Name: Professor Kalmia
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Imagine her to be wearing a lab-coat when on official business.
Personality: She's an active woman. In her youth, she was highly hyperactive and far more likely to make a mistake before she even realized said mistake was possible to make, and a certain amount of that girl still lives in her. But, her energy is now focused towards her love of Pokémon and research, which shine.
Hometown: Pureplain City.
Background: Not all that long ago, Kalmia embarked on her own Pokémon journey. She saw most of the world and learned from the best. However, although she became a pretty strong Pokémon trainer, she instead chose to focus on her Pokémon research. Coming into contact with a Pokémon professor from another region called Professor Oak, he was astounded by the diversity of Pokémon in the Isson region. Taking up his request, Kalmia agreed to help his research by spreading a number of Pokédexes with the youths of today. This will be a piece of cake for them!
Kind of Pokémon you like: She likes all Pokémon! … Especially underdogs!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: While she's also taking care of the PC in Isson, Kalmia is under the impression that Pokémon should not be in the PC for too long. So, every now and then she takes out all Pokémon currently in the PC and takes a LONG WALK with them, causing minor mayhem as she comes walking with a literal horde of Pokémon. As the Pokémon in the PC grow in number, she also can't take them all at the same time, that'd be too much, so instead the horde walks happens more frequently. An encounter with Kalmia's walks is, to this date, the most exciting random events to ever occur to an average citizen living in Pureplain City.
Role so far: Kalmia’s the Pokémon professor that has given all the trainers their Pokémon. She did so by entering a deal with Professor Oak, and then sent them all on their merry way to catch the Pokémon of Isson and become Pokémon Champions. Yupp.

Name: Vivia
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Personality: Rather high-strung. She intends to become a Pokémon researcher, and despite her superior's obvious proof of the opposite Vivia believes she has to be absolutely perfect in every way to achieve her dream. Hence, becoming an assistant to one with a promising future obviously meant she became way better than everyone who isn't and is the same age as her. However, this did nothing to change the fact that she's a calamity of unawareness and clumsiness, which far outweigh that of her teacher's, and Vivia's aware of this and is trying to better herself before she starts to feel REALLY useless. While she was extremely confident after leaving school with top marks, having experienced her own clumsiness in the lab has shaken her, turned her a bit more shy and humble...
Hometown: Pureplain City.
Background: A normal young girl who was born as a completely normal girl in Pureplain City. She's been inspired by Professor Kalmia, she became determined to become a Pokémon Professor as well and gained some really impressive grades on paper-tests and has managed to secure the position as Kalmia's assistant. However, here, she has had her confidence shaken by her own clumsiness. She still tries her best, though.
Kind of Pokémon you like: I-it doesn't really matter, does it!? ... She likes silly Pokémon.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: She intends to become a Pokémon Researcher, and, er, she might secretly hope to be a Pokémon Trainer, too, but she keeps those desires restrained knowing what a disaster she'd likely become.
Her legs… are ridiculously strong, for some reason.
Role so far: Vivia served as Kalmia’s assistant until the day everyone got their Pokémon. Then, it was revealed Jacques had approached her behind the scenes and offered her a Pokédex and Pokémon, and as she in secret wanted to be a Pokémon Trainer too, she accepted as Kalmia wouldn’t consider her own assistant for her Pokédexes. She ended up not telling Kalmia until the day, too worried about that it would seem like a betrayal. Kalmia forgave her immediately, though gave Jacques a displeased look.
She’s battled Erika in her first battle and was eventually defeated, receiving an electric shock from Rotom for losing. Resolving to grow stronger as to avoid getting the shock of defeat from Rotom, Vivia set off on her own journey, hoping to grow as a Pokémon trainer.
She’s currently travelling with Skylar, for some reason.

Name: Rodger
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Personality: He's reasonably jolly, but he can be a bit of a bully. He doesn't see any reason not to look down on people weaker than him or hold back with his words. People can easily become ”not worth his time”. He's fiercely competitive and will desire to battle at any turn, and will certainly want to challenge the Pokémon League. He's also a really sore loser. However, when he recognizes an equal or a worthy rival, he has a tendency to initiate friendly rivalries, which he views as the best of friendships and he'll defend them to the end of the world against any adversary.
Hometown: Bigfjord City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Strong-looking Pokémon!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: He’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. He thanked Jacques for being given the opportunity to fight strong trainers at once.
He’s joined forces with Oaken to battle Lucian and Ren. After both sides decided to end the fight, he travelled with Lucian, wanting to learn more from the clearly more intelligent trainer.
Battled Basil after a quick call from Jacques.
Gender: Male.

Name: Joshua
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Personality: It is hard to tell what Joshua takes seriously. He dances around the world, digging music while seemingly barely listening to the people around him. He takes things in his own tempo, and more than willingly drags everyone else into it. He lets nothing bother him, he almost always smiles, he casually hits on girls in his immediate surroundings and calls things for ”cool”. Despite that, he's rather infuriatingly capable.
Hometown: Justroad City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Cool-feeling Pokémon~
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: He’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. He’s shown himself to be a friend of Ewan, and has been giving compliments to the girls.
He was battling Reiji until said opponent vanished into thin air with nobody noticing. He battled Amelia to a loss, but got her to blush by calling her cute first.
He and Ewan met up with Ren at the Super Contests of Pureplain City, where they saw the show together and Ren got contests explained for her. Joshua gave her a ribbon.
Later, Erika ran into them by the Wet Caverns. Together they went through the caverns, saw Dragon Roost, got to Lakewatch and will head off north later.

Name: Ellyn
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Personality: A seemingly apathetic young girl. She does what is told of her with minute precision, but herself she feels no real desire or pleasure from doing so. Likely not to care all that much if she wins or loses, but Ellyn has been told to become the best Pokémon Trainer she can be. So... that's what she'll do. See if she can become invested by doing so. … It should be noted, that although this was her initial state, she took her first loss rather badly, after having been riled up by one of her opponents. Did she become invested, after all?
Hometown: Worldedge City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: … Whatever appears, I guess...
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: She’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. She was pulled along by Maple, joining forces with her and Simon to battle Martin, Abigail and Dawkin. Contrary to her own belief, she got annoyed when the battle wasn’t going her way and was further agitated by Dawkin suggesting her surrender. Upon her loss, she found herself with an annoying emotion she hadn’t previously experienced. Maple adopted her, and they’re currently traveling together.

