@Abillioncats I don't know why this popped into my head (probably because I bought and played Doom just yesterday) but I can imagine Emerald at some point mentioning that she likes playing video games and everyone thinks she means Pokemon or some other non-violent game so Robert, Shiro, and any other characters agree to hang out and play games together. When they come over though, they find her playing Doom, Mortal Kombat, or some other super gory game with a crazed look in her eye as her character tears someone in half with their bare hands. Emerald begins laughing manically before noticing everyone has arrived and are cowering in the corner.

Not for Gren unfortunately, as the "Iron Hulk" he's suppose to be the bad guy in the ring. His three gimmicks essentially boil down to "Humans suck" in three different flavors:

As a Faunas, humans are weak.

As a Cyborg, humans are soft.

As a Giant, humans are puny.

He also does do some scummy things using his cybernetics, like the Arc Reactor (It's just a flashlight) in his chest is used to blind his opponents, and wears a polymer armor in the ring to help absorb blows. Not that he actually needs it (Cause the armor is plastic and Gren is beefy even without armor), but it shows that he's too cowardly to actually fight bare chested. He also has a tendency to have his "minions" gang up on his opponents, though this can turn against him when his opponent easily wipes the floor with the minions and leaves the Iron Hulk without any backup. That's not to say he can't hold his own, but unlike actual Gren who uses some level of cunningly applied brutality, Iron Hulk is all brute. While he's one of the toughest grapplers, he "lacks" the skill to use fancier or more complex holds, pins, and throws, and sticks to just throwing his weight around and slamming his fist, legs, or opponent around.

Essentially the Iron Hulk is the big bad that smaller, smarter, more agile faces have to outmanuver and outsmart instead of try to overpower.

Oh for sure! I don't think Trad would be keen on doing it either if it wasn't for a good cause. The real trick now is figuring how to get it all orchestrated since I'm not sure if Gren and Trad have even met yet.

Well I'd imagine it'd go something like this:

Gren goes see his old friend Grane and finds out their good friend Delta is gone. Feels all around.

Trad notices that Gren is super huge.

INSPIRATION! They should wrestle in memory of Delta. He wouldn't want them to be all mopey and sad so they'll have a good, fun match in honor of his happy-go-lucky attitude.

They work on it and figure out this shit is expensive. More people hear and may be willing to pitch in and help. Gren and Trad meet people and hear about their adventures, sad stuff, feels ensures.

Gren says fuck it, blows all his credit and Lien to hold BEACON'S BOWL OF BLOOD AND BITS and works on contacting all the peeps we've worked with in the past.

Stuff happens AND WE WRASSLE AND HAVE FUN.

Also Delta is actually alive and wants corn dogs or something.

It's more like Schrodinger Gren: he both exist and doesn't exist, because this is who he is if we actually go through this wrestling thing. And if we don't, then you can safely disregard what I'm saying, since Gren has not yet done anything IC to show whatever I'm saying is true. It's planned, but not yet implemented.

He's kind of a jerk in some situations but why would a wrestling match change his personality so drastically as what you wrote pretty much contradicts 90% of the Gren we've seen up until this point.

Oh, that. Ever heard of something called Kayfabe? Essentially the whole "Iron Hulk" thing is just an act for the ring. He's a role he plays so that the audience has an enemy they can cheer a more heroic wrestler, or a "Face", can overcome. Because the real Gren might not be that great of a wrestler, but he's still plenty dangerous enough in hand-to-hand simply by not holding back, as he could easily lift his own weight without much problem, or using his semblance to really give himself an edge against his opponents. But as the Iron Hulk, Gren holds back his actual fighting powerless and instead focuses on putting on a good show for the viewers, and generally giving his opponent a fun fight. So that means relying on obviously weaker and inefficient minions (Actually stunt doubles who are really good at their job: doing dangerous things and not getting hurt for it) and using dirty tactics (Which isn't that usual for the real Gren, but his tactics and equipment tends to be far more effective. A light that is actually a laser for example, or real metal armor that you'll break your hand against) so the audience can see him as a "bad guy".

Gren is still himself, he's just playing pretend you know? Or you know, roleplaying. We're going reeeeaaaal meta now. A character roleplaying as a character in another roleplay? *Brainsplosion*

I mean, I dunno how Trad actually is as a person, though I'm sure he's a nice guy. Gren's a nice guy too I think, and they really have no reason to fight each other except for maybe a friendly spar. And while that's all well and good, it's just not the same drama as "The Evil Robot Overlord Iron Hulk is going to take over the world! Only the rough and tumble Lynchwood is there to stop him and his army of Metal Minions!" Yes that sounds ridiculously, but it's also not that far from an actual wrestling gimmick I've seen.

It's really slow going, pain medication is giving me headaches which prompts my doctor to lower the dosage and then my leg hurts unbearably so he ups it. Basically just waiting for one pain to stop so we can fix the other. Until then I'm finding it really difficult to write up a post, I'm sorry.
