Isshin is a watchful child who tends to observe how others behave while not saying much himself. He has a knack for analyzing others which is considered quite the habit for him by this age but this is makes him appear shy and awkward to some more extroverted people. His curiosity is perhaps one of his most prominent traits, always looking for new information to divulge in. He always seems out of place in social situations, as his world lies in cold, hard logic and numbers. He's very blunt in answering and a simple kid in general. In battle and on missions Isshin is a much different person. He is stealthy, serious and always on task. History/Background:
The Nara clan originated in the Land of Fire even before the Sage came about with his chakratic antics, though their clan flourished from the birth of chakra and the manipulation of their Yin shadows. However when war broke out many of the Nara fled to Kumogakure, leaving few in Konoha. Isshin's family was one of the few who stayed. Both of his parents were Shinobi who fought in the war, even though they did not want to yet they defended their home.
A little while (few years) after the war ended his mother became pregnant and his father was worried of another war, mostly due to the fact that the Uchiha controlled Konoha and their thirst for conquering was not satiated with the death of the Hokage's younger brother. Isshin's parents decided it was best to move to Kumogakure with the other Nara, and were taken in by the Land of Lightning.
Isshin grew up intelligent and quiet. He had little friends and focused mainly on his academy jutsu and his studies. He embraced his clan's heritage and despite what his parents told him of the war he was never discouraged about becoming a Shinobi. He looked forward to the opportunity to change the world and did not hesitate when becoming a Genin. He passed the academy early and has been a Genin for five years now, constantly training his Hiden Jutsu.
He is a potent member of his squad, taking to the shadows as his home and finding his groove by covert means. With his Nara abilities he has built up quite the reputation even for a Genin, as abilities like his are quite rare among Kumogakure. Kazuma is refined, grounded and focused. A flaming soul of ambition, he is fueled by his goals and impulsive in reaching them, jumping from project to project in order to piece together the big picture of his visions. He is passionate about his beliefs and emotions, and imposes his will upon the world to build what he sees fit. He is in constant awareness of himself and his surroundings, and is always thinking of the others around him. A protective man, this is true both of his beliefs and the ones he cares about.
He's a quick-thinker and great at dealing with a crisis or thinking on the fly. He's strategic and fast to ditch a strategy that isn't working in favor of a newer, more ingenuitive approach even if he's not positive of the outcome. In this regard he's always contemplating the outcomes of situations and the possibilities that result from both past scenarios and future actions. He is very keen of the potential in both actions and people themselves, often recognizing it in others' eyes.
His awareness is key to his personality and his interaction with others, he is always watching the eyes, facial expressions and body language of everyone. He is very empathic in his compassionate approach toward his allies, though in most cases he is a hardened, stoic individual who surveys the behaviors of others while maintaining a sharp focus on his surroundings.
A lifetime of battle has turned him a bit callous and sarcastic, sometimes a tad standoffish with others. When others defy him or his beliefs, or should they dare harm his allies, Kazuma is quick to strike them down. Despite this he is always trying to understand the way others perceive things and trying to connect them with his own perceptions, and abstracting the meaning from the actions of others is second nature to him. History/Background:
The Harukotsu Clan were a powerful, domineering people who sought nothing but war for ages. They predated the Sage by several hundred years, and were a nomadic clan that originated on the island south of the Land of Wind. They controlled almost the entire island at one point until their reign was challenged by shinobi clans from the north. The Harukotsu laughed at this matter and seized it as an opportunity to imperialize northwards. They eventually had all departed from this island and were based in the Land of Wind, near present-day Sunagakure. However, they did not remain here long and the clan began spreading like a virus across the shinobi continent. Harukotsu were known for their violent tendencies, settling disputes with bloodshed, more times than not resulting in their conquest. They became known for raping and pillaging villages, taking beautiful women into their clan as their own and spreading their seed while obtaining a large pool of wealth from the clans and villages they conquered and stole from.
Eventually they were assimilated into the Land of Fire through imperialism as the main branch of the Harukotsu family sought after the rich land in the Land of Earth. And so the Harukotsu spread their influence across the western side of the continent, eventually the main branch of the Harukotsu was rooted in the Land of Earth, and became one of the most prominent clans in forming the country's history. They laid down the established wealth that the country became so widely known for, and were one of the many to discover the rich natural resources buried in the country's mountains and beneath the ground. This is how the country was given its name, the Land of Earth, from the rich earth its wealth and prosperity was born.
However as the time of Rikudo Sennin dawned, the Harukotsu clan had diminished from their far-reaching influence down to only the main branch located in the Land of Earth. They had tried to spread too far, their former influence in the Lands of Fire and Wind had all but disappeared, and the warring state of the world dwindled the numbers of living Harukotsu. As the Sage became a prominent figure in the world and spread his knowledge of chakra, the Harukotsu clan leader was a disciple of the Sage himself and was taught manipulation of electromagnetism, a very powerful ability. The Harukotsu clan leader and also Kazuma's grandfather, Kimishima Harukotsu, obtained full mastery of the electromagnetic spectrum, and was a devastating wielder of its might. By the time the Sage died Kimishima had obtained a high rank in Iwagakure, and many wanted him to be the First Tsuchikage, but after the Sage had passed turmoil began spreading everywhere, not just in the Land of Earth. Kimishima was assassinated at the dawn of the First Shinobi World War, leaving his son, Kazuma's father, to lead the clan. His assassination was a warning to the Harukotsu that they would not lead the country and that they would serve the first Tsuchikage, a tyrannical man who dictated the Land of Earth with supreme power.
Kazuma was born two years before the Sage died. Two years after, the first world war began. He was drafted into battle when he turned seven, and endured much suffering and bloodshed, however the thought of his grandfather being killed to support a controlling dictator was unsettling. Kazuma battled in the name of Iwagakure, and his home country, yet he would not bow to the Tsuchikage. Toward the end of the First World War the First Tsuchikage's power was dwindling after twenty years of constant warfare. Kazuma was nineteen.. and ready to change the world. He led a coup d'etat against the powers that be and succeeded with his comrades who stood against the Tsuchikage, but by the time the First World War ended.. Kazuma was one of three Harukotsu left alive, the whereabouts of the other two unknown, leaving Kazuma to believe he was the last surviving member.
As soon as the war ended Kazuma cut ties with Kirigakure who he believed was using Iwa and Suna to fight for their motives. Trade with them ceased, and the Land of Earth became a self-sufficient nation. With Kazuma's reign supreme, he rules Iwagakure with a fist of steel and tolerates no bullshit from other countries. He is very protective of his people and quite imperialistic about his land. Senjin Gourd (Thousand Fathoms) Appearance/Function:
A large gourd made of pressurized, heat-treated steel with a seal located inside at the bottom of the gourd is sealed into tattoos drawn onto Kazuma's left hand which is used to summon the gourd instead of constantly lugging around a steel container. The seal inside the Thousand Fathoms Gourd is used to spew out more same steel the gourd is made of, enough for a seemingly endless amount. The steel is drawn from the gourd via a Tetusekishin's ability to manipulate electromagnetic frequencies. Without it, one would have a very hard time removing the hefty steel from the gourd. As a member of the Harukotsu clan Kazuma is an incredibly large man, standing at just a few inches under seven feet, and boasts a muscular physique of dense, toned muscle. He relies on his speed and accuracy with his natural physical ability to overwhelm foes while analyzing them. Due to his muscle mass and genetic history his body is marvelously resilient, which coupled with his endurance and stamina makes him a physical beast. The one downside is all the battles he has been in have left his body somewhat deteriorated from his prime years, yet this is not to say he isn't still physically overwhelming.
His chakra control is average at best for someone befitting his title but this is due to the sheer density of his chakra pool, he holds tremendous amounts of it at his disposal. Kazuma's use of Ninjutsu is also very mediocre compared to most his rank, as it is his signature Nintaijutsu coupled with his Kekkei Genkai that he excels with. Due to his physical nature and engaging combat style he often overlooks Genjutsu unless they are obvious and has never had a talent for such techniques. Description: Harukotsu clan members are born with a unique electromagnetic form of chakra, and naturally produce a unique electromagnetic field because of it. All members are capable of manipulating this aura of electromagnetism and most members are capable of creating electromagnetic fields on their own, some rare members including Kazuma can sense the electromagnetic auras around them in a thirty yard radius.
Kazuma specializes in metals and heat, his fighting style involves bending metals with electromagnetic fields and heating metals with electricity in order to liquefy them into a molten state by which his electromagnetic manipulation of said metals becomes much more potent.

