Nyxx Hollow

@dabombjk@Laach

For once Nyxx had her hair neatly done and the moment she stepped outside in the morning heat it all frizzed up and her hair went back to being deeply curled. Rather than fight it, she sighed and bundled it up like she had yesterday making a massive ball of hair standing up on top of her hair. Another thing she didn’t appreciate was that the sun seemed to be picking sides her being that her skin was darker than others she seemed to be cooking more than others. All this combined with the fact she was up at nine O’ clock in the morning was all so tiring as well as very annoying to say the least, she wanted to march right back into the pokecenter and go right back to bed. Nyxx’s eye were much lower than usual, which they were pretty low normally anyway, but at this point she might as well be walking while asleep, yawning and her head nodding were the only indication that she was actually awake.

Eventually Kyle asked her a question and by the grace of Arceus out of all the things she didn’t hear him say she heard him ask something actually important. She stretched out and lifted her head up with her eyes slightly open just enough to look at the map, but just as she was about to say something someone joined him forcing her to open her eyes up wider to see who it was.

“Oh its uhm Ummm….OZ!” she said snapping her finger to help her remember giving a weak smile before nodding off while still standing. She snapped back to reality immediately after however her switch was still off. “Oh….I was saying we should go to…ZzzZz…THE normal gym, catch pokemon and challenge that gym”

Kyle looked at the newcomer, and slightly jumped at Nyxx when she seemingly spurted out her thinking. Kyle sighed and closed his eyes.

"Butterfly calm down. And you, stranger, have just stumbled into a most fortunate situation. My partner is being of no help,"Kyle slightly smacked Nyxx upside the head softly.

"And I am too bad with directions, so you can be the deciding vote if you want. We are looking at my map on my pokedex and trying to find a place to go to catch one more pokemon before challenging the gym here."

Kyle showed the newcomer his pokedex.

Where do you think we should go? By the way I'm Kyle and this here is Nyxx."

Apparently he wasn't the only one who decided to skip out on caffeine today, as the girl seemed to be on the brink of fainting due to how much energy she's trying to output that she doesn't actually have. He takes his eyes off of the girl to observe the map displayed before him. Knowing that there was a map on his device may have been helpful earlier, but then again he can't recall an occurence where he needed it before now. He automatically identifies the coastal region of the map where he had been training beforehand. Not that far from the pokemon center, but then he recalls the arduous events it took to get to this town in the first place. Where was his place of origin again? It didn't really matter.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat the question?" He asks, snapping himself out of that rather pitiable amazement over a map. "Wait, nevermind I remember. You wanted to know where to go in preperation for the normal type gym, right? Well I was planing to head there as well eventually. Honestly if you can find a fighting type pokemon, that would work wonders on your chances. The path leading there could possibly have a timburr or if you're lucky, even a heracross. I'd be happy to assist you in your search, as well as protect us from any pokemon that attempt to mauraud us along the way." After he finishes looking over the map, he takes his pokeball and starts tossing it up and down in his hand with semi-idle impatience to get on with his newly concocted plan. "My name is Orez, not the wizard that your... friend here thinks I am. Not that I mind the nickname too much," he shrugs.

Alexandria "Alexis" Deva

At the Pokemon Center

@Heckno12

Alexis woke up with yawn and a stretch. It was morning, Her team was rested as well, and she felt that they were ready for a new day. No more bad luck, no more losses, and no more dawdling. She grabbed a fresh dress from her bag, washed up, and got ready for the journey ahead. She let out her Snorunt, since the two couldn't possibly go anywhere without each other, and she needed her just in case one of the recent additions to her team came out and misbehaved.

After packing everything up, she left the room, and made her way to the exit. On her way out, she noticed the TV showing a broadcast of an investigation on the "Team" evildoers that plagued this region. To that, she laughed and said,

"Hmph. Team Noble? There's no need to worry about them. They're destined to fall. After all, they're purpose is to lose to me."

As she looked around, she noticed a familiar face. It was one of those trainers from yesterday. The one that managed to trick her into battling too early into her journey.

"You're that neysayer from yesterday. What're you doing here?