Name: Ewan
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Personality: Mildly stoic, but still a knight with honour at his heart. He values proficiency yet also fairness, and seeks to waste as little as possible. He constantly worries about his own performance. Which is silly, because his performance is almost always top-notch. He has a considerable lack of self-value, and will fairly easily abandon his own rights. He does his best to maintain his own form as well. When it comes to Pokémon he’s enthusiastic, but it’s hidden beneath his stoic and worrying attitude.
Hometown: Justroad City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: None in particular. A good variety should do.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: He’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. He’s shown to be a friend of Joshua, at least for the sake that they appear to be conversing with one another.
He battled Claire for their first battle, and using some rodeo tactics Ralia beat Sven. He congratulated her victory, and then moved on to travel with Joshua.
He and Joshua met up with Ren at the Super Contests of Pureplain City, where they saw the show together and Ren got contests explained for her.

Name: Simon
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Personality: A young boy who was raised under the impression that he's always to be the best. And that has stayed for all time. He makes ridiculous proclamations that everybody ignores, because even if they corrected him and even if they proved him wrong, Simon would still stay the same. Good thing is, he feels no fear. Any setbacks he meets is immediately dismissed, for he will eventually overcome all challenges. He never backs down from a challenge, no matter how tough, for the best would be able to handle it, no matter how bad the odds. … It is a good thing he’s not living in a naturally lethal world.
Hometown: Rainrock City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The best! The best like me!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown. Well, except for becoming the very best, like no-one ever was.
Role so far: He’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. Kalmia made a noise to Jacques about "You got Simon!?", implying he's someone of note.
As he announced his intention to be the best, Martin challenged him. Joining forces with Maple and Ellyn, Simon took on Martin, Abigail and Ellyn. However, it turned out that he had asked Jacques for “the greatest challenge”, so he was given a Hoppip, which knows no attack moves.
It resulted in Simon’s loss, despite his best efforts to tank damage. While dismayed, Simon quickly recovered and ran off, intent on proving he’d become the very best.

Name: Cathia
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Personality: Cathia is a normal girl, whatever she would like you to believe. She maintains an aura of top gracefulness and wonderful calm, but that isn't what she actually is. She's a normal, slightly shy girl who disguises her shyness under what appears to be an aura of superiority. However, it could fade away eventually when you get to know her, and then you might learn how fierce she can be below. She’s enduring a considerable pressure, a pressure which she’s not comfortable sharing the nature of to anyone.
Hometown: Pureplain City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Beautiful and graceful ones, which might support my own image…
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: She’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. Saying that she absolutely cannot lose, she battled Donna and emerged victoriously, much to her own relief. She was intercepted by Jacques before she could leave, speaking out of earshot of the others.
She later engaged Dawkin and Martin as they attempted to leave the Wet Caverns, confident in her training.

Name: Maple
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Personality: Social butterfly. She talks so happily with anyone she meets about anything and she wants to be your friend. She tries her best at whatever is put in front of her, and often setbacks don’t have too much of an impact on her as she’s already at it again. She has an incredibly flighty interest which keeps her leaping from area to area. The only interest that has been consistent throughout her life is that for being a Pokémon master.
Hometown: Witchpeak City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Oh! Cute ones! … And handsome ones!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: She’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. For no discernable reason, she was pulled along with Ellyn into battle alongside Simon against Martin, Abigail and Dawkin. Upon losing, she was the only one to praise their opponents. She took it fairly well, and noticed that Ellyn was taking it badly despite what she had said before the battle. She took it on herself to help the girl, and the two are now traveling together.
Someone apparently completely burned up the opposition at the Pokémon School and became their Champion with the title of “The Scorcher” with an impressive array of fire-Pokémon. Said person’s name was “Maple”, so… Fairly reasonable to assume it may have been her.

Name: Oaken
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Personality: Oaken commonly frowns his way through a problem. Used to thoroughly analysing everything that is in front of him and knowing all, he can become a bit self-confident when he thinks he has all the variables down. But sometimes he gets lost in his own thinking and ends up confusing himself. He’s aware he cannot think as fast as he wants to and is slightly bad at adapting, but give him time to focus on a problem and he will return with the perfect answer. He takes little pleasure from victory but gets highly annoyed at losses. Overall, he refuses to ever come into a battle unprepared, and he aims to be the perfect trainer.
Hometown: Redcoast City.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Those that fit my team and that are more functional than those I have now.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown.
Role so far: He’s one of the trainers given Pokédexes from Jacques. He was one of the candidates to be given one by Professor Kalmia, but she opted him out for the current cast. Bearing a bit of a grudge to that, Oaken intends to prove Kalmia made a mistake.
He joined forces with Rodger to do battle with Lucian and Ren. After the battle was left unresolved, he left and Rodger tagged along, hoping to learn from him.
He was present when Azelf gave a few trainers the quest™.

Name: Chloe
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Personality: A happy, playful, bright and energetic girl who marches to the beat of her own drum. She’s laid-back and easy-going, quick to accept new and mysterious things with an excited look on her face and also friendly and warm to more or less everyone she meets. She’s a great fan of fashion and style, as well as of Pokémon and Pokémon battles, they’re just such a thrill! She’s also more or less used to being on a road, except, maybe not on a road and completely broke, perhaps.
Hometown: None. Her parents were constant travellers.
Background: Unknown.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Anything fluffy, cute, small, warm and/or soft~!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: A bit of a fashion-nut, Chloe has to go visit the cloth-stores of every single town she visits to get a local taste. Being a traveller with no real hometown, she’s used to adopting whatever style is usually in use wherever she’s arrived to. That said, she might not be entirely used to not having the money for these sorts of things. Still, due to her personality, it’s not like she’d ever despair about that sort of thing.
Role so far: Was battled by Cyril after being brought by Jacques to Kalmia’s lab.
She’s now travelling with him.

