Fatherland is caught by surprise by the sound of glass shattering. Scouting for the source, she finds the remains of a vase, but no perpetrator yo be found. "I feel like I scared someone." Fatherland deduces, shaking her finger. "Whoever you are, I said I was sorry. This was meant to be cool, not... awkward. I'll even pay for the vase if you were offended."

Specter never heard the door crashing. When the boy went toppling into his seat, Specter couldn't help but smile in confused amusement.

@DancingEagle
Turning around, he saw what had startled the boy, a girl toting around a big ass gun. Her goofball presence did not intimidate Specter one bit. Her mind was filled with innocent thoughts at the moment.

@Dark LightWhile the boy had never finished speaking his name, it did escape his mind as he was preparing to say it.
"Sorry Arlen, I don't mean to take amusement in your discomfort. When you're as old as I am, you tend to take things lighter." As Arlen spoke his last statement about dying, Specter sensed something... more. "You make it sound like you know what it's like to die. How would you know? I'm just curious."

"Well at least you value your safety however..." the wood elf kept a finger on the page the tomb had been open to so as not to spread the drying ink as he flipped back through the book "I do not believe I've heard or been to a place by the name of Dunwich" resting the book back on it original page before he started to fiddling with his one of his many containers and bags.

After a small struggle Koru produced scroll rolled that he out into a map of his world, the map's paper felt like fine silk to the touch but did not seem to stain even after the clumsy elf split a few drops of his wine when a loud bang echoed through the tavern. For once Krou didn't seem to pay much more than a glance assuming it was a child or apprentice in training playing games. Everything about the map screamed that of a higher class of elf than that of even a noble wood elf from the gold filigree laid into the boarders to the flourishes on the town names.

"Could you perhaps point it out on this map for me?"

Ayeka lets Ben enjoy his pizza, "I am doing ok..." She notices that the newcomer with energy and a bit playful went over to examin a broken vase. She looks over to the girl who wanted a room. "Let me get the keys for the rooms," Ayeka says as she slips behind the bar. She flips through the keys and takes one of the key ring and hands it to the girl with dark hair and looks tired.

Ben smiles to Ayeka. "Cool, glad you got some time to yourself." he said, nodding past the Elf to the girl who seemed a bit nervous. She had glanced his way at least. He turned on his bar stool and faced the woman that had walked up asking Ayeka for a room. Well, he supposed the Elf couldn't get a break for very long. He was sure it was just a small bit of time before she came back though. He gave them both a smile and a wave, and then he began to chow down on his pizza. "Oh man this is good." he said, his voice husky with hunger.

'As old as you are' The thought stood alone and loud in reply, in Arlen's mind. It's context mysterious and unreadable.

"haha, if I had died I wouldn't be here talking to you would I? I guess I just don't want to find out what it's like. Say can you eat or even drink for that matter? I'm getting pretty hungry again!"

As Arlen changes topic his spirits lift and he climbs out of his booth looking towards the bar.

"Oh, this place has rooms here too?" Fatherland whistles. "That's quite fancy indeed." Fatherland snags the keys from Ayeka's hands. "Where I come from, we used to say 'If someone gives you something - take it; if someone takes something away from you - run away'." Fatherland pauses for a second. "It works better in my native tongue, I assure you. It rhymes and everything. Anyways, thank you, I guess I'll stay here for a bit."

Fatherland takes another sip from her Whiskey shot, looking for someone to talk to. Off the corner of her eye, she sees Ben giving her a smile and a wave. She gives him a quick salute and runs towards him, jumping towards a couch in front of him. "That pizza sure looks good", she utters, "I'm Lilith, but please call me Fatherland. Most assuredly, you were impressed or horrified by my entrance. Good start, but bad finish. Still don't regret a thing."

"Well at least you value your safety, however..." Koru trailed off as he flicked through his book. Hardwick watched the pages fly past at blinding speed - occasionally he could make out an odd symbol or lines of script in a foreign tongue. "... I do not believe I've heard or been to a place by the name of Dunwich." With a sigh, Koru returned to his original page and began rummaging through his bags before producing a beautifully hand-drawn and gold embellished map, written on the finest paper Hardwick had ever laid eyes on. "Could you perhaps point it out on this map for me?"

