@ryderthewriter @deserted Um Adair isn't in the dungeons? No one knows that he's a Maegher, and he's officially registered as a mage but not a Soturi or Maegher??? So there's no reason he should be in the dungeons... You want me to put in a Maegher NPC backstory insert thing?

I totally messed up the initial post guys. It was NOT intended for the guest in the dungeons to be any specific player. I forgot there was a character that specified in their background that they were in the dungeons. My intent was that any one of you could jump in with your character if you felt so inclined. Kate's risking her neck under the assumption that the character she's saving from the dungeon is a Soturi like herself. She's never been asked to kill a Soturi and morally can't bring herself to do it. So instead, she decided to help the prisoner flee so they can find the rebellion or whatever they want to do once they are a safe distance from the King and his soldiers. It doesn't matter if the character in the dungeons that Kate rescues is a Soturi, a Magi or neither...it was just meant to get the ball rolling.

I can go back and edit the initial post if you guys would like. Or we can figure out a way to make it work. Personally, I think as RPers we should be able to roll with the punches but this isn't just my RP, so I value your feedback and will always make an effort to take your wants into consideration for the plot.

Well, my character would have avoided anything to do with royalty and nobility like the plague, not to mention I doubt he would even be worth their time. So I doubt my character would be a good fit. However, I think it reasonable that he could know the following.

Possible long-time friends: (Most of them would have had to know him before their rise to glory, the sole exception being Elena, since they are most likely no longer in proximity and social groups that would encounter him often.)

Other than that, I cannot think of a reason Trent would know the others, though I am not opposed to the possibility. I would fill the role and, in fact wrote a scene up, but it really kept turning into "why the heck is a law abiding non-rebel, nobody from nowhere in the King's prison?"

I can write something up about the tyranny, and not needing any excuse to be rounded up, but I honestly think this jailbird would be better suited for another one of you guys.

I'd imagine Elena and Trent would've certainly encountered each other at the Tower, so long-time friends or the likes would be fine with me @Deserted