Role So Far:
Personality: Extremely confident and maybe somewhat narcissistic, Jacques commonly has a sinister aura around him which gives an aura of that he will always believe himself to be in control. It is how he wants to look, and as such he doesn’t hold back. Those defeated by him often return with stories of how he completely humiliated and made fun of them on the stage of battle. However, maybe surprisingly to those who came to view him as some form of self-absorbed Pokémon-villain, he shows absolute care for the health of Pokémon and will strictly but firmly correct and help someone who’s doing wrong or badly in front of him. It's a natural impulse, he just feels he has to do something about someone looking pathetic in front of him if he can do something about it. It isn't rare to hear of an unexpected act of kindness on his part. This, in combination with his strength and title, has made him well-liked by many trainers of the Pokémon League.
Hometown: ???
Background: Currently unknown to the players.
However, he's a confident, trusted and unshakably placed member of the Elite Four, whom trainers everywhere fear and respect as well as hope to one day overcome. And Jacques highly approves of this status which he has managed to attain...
Kind of Pokémon you like: Fu-fu-fu-fu… You'd like to know, wouldn't you?
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: He doesn't really like to be holed up in the Pokémon League all day, so he tends to travel across the region, seeking interesting sights. This includes all from seeing new trainers embark to seeing interesting Gym Leader fights, and he has many contacts which may inform him of incoming watch-worthy events. When the Pokémon League has need of him, they first need to convince him to come back, as he's likely interested in something else at the moment and would rather not return...
Role so far: The Elite Four member arrived at Kalmia’s lab at the same time as the trainers. Just as Kalmia gathered a group of trainers to give Pokédexes, so did Jacques. He claims he had no idea Kalmia was doing the same when he made the deal with Professor Sycamore. He suggested a friendly battle, and so it was.
He also showed off his Rhyperior for a bit at Dawkin’s request, and the silly giant rock-creature got to try to comfort Flame the Vulpix after having scared her. However, Dawkin’s original request was to see Jacques’ starter Pokémon, a request that stopped Jacques short as he appeared to remember a troubling memory as he said that was not possible, before going to the next best thing and showing his Rhyperior.

Name: Lorette
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: While a sensible individual within, she likes to appear as a playful little girl with a sneaky little smile on her face. She likes to strike people older than herself as creepy before she shows just exactly why she’s the Gym Leader. Deep down, she’s fairly insecure, however, and constantly wonder if things are really going to go as she hopes they will and nobody will accuse her of not being good enough. But, as far as she can, she smiles, gives as wise advice as she can as she drifts along, and she REALLY enjoys being the first opponent of young kids making their way from Pureplain City to Highhill Town. She has many friends in Highhill, she’s dutiful, and overall a pretty sweet girl.
Hometown: Highhill Town
Background: The daughter of the previous Gym Leader of Highhill Town, who was a Bug-type Major League Gym Leader. As tradition would have it, the Gym Leader of Highhill Town is also the Shrine Maiden of the Silent Shrine. Lorette had very early shown an interest in her mother’s occupation, and as such was taught by her mother both the arts of the Shrine Maiden and of the Pokémon Trainer. However, during the Team Wars a couple of years ago, her mother relinquished her title as Gym Leader and went away for a couple of years for an important mission. In her place, Lorette took the title of Gym Leader despite her young age, and has been holding it admirably since.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Oh! I like cute fairies! … But of course, the Bug-type Pokémon my mother left me to raise has a very special place in my heart!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: She’s very well known to enjoy taking long, long walks in Silent Forest and promptly getting herself lost, sometimes for days at a time. This is sometimes an issue because it holds up people who’d like to battle her for her badge, but she enjoys making them seek her out. Eventually, the fairy-Pokémon of Silent Forest guide her back, knowing her well enough to know to do that.
She really actually wants to be a Fairy-type Gym Leader, but she very much looks up to Jeanette, the current Fairy-type Gym Leader, and so settled for simply becoming the Bug-type Gym Leader in her mother’s place.
Role so far: Amelia found her at Deepforest Shrine talking to a flash of green that swiftly disappeared, and then had a conversation about Lorette’s past and her wanting to be a Fairy-type Gym Leader. Because of being similar in age, Lorette was more open than she’d usually be. She also told how her Larvesta was the child of her mother’s Volcarona. She then stood ready to defend during Team Virtue Grunts Mark and Randy’s visit.

Name: Archie
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: An easy-going child who doesn’t fully understand the consequences of everything he does. He doesn’t entirely understand when people doesn’t see things his way, or when they don’t act like his prejudices would imply. But, he’s learning, and he knows he’s learning. His butler, Ramsey, constantly looks after him and ensures he stays relatively on the right path, and Archie constantly means well, at the very least. Still, nothing is quite as exciting as a good battle~!
Hometown: Stillwood Village
Background: Long, Stillwood Village didn’t have any skilled enough trainers to represent them as Gym Leader. However, then Archie was born with the unnatural ability to find his way in the Endless Forest, and in there he walked. Out, he walked with several distinguished grass-type Pokémon he came upon, and he started using them for Pokémon battles. The public was astounded, and someone suggested that he be their new Gym Leader. Archie didn’t really get it, but guided by his butler Ramsey Archie accepted the duties of a Gym Leader and takes on many a challenger, becoming the pride of Stillwood.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Aaah, I like grass-types! They’re nice, and they remind me a lot of home! The others told me to focus on them, so I am~!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Archie likes to dance around on top of the trees of Stillwood Forest. A normal person might risk accidentally falling, but he seems to do it as easy as playing on a floor. Archie also for some reason seems able to travel Endless Forest normally, which is something nobody else has been able to claim. Wonder why?
Role so far: Claire challenged him for a battle. It got really close, Claire overcoming numerous of Archie’s challenges, but eventually his last Pokémon, Bellawesome, turned out too much for her.

Name: Hector
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Hector’s an extremely competitive person who regularly wrestles with Pokémon way out of his league because HE CAN! He seeks blood-pumping, high-pressure battles and greatly laments the fact he’s merely a Minor League Gym Leader so that he cannot go all out on his challengers. Good thing for the building, really. He has a habit of making up things on the fly, and he’s really skilled at training his Pokémon (or disciples) to share his mindset on things, quickly flaring into prepared position and getting ready for battle. He’s a social person with a huge group of companions, constantly seeking to get stronger and overcome the greatest of obstacles! Current objective: BECOME A MAJOR LEAGUE GYM LEADER!
Hometown: Redcoast City
Background: Unknown to the players for now, but at the very least, he’s a respected man in the upper circles of the Pokémon League that has more or less been restricted to the lower sections as a Gym Leader in order to hopefully improve his maturity before he’s regarded as ready to take on the reins as a Major League Gym Leader. He currently runs his Gym both as a Pokémon Gym and as a regular gym where people can come and train, and he’s taking numerous disciples that he trains using his fairly excessive methods.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The pure and unaltered power of the Fighting-Type…! Oh, but for my competitive team, any that holds an aura of power will have my respect!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: So his Gym isn’t actually a Gym and the high-powered battles taking place within commonly damages the building beyond repair and he pays for the repairs anyways. That’s where the majority of the Gym’s budget goes, repairing the building. Nobody ventures anywhere but the first floor anymore, it’s simply too dangerous…
Aspires to become a Major League Gym Leader, and have AWESOME HIGH-PRESSURE BATTLES with all his challengers…!
Role so far: He was wrestling a Machoke when Claire came in and challenged him to a Gym Fight. Her challenge was to overcome three Pokémon with growing strength. She emerged victorious.