Hardwick looked carefully at the map. It was of a continent he didn't recognise, and the places were names he couldn't pronounce - Irish, maybe? 'Erm...' His fingers rapped on the bar, his expression belaying confusion. 'Just one second.' He wasted no time in tearing a blank page from his journal, scribbling furiously an incredibly rough map of Miskatonic County. 'Here...' He said as he scribbled a name on the map. '... Is Dunwich, and over here....' He drew a star on the map and scrawled a name above it. '... Is Sutton's Gorge, where I was before I found this place.'

"No, I do not have the ability to eat or drink. But I will gladly join you at the bar. There seem to be some interesting characters that way."

Specter 'stepped' backwards away from Arlen as he stood out of the booth. He didn't wish to be 'touched'. He never liked being reminded that he wasn't quite... 'real'.

Specter then gestured towards the bar, looking to Arlen. "You lead the way friend. I sense that you are quite familiar with this place."

"Ah, that is a shame... They do a really delicious red.
It has a unique detailed texture, with an opulent fruit-driven flavour and a savoury character. Ahh, a refined red like that, full of finesse, just does wonders along side a juicy duck or pork leg.
" his voice playfully accentuates and bounces along the words with his excitement.

The boy was clearly now daydreaming of a meal he didn't have as he stared off into the air, a sparkle in his eye and a grumble in his stomach.
He blindly and effortlessly lead Specter towards the bar.
Only Arlen didn't stop when he neared the group, he passed them by and ducked out of site as he scampered behind the bar and started rustling through the cupboards.

The pounding in her head which had slowed her down before returned sharply as her appearance totally changed. Angrily making her way towarfs the girl.

"Keys give them here.. Now obnoxous girl. "

Her hands clenching together. She wanted rest not games. Why did it always have to be games that people played.

Ayeka is mad too as the keys were not for Fatherl but for the other girl. At least the keys are frozen to Fatherland's hand from her own magic. Ayeka did not put away the keys to the rooms guessing that someone else wants a room. She notices a guy looking through the cupboards and she kicks him in the side. She hopes that get his attention, "if you need something just ask."

Fatherland notices a peculiar woman walking towards her. She does not look happy. She inquires about the keys. "Oh shit, it's yours! I--" Fatherland quickly pulls the keys out of her pocket and hands them to the girl. "Goddammit, I'm-- I'm sorry, it seems like I'm only causing trouble these days. Do you want anything from the bar? I'll-- I'll pay for it!" Fatherland seemed uncharacteristically concerned and embarrassed for a stranger for once.

Willow scratched her head as she walked back into the main tavern room. She left the robot where it was happily doing the only thing it new how to do, more importantly, it allowed her to not work, though technically she was working since she made the robot. She was wearing a dove grey tank top with black pants and boots. She also wore a knife sheathed at her hip and her hair hung in two long bright red braids going down to her waist. She made her way to a nice slightly dark corner of the room to watch the events of the Tavern life.

Her appearance calmed down at the girls egar compliance. It was probably my her lack of food and rest geting the best of her emotional output. Keeping the keys clutched in one hand Jet moves from the girl. Towards @Alisdragon911 at the bar. Grabbing from her pocket a wallet letting it fall rather harshly onto the counter.

"Payment for the room. "

As her anger and defense subsided she walked up the stair case. Her boots clicking asinst the wooded floors much harder than she would have liked.

The rustle of leaves was all to be heard against the clear setting sky. Colorful it was to see the hue of warmth fleeing from the blue of night. Which hailed more wind at her back as she ran. The howl of wolves around her as she to pitched into that song.
Fatefully till what cold have been mistaken as a rock made a sound that shock the ground. Bringing her and the pack to a halt in front of it.

Bears how she hated the creatures. Growling and snarling caring only about themselves and then only the females who care much for of spring. She hated them as much as she could hate a creature like herself. They had fought many bears to move pass but the aching of her legs had a sense she wouldn't last long.

Hesitantly glancing around the thinning forest he spotted a faint glow. Humans dealt with bears much easier than her wolves would. They own guns to deal with these. In an action of preservering all life she ran towards the source. Hearing the wolves get the idea slowly to the forestthey returned. The bear coming after her quickly as the distractions ran off. Halting at the door to the place hesitantly she opens it, slipping inside as the growl of the large creature could be heard. Easily slaming the door shut leaning against it. She payed little mind to those on the inside of the building. More on the fact she could have let a bear inside and how stupid it was of an idea.
"Они будут беспокоиться обо мне.." She mumbled catching her breath.(translation. They will worry about me.)