In a moment, her look of confusion was replaced with a cocky smile.

"Wait, don't tell me. You wanted to lose to me so much that you waited for me here, didn't you?"

Rheese blinked at the girl in front of him with slight disbelief. "Who says 'naysayer' anymore?" He asked, it sounded semi-archaic to him. "And really, you're not the one I have any business battling. It'd be a waste of time and energy for both of us, I'm sure you can at least agree on that." Nothing he said was false, but what he really wanted to say was that he didn't want to have a battle between his Wooper and her Snorunt, it could very easily drag on for a while. Besides, whether Alexis won or lost she would probably still have that snide attitude about it.

Rheese had to admit though, given the type disadvantage she had been at against Oscar...she still did pretty well. Not that it justified her attitude.

He turned to the door. "I have a gym to visit, and I'm guessing you probably do too." He sighed, knowing he'd likely regret what he was about to say. "And I suppose since we're headed in the same direction there's no harm in us both going at the same time. I'm sure we'll meet up with a few of the others."

Kero

@LuckyBlackCat

Well hed to admit he haden't expected her to make such a trick along with a simple introduction, nor had he expected to run into a psychic girl in a place like this. A Psycher?... wow, I haden't expected someone like you to run around with a dark type of all things... as its pretty much the opposite of your type." he commented as it was quite true, Purrloin was a dark type, and while he knew some dark type could learn psychic abilities he would have guessed it would be hard for someone to connect on a mental level with one. However he figured that it would be his turn to introduce himself now, unless she already knew who he was... but he guessed that if she really could easily read minds she wouldn't spend time with him. However he didn't have much of a fancy trick to show, he didn't know any that could top that, and even if he had he wasen't one to show off at a standard basic.

He glanced to the Eevee still on his shoulder and then to her again. "I am Eld K-nine Cerberus... Codename: Kero. " he replied and did a simple bow before getting up again. "This is Dusty the Eevee... And I'm a Eevee breeder" he finished quite anti climatic. He followed her while they spoke "I suppose your not the everyday companion... so yeah, it'll be fun" he said and shrugged.

Sophia Danvers

Windshire Beach

@Iatos

Finally, somebody who gave her more recognition than Oscar or Alexis did. “That could explain a few things...” she responded to his comment about Purrloin. Maybe that was why she was having so much trouble with the Dark-type Pokemon.

She let a snicker escape as he introduced himself. Codename? “Heh, somebody likes his spy movies... I guess it’s nice to meet you, Kero. And you too, Dusty.” Even if this Kero guy seemed a little on the eccentric side, he at least treated her with the respect she deserved. Her grin widened. “You made your choice well,” she said as she headed onto the beach. “Come on then! Let’s see what we can find.”

Beachcombing wasn’t something she’d done before, but how difficult could it be? She’d heard valuable items could be found that way, and she could do with a little extra cash.

A Pokeball at her belt popped open. “Gothi-ta!” the perpetually-fascinated Pokemon squealed, staring ahead. Sophia’s haughty grin softened into a gentle smile as she patted Gothita, gazing out with her. The sea truly was a beautiful sight, glimmering, lapping at the shore. Breathing in the salt-scented air, Sophia closed her eyes. This was the perfect, calming atmosphere after a stressful start to the day, quiet, only a few people around. If she focused, she didn’t even have to turn to know they were there. She could faintly sense presences around her, those of Gothita and Kero, and flickers behind her as other people took early morning walks. The energy pulses faded from her awareness as she opened her eyes, bringing her attention back to the beach.

“You want to help me look for items here?” she asked Gothita. The Pokemon nodded. Strolling along the beach with Gothita at her side, Sophia glanced around. Seaweed, pebbles, more seaweed. No sign of any sea glass or shiny metal. If only she had a metal detector. Or the ability to dowse for items, like some of the other psychics she knew. Would Kero think she was wasting his time?

A metallic glint caught her eye. “Aha! I knew there had to be something around here!” With a triumphant smirk, she looked at the half-buried object, making it unearth itself, she didn’t want to get sand under her nails after all... Her smirk vanished. A bottle cap? She let the piece of trash fall. “Uh... Ignore that!” she said to Kero, giving the back of her neck a nervous rub.

