I'm going to get the plot moving along to the next stage soonish, mostly because we aren't really accomplishing much currently. lol
All I need to do is finish two collabs, and get the go ahead from @BlessedWrath to start the plot I discussed with him with Veronica - but, honestly, that can be put back if really necessary.
Then we delve even deeper into the mystery of the Founding Family and the Black Hound.
His characters will be the first to be murdered. \( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)/
Also, I just thought about it, I see another RAVEN/DOVE collab coming up with Wendy/Rowan since it would make sense that they would call for help once they wake up.
Let me know when you want to collab that stuff.
And on another note, I passed my driving test yesterday, so ayyyy I'm legally safe to run people down now.
I think one more collab with NST, and I can set up an ambush point for Veronica. I'll have to talk with him later and decide together whether he wants to be a part of that or not, but bagging two supers for the price of one might be something she'd want to take a look at.
Sam's vulnerable right now; she wouldn't know if anyone took her, likely. But letting the episode pass gives them time to discuss what it was, and gives a chance for Ellen to introduce herself as a metahuman as well. There could be character bonding.
I'm thinking maybe hit 'em on their way out of Old Raygate.
@Mr Allen J My Muse has just nut-punched me with a fist full of ideas, so I'm working on a little bit of scene that might play into Veronica's ambush. I'm not posting anything without approval, since they're your NPCs, but it's something I would present to you as a supplement and setup to the actual ambush.
I'll show you what I've got when I run out of steam.
Supplemental: I don't know what type of goons Veronica would employ, so I just used a couple of suits. We can edit that to be whatever they'd use, though.
I removed the Dreadnaughts from the organization list. I felt like they didn't really belong there because there's no characters for them, and they haven't even been mentioned. lol
As I promised—and after two months of delay, here my character (and I'm ready to get the "no"):

108

Indo-European
Physical Appearance:
Samina Malbari’s 5'5" and weighs about 109 lbs. She’s a petite young Kurdish woman with long and curly dark brown hair down to the middle of her back. Samina’s skin is a permanent tan and she has a lean and athletic body. Her breast are 36C cup size and her hips slightly prominent. She has a normal heart-shaped face with modest features such as thin lips and aquiline nose (Although one could easily say that her eyes draw attention).
Samina's body has few scars scattered throughout. In particular, the most perceptible is a claw shaped in her left shoulder and a wolf bite in her left thigh.
Attire:
Regardless of the occasion Samina Malbari is always seen wearing business suit—and frequently preening herself for just the right amount of bounce in her hair or glow in her face. She loves dark colors and her clothing selection consists of suits, trousers, sheath dresses, skirts, and others. She masks her height with heels, a collection which she’s proud and Samina’ll always use a pink Rolex watch.
As a SCAR agent, her standard weapons of choice are SCAR-L and, as sidearm, a USP Tactical. In missions she usually wears a tactical vest under her shirt and very rarely she'll wear SCAR standard uniform—all black tactical gear.
At home she is extremely casual.
Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
Salmina “Scottie” Malbari’s a sophisticated and yet cynical woman—a lovable creature with a charming, suave attitude and a disarming sense of humor. She is extremely polite, constantly acting with a sense of professionalism and etiquette—almost like she’s taunting people around. Scottie tends to be uncommitted to any cause and she prefers to stay in the sidelines—after all, its only business. And when it comes to business she’s trustworthy (this does not prevent her from “omitting” important matters).
Outside her job she is usually quiet and aloof, someone who does not enjoy or encourage what passes for polite conversations and finds the speed at which normal people interact almost unbearable. Like sitting in freeway traffic. So she tries to limit her social interactions with others as much as possible. In fact, it's almost like Scottie has an empty box in her mind, a sort of place she goes when she wants to disconnect from the world—which makes most people interpret her behavior as disdain (or mostly yell at her for attention). And this only reinforces her feelings of isolation and her perception of herself as an outspoken person.
Samina’s greatest fear is her power. The possibility of losing her mind and transforming into an animal, that the purpose is only behaving instinctively haunts her.
Hobbies/Interests:
Alcohol drinks—Samina loves drinks and cocktails—essentially any colored mixture of any alcoholic drink mixed with fruits with a mini-umbrella or olive on top. But nothing replaces a good wine or whiskey.
Random bits—the interest list is long: Cigarrettes, music, coffee (especially Irish coffee), travels, garden, architecture, art, reading, film classics etc.
Skills/Talents:
Advanced Military Training—Agent Malbari's as accomplished soldier as she’s a great military leader. She shot for the first time with an automatic rifle when she was only fifteen and since then is a species of passion and work at the same time. She’s trained as sharpshooter (designated marksman) whom role is to supply rapid accurate fire on enemy targets at ranges up to a maximum of 880 yards (800 m) with a rifle capable of semi-automatic fire equipped with a telescopic sight. Like snipers, DMs are trained in quick and precise shooting, but unlike the more specialized "true" sniper, they are an intrinsic part of an infantry fireteam and intended to lay down accurate rapid fire at valuable targets as needed, thus extending the reach of the fireteam. In addition to her military training, Samina’s trained in close combat and self-defense. Interestingly, she prefers handguns and close combat situations.