Sooo, so far he’s simply been using the Pokémon of his Gym Trainers, because his own would be too powerful for a Minor League battle…! But, so far it’s been…

Name: Kristy
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Flighty and whimsical, Kristy easily goes with what first comes to her mind and does what she feels like. Not one to bow down to authority easily, she takes command of a situation and leads it with a wide smile. She has a natural way of people and isn’t easily perturbed, and she loves digging about in the Desert Mines and spreading happiness as well as encouragement to other miners, meaning she’s very well liked among the miners of Raremine, to the point she acts as their representative. Enjoying the power, Kristy’s happy to use her title and admiration as excuses to let her do as she likes. She is fundamentally a good person, though. She just gets a little excited at times.
Hometown: Raremine Town
Background: The daughter of a miner without a wife, Kristy was with them in the Desert Mines from a young age and helped them with minor tasks from the moment she had the strength to carry things. Finding that she was more useful commanding Pokémon to help the miners, the young girl took to becoming a Pokémon Trainer that used her ground-type Pokémon to help the miners dig. From there, she grew strong, and became famous among Raremine Miners. At some point, she discovered battling and the fact towns have Gym Leaders, and it occurred to her that she could try that out. Turns out, she was really good! Becoming powerful, she was hailed by the people of Raremine as their princess, and the Pokémon League saw her suitable to grant permission to become a Gym Leader, the young trainer named the “Desert Princess” for her appearance. … That was 10 or so years ago, Kristy is now an adult. Still, she retains the title and still looks after Raremine Town just as she did~
Kind of Pokémon you like: I’ve always been surrounded by Ground-type Pokémon, so having them around just feels natural. Still. Doll-like Pokémon~!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Kristy likes dolls, always has since a young age. Especially if she can mold them out of clay and shape them as she wishes, and from that she can create some lovely things. This was perhaps partly what made her grow a kinship with her strongest Pokémon, a Claydol. There are also a lot of Baltoys in her workshop…
Role so far: Attacked a convoy with Ancient Pokémon before Dawkin and Amelia’s eyes due to suspecting them of being sold to Team Amethyst.

Name: Dorian
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: An older man whose years alive have made him wise. He enjoys the calmer practices in life and can always delight in some peace and quiet. Yet, at the same time, his utter passion in life is and has always been Pokémon battling, something which he has made into an artform of itself. He pursues the idea of perfection, knowing it can never be achieved, and he expects any challengers to have ideals of their own in mind. There is nothing which pleases him more than a good battle with a worthy challenger.
Hometown: Pureplain City
Background: While his greater past is currently unknown, he’s a famed old trainer who’s been a Gym Leader for over 30 years. He hails from Pureplain City and has maintained a really impressive reputation in the Pokémon World. Someone seeking to become the Pokémon Champion must overcome him sooner or later.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The Normal type has attracted me, due to its potential for perfection. But otherwise, any Pokémon willing to let itself be molded by my hand.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: He’s rather talented in a variety of different art-forms, including the creation of vases, the blowing of glass, the weaving of tapestries, the painting of paintings, the cooking of food and multiple such things that he at one time or another had a passing fancy for. Currently, he’s back doing vases. But his go-to art will always be Pokémon battling.
Role so far: Amelia came in and spoke to him. They had a discussion about his ideals, and in the end Dorian had a positive impression of her as she left.

Name: Lesley
Gender: Female
Appearance:
(ignore the ears)
Personality: Lesley’s a friendly, well-liked individual that often appears very easy to see eye-to-eye with. She’s cheerful, and very quick to take a liking to people for a variety of different reason. Of course, she can go on and on about dragons to the end of time, for she shares a very close connection to them, but otherwise, she’s pretty decent a person. Buuut, she has a certain berserk button, if someone mentions catching dragons around her…
Hometown: Lakewatch Town
Background: Unknown to the players for now, but she’s very highly regarded around Lakewatch Town, not only as their famed Gym Leader but also as the leader of the Lakewatchers, their own little unit which patrols the Dragon Lake and gives tours to tourists and so.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Dragons. It’s gotta be dragons. They’re my own little sweethearts. Teh-heh.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: How many people do you know that wears armor constantly? Yeah, thought so. But, if you ask, she’ll tell you that she’s dealing with young dragons every day, and they can get rowdy~!
She sometimes tend to vanish for slightly extended amounts of time. Wonder where she’s going off to? Hm.
Role so far: Erika ran into her at Dragon Roost, place where Dragons could live now that Dragon Lake was more dangerous. She helped her obtain Gible, or more like, let her attempt (and succeed) on a condition.

Name: Yvonne
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Yvonne faces the world with confidence, knowing that now that she has finally gotten out into the world, there can be nothing but greatness awaiting her! Now, that she has finally gotten away, she’s free to use all the means at her disposal and make the world bow to her! It doesn’t stand a chance! Hahahahahahahahaha…! … So, maybe Yvonne’s a little arrogant, but she’s aware of it. She WANTS to be arrogant, and have the skills to back it up. That would be the best kind of experience, to feel superior and actually be it. So, she acts like the former and does her best to achieve the latter, facing whatever mishaps she might run into on the way as best (poorly) she can…!
Hometown: Justroad City
Background: Currently unknown to the players. But, she’s an aspiring coordinator from Justroad City who intends on conquering the world and making all bow to her! She’s also, quite evident by looking at her attitude, part of a richer upbringing. Maybe.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Glorious, wondrous Pokémon that make me stand out just by owning them!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Well. She does have a talent for getting herself into more trouble and embarrassing situations that she need to be rescued out of than she probably deserves to. She has a very peculiar relationship with her mother.
Role so far: She was rescued from Infested Woods by Laurinda after she had been dropped off there by Ellias and his Pigeots, apparently, after he had promised her a sight that would take her breath away. Huh. She then ran into Claire, and the two bonded as rivals as they both aimed to become Pokémon Trainers and Coordinators. Though, Ralia felt a reaction of fear and admiration directed towards an unknown when the prospect of becoming “the best” was raised.
She then requested to be flown to Redcoast City instead of home to Justroad when Laurinda called a Freecape Ferryman to get her home, and Claire got a ride. There, Yvonne somehow obtained the Redcoast Challenge Badge before hitting the Contests, causing Claire to also challenge the Gym.

