Also, I was giving Austronaut another day to post. She let me know she is busy moving internationally so she can go over the limit, but I'd rather not continue and bypass her character. Though I will if need be soon. @rush99999 Her character would be safe of course.

Well, it seems Austronaut didn't have time to reply the past day or so, and she'll be traveling internationally this next week. It's cool though, she's busy and sometimes it happens. Expect a post for everyone from me within 24 hours. Luckily I have no work tomorrow

And now, the epic final confrontation of round 1 is finally here!

Was it matchlocks that became useless when wet or am I thinking about flintlocks?

@rush99999both of them. You'd need percussion ones to be able to be used in rain or water. Though your guys can hold stuff above their heads of course.

@frapetActually don't post until I tell you it's ok. But after a good sleep, I'll fill you in on all that has transpired. Your character is currently offscreen moving with a team that is comprised of NPCs.

Am I correct in the assumption that there are no stepping stones or fallen logs bridging the gully nearby? You didn't say if there were any, but you also didn't say if there weren't any either.

@frapetAlright bud, you and everyone else came upon the Mountain Fortress of Hillcrest. Kayden showed you and the group a backway going down the slope of the opposite mountain which lead to Dwarven carved stairs up to a backdoor of the Castle. Cassilda opened it up with her magics, and then Nuva the Dark Skayleigh ran in and utterly annihilated two very bored sentries playing chess. Kayden runs in and kills another before he can stab Nuva. The rest of the group walks in, and they find themselves in a small prison. A pretty Elven Rogue is behind bars, one that is revealed to be Kayden's informant on how he knew who each and everyone here was. Her name is Secret, having been captured the night before. Cassilda then heard footsteps and ran further in, killing one man, knocking over others and sending a few down the stairs.
That was when I used your character as an NPC when Kayden ordered him to take care of the disoriented criminals, and Halbark tossed an Alchemical firebomb at the stairs, killing the 4-5 bandits that were hurt and sliding down in an agonizing death. Cassilda still had one guy she was wrestling with, who Kayden killed.

Your character, along with a few other people's NPC's (who either left the game or went over the time limit) are in one part of the castle now. When you show up again, I will let you know. Probably this weekend).
