Pretty good. You know, language studies - really busy, really quite happy with the direction my life is going. I don't think I was ever part of S:ARG, was that Az's group originally or just yours and he was in it? I remember all of you guys were really tight - especially in Season 2 when I couldn't stick around. ;-;
Az group I joined in at the start of Merchants daughter. And yeah, we were all really tight but old-guild shutdown kinda killed a lot. That along with life. Everyone getting busy, and such.
Yup! Just made a fool of myself by posting in it without realizing it didn't work out... 3 months late. XD Totally dumb move. Like Isaid, let me know if you try again, I'd totally be down. Would probably use Nadya as my sheet - I'm on a Russian character kick lately.

Standing in at 6' flat, and weighing roughly 170 lbs. Tommy posses an lithe, athletic build of one used to physical activity and rigorous excercise. His jet black hair is cropped short and his facial hair clean and professional. He has a squarish face, with prominent features and cool blue eyes, his mouth typically curled into a flat frown. He has a tattoo on his inner left forearm that reads "Government Property" in thick black military letters, and another tattoo over it that says "Void" in red.
In-Depth Personality: Cool and collected, Tommy has a calm and professional demeanor that seems to pervade every fiber of his being. Level headed and quite confident, Tommy likes to maintain awareness over every situation he's in and can provide even the most panicked individuals with a sense of calm in an otherwise hectic situation. Capable of operating at peak efficiency, even during times of great adversity, Tommy is difficult to stress out and isn't squeamish at all. At a first glance, Tommy has it all, he's confident, willful, and compassionate. He can however, be overly trusting, and is often too concerned with watching others to take care of himself. From his past military experiences, Tommy has a minor case of PTSD, and suffers from insomnia because of it.
Character background: Tommy Kensington was born in the city of College Park, Maryland, son of a former military veteran and volunteer firefighter father, and a bank teller mother. The oldest, and only son in a household of 4 children, Tommy was quick to assume the role of "secondary man of the house" at a young age, to help his parents take care of the family and house. He attended Prince George's county public schools with no particular noteworthy achievements. His grades were average, though not the model student he was not a bad kid, He played soccer and swam, but not at a college-competitive level, and he didn't have the innate brilliance of his closest sister.
After graduating highschool, Tommy didn't really know what to do with himself. He wasn't a dumb kid, but none of the colleges he had applied to had accepted him. He spent a year in community college before he dropped out and joined the military- the Navy specifically. His parents, one being a military veteran himself, gave him no resistance, and encouraged him to pursue what he felt was his calling. After speaking to a recruiter, Tommy attended bootcamp and became slotted to be a Hospital Corpsman- and attended Field Medical Training soon after.
He found that he loved his new occupation. Training was difficult to him, but he was able to pick it up after a while. He enjoyed the experiences, and was able to help people. The military structure was familiar to him, and even comforting. It kept him on task and motivated, and he excelled in his position. In 2016, Tommy was deployed to Korea, along with a detachment of Naval forces and marines, to deal with the aggression of North Korea against the U.S. ally, South Korea.
While not expected to fight himself, Tommy was trained with firearms, and was he ready to return fire if need be. Or rather, Tommy thought he was ready. Taking care of accident wounds was one thing, but while on Korea, Tommy found himself almost always treating patients with combat and bullet wounds. He spent much of the next year waking up to the sound of gunfire, or screams. Tommy himself was never injured during the fighting, always managing to escape unscathed, either due to his position in comparison to other soldiers, or plain dumb luck. The conflict, while never turning Tommy into a bumbling wreck, had an effect on his psyche, and after returning to the U.S., he was diagnosed with PTSD and honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy.
Tommy moved up to Toronto, Canada with his little sister, shortly after being discharged, and joined the ranks of Toronto's Paramedic Medical Service, who were happy to welcome a military vet, and already trained EMS professional into their ranks. Tommy has spent the last 6. months in Toronto

Ehhh before I make a CS, will all the characters eventually group up into one big group because having small, individual groups or just people wandering around by themselves has killed a lot of RPs in the pas!
Sorting out groups may be a good idea, do we want to set up groups so they would need something that the other group had? That way interaction between them would be almost a guarantee?
@vietmyke Similar boat. Or there's a child involved. In fact, it would honestly make sense for them to be in the same group, but it almost seems unfair to the world XD
@vietmyke you're absolutely right in that regard. I'm down, shoot me a pm, I'll respond when I get a chance tomorrow. We're not deep into the end of the world, so we'd have to establish how they know one another.
@vietmyke She works in Chicago's ER, was heading north to follow her parents now that she's finished her master's degree, so I don't think she'd already be picking up a job in Toronto. Could be that he lives in the apartment building they do, because it's their second home and therefore it wouldn't be completely unaffordable for the average person to be living there.