“Ita!” Gothita pointed at the sea. Something shimmered under the water – some kind of jewel, from the look of it.

“Finally!” Sophia hoped it wouldn’t turn out to be a bottle or some other piece of garbage, but she had to take this chance before the object could get swept out. No sooner had she focused her power on it, though, than she let go in surprise. She hadn’t expected it to be that heavy... and there it was again, that thrum of life force...

The jewel flared brilliant red and burst from the sea, revealing five pointed limbs protruding from it. Spinning in the air and landing on the shore, it sprayed a jet of water around. Sophia didn’t have time to block with the parasol. “Ack! I didn’t know!” she spluttered as she stumbled back, toppling into a heap of seaweed. Gothita fell next to her, immediately jumping up, brushing wet sand off herself. Sophia raised her head. She had no idea how a Pokemon without a face could glare, but the Staryu that stood a few feet away from her seemed to be doing just that.

As Gothita faced the Staryu, it turned towards her, accepting the challenge despite its obvious displeasure at having been woken up. “Gothita, Confusion!” Sophia called, staggering to her feet, recognising how this latest mishap could be turned into an opportunity. The wild Pokemon managed to get another Water Gun in, but Gothita retaliated, knocking the Staryu back with an energy burst. Another spray of water, another energy wave, and the Staryu nearly fell. Sophia threw a Pokeball, which opened, closed, rocked, before settling on the sand.

Gothita took one look at her trainer and doubled over giggling. Looking down at herself, Sophia cringed. Sand and crushed seaweed clung to her sopping wet clothes, her frills dripping slime. She forced a slightly awkward smile. “Ha! I did it! Three Pokemon already!” she shouted, head held high, gunk-covered parasol tilted. She made the Pokeball circle around her a few times before reaching out, grasping it and holding it up in an exaggerated pose. She had to save face in front of Kero.

“We’d better head back to the Pokecentre,” she said to the tired Gothita before returning her and clipping the Pokeballs to her belt. She turned towards Kero. He’d better not laugh at her. “Ugh... I’m gonna have to get cleaned up anyway. I can’t exactly challenge the gym like this.” She hoped none of the other travellers would still be at the Pokecentre to see her in that state.

Kero

@LuckyBlackCat

They seemed to have just about left as she laughed to his mention of a code name, sure other people probably called it a 'Nickname or pet-name' but for Kero himself it was more of a code name for more reasons than the most obvious one. "I like it shaken, not stirred..." he replied and chuckled slightly himself as he caught onto the Spy movie thing, it was actually not such a bad cover up either... if she was fine with thinking of him as a spy movie nerd it was something that would greatly benefit him in the long run.

Then they headed off, and seemed to end up on a beach near the ocean when Sophia started to look around and thought that she would find something precious within the ten first minutes they actually spent there. Kero rolled his eyes at this, he didn't really mind being here on the beach, especially not with a lady at his side... it was almost like a first date of sorts. But Kero didn't really disturb her, he watched her go about her business and found that it was qutie interesting to watch her getting all hyped up and disappointed over finding a bottle cap. He walked up behind the two of them and gently picked up the bottle cap once more, giving it a few twirls in his hand as he held it up towards the light.

He then chuckled slightly "Oooh... a Soda pop cap from the plantium edition, that's very rare... " he said as he put it into his pocket after snapping a photo off it, he intended to sell it to a collector for some real cash. He then glanced to Sophia again "I bet I could get a thousand for this cap of yours... but really, if you want to borrow my dowsing device you could just ask you know" he said and chuckled slightly...

By this point however the two of them seemed to get themselves into trouble with a local Starmie, it made Kero facepalm slightly as he watched them get all hyper once more and almost get drenched by its water type attacks... he watched the rather straight forward fight, it was not very graceful to say the least... it was lucky for them that the Starmie happened to be weak enough for them to overpower it. "That... was interesting... " he mentioned, which was probably the nicest thing he could say about such a sloppy battle. A Gym battle would be far away from this girl's grasp, but in a way it was something she had to find out for herself.

