he was looking for. "Ah, Madison. Sorry for letting you see such an odd scene, but as you can see I'm dealing with an obstinate brat that feels far more entitled than she is." He handed the letter to Rinna. "Urufu himself wrote this letter. He must have had some wisdom since he knew this was going to happen." The letter reads:

If you're reading this, that means you're either the new fire teacher or one of my descendants who's being a little fucking shit. If the former; congratulations! Welcome to teaching snot-nosed little shits with tempers and egos bigger than their brains. If the latter; I can only assume you've tried to harass the teacher for something. In which case: quiet down you little asshole! My possessions don't automatically become my next of kin's just because I died. "Ohhh but great great grandaddy Urufu, I can feel it's presence, [insert item here] belongs to me! I need it!" Just... stop. You feel it BECAUSE it was mine, chances are you still have a scrap of my essence within you no matter how watered down it becomes. It's going to resonate with you. Gonna have to accept that and move on. And since I have a feeling this has to do with my sword, I've got a bit of news for you. The sword was left there for future generations of The Academy to learn from. You can do a lot with the essence of a powerful item, and this is no exception. The idea of being able to feel the differences in all the fire teachers past and present seemed like an interesting concept to me, so I started the little tradition of leaving your weapon after you leave the school. If you have any questions, talk to the Headmaster. The old fart'll know what's up, so stop being a shitstain and smarten up.

For the Fury of the Flame,
Urufu Kasai.

He sat down, motioning for Madison to do the same. As he saw her finish reading the letter, he spoke up. "Does that answer your questions? Because there's no more answers to be found here, so I'd appreciate it if you take the letter and leave."

Emi

@AlicePleasanceLiddell

After about an hour of concentrated working with some light hearted music on the background comming from her room she took a quick stretch and had decided to get some refreshments she had placed in her fridge earlier today. The book was comming along well especially if it wasn't such a boring task to do. With some music and the sun shining on her body from the window it wasn't half as bad. She had taken off her blouse too while she was at it displaying her cherry blossom swim suit top. Perhaps she should sun at the pool or something this afternoon as treat for working so hard already. She opened a can of coca cola cherry and took a quick gulp. This weather was sweat breaking and nothing but a cold drink could beat that. She gave a reliefed sigh and wanted to sit down but before she could a knock on the door could be heard over the music.

Emi titled her head in confusion to who it could be. Her room mate perhaps? That would be a nice thing though. To meet your room mate after all this time. Emi stared at the door for a while longer thinking on how her room mate could look like but after another knock she hastily walked towards the door. She softly opened it and gave the person standing there a gracefull smile. Another red head. This was the third one today!

"Hello, can I help you with something? Do you have any business here perhaps?"

Rinna took the paper and read through it quietly, her shoulders trembling as she quickly scanned through the document. As she neared the end though, she couldn't control herself any longer, and burst into laughter, her entire body shaking as she held the piece of paper close.

"Look who's calling who an asshole!" She wiped tears from her eyes as she smiled up at Elbritas. "If he'd left us some record of what happened to the sword, none of this would have ever happened." She glanced back at the sword, and her laughter died abruptly. Her family had been the most important thing to her, but now that she was alone her heritage was all she could take comfort in. She hoped that her essence resonating with the shadow of theirs would be enough.

She turned back to Elbritas, making no effort to conceal her lonliness. It seeped into her aura, tinging the usually stormy blue with far too much grey. She smiled slightly and nodded when he told her to keep the letter.

"If that sword was meant to teach, then keeping it locked in a glass case is a shame. It's crying out to be used." She nodded at the blade, and turned for the door, pausing within the frame. "And it feels like there will come a day where that sword will be needed." After that she was gone, headed down a hallway with no clue where she was or where she was going, the old piece of paper cluthed carefully to her chest.