Name: Alberto
Gender: Male
Appearance: - The guy
Personality: Alberto's a reasonable, humble individual who's a bit amazed at how much he's being hyped up, not entirely sure if he deserves it. He does his best not to elevate himself too high, albeit Lucia tries the opposite. He's highly passionate about Pokémon, particularly Pokémon that prove themselves to have one of the five contest traits, and easily ends up marveling at them.
Hometown: Unknown
Background: Unknown, but he knows Yvonne. He and Lucia are the newest stars of Dreamer Studios that are being hyped up as being really good.
Kind of Pokémon you like: I really like all categories. Pokémon that amaze me and take my breath away, especially! That provide me with a sight I've never seen before...!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: He has this odd thing that he has a difficult time finding people. If someone walks up to him, he might not even realize until they start speaking to him. If someone flees from him, he might completely lose track of where they went before what people would consider reasonable. Yet, at times, he shows off remarkable ability to recognize people over great distances, if he just focuses, especially if it's someone he knows well.
Role so far: Met Claire and Yvonne by the Redcoast Contest Hall. He got to marvel at Ralia for a bit.

He's highly passionate about Pokémon, particularly Pokémon that prove themselves to have one of the five contest traits, and easily ends up marveling at them.

Role so far:
Name: Jonas
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: The kind of guy that would mobilize the whole of West Team Virtue Base for the sake of the safety of a single young girl. When he speaks, he speaks of the ideals of good, and for the safety of all without consideration to his own safety. Probably the kind that has made many in the west have a rather positive impression of Team Virtue. Problem is, he misunderstands things and jumps to conclusions WAY too easily, and often gets into problems or mobilize troops for what later turned out to be no reason. He pulls the trigger way too fast, because he’s always in a hurry to help. That is, at the very least, who he appears to be on the outside for the average person.
Hometown: Unknown
Background: Unknown, but he’s a Team Virtue Elite. This means he’s at the step in-between a Grunt and an Admin, where he has some authority but still has to follow the commands of the Admins.
Kind of Pokémon you like: If there’s any Pokémon everyone else dislikes, I’ll be sure to pick it up!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown to the players right now.
Role so far: First appeared misunderstanding a scene where he believed Drifloon was going to make Amelia disappear due to the stories of Drifloons taking children to the underworld for holding them. He proceeded to attempt to attack the Drifloon, but ended in a battle with Amelia. Realizing Jonas was, well, Elite, Amelia ran and managed to escape. This caused Jonas to mobilize the whole west base to scour the Silent Forest for her.
After Mark and Randy found her alive and well without any Drifloon, he reported over the phone that he was happy she was alright and called his Grunts back.

She follows everything by the book, and also goes out of her way to be nice to everyone she meets. It should be noted, however, that she isn’t very fast on her feet and an unexpected situation often leaves her dumbfounded, in which case Karl likely has already charged ahead and she has to follow.
Hometown: Unknown
Background: A Team Virtue Grunt partnering up with Karl. That’s as much as the players know right now.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Controversial Pokémon. To take the enemy off-guard.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Typically carries around a ridiculous amount of healing items on her person.

Mark & Randy - Two Virtue Grunts that went and visited the Deepforest Shrine to hunt down Amelia, and was about to attempt bringing her in by force. Dunno, might just use these two at any time random Virtue grunts are needed, for fun. Heh. Has a Gastly and a Mareep, each.
Name: ???
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Confident. Curious. Positively glowing in giddy malice. He has a mission and he enjoys seeing it to the end, no matter who’s plans he may ruin in his way. He feels a rivalry with the people of Team Virtue, seeing them as opposing businessmen made out of the same cloth rather than as an opposing force of good against evil like many in Virtue feels. Whatever his real motive is, he clearly enjoys the missions he’s been put on, and is always up for a little game, throwing a few wrenches and experimenting with what he can get away with. Regardless, a dangerous man to come across.
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: Unknown. Given his speech and mannerism it’s clear he is of noble birth, but other than that, he reveals no secrets. He has appeared as an enforcer of Team Amethyst, never interacting with any agents, always on his own. His missions are aside the primary, for only he has the power to achieve whatever tasks he’s given. Whatever task he’s currently on, he seems to be looking for specific Legendary Pokémon. Whatever his goal is and whoever he really is, you are not ready to face him.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Unknown.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: The GM has to google for British slang each time he appears on-screen.
Role so far: Dawkin has run across him twice. Once when he opted not to capture Darkrai right before his eyes at Old Tombs, and then once again at Mythic Oasis where he DID capture Cresselia right before his eyes. The man recognized Dawkin the first time. Fortunately, he didn’t do anything terrible.

Gender: Male
Appearance: The guy.
Personality: A calm, snarky and somewhat passively aggressive young man who’s highly pragmatic about the means with which he achieves his goals. While efficient, he’s not very ambitious and rarely comes up with his own plans, leading to that he’s often being led around by Mia and have to accomplish her plans for her. That said, his level of natural authority is pretty high, and he has a tendency to play around a bit with possibilities of things right in front of him. Otherwise, he’s lazy. He’s doing this for a quick buck. No grand purpose in it all. But, the adventuring is somewhat exciting sometimes. Sometimes.
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: A member of Team Amethyst, travelling the world with Mia. More is not known by the players at this time.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Those that serve my purpose. Some coolness and dependability doesn’t hurt.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Has broken quite a few hearts back home… Mia doesn’t seem to have any interest in him like that, though. Hm. Oh, well.
Role so far: The two were overheard by Dawkin about their plans to poach dragons in Wet Caverns. They hunted him into a dead end, where Allan offered him a job at Team Amethyst. Dawkin declined and fled with an Escape Rope before having his pursuers be chased off by Karl and Anabelle of Team Virtue.
Later, they were found arguing and panting in front of Wet Caverns by Lucian. He was told Karl and Anabelle stole Mia’s Ducklett, and Lucian was going to be on a lookout for it. In the battle against Karl and Anabelle later, it was heard that apparently Ducklett had been used as bait for Allan and Mia’s escape.
Lucian recollected Ducklett and started guiding him back to Mia at Route 5.

Personality: Somewhat fierce and ambitious, willing to take steps to achieve her goals. Has a tendency to run her mouth when excited, and she’s fairly easy to get riled up. Yet, she’s determined to maintain the sophistication of Team Amethyst through her clothing, which definitely carries a certain style and she spends quite a few hours ensuring her hair is absolutely perfect. In the battle against Karl and Anabelle later, it was heard that apparently Ducklett had been used as bait for Allan and Mia’s escape.
Lucian recollected Ducklett and started guiding him back to Mia at Route 5.
Gender: Female
Appearance: The girl.
She knows she’s at the bottom of the ladder, but she’s determined to climb it. She’s a slight perfectionist, and get very annoyed at people meddling.
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: A member of Team Amethyst, travelling the world with Allan. More is not known by the players at this time.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The cute, yet deadly! Like me! … I’m like that, right?
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Often needs to be reigned in by her partner because she speaks too loudly about secret matters in places she can be overheard, typically by having a cigarette thrust into her mouth. She does not appreciate this.