Kero raised a brow towards her mention of needing to return to the pokémon center, "No. We shall not bail to the pokémon center just yet Sophia... what we should do is to take a break... come on" he said as he suddenly took the lead to what looked like a campsite on the beach, there he attached a rope to two poles and pulled out a towel. "Hang your clothes up to dry, it won't take long in this sunlight. And let Gothita back out... as she haven't' fainted yet you should give it an healing herb or berry" he said as he put some wood on the camp fire and then glanced to Dusty. "Dusty... Hellfire!" he called out causing the Eevee to leap up in the air and growl slightly at the logs, and in that moment Kero lit it ablaze with his lighter.

He then laughed slightly as he sat down. "First rule of adventuring... always come prepared" he said as he kicked back and waited for the fire to settle down a bit.

Sophia Danvers

Windshire Beach

Sophia winced at the way Kero said the word "interesting". Of course, he was still completely clean and dry, which just highlighted what an utter mess she looked. "What? I just got my third Pokemon and that's all you have to say?" she yelled as she stomped after him, seaweed slopping from her ruffles onto the sand. It was bad enough that he'd gone and put away the bottle cap, claiming it for himself. "And that thing's valuable? You're kidding, right...? Hey, I found it first!" She huffed. He really did seem insistent on wasting time at this campsite. "Fine then. I'm sure I can get plenty of cash from the gym battle anyway. You just watch."

She gave a hollow laugh as Kero set up a clothes line and started setting up a fire. "Seriously? You think I've got nothing better to do?" This part of the beach was busier, and she wasn't going to hang around looking like a drowned Rattata... nor was she going to change her clothes in front of Kero. "And in case you've already forgotten, I have more than one Pokemon who needs healing." She looked at the Pokeball that contained her newest Pokemon. She didn't have any berries or potions, and even if this guy did, would he have enough for both Gothita and Staryu? The Pokecentre was a better way of healing them anyway, and not far from the beach.

"Suit yourself," she sneered as she turned away, glancing over her shoulder. She'd thought he respected her, but now he just seemed like another Oscar, acting as if he knew best. "It's a shame you won't see me get my gym badge, but I'll tell you all about it later. Then let's see if you can do the same." With that, she strode from the beach, hurrying towards the Pokecentre, leaving a trail of green drips. She was especially glad there were few people around. Hopefully, the centre would also be reasonably empty.

Inside the Pokecentre

Once inside, Sophia stopped in her tracks. How could Rheese still be there? Hadn't he planned on preparing for the upcoming gym battle? Even worse, there stood the wannabe star who'd laughed at her the day before. And she'd thought what had happened in front of Kero had been humiliating enough. She wanted to hide away in a hole, out of their sight.

Masking her embarrassment with a facade of pride, she held out the Pokeball as she squelched her way towards the desk. "Either of you got your third Pokemon yet?" she boasted, nonetheless bracing herself for their comments.

Rheese Laudat

Pokemon Center

@OtomostheCrazy@LuckyBlackCat

"Nope, what'd you-" Rheese started to respond before noticing that Sophia was soaked. After quickly inspecting his Pokeball to be completely certain Wooper wasn't there he let out a sigh. "I'm going to guess it's a water type. They uh, seem to like to do...well, that." He said lightly chuckling, now he knew someone shared his pain.

Taking another sip from the Styrofoam cup of coffee he had gotten earlier. It wasn't particularly good, but it was better than nothing. Rheese was glad that Sophia had come back, this meant that he wouldn't have to attempt to go with Alexis to the gym...but he would probably be treated to a bit of arguing between the two. Heh, well he'd be lying if he said it didn't sound entertaining.

"They probably have some towels you can use. This works out great, now I don't have to go wi- I mean now we can all go to the gym as a group."
Rheese said feigning a smile. As much as he'd love to berate Alexis, it probably wouldn't be very wise. Truth be told, he was a bit nervous about meeting this town's gym leader. From the sounds of things he favored his personal image above the well being of the town, which really didn't bode well for a gym battle. He could probably expect Vincent to go full force despite dealing with new trainers.

