In other news you guys mind if I bounce some ideas for my Gem off you guys? I normally try to avoid this 'cause I usual end up feeling obligated to go with sugestions but I've been staring at a nearly blank CS for weeks now. -_-'

Alright so first off... I have nearly no idea what I wanna do for a power. I was thinking maybe having a Laser shot out of his Gem but that seems to awkward since his Gem is in his ear. I was also thinking duplication but I didn't really like that too much (Plus I could end up misusing it by just having him fuse with copies infinitely and getting insanely big).

Also as for a weapon I had three ideas. I thought of using either a small samurai sword (Since my Gem be SMALL), a little laser pistol or leg armour that goes from his feet to his pelvis. For my armour idea, I had the idea of having it be really elegant 'n' stuff since I'm planning on having my Gem's type of gem typically be really elegant and not a fighter (more like entertainers or more like Pearls) but then my character being less than elegant and it being a kinda funny contrast.

@HaltingBlooper Okay, then. I'm planning on doing some creative things with her powers later on, anyway. I'm in a Bayonetta/Devil May Cry RP right now, so I know how to make "overpowered" fun.

@rocketrobie2Mmmmmmm I don't like the armor idea, tbh. Jasper works because she headbutts stuff with her headbutt-helmet. Just plain armor doesn't really work. (See Chromite: has armor, also has weapon.)
Also, I wasn't aware we were allowed to change our weapons. @Akayaofthemoon@Kronshi Can I change Emerald's weapon to a sword and dagger?

@rocketrobie2Ear gem? Maybe perfect sound mimcry, recording, and playback? enhanced hearing? verbal decyphering (like sodalite's omnilingualism, but your character would only be able to hear all languages and understand them, and wouldn't be able to speak other languages or write in them)? what about vibration manipulation?

in terms of gem items, I'm going off of the sound ideas. maybe like a tuning fork? perhaps some sort of hollow or curved armor to redirect sound? seismic cymbals?

I was thinking sound type stuff but don't we already have a gem that have a guitar type thing that makes people really depressed 'n stuff with music? I honestly kind of want something more 'in your face' type of powers though vibration manipulation sounds pretty tempting...

How about, for their Gem weapon, he uses greaves? Leg armor on his shins. He could fight with kicks and dance-like movements, kinda like capoeira or similar marital arts? That way he'll be kicking your ass and looking good doing it.

As for a power, maybe keep it thematic with the fighting style- something like wind or density manipulation, even.