Languages—Samina is native Kurdish speaker but her knowledge extends beyon—she can speak and understand perfectly Persian and English.
First aid—over her years in the army, Samina learned combat casualty care.
Smooth Talk—rhetoric’s one of the weapons Ramina knows how to use and the deadliest in her arsenal. Neurolinguistic programming is part of her life as a constant study—from subtle gestures to business conversation. She tends to be this delightful and charming person you want to have around all the time. Scottie knows how to craft lies and diverge conversations with ease, manipulating them according to common interests. She also has an accomplished body control, such as knowing how to approach people and pretend to be friendly enough.
Cooking—She has some cooking abilit.
Goals/Motivation
SCAR—Samina’s main motivation is to rise in the confusing hierarchy of the organization.
Mission—Samina was sent to Baybridge in order to monitor Black Hound and prevent further damage to key assets in SCAR's (mainly her branch) outside policies.
History/Bio:
Samina Malbari grew up in the middle of the turbulent conflict between Syria and the terrorist and religious sect, Nur al-Allah. She is the eldest among five siblings, childrens of local farmers who kept far enough conflict with Turkey, but everything changed in 2013—when the Nur raids had become more frequent and a resistance war began to be fought.
In that same year, she was gifted her first Avtomat Kalashnikova, 1947 model, to maintain her family safety while her parents were out herding goats. Samina matured quickly in that period—the fear of having a loaded gun in her hands and the constant Islamist threat tends to do that. At fifteen she had became an adult in the body of a young woman.
At seventeen Samina joined the Women's Protection Units as designated marksman role. During a conflict in a Syrian village, the stress in Samina's mind was so high it triggered her “hidden” meta-human ability.
She spent three years in the hellhound form—hunting animals and humans for survival, until she was rescued by SCAR forces and a good deal of suppressant gas. They welcomed her and offered a position as a soldier, she reiceved training on how to control the ability and then more military training, destined to educate her in tactical and personnel talents—quickly moving up in the organization’s hierarchy.
When the drastic change took place inside SCAR, shuffling and breaking the hierarchy of the organization, Samina was chosen as one of the Agents responsible for representing the SCAR's efforts out there. Then, under the command of one of the few Inner Circle's members, her division was sent to stop Black Hound’s actions and to prevent other allied political forces of dying.
Relationships
Family:
Patune Ratnagar— mother Yari Malbari — father Sahel Malbari — brother Arusa Malbari — sister Hooshyar Malbari — brother
Dynamics:
Abilities
Power Class:
Super-System—Bestial
Power:
—Hellhound Physiology Samina Malbari is able to shift into a hellhound-like bestial form. Just like in folklore, her beast form resembles a black wolf, mangled black fur, glowing red eyes and strength. The creature is 33 inches (85 cm) tall at the shoulder and immune to fire—its tissues won't be damaged by fire or high temperature.
Limits:
Samina's senses, agility and strenght in hellhound transformation are on par with adult wolf’s.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The longer she remains in hellhound form, the less human she becomes. Her transformation is connected with her subconscious and when hurt or angered to an extreme (or any mental outbreak), she loses control and the hellhound overcomes her.
Other:
Scottie is her nickname in SCAR ranks.
Specialized Command Unit in Assault and Reconnaissance, SCAR
SCAR is famous for its role as one of the underworld’s primary sources of “freelance security consultants” (read: “mercenaries”). Unlike its competitors, SCAR is known for not asking too many questions when negotiating for contracts, and for not caring about the nature of the work it’s asked to provide. The organization began as a mercenary company during the Afghanistan War. Its founder, James Anderson, a veteran of several conflicts in wartorn areas of the world, struggled to keep his company afloat amid constant cultural revolutions in regions where SCAR operated.
In recent years, the company becomes something with a different agenda, having but one objective: the accumulation of wealth and influence. All other goals: expanding operations, gaining more powerful agents, acquiring more lucrative contracts, and the like, serve to further the company’s primary goal. And now is a loosely organized group, no set chain of command with a rough pecking order based on the ebb and flow of the Inner Circle’s personal power. Each member of the Inner Circle maintains independent bases of operation, each one having their own agents and mercenaries.
The lack of trust between members does not allow them to cooperate enough to build any communal space and their meetings almost always take place over encrypted video connections, rarely in person. Even though the members of the Inner Circle share a common allegiance to SCAR and its goals, their primary allegiance is usually to themselves and their own hidden agendas. Agents (or Field Operatives) are chosen to represent them in negotiations and to command mercenary forces.
SCAR is obviously an organization with flexible morals, to say the least. Its reputation is not particularly good, except with the sort of individuals who don’t care how a job is done, only that it is completed in a timely and efficient manner, with no questions asked. Those employed by SCAR are loyal to the company, primarily due to the exceptional wages paid them. The company deals with “traitors” harshly.
At present, the majority of SCAR's resources are scattered among the eight inner circle members. The company’s liquid assets are a bit limited to shady political donations, multinationals and contracts.