Effect: A passive ability of the Tetusekishin to morph the physical shape of metallic substances by creating electromagnetic forces of like and opposing charges which bend and contort the metal. Kazuma is able to shift the metals so fluidly that when he is manipulating a metal with his Kekkei Genkai it appears as a pseudo-liquid, but can "freeze" it into shapes such as shields, swords, spikes, walls, domes, cages, and nearly any three dimensional shape. Switching states is fairly quick for the Tsuchikage as he has honed his Kekkei Genkai for years.

Effect: The passive ability to push or pull charged objects to or from the user, in addition the user can set a positive or negative charge on a target via contact. Metal objects are especially easy to affect, simple items like shuriken and kunai are easily pushed away like leaves in the wind for example.
Weakness: There's a limit to the amount of weight the user can throw around, it's about 1 ton

Effect: Kazuma slams his hands on the ground creating a long-range pulse of lightning through the ground, destroying the earth. This will cause enemies and allies alike to trip over the earth, and anyone caught within the blast radius is paralyzed momentarily by electrocution.

Effect: Kazuma throws a projectile while putting a spin on it to cause it to rotate, and uses his electromagnetic chakra to cause a coilgun effect that launches the projectile at high speeds, turning a simple kunai into a deadly missile, capable of piercing strong defenses. This can be done to augment his physical attacks, turning parts of his body into a short-range projectile that always ends with physical damage due to the force put behind the attack.
Weakness: Chakra taxing and can only be used in one direction, using to augment the user's body is highly dangerous and always results in some form of damage
