I admit I am keen on being a Space Marine-like faction. But...I have yet to make my normal Dwarf or Lizardmen nation as of yet since I joined the site.

I'm interested kinda, I'm disappointed that this will be mostly war but if that's what we want Sci-Fi would be a better setting. But if we want story fantasy.

I've basically decided to try out a very Warhammer-esque high fantasy since I'm looking to make a war story. That said, I will try to make it different from canon WFB by encouraging people to make edits to little things. That and the fact Chaos won't be a thing so the Norscans in the north are no longer crazy fuck ass vikings who pray to Chaos, they're just normal crazy fuck ass vikings who never really got out of their edgy teenage years.

Also canon spells won't a thing but the lores will be.

@All, I'd also like to encourage all of you wishing to join to come up with a race you'd like to play and maybe think of a way to alter it a bit if it directly relates/comes from WFB. It'd also help clear up any disuptes of two people who want to play the notEmpire or notHigh Elves.

As GM I'm claiming right over the Beastmen btw

Sure although I'd prefer you edit them in a way so they aren't just direct carbon copies from WFB canon. Could be small edits, could be big ones, just as long as I can tell they aren't just copy pasted ^^

That seems to be what you were going for with the original idea and throwing in Tomb Kingesque people's who feel none of those things seems to miss the point? Beastmen at least have to breed and have culture. Not just "Rawr, undead destroy life!"

I'm just a stickler for creativity but you do have a point I guess. In the case of the Tomb Kings, you could just swap around some Lord and unit names and maybe some magics.

In line with whats recently been said, it would probably be best just to make small edits and such, nothing that would detract from the core feel of the race.
