I do want to point out that Nathan's victim mindset and general withdrawal from the people around him isn't something that I intend to keep permanent, but to change over time as his character develops. He's stuck believing that he's nothing but a freak, someone that people get uncomfortable around, which is what he's been dealing with from non-mutants for the last 17 years. Thanks to Connor especially, I think he'll start to see that maybe he isn't as segregated from those around him as he thinks he is.
Also,
@Caits, I think it'd be good for Nathan if he and Kalinda developed a friendship, a big part of his social dissociation is due to the fact that he thinks he's more machine than man, someone who can sense the emotions of those around her might be able to help him understand that he is an actual person, not just a robot. I don't want to try and force it, just figured I'd bounce it off of you to get your thoughts.
