Well, in any case Marianne would be looking for most any and all help she can get. Promote more character interaction between some. xD

Sult probably will need some big training after this. Like fully using her magic potential as priestess and stuff.

I mean... Tiral's looking for anti-electricity wards after last time. Fairly justified, in my opinion. =3=;;

And therefore makes a good Faraday cage, so if it was pure lightning, metal armors would make it harmless by dispersing it to the ground.

That's only if no part of the metal contacts your body. Armor suits don't just float off your skin.

Maybe Tiral shouldn't have tried to be hero and catch a 'charged' Marianne when she fainted. xD

That would've been funny though. Detailing a post where she face-planted. xDD

Even then, if there's a path of lesser resistance than the human body, it'll follow that path instead.

And there's quite a lot of interlock between plates.

Except that people are also constantly making constant contact with said armor with their bodies.

Also, water/ice mage combo with electricity. All you'd need to do is dissolve some salts or otherwise introduce some impurity into the water and, well... rip.

Even then, as a said, if there's enough interlock and thus enough lack of resistance, the body will be spared.

Tell you what. Let's properly suit you up in full armor and stand out in a lightning storm. Tell me how well that logic works for you. xDDD

Lack of resistance has less to do with how much the metal is touching itself and more to do with how conductive the metal is compared to the human body. In order for the electricity to completely ignore the human body when in contact with another conductor, it would have to be an insulator, which it most certainly is not.

Marianne would be too intimidated by Tyaethe to have her be instructor. Plus, something tells me she wouldn't be the most kind or understanding..

Tyaethe's not a magician.

It's a reference to an NPC I posted a while back.

Technically it is a conductor in parallel with a human body. And when resistance on the conductor is zero compared to the human body, it'll go through there instead of the human body.

The insulator part is there to ensure it goes through the conductor, and the metal isn't directly into touch with the human body neither... armors do have PADDING, which has AIR, an insulator.