A slow turn as she stood up straight as her fur hood fell down to her shoulders letting the mess of hair fall into her face. Swiftly she brushes it behind her ears. Her eyes latching onto the details of the place.
"Such a pretty building."

Ben sat there chewing his pizza slowly as he watched the events unfold before him. The girl that had leaped in front of him and posed on the couch had literally just taken some keys meant for that oft silent woman, who demanded her keys back with the aid of Ayeka. It must have been comical, the dark haired young man staring at the three women, doing nothing but chewing pizza and not even getting a chance to speak. "Well...at least it's solved now, yeah?"

{"I insist, please. I am not afraid to be trusted in, neither am I reproachful of being denied access to your memory." Zyrid spoke with Alex's mind.

It made things more intimate, in a strange, probing manner.

"Reveal what you wish. I ask only that you tell me to be gone with the idea of knowing such things if you wish not for me to know, such things..."}

Alex was quite surprised at the sudden intrusion. His voice sounded like radio backed with static. The air here was just a bit too magical for a completely clear connection. She also didn't expect this stranger to be able to telepathically communicate. Things could be more private between them, but there was only one issue of this privacy. No wait, maybe two problems. They would look interesting sitting at table together, not speaking and just looking at each other. The other problem came in which it would be harder to keep secrets and locked away memories behind the wall in her mind now that another had access.

All of the nitty gritty details of her life and the unpleasant memories could leak out. Of course, he could trip a floodgate. But in that event, she could just force him out. It wasn't such a bad thing, to be able to have a completely private conversation. In fact, it would make everything so much easier. She could pick and choose memories to show him without having to explain them to him in-depth, almost as if he had been there.

There are only a few instances when this is dangerous, when someone is unwilling, like Clay or when they purposely break the floodgate, like her brother. Neither of these was a possibility.

"Well, isn't that a development. I didn't know you could do that. I appreciate the request, but tell me: What else is it you can do?" She sat forward on her stool and arched her brow, looking directly into Zyrids eyes. She hoped he would catch on to the longing in her gaze. Longing for what? Not even she does know.

Specter followed Arlen as he made his way to the bar. As they crossed the room, Specter listened in on the conversations of multiple people in the room. More precisely, he listened to their thoughts as they spoke. Everyone seemed to be feeling each other out. Nothing of any great importance seemed to arise. Specter shrugged this off with a inaudible sigh as he continued to follow Arlen, whom was now rummaging through some cupboards in search of food.

@Alisdragon911

Specter noticed the girl's attack only moments before she launched it. "Arlen, look out!" The short warning was all that Specter could offer. Sure, he could get in between the two in the blink of an eye, but the girl would pass right through anyways.

Koru had been staring at the map for some time, its geography didn’t match anything on his map or anything in his journal. The characters scribbled out where clearly that of the common tongue if a little cruder than he was used to reading. As gruff as Mr. Hardwick came off as Koru could see that he did genuinely believe he had found this tavern on his map.

“But that doesn’t make any sense...” he muttered now comparing the rough note paper to his own. Koru was not new to the idea of planes of existence yet they still often had relations to the levels above or below it. However no matter how he tried to lined up the scribble to the coastal forests nothing matched.

How many levels of planes had this tavern taken him to have shifted the land so dramatically. The more he thought on it the more that these tavern seemed to be less of a gateway to another plane but a pocket dimension. However he had no earthly idea how one would keep one portal open to multiple locations at once. He swirled his drink thoughtfully.

“Though I have no doubts of their, ummm, Nastyness, I am interested to know what you found in your investigation?” he asked packing his map back into his cylindrical container. “Do you mind if I keep this?” he gestured to the map Mr. Hardwick had drawn up for him and opening his book to a fresh page the ink now dry.

'Sure thing, kid; It's all yours.' Hardwick handed the map to Koru, who placed it neatly inside the open book. 'As for the investigation, well...'

He looked down at the drink in front of him forlornly. It was the Golden Rule: Never share the knowledge of the lurking eldritch horrors with an outsider. It had kept both him and many others safe over the years, but it made for a lonely life. Outside a few select people at Miskatonic University, the chat with Koru was the closest thing Hardwick had had to meaningful human interaction for a long time.

'Aw, to Hell with it.' He took a deep breath. 'Have you ever heard of the Great Old Ones?'