Name: Angelique
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Silent. Frightening. She walks with no regard to anyone around her, and her eyes seem to care about nobody. Her mere presence sends chills down spines, and she’s feared by many. When she does speak, it hardly ever makes sense, yet know that her words are always being spoken with a purpose. What that purpose is, however, is anyone’s guess.
Hometown: Unknown to the players.
Background: Unknown to the players.
Kind of Pokémon you like: … (She has surrounded herself with ghosts, so assumingly she has a preference for them.)
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
Role so far: Angelique appeared in Raremine Town when Amelia and Dawkin were visiting. They would potentially have been in deep trouble had not Joshua appeared and saved them. After a brief conflict and dropping some cryptic words, Angelique left the town.

Appearance:
Personality: A flamboyant man oozing confidence, a Pokémon Trainer battling at the highest level of the game. He’s taking on Major League Gyms one by one, but always up to drop a few charming words to those who he feels deserves them. Commonly sugar-coats his words and abscently flirts, but that’s simply his way of keeping himself entertained. A genuinely helpful guy if you run into a problem, and otherwise simply an oddball when it comes to style and grace.

Name: Earl
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: A bit of the fearless sort. He heads straight into possibly dangerous areas in order to find what he’s looking for, and will often assume anyone approaching him wants to fight. That said, he has a cool-headed front, you’re unlikely to see him flinch or surprised in any way, and he truly burns for his passion project of collecting herbs. It is of note he doesn’t particularly take pleasure in human contact and can live entirely without it.
Hometown: Rainrock City
Background: Unknown. He moves about from forest to forest, seeking special herbs he can use for his potions.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Those who can help me with my work, or those I have an emotional connection with.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: So, Earl can make some pretty unique herbs. He goes all over looking for them. His home, strangely enough, is a hutt in Southern Silent Forest.
Role so far: Skylar walked into him in Southern Silent Forest and he made some herbs for him. Earl then had a Pokémon battle which Skylar won. Earl embarked for his next quest.

Name: Anise
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: A fairly determined young girl who sees challenges in everything. Upon seeing someone, she’s likely to evaluate their toughness. She commonly wears a frown, and expects the worst in any situation that comes along, which is why she prepares herself for the worst. She ensures both herself and her Pokémon are ready for battle, kept fit, and train to get stronger. One day, she hopes to be strong enough to protect us all.
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: Unknown to the players, however, she’s the disciple of the Redcoast Gym Leader, Hector. Also, in the past at some point, she heard the stories about how the rain around Rainrock may not be natural, and a monster might rampage if she cannot solve the riddle behind the mirror at the Abandoned Shrine. Things aren’t easy, huh.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Pokémon that I can depend on!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Has a tendency to jump to conclusions. Other than that, she’s a pretty talented martial artist, if where she’s a disciple at didn’t give that away. She’s pretty agile and physically strong.
Role so far: She ambushed Claire at the Abandoned Shrine, where she was then defeated. She informed of how she was trying to show the mirror of the shrine strength because of the prophecy she had heard about showing the mirror the “strong one” would calm the Pokémon that may be causing the storms around Route 3 before it turns into a natural disaster. She then appeared in the Gym when Claire was challenging it and lent Claire Meditite and Froakie during the battle as it needed a full team.

Name: Florrie
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: A somewhat insecure young Pokémon Trainer that second-guesses her every move, she always looks to the stronger presence in her immediate surrounding for guidance. In case of doubt, this is the words of her grandpa that she remembers by heart, but his view on life is often outdated and gets her into trouble. She has a fair bit of maturing to do, yet despite this, she’s a well-meaning girl that wishes with all her heart to become a stronger Pokémon Trainer and to one day help make the world a better place.
Hometown: Raremine Town.
Background: A frail but fair Pokémon Trainer hailing from Raremine Town, little Florrie always admired her grandfather and asked what she could do to help. Being way too frail to do heavy work at the mines, she was instead pointed to the Pokémon Lab, where she immediately became employed as a delivery girl. She’s been forced to battle often and lose almost always, but she has endured and now she answers directly to Dunstan and has been entrusted with an important mission. Her success rate made a dramatic increase ever since Zei was paired with her. Perhaps with him she’ll finally be able to grow stronger?
Kind of Pokémon you like: B-being from Raremine Town, I’ve always felt a close connection to Ground-types… B-but, I wish to expand my team to become varied and unpredictable! Oh, and I like Zei, of course!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Her most notable quirk is how she often falls back on her grandpa’s knowledge in a pinch, regardless for how ill-suited it might be. She also has a tendency, or perhaps just ill-fated luck, to get into trouble whenever she’s left on her own. She eventually gets out, often with the help of Zei, but commonly you locate her in a spot of trouble and need to decide if it’s worth saving her or not. That, or just force her to stick around, then she doesn’t get into trouble. Mostly.
Role so far: Ended up in a battle with Dawkin, then guided him to the lab. Explained she’d been hunting after Zygarde Cells, and now Dawkin can do that, too. Headed with him to Mythic Oasis.

Name: Frans
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: A usually optimistic and cheerful young man more than willing to spill his heart out telling stories and liveling up the place. His confidence is somewhat fragile, however, and can be cracked for a more emotional, vulnerable inside that is prone to crying and bouts of depression. Still, he looks his best when standing in the forefront of a Pokémon battle, striking a dramatic pose as he directs the battle.
Hometown: Private Palace. Closest enough actual town would be Worldedge City.
Background: A young man who never was allowed to have a normal Pokémon journey. When he was young he wanted to become a powerful Pokémon trainer, and having a lot of money, he got his wish and grew to be a powerful and respected Pokémon Trainer in the Pokémon League… but it was not with Pokémon he trained himself. Regretting this, he seeks to catch a low-level Pokémon and restart from scratch… or, well. Almost from scratch. He couldn’t leave his precious Parvati behind, could he?
Kind of Pokémon you like: Fantastical Pokémon that look like they come straight from the epic tales of yonder!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: There are rumors that he shows up on routes outside of Worldedge City trying to catch wild Pokémon. Why would he do that? Surely he has all the Pokémon he needs, being such an experienced Pokémon Trainer. And they say… he can never catch one? That’s weird. A man of his caliber should be able to catch wild Pokémon, no problem. Is he cursed or something…?
Role so far: Claire met him, helped him catch a Bronzor. Except, the Bronzor was registered to Claire? Frans had an epiphany upon them calling Kalmia to ask for tips, and went to confront his father, the owner of the Pokéball factory.