Nyxx Hollow

@dabombjk@Laach

A great deal of information was said nearly all of it was completely forgotten as Nyxx wasn’t paying attention to half of it, maybe she did need coffee afterall this was the first time she had ever actually gotten up this early, hell the sun was in full effect and beaming down on her dark colored skin. Out of the things that were said she understood that Kyle wanted to challenge this gym while OZ voted to traveling to the normal gym. After all, that was said, she sort of dozed off with her eyes open and head nodding as if she understood what was going on and where she was at this point in time, as the only thing running circles around her head was where was the bed and how could she catch the elusive ‘Z’s she oh so desperately craved. Eventually she was woken up by the word ‘wizard’ she sprung to life like that somehow flipped her switch.

“I say we go to the normal gym because think about it, we just caught flying Pokemon, I can’t even control Lupin, yet and yours barely even knows you, to top it all off none of us are that familiar with fighting flying Pokemon with flying Pokemon, as in we don’t know the tactics, moves, maneuvers etc.” she explained at a hyper fast pace speaking so profound like this was a fully thought out and prepared speech.

She took a deep breath in before returning to the thesis “Furthermore if we travel to a different city, not only will we catch different pokemon that aren’t thieving birds, we can also challenge a gym that’s more formal to the basic skills of battling that were accustomed too; furthermore we should….should…..shoul…ZzzZZzzZ” her explination was cut drastically short when she switch ran out of juice and returned Nyxx to her original state, lazy, uncaring, and completely unaware she even said anything. Shoring she was literally dead to the world sleep, standing right up, eyes closed.

Kero

@LuckyBlackCat

As his idea of showing the girl the importance of not exploiting a Pokémon center whenever you ran into a bit of trouble, and Especially not when one was having trouble with their economy was 'whatever sauce'd'. Kero gave the girl a head start as he said nothing and packed back up.

When he reached the Pokémon center himself he went into the right and leaned towards the wall as she didn't seem to want to listen to him anyway which made trying to strike a conversation useless. She also seemed to bed to busy chatting up others to be worth his time at this moment.

Oscar decided to heed the receptionist's words for now. After checking his bag for the basic supplies, Oscar hits the road ,heading towards the next town. Oscar looks at the map of the region and at the tourist brochure. "The next town is called Mesalon. I wonder what we will find there. Hey RR?" Roadrunner chirps happily. "At least it is a nice day to hike. I wonder what all of the other trainers are doing? Maybe we will see them at Mesalon." After some time of walking, Oscar looks up at the sun at its highest peak. "RR, are you okay with stopping and relax in the shade for a little bit? Maybe I can let out skool and you two can play." Roadrunner runs around Oscar, jumps up and down and chirps excitedly. Oscar releases Skoll (growlithe). Roadrunner goes up to him and speaks in pokespeak to him. After some back and forth, they finally play happily together. Oscar smiles at them. "Don not go to far you two"

Alex looked up as he saw Sophia enter the Pokémon Center yet again. He had come back from his room after changing his clothes because of a coffee stain. He refilled his cup and took another sip. "Either one of you get your Pokémon yet?" Alex sighed, realizing he still only had Beldum. If he was going to challenge the gym, he needed more than just the one Pokémon. "No I haven't, but I'm planning to get one today. Say, I don't know where your headed today, but you mind if I tag along? I might be able to get my next Pokémon while we're out there."

Alexandria "Alexis" Deva

At the Pokemon Center

@Heckno12@LuckyBlackCat

Alexis was about to respond to Rheese about how much smarter he had become. She would have congratulated him on figuring out that he was not ready to lose to someone as great as her and her pokemon. Instead, something else caught her attention. It was a familiar sight at first, but for some reason it was funny. Unreasonably funny. It was as if someone tried to paint a picture of Alexis' memory of the person, but went insane halfway, and added in wet, slime-covered clothes, and hanging seaweed.