Name: Daisy
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Energetic, passionate and quite intent on achieving her goal. One would have said her aura burns with determination if she wasn’t so determined to be ice-typed. This does not mean she’s cold, because she’s friendly, charismatic and very eager to prove who she is. And if you stand in the way of her ambition, she’s going to freeze you(r Pokémon) where you(they) stand, because that’s just the way it is!
Hometown: Pureplain City.
Background: A decently regular girl from Pureplain City that decided she was going to be absolutely freaking fascinated by the Ice-type and that she’d rule the world with it. With the goal of becoming an Ice-type specializing Elite Four, she first worked her way to the top of the Trainers’ School, becoming their beloved pretend-champion, and with that, she feels ready to head out and take on the world! … Yeah, no, she does not have a complicated story anywhere. A very simple girl. Has parents in Pureplain City she could return to at any time.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The splendor of the Ice-type!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: She coincidentally shares name with a relevant Aroma Lady in Stillwood Village that Erika lost to once. This is a coincidence. Other than that, Daisy is a fan of Pokémon contests and became fast friends with Penelope when she enrolled at school. Might try it out in the future? Oh, and, almost the same way as for Amelia with ghosts, Daisy has a sense around ice-types almost like she knows exactly where they are, mostly. She gets along with them really easily, however that happened. Decently style-aware.
Role so far: Both Amelia and Eryn heard her praised by students long before she appeared on-screen, and when she did she was hunting a chilling ghost in the school in front of Amelia before handing over the note about the seven mysteries of the Trainers’ School. So, the Pokémon she was really after is Misdreavus’ Sneasel companion. Yupp.

Name: Dad and Darcie
Gender: Male and Female
Appearance:
Personality: Exceedingly stoic. Come horrors and hellfire, the two of them will always be exceedingly blank-faced no matter what comes before them, which they communicate between them well. The father is a former trained soldier, who believes if he can help people he needs to. The daughter is a natural spirit medium, who pursues the restless souls of the departed to give them peace. Together, they fight crime! … Too bad that they tend to suck at Pokémon battles!
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: The father is a trained soldier that could probably win most hand-to-hand combat scenarios with anything, Pokémon or not, that isn’t a ghost. He eventually had Darcie with a sweet woman, but Darcie inherited his wanderlust and also happened to become sort-of a spirit medium, which she refuses to let to go to waste. Hence, the two of them go from tomb to tomb, seeing what they can do!
Kind of Pokémon you like: Ground-types are exceptional. They can build trenches for avoiding enemies with heavy firepower, and they can dig paths behind enemy lines for recons and ambushes.
As a medium, ghost-types has a natural affinity with me. However, I also appreciate the flexibility offered to me by psychic-types. I will make use of what I need in any given situation.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: They are… not good Pokémon Trainers… to say the least. However, they’re certainly not going to let that hold them back and are sure to throw themselves headlong into danger with a straight face and with complete disregard for danger. Obviously.

Role so far:
Name: Dunstan
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Slightly insensitive when it comes to humans. He believes in research and the development of humankind alongside Pokémon-kind, and constantly seeks to learn more about the connections in-between. But, he shows basic decency, even if he often needs to be urged into things other than research by Leila. He often doesn’t even consider that there could be a life outside of research, and that suits him fine. Now, a lot of people have come to talk to him recently…
Hometown: Worldedge City
Background: A researcher from Worldedge City. A man famed for brilliant discoveries about the origin of Pokémon, who helped sort fact from fiction among the myths and grew to be called the “Legendary Pokémon Researcher”, a statement both about his fame and about his choice of research. Somewhere along the lines he learned that Legendary Pokémon in one way or another formed or governs many different aspects of life, and the key to staying alive may one day depend on humanity’s understanding of these beasts. As such, he seeks them, and he studies them.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Guess thrice. Though, I do suppose my preferences tend to go with Pokémon that look ancient.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: A surprisingly competent Pokémon trainer. His reasoning is that if he’s to study the most powerful Pokémon the world has to offer, he needs to be able to hold his own against them. Other than that, he doesn’t have many quirks. His aspirations lies with the unknown discoveries of the Legendary Pokémon of the world, and perhaps the protecting them from people who’d wish them ill at some point in the future. Who knows.
Role so far: He was driving the truck Kristy attacked because Kristy believed they might be leaking Pokémon to Team Amethyst. Later, Dawkin followed Florrie to him, and Dawkin was given the Zygarde Cube from him to collect Zygarde Cells.

Name: Leila
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Leila’s a moderately tempered, confident woman who’s good at what she does and shows it. She prefers showing a more lighthearted side of herself, but can quickly switch to serious as the situation needs it. She does enjoy Pokémon battling and showing that she’s a more than just competent trainer. She loves her significant other very much.
Hometown: Worldedge City
Background: A woman that was always very interested in the science part of life. While she lacked the academic ability to actually progress to becoming a scientist, she did get herself a formidable boyfriend in the field and proved herself a capable administrator as well as Pokémon Trainer, ensuring that the researchers always had what they needed and protected them at times of need. Often runs around between the Research Labs of Worldedge and Raremine, and represents the researchers in Raremine Town when needed.
Kind of Pokémon you like: The simple, yet powerful. That can look elegant and prove a point. Those I like.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: She does like to play the caretaker, bringing coffee, sweets and other nice surprises to the researchers and give them plenty of breaks when needed. She also enjoys cooking good food for her significant other~
Role so far: She was guarding the truck Kristy attacked because Kristy believed they might be leaking them to Team Amethyst. In the conversation that followed, Leila accused Kristy of roughly the same, before she left after Dawkin stopped the argument.

Name: Laurinda
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: She likes to carry herself with a grace and dress herself in a bit of style to make those who see her go “wow”. Laurinda does have a stable head on her shoulders and experienced most which this world has to offer, but she might not be quite as patient as she likes to proclaim she is.
Hometown: Highhill Town
Background: Currently unknown to the players. But, currently serves as the warden of Infested Woods, a place infamous for the possibility of new trainers being lost forever due to its proximity to where new trainers tend to come from, Pureplain City.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Hmmm… If I consider it… I like them feeling mystical. But, above all else, they’re my friends.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Constantly has a back-and-forth with her future-seeing challenge-starved Delphox, who doesn’t appreciate being stuck in Infested Woods.
Role so far: She and her Delphox gave Dawkin and Martin tips about the surroundings. She also helped Claire get into Deep Infested Forest and had Delphox watch over her while she went and saved Yvonne. Then she called Eugene of the Freecape Ferrymen over to send Yvonne home to Justroad, but ended up sending both Yvonne and Claire to Redcoast instead on their request. Also, helped Amelia into the Wilted Woods, guiding her to ensure she was safe while she caught herself some ghost-types. She was also looking over the many burned bug-types after Delphox burned down all the wild Pokémon in Deep Infested Woods because Claire wanted to catch a Combee…

Name: Eugene
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: A sensible man who can keep his professionality without being too much of a stick in the mud. While not very outspoken, he does enjoy good company and has a significant passion for both his interests, machines and flying. No better way to make a living. He likes a calm evening of just relaxing and a high-speed dive down a canyon, which really makes him weird in some ways.
Hometown: Freecape Town
Background: Currently working for the Freecape Ferrymen who take payment for flying people around Isson.
Kind of Pokémon you like: It’s not as much of my preference as what does the job for me. … Still. Steel-Pokémon are cool. Flying-Pokémon are also cool. So, in short, Skarmories.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Accomplished skydiver and a pilot of actual planes, aside from being an expert Skarmory-rider.
Role so far: Was called over by Laurinda to help get Yvonne home, but ended up ferrying Claire and Yvonne to Redcoast instead. Yvonne has his number.

Name: Elana
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Normally very calm, she doesn’t normally express much in the way of excitement. However, there’s definitely a burning desire to explore in her. Sitting still in place doesn’t suit her well, and her things are always packed ready to embark at a moment’s notice. She inspects every possibility to leave the office with great interest, otherwise staring at her phone in boredom. Kind of could make you ask why she got herself employed in the first place… but there she is.
Hometown: Lakewatch Town, as far as the players know.
Background: Unknown to the players, but she’s employed by the Lakewatch Explorer’s Guide Service, where her experiences as an explorer are offered as a guide to people wishing to purchase for money. Yupp.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Unknown to the players, but you can bet it has something to do with which help her out in the wild.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown to the players.
Role so far: Erika met her in the Explorer’s Guide Service, and got hints on how to find Dawnstones plus a map of Mt. Strength. She collected Elana’s number for later use. May have been a little enchanted by the explorer?

Name: Kathryn
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: A mature and often understanding woman. She’s gentle and generous to her students, and she takes great pride in the Pokémon School as she has created it. However, inside her disciplined self is also the Pokémon Trainer, the experienced woman that was once on a trip herself, and battles or exploration still gets her blood pumping. That was in the past, however, and today she’s dedicated to the task of raising the next generation in her school. She’s pretty happy here.
Hometown: Pureplain City, as far as the players know.
Background: Unknown to the players, but she’s part of the administration at the Pokémon School in Pureplain City, and pretty high up, too.
Kind of Pokémon you like: … Okay, so I’m a bit of a sucker for the cute. I don’t look the type, do I? But still, the stylish and cool have their appeal to me, too!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown to the players.
Role so far: Erza saw her when she declined Johannes gifts, and after receiving the gifts himself she helped pick away a few of the less useful ones. After getting some information he told her she’d hear his name again and a bit so, and she acknowledged.

Name: Johannes
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: A man who looks basically like his soul has been sucked out. Constantly pursued by a group of Shuppets, a Pokémon known to be attracted by negative emotions, one can one can only imagine what goes on in his mind. He acts like little matters to him, often vanishing way too long from his job at the Pokémon School or giving away way too expensive items on a whim. He has the skills, success and reputation of a master of his trade, yet he’s a hot-spot for Shuppets. Well. Up to the players how they wish to react to him.
Hometown: Pureplain City
Background: Unknown to the players. However, he was a Team Virtue Admin during the Team Wars, but retired after the war to become a teacher at the Pokémon School. During his time he acquired a wide array of contacts, has become known as a master of Pokémon battling as well as breeding, and is an overall intimidating individual.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Unknown to the players.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown to the players.
Role so far: Amelia found her way to his house when she was seeking ghost-Pokémon in Pureplain due to the Shuppets stalking him. She apologized for disturbing him and was on her way.
Later, Erza heard him try to give gifts to make Kathryn forgive his absence from his duties at the school, but that didn’t fly. He then gave all those gifts to Erza right outside instead, before heading off.

Name: Trial Master! Real Name: Unknown
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality:
Hometown: Unknown.
Background: He's the grandson of the famous Trick Master, that nobody on Isson has ever heard about. He seeks to become even greater than his grandfather, creating trials for the inhabitants of Isson to attempt to overcome!
Kind of Pokémon you like: Unreasonable to consider! All Pokémon have some way of being used cleverly to overcome (or create) a trial!
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: He will become great, just like his grandfather!
Role so far: Erika took his Flying Trial along with Ewan and Joshua and emerged triumphant.

Name: Darryl
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: A sort-of grumpy fisherman making do with subpar fishing conditions, though striving to make them better by simply not being lazy. This pairs terribly with his extraordinarily lazy Swampert, but that’s fine. He’s down-to-earth, a realist without lofty ambitions beyond getting food on the table. Occasionally he takes some pride in being one to distribute Old Rods and whatever advice he can provide to younger trainers that come by.
Hometown: Pureplain City
Background:
Kind of Pokémon you like: These two have been with me through thick and thin. I’m not about to develop tastes now.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Exceedingly few, beyond putting food on the table for another day. He also apparently has a shiny Vaporeon. He doesn’t really consider this to be worth that much.
Role so far: Eryn met with him and they discussed stuff. Darryl gave her an Old Rod, which she promptly used to catch the Magikarp, Tula. Eryn got Darryl’s contact info. Eryn apparently did not notice Vaporeon was not a normal colouration due to darkness, we’ll assume.

Name: Charl
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: He’s a happy, hopeful and well-natured young man. He has a tendency to become nervous or downcast when things go wrong, but he always means well and is proud of the things he’s been able to achieve. He has a long way to go yet!
Hometown: Highhill Town
Background: Despite fairly young age, Charl is an experienced Pokémon breeder and one to take risks that older people perhaps wouldn’t think of. Using a special brand of Pokémon chemistry, he was able to teach Pokémon how to change the type of their moves to their own natural typing, albeit not with 100% success rate. Regardless, he now offers his services to Pokémon trainers, hoping that with experience he’ll be able to expand his abilities.
Kind of Pokémon you like: Unknown to the players.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Unknown to the players.
Though, his ability to let Pokémon learn a new kind of moves is certainly a talent.
Role so far: Amelia met him along with Jacques at a restaurant in Highhill. He demonstrated Charmander’s Fire Scratch for her. Jacques had taken an interest in his abilities.