Alexis laughed, and Snorunt wiggled as if she was shaking her head at the whole thing. Alexis was so wrapped up in her laughs that she couldn't immediately answer the question. She tried to calm down, but after hearing that Rheese hadn't gotten at least half a team yet, she began laughing again. Snorunt had to violently move about in order to catch her attention and calm her down again.

The star-to-be cleared her throat and spoke,

"I caught my third member yesterday, which is more than what can be said for the two of you."

She raised her arms and shook her head. On her face was a smiling expression, as if she had expected something like this to have happened all along.

"One of you doesn't even have have half a team, and the other had so much trouble with her new catch that she's covered in its slime."

Alexis laughed a bit more, but kept it down this time.

"And you want to take on the gym leader? It's actually quite a funny thought. You're lucky I'm going too. My presence might even help you luck your way into a win."

Sophia Danvers

Inside the Pokecentre

@Heckno12 @Iatos @AbysmalDemon @OtomostheCrazy

All Sophia could do at first was stand frozen to the spot. She could feel her face turning beetroot red with embarrassment and anger as the girl cracked up in hysterics. Not only that, but the person who'd seen the trashed room had just re-entered the lobby. It would take a lot of work to prove herself in front of these people.

"Oh really?" she sneered at the girl. She'd have the last laugh yet, she'd make sure of it. "Like we need your help. At least that way you'll get to watch me. You'll learn a thing or two. Heh, you need to, considering how you did yesterday." She raised her head in a display of pride. A piece of rotting algae slid from her hair and splattered onto her shirt.

Ugh... She couldn't face this group any more. Turning back to the desk, she passed the Pokeballs to the nurse. Glancing back up at the broken lights, she instantly regretted returning. Maybe Kero had been right. She'd have to stock up on potions with what little money she had left, or find some berries. These machines could heal Pokemon in no time, but how much energy did they use? "Here's a little more to go towards what happened earlier," she mumbled, handing over a small amount of money. She checked how much she still had - just about enough for one, maybe two potions, and some food. Hopefully she'd get a decent amount of cash from the gym battle.

At least the guy she'd spoken to earlier hadn't reacted too badly, and neither had Rheese. "Well, I was going to head to the gym. If you're not quite ready, feel free to watch. I'm sure I'll set you a good example," she replied to the man's question. "Once I'm cleaned up, that is." As the nurse passed her a towel, she took it and disappeared into the women's bathroom.

She re-emerged some time later in her change of clothes, a matching purple waistcoat and skirt, and a clean white shirt, free of seaweed sludge. With her travel detergent, she'd got most of the algae stains out of her other clothes and dried them the best she could with the towel and hand dryer, but she'd probably still have to leave them out in the sun for a while. At least this had been a more private place to get changed than the beach, around that Kero guy. There had been plenty of rocks to hide behind, but still... Retrieving the Pokeballs from the nurse, she turned back to the rest of the group, her usual grin on her face. "Anyone ready to go?"

Orez Shrin

@dabombjk@Noxx
Orez viewed Noxx's brief taste of life and could only think of one thing. Literally worse than a slaking.
It seems they had finally decided that his plan was superior to the others in more ways than one. That he liked. What he didn't approve of was the sudden unasked for promotion to navigator of the team. "W-what? Why me?! You're the one with the map, -I mean. Sigh~" He places his hand up to his forehead to calm himself down and think. "Fine, whatever. It's practically straightforward anyway." He takes out his dex for navigation. Figures that he'd be the one leading them, afterall it was originally his idea.

The group begins travelling to Mesalon (after a quick visit to the pokestore of course to stock up on whatever they need) and makes it upon the entrance of the first route. Due to the lack of civilization, the route has yet to display a sign telling them which route it actually was. It would henceforth be reffered to as route 101 according to Orez. The route was rather bright and open, with flowers, only a few trees, and one or two ponds to complete the simple scenery. Butterfree can be seen flying through the air, along with a flock of swablu. Or maybe those are clouds. Hard to tell really. It would be quite breathtaking if it weren't for his less than competent freinds. If you can even call them that, as they have been a little unfriendly since his first encounter with them.

Having to drag them along has been an ordeal. Noxx seemed to be slightly more awake since they had left, after causing a scene in the pokestop twice of course. Actually the second scene might have been caused by his own attempts at waking her. Apparently potions sting when sprayed in the eyes. Who woulda thunk? And then there's mister push all of the worlds problems on someone else, aka Kyle. Don't even get started on that guy...

All in all, Orez was having a pretty crappy day, and his traveling partners were being of no help. Hopefully something interesting would happen soon to chear him up... He looks up into the sky to see a rainbow colored flying pokemon go by... "Must be a braviary" he mumbles to himself before looking back down at his pokedex to get on to the task at hand.

After a while of traveling, they had seen a multitude of pokemon. Including but not limited to a giant tree filled with Spinarak and Ariados, a Furret and Dunsparce sleeping together, and a traveling mask salesman. Wearing his new Golem mask, Orez comments his thoughts to his team mates. "I think now's a good a time as any to take a lunch break. I know it's not quite midday yet, but we did wake up pretty early." They were currently in a small clearing with no pokemon in sight. Orez tossed his bag on the ground and started unzipping it. "Did you guys bring lunch for yourselves?"

Kero

@LuckyBlackCat@OtomostheCrazy@AbysmalDemon

He stood there watching what could only be explained as a bunch of children bragging over who got the most toys with one only looking sillier than the others, it made him seriously reconsider going with them but then again it would be even more useful if he did seeing how they would serve as a good distraction with their complete newb attitudes. He facepalmed to the fact that they all was going to challenge the gym the first thing they did, obviously he could already tell that the whole bunch of them was going to loose very badly since none of them seemed to have any experience as trainers which usually also ment that their pokémons unlikely had any experience as well. It was to this point that he almost felt bad for the gym leader which had to deal with these kids... perhaps he had like a 3 pokémon rule or something... which would mean that only one of these newbies would actually qualify to challange him which would make everything so much faster....

The Newbie would call out a pokémon, see it get whalloped and then try the next one if the Gym leader didn't end the battle right there saying that it was useless to continue if they had that little experience. Kero just kept staying leaned towards the wall and occasionally reached up to pet the Eevee that was riding on his shoulder. When the kids finished their bragging and Sophia returned from the bathroom he finally heard the only sensable sentance in the whole discussion so far. 'Who is ready to go?' such a easy question that it should have been asked first and skipped all this drama nonsense. "Yeah, lets just get it over with" he said with clear disinterst as he walked outside, he didn't really have the patience to wait for everyone's replies... especially not when he felt that the pokémon center was really depressing and all.

Nyxx Hollow

@dabombjk@Laach

With that sudden outburst of the way Nyxx went back to being a perfectly functioning half zombie, complete with grunting and groggy moans which was good because OZ was navigating anyway, so that meant all she had to do was follow which was great in her book. OZ seemed to be a bit of a know-it-all and thought quite highly of himself, this was probably the only thing Nyxx actually observed while practicing her ‘sleep walking’; all in all, she was an ok person to say the least and would be the perfect amount of ‘go getter’ they would need to progress through life as trainers. Nothing but incoherent mumbles could be heard from Nyxx ever since they left town as she formulated her own opinions and attempted to share them.

An incident at the pokemart left her a little bitter as her switch was flipped when the store clerk was attempting to smooth talk his way into over charging them. Putting her foot on the counter her and the clerk argued back and forth over the cost of the items in question before eventually she won and her switch was flipped back off. During which her brain shuts down from over exertion completely negated her need to breath so her spit sort of just collected in her mouth like a bird bath until OZ had the brilliant idea to make her swallow a super potion most of his getting in her eyes due to his horrid aim, how he could catch a Pokémon was beyond her. The stinging pain from her eyes lead to her releasing both Bunneary and Swablu who reeked complete havoc in the mart fighting until they were all kicked out and were issued a permeate ban.

Needless to say her morning had been horrid OZ and Kyle both annoyed her equally, but alls well that ends well or something like that. Once the idea of a break was issued Nyxx didn’t give Kyle the chance to say anything before falling down on her fact and taking a suede nap, she didn’t have anything to eat so sleeping was the next best option.
